Whatever might be to blame (or rather, credit) for their silence as of late, they decided to grace us with their presence this holiday season with a new, predictably racist social media movement. “Black Xmas” is designed by the Los Angeles chapter of BLM, and it is encouraging black people to buy exclusively from black-owned businesses as they shop for Christmas.

House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes has issued an angry demand to the FBI and Department of Justice to explain why they kept the committee in the dark over the reason Special Counsel Robert Mueller kicked a key supervising FBI agent off the Trump-Russia investigation.
Stories in both the Washington Post and New York Times on Saturday reported that Peter Strzok, who played a key role in the original FBI investigation into the Trump-Russia matter, and then a key role in Mueller’s investigation, and who earlier had played an equally critical role in the FBI’s Hillary Clinton email investigation, was reassigned out of the Mueller office because of anti-Trump texts he exchanged with a top FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, with whom Strzok was having an extramarital affair. Strzok was transferred to the FBI’s human resources office — an obvious demotion — in July.

“Around half of the Yazidi ethnic and religious minority kidnapped by the Islamic State group during their sweep through northern Iraq three years ago are still missing, Iraqi Kurdish officials said on Sunday.
It comes after Iraqi paramilitary forces uncovered two more mass graves close to Sinjar, the spiritual and cultural heartland of the Yazidi.
Thousands of Yazidi women and girls were killed or kidnapped and used as sex slaves, when the militants captured Sinjar in 2014.
A top official with the ministry of religious affairs of the autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq said that some 6,417 Yazidis were abducted by the militants from 3 August, 2014.
Up until 1 December 2017, only 3,207 of them have been rescued or managed to flee their captors, said Khairi Bozani.
The remaining 3,210 Yazidis – including 1,507 women or girls – were still either held by the militants or considered missing, he told AFP.
The ministry has been following up on the case and its figures show that 2,525 Yazidi children are now orphans while the parents of 220 others were still unaccounted for.
Meanwhile, at least 47 mass graves containing the remains of Yazidis have been found since 2014, according to Bozani, the latest of which was discovered on Saturday with some 140 bodies.
Kurdish fighters backed by the US-led coalition against IS captured Sinjar from IS in November 2015 before Iraqi security forces took control of the region in October.
The UN has called the massacres of the Yazidi a genocide, arguing that IS had planned them and then intentionally separated men from women to prevent children from being born.
The Yazidis are Kurdish-speaking but follow their own non-Muslim faith that earned them the hatred of the extremist IS group.
Yazidis believe in one God who created the world and entrusted it to seven Holy Beings, the most important of which is Melek Taus, or the Peacock Angel.
Around 550,000 Yazidis lived in Iraq before the massacres but since then 100,000 have left the country while 360,000 have been displaced and live in Iraqi Kurdistan or across the border in Syria.”

“A coordinated campaign with the participation of 19 ministries and government departments has succeeded in arresting 132,647 violators of residency and labor regulations all over the Kingdom in about three weeks, campaign sources said.
They said 75,918 people were arrested for violating the residency system and 34,847 for labor rules since Nov. 15 when the campaign started. They said 21,882 of the detainees had breached border security.
The sources said 1,658 people were caught while attempting to sneak into the Kingdom across its southern borders. A majority of them were Yemenis (79 percent) followed by Ethiopians at 20 percent.
They said 34 other people were apprehended while trying to leave the Kingdom illegally through its land borders.
The sources said 416 people, including 65 Saudis, were arrested for providing transport to illegal expatriates. They said 44 Saudis were punished and released while 21 others were still under investigation.
According to the sources, as many as 14,015 expatriates were presently kept in various detention centers. They consisted of 12,630 men and 1,385 women.
Meanwhile, security forces in Riyadh arrested 1,523 violators in the past couple of days.
On Nov. 15, Saudi authorities launched an all-out campaign to free the nation of illegal expatriates following the end of an eight-month-long amnesty that allowed all residency and labor law violators to leave the country on their own without incurring any fines or imprisonment.”
