      When Islam educators are on the road in public, there are always exciting situations. The general inability of many Muslims to accept criticism causes excited reactions, which often leads to violent insults and uncontrolled actions.

    But this must not stop us from bringing the quality information about this totalitarian ideology in the cloak of a religion to the people . At the rally of the civic movement Pax Europa (BPE) last Saturday, one could sense from the high attention in the Munich pedestrian zone that the topic of Islam is burning on the soul of many citizens.

    I had barely begun to talk about Islam when an angry Moslem appeared and tried to rip the microphone out of my hand. She felt that the overwhelming majority of Muslims we meet at our events are personally offended by our criticism of Islam. Although I told her so many times that our criticism is not directed against people but against ideology, she did not calm down. She insisted that Islam meant “peace” and got more and more excited until she hit posters.

    Then she seriously asked if I wanted every Christian to kill a Muslim. This bizarrely irrational thinking shows that it is simply not possible for many Muslims to mentally accept the factually supported Enlightenment, to deal with it logically and to make their own critical thoughts. The highly agitated and outraged reactions of Muslims are typical signs of a totalitarian ideology in which contradiction is brutally suppressed and unconditional obedience is demanded.

    Furthermore, I expressed that we are not willing to accept the ongoing Islamic terror.
    It would be the duty of the responsible politicians to eliminate the cause of violence and killing, that being the Koran + the Sunnah with their brutal orders.

    The hypocritical government politicians can save their stereotypical shock and dismay drivel after each attack -being almost always a copy and paste speech of the last terror attack, merely changing location and certain text fragments. The fact that these traitors persistently protect Islam, makes them jointly responsible for the numerous deaths that have occurred already and whose number will increase dramatically in the future.

    “Gunmen shot and killed an Indonesian police officer Wednesday in the latest suspected attack by separatists near a giant gold and copper mine in easternmost Papua.

    Another officer was wounded in the attack on a patrol near the mine owned by Phoenix, Arizona-based Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., said Papua police spokesman Ahmad Musthofa Kamal.

    Tensions in the region have flared in the past month. Members of the National Liberation Army of West Papua have declared an area near the mine a battlefield with Indonesian security forces and last week stationed fighters in two villages.

    One paramilitary police officer was killed and six others wounded in attacks last month.

    A low-level insurgency for independence has simmered in Papua since it was transferred from Dutch to Indonesian rule in 1963. The region, which makes up the western half of the island of New Guinea, was incorporated into Indonesia in 1969 following a U.N.-sponsored ballot of tribal leaders that has since been dismissed as a sham.

    Indonesia maintains a heavy security presence in the region and restricts foreign journalists from reporting there.

    The Freeport mine has periodically suffered arson, roadside attacks and blockades since operations began in the 1970s.

    Police on Wednesday said there have been nearly 20 gun attacks near the mine since August, killing a total of three people and wounding 12.”

    “Lebanon’s military says it has arrested a fugitive radical Islamist cleric who was implicated in the abduction of soldiers by militants three years ago.

    The military says Mustafa al-Hujairi, known as Abu Taqiyya, was taken into custody on Wednesday in the border town of Arsal. The town was overran briefly in 2014 by militants linked to al-Qaida and the Islamic State group.

    The militants kidnapped several soldiers and al-Hujairi was believed involved in the negotiations with the government for their release.

    A number were released but at least nine were killed. Their bodies were found earlier this year. Media reports have said that al-Hujairi’s son allegedly confessed that his father was linked to the attack on Arsal.

    The military statement says the interrogation of al-Hujairi is underway.”

    “A joint survey by the Afghan government and the United Nation shows that opium production in Afghanistan has increased by 87 percent this year.

    The production stands at a record level of 9,000 metric tons so far in 2017, compared with 2016 levels.

    Afghan Ministry of Counter Narcotics and the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime say in the survey that the area under opium poppy cultivation has also increased to a record 328,000 hectares in 2017, up 63 percent compared with 201,000 hectares in 2016.

    Also, the survey says number of poppy-free provinces in the country decreased from 13 to 10, with now Ghazni, Samangan and Nuristan province also becoming poppy growing regions, raising the number of those cultivating the poppy from 21 to 24.”

    “Police say one person has died in a fire at a home for asylum-seekers in southern Germany.

    Officers were alerted at about 3 a.m. Wednesday to the blaze at the building in Bamberg, which currently houses 163 people. Police said that firefighters quickly brought under control the fire that had broken out in one apartment, sending smoke through the two-story building.

    Fourteen people were slightly injured as a result of inhaling smoke. Police said a body was found in the apartment where the fire broke out, but they had no immediate details on the person’s identity.

    There was no immediate information on the cause of the fire.”

  12. Black death plague ravaging Madagascar will ‘get WORSE’ as antibiotics AREN’T working

    THE dreaded Black Death plague blighting Madagascar will “get worse before it gets better” if antibiotics aren’t handed out quickly, a scientist has told Daily Star Online.

    At least 165 people have been killed by the devastating outbreak of an airborne disease spreading like wildfire in Madagascar.

    Around another 2,000 people have been struck down by the – called pneumonic plague – by the lethal “medieval disease”.

    Infection and immunity expert Dr Matthew Avison, of University of Bristol, has revealed the outbreak in east Africa is likely to become more serious before the “crisis” ends.

    Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Dr Avison said because the disease is “extremely rare” it has been “resilient” to antibiotics.

    “A council in Britain is taking action to crack down on “Islamophobia” in response to some parents refusing to send their children on mosque visits arranged by schools.

    After it emerged that some pupils were being prevented from going on school trips to mosques by their families, Staffordshire’s Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) produced a document claiming mosque visits are vital in preparing children for life in “diverse” Britain.

    While families have the right to remove their children from school trips, SACRE said it was a “serious matter” that pupils have been withdrawn from mosque visits. Some parents have cited concerns over cost and safety in their requests, while others deplored a “political agenda” behind the activities, according to the Stoke Sentinel.

    To counter this trend, SACRE is issuing schools with guidance on how to counter the trend, which includes a template letter to parents claiming that mosque visits play an important role in “helping to prepare and equip pupils for life and citizenship in today’s diverse and plural Britain”.

    The education body told schools: “While objections are raised about visits to a number of places of worship, they are most frequently about visits to mosques, which raises the bigger issue of Islamaphobia [sic] and how this can be addressed.”…”

    “In a pioneering case, a 25-year-old jihadist who left Denmark to fight for Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) has been stripped of his Danish citizenship. This marks the first time a person born and raised in Denmark has had their national passport revoked.

    Denmark’s Supreme Court sentenced Enes Ciftci to six years’ imprisonment, deprivation of citizenship and expulsion from the Nordic country for joining Daesh and financing terrorism economically, Danish Radio reported.

    The man fought alongside his fellow Islamists in Syria and was first sentenced to seven years in prison by the District Court. However, the sentence was changed by the Court of Appeal, which also denied the jihadist his Danish citizenship. Nevertheless, the sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court.

    The court emphasized that the man twice joined Daesh, where he received arms training, while also supporting the organization with DKK 20,000 ($3,200) and publicly praising terrorism after the deadly attack in Copenhagen in 2015.

    The deprivation of citizenship is firmly rooted in international law, since the foreign fighter also happens to be a Turkish citizen.

    Ciftci was born in Denmark in 1992 to Turkish parents and was brought up and schooled in the Nordic country. His grandparents came to Denmark as guest workers in the 1960s and 1970s. He is single and lived with his parents until his arrest. He dropped out of high school and worked at the family’s pizzeria.

    This case, where a Danish-born person was stripped of his citizenship, is expected to set a precedent for similar trials in the future. In the past, only one person had lost his Danish citizenship because of crime. This happened in June 2016 to Said Mansour, who was also a Moroccan citizen. Mansour, locally dubbed the “Bookseller from Brønshøj” and “al-Qaeda’s PR man” was found guilty of fomentation and support of terrorism. Unlike Ciftci, however, he was not born in Denmark, but immigrated into the country as an adult…”

  23. Iraqi politicians propose law to let girls as young as nine marry

    United Nations and regional women’s rights activists say bill that would apply to Shia community violates child protection measures

    A draft law which would allow girls to get married from the age of nine has been put forward for discussion in Iraq’s parliament.

    The amendments to Iraq’s Personal Status law – first proposed in 2014 – is based on the teachings of the Jaafari school of Shia religious jurisprudence, and if passed, would only apply to the country’s Shia community.

    It was put forward by 40 members of parliament last week, and in theory will be debated by the house – but will need the support of 165 politicians (just over half of Iraq’s 328 representatives) to become law. […]

    • NYT -Law that could legalize marriage for girls as young as 9 sparks protests in Iraq

      In Iraq, a proposed law to allow Muslim clerics to govern marriage contracts has been condemned by women’s rights activists who note that the law would effectively legalize child marriage in the country. Women’s and civil rights groups marched last weekend in protest of the law, which is reportedly a revised and watered down version of an infamous 2014 bill that would have legalized marital rape, banned Muslim men from marrying non-Muslims, and made it illegal for women to leave the house without their husband’s permission.

      “This bill contradicts international conventions and the national law in Iraq,” Suad Abu-Dayyeh of Equality Now told The Guardian, noting that the legal age of marriage in Iraq is 18. “If it is approved, in effect, each and every religious sect will follow their clerics. It will be catastrophic for women’s rights.”

      While the new law is not yet listed on the parliament’s agenda, on November 1st it was signed in principle by 40 parliamentarians.

      Human Rights Watch has also spoken out against the law, adding that they were still analyzing it in order to understand its full implications. According to a petition signed by activists from civil society organizations on Sunday, the law would effectively “authorize religious men to enforce illegal marriages and force girls under 18 to live with their in-laws” and undo provisions for Iraqi women that they won “half a century ago.” Certain Islamic sects in Iraq dictate that women as young as nine can marry because they believe that the prophet Muhammad took a 9-year-old bride, while other sects claim that women should be allowed to marry as soon as they hit puberty.

    A former Secret Service agent assigned to the Vice President Joe Biden residence claims that the Service often had to protect female agents from him.

    Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the agent asserted that, “We had to cancel the VP Christmas get together at the Vice President’s house because Biden would grope all of our wives and girlfriend’s asses.”The annual party was for agents and Navy personnel who were tasked with protecting the Biden family.

    “He would mess with every single woman or teen. It was horrible,” the agent said.

    According to the source, a Secret Service agent once got suspended for a week in 2009 for shoving Biden after he cupped his girlfriend’s breast while the couple was taking a photo with him. The situation got so heated, the source told Cassandra Fairbanks, that others had to step in to prevent the agent from hitting the then-Vice President.

    • I had lunch with Biden and a few other people some years ago. He was unctuous, but nowhere near as dumb as he seems. He asked great questions, has a stunning memory for detail. He plays dumb for some reason, a shifty behavior that makes you wonder…

      He seemed like the kind who would try his luck, but take “no” as NO. Like most men of his generation, _no _big_ deal_.

  25. Germany: Paris Agreement ‘must remain irreversible’ – Steinmeier

    President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that the 2015 climate agreement “must remain irreversible”, when speaking at the World Climate Change Conference in Bonn, on Wednesday.

    Pointing to the US and their recent decision to withdraw from the Paris agreement, Steinmeier stated, “Maybe some of those who are leaving the helm today to take the dingy might want to join us again in a few years’ time and come back on board.”

    He added, “Maybe those responsible in the state capitals, in municipalities, enterprises and civil society can come up to achieve something remarkable in the meantime.”

    The German President stressed the immediacy of the threat, saying, “I have no doubt this dramatic and urgent situation calls on us to hurry up and act with resolve.”

  26. Beware Russians (or, really, anyone) bearing evidence

    There could hardly be anything timelier than a reminder that “evidence” is easily simulated.

    Sometimes simulated evidence is assumed to have stood up to scrutiny because no one challenges it very hard.

    Other times it is challenged immediately, and fails, very publicly, to withstand inspection.

    For whatever reason, the latter is often the case with evidence offered by Russia.

    The most recent case (that we know of) is from Tuesday morning, 14 November 2017. Russia’s defense ministry accused the U.S. of providing tactical military support to ISIS near the Syrian town of Al-Bukamal: the outpost on the border with Iraq where Iran-backed troops are converging from both sides, Iraqi and Syrian, to evict ISIS for good from its former stronghold on the Euphrates River corridor.

    Dozens of officers in riot gear used shields to push back the migrants near the center of Thessaloniki and blocked the road with police buses. The marchers, who included families with young children, refused to leave and sat down in the street. No one was hurt in the brief confrontation.

    The migrants, most of them from Syria, Iraq and Somalia, had gathered throughout the day in Thessaloniki. Many said they were responding to a campaign on social media for a march to the Greece-Macedonia border to protest their inability to relocate to other European countries.

    “I have no reason to stay here,” Ahmed Mohammed, an asylum-seeker from Syria, told The Associated Press. “I’ve been here for six months, first on (the island of) Chios and then I went to Athens. I can’t work. I can’t do anything.”

    More than 60,000 migrants and refugees who first arrived in Greece remain stranded in the country. Some countries have strengthened their borders to prevent immigrants from arriving illegally, while others have refused to take in asylum-seekers under an EU distribution plan…”

    The minister’s claim was based on the government’s projection that between 2014 and 2049 Britain will need homes for 210,000 new households a year, of which it said 77,000 will be down to immigration, and the remaining 133,000 resulting from future family formation by the existing population.

    But the projection “seriously understates the true impact of immigration on housing demand”, according to Migration Watch’s report, which notes that not only does the government model its figures on the assumption that future net migration will be much lower than today, it also ignores the effect of migrants already living in Britain…”

    “A 21-year-old Afghan asylum seeker was arrested in the Austrian city of Linz after luring a woman to a local park where he struck her down and raped her.

    The attack occurred on October 1st when a 30-year-old woman was walking around late in the evening having lost her mobile phone. The 21-year-old offered to help the woman find her phone and said that his friends were nearby and she could use their phone. He then led her to a nearby park and raped her, Kronen Zeitung reports.

    The migrant was able to escape the scene without being captured, but authorities do not believe it was the only sex attack he committed.

    Police say a few days after the attack, he is believed to have followed a 22-year-old woman from the Nibelungen bridge to her home where he harassed her outside the entrance. The woman was able to escape unharmed.

    On November 1st, the same Afghan asylum seeker attempted to sexually harass a 19-year-old who was heading back home from an event. When he tried to force himself on her, the 19-year-old fought back fiercely and scratched him in the face. The 21-year-old then fled and was later caught by police who had increased their patrols due to the rising number of attacks.

    “Sweden’s justice minister has rejected a proposal by the Moderate party to record the ethnic backgrounds of sex attackers saying the only thing that matters is that they are men.

    Justice Minister Morgan Johansson said that the Moderates wanted to simply blame the rise in sex crimes on migrants and argued that all criminals should be treated equally.

    Johansson also pointed to the #metoo movement saying that sex attacks occur among all ethnicities and backgrounds in Sweden, broadcaster SVT reports.

    “The common denominator of those who commit these crimes is that they are men,” Johansson said and added: “It seems that the Moderates are pulling out of talking about the men’s role in this and instead just want to blame the immigrants.”

    Earlier this year, the populist Sweden Democrats made a similar proposal when they asked the government for information relating to the relationship between migration and crime.

    Johansson rejected the request saying: “Sweden’s earlier figures and numerous international studies all show much the same thing. Minority groups are often overrepresented in crime statistics, but when controlling for socioeconomic factors this [the overrepresentation of minority groups] disappears almost entirely.”

    The Moderates have also made a number of other suggestions to reform the rape laws in Sweden, including increasing the sentence for coercive rape to five to eight years in prison and very serious rape should have a sentence of between seven and 10 years behind bars.

    The proposal by the Moderates follows a call by 10 members of the party to deploy the military to help police in the growing number of heavily migrant-populated no-go zones in the country last month. The proposal was ultimately rejected by Justice Minister Johansson who said: “There are no military solutions to the problems.”

    Johansson has been the subject of controversy in the past for his various statements, including totally refusing to ever consider stripping the citizenship of Islamic State fighters returning to Sweden from the Middle East. Johansson said the Swedish government refuses to make anyone “stateless”.”

    Wendy “Abortion Barbie” Davis may have gotten trounced in the 2014 Texas governor’s race, but at least she will be cinematically memorialized as a heroine. The word on the street is that Sandra Bullock has been cast in a film called “Let Her Speak” about Davis’s 2013 filibuster.

    Even before the first scene has been shot I can tell you exactly what the movie will be about — Wendy Davis’s supposed bravery. This is a woman who stood on the floor of the Texas Senate — in cute pink tennis shoes! — for eleven straight hours advocating for the “right” to have very late-term abortions in unsafe and unsanitary clinics.

    If that’s not bravery I don’t know what is. You go, girl!

    Hollywood is fond of such moralizing films. “Erin Brockovich,” a film about pollution and corporate greed, won Julia Roberts an Academy Award. Since then Hollywood has treated us to “Stop Loss” (anti-Iraq War), “Trumbo” (McCarthyism), “Detroit “(racism, police brutality) and “Miss Sloane” (gun control). With the exception of “Erin Brockovich,” audiences have largely passed on these films, probably because of their insufferable preachiness.

    Suburbs (“banlieues”) — distant from the affluent boulevards and bistros of Paris — form the “other France”. They are the “peripheral France”, (“La France Périphérique”) as the geographer Christophe Guilluy calls them in an important book. They are where “living together” between communities has really been tested.

    In the last 20 years, these French suburbs have not only become “concentrations of poverty and social isolation”, but have gone from being some of France’s most densely-populated Jewish areas to “lost territories of the Republic”, according to the great historian Georges Bensoussan, in his book, Les territoires perdus de la République.

    These suburbs have become transformed into one of the most visible signs of the Islamization of France.

    Anti-Semitism has returned as one of Europe’s worst diseases. France hosts Europe’s largest Jewish community, and Jews have been fleeing the suburbs to either emigrate or move to gentrified districts of the cities, where they feel more protected. What happens to the Jews will have a seismic impact on the entire continent.

    In what is being called an “unprecedented move,” eight European countries — members of an initiative called the West Bank Protection Consortium — recently announced that they had drafted a formal letter to the Israeli government, demanding the reimbursement of €30,000. According to Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Luxembourg, Ireland and Denmark, this was the sum spent by the Consortium on materials provided for two structures (modular classrooms equipped with solar panels) erected for Palestinians and Bedouin in the West Bank, and dismantled by Israel at the end of August.

    What these EU countries failed to mention, however, is that the structures were illegal, and therefore should not have been built in the first place. Instead, in its letter, the Consortium accused Israel of causing “suffering to Palestinian civilians,” through its “practice of coercive measures such as demolitions and confiscations of humanitarian supplies as well as infrastructure for schools,” and of “contradict[ing] Israel’s engagement according to the international point of view…”

  48. Twitter explains how users can lose their verified status

    Twitter warned users Wednesday that they can lose “verified” status on its platform, releasing a set of rules for keeping the “blue checkmark” that verifies their identity.

    The social media giant, in an update on the help center portion of its website, explained how users can lose the blue check marks denoting that their profiles are verified. The violations include misleading users on Twitter, as well as promoting hate and harassing others, among other types of behavior that violate Twitter’s rules.
    “Twitter reserves the right to remove verification at any time without notice,” reads the new rule. “Previously verified accounts may not be eligible to have badges restored.”

    The new rules come one week after Twitter announced that it would pause its verification process over concerns of how the blue check for verified users is interpreted.

    “Verification was meant to authenticate identity and voice but it is interpreted as an endorsement or an indicator of importance,” the company tweeted last Thursday.

    The new rules appeared to already have an effect on some users. Media figure Laura Loomer and far-right British activist Tommy Robinson both took to the site to complain that they had lost their checks, while white supremacist leader Richard Spencer also appeared to lose his verification.

    Twitter’s announcement last week followed outcry over its decision to verify white supremacist Jason Kessler, the organizer of the “Unite The Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va., that turned violent in August.

    Twitter’s moves signal a shift in how it perceives verification. The company had previously stuck to its position that it verifies users not as an endorsement but to show that “an account of public interest is authentic.”

    In the midst of all the usual media pablum, a curious item has been making its way across the leftsphere. Its title is, “Breitbart’s Coming Exploitation of the Believe Women Movement.”

    It’s been cited by a number of lefty media outlets, including Michelle Goldberg’s New York Times piece attacking Bill Clinton’s accusers and challenging the idea that women should be believed when they accuse politicians, at least Democrats, of assault.

    There are two very curious things about “Breitbart’s Coming Exploitation of the Believe Women Movement.”

    1. The article appears to be anticipating a sex scandal about a Democrat presidential candidate in 2020

    2. It ran on Crooked, which was founded by Obama staffers

    Crooked isn’t just another lefty site. Its top people are Jon Favreau, Tommy Vietor, Jon Lovett, and Dan Pfeiffer. All Obama spokesmen, speechwriters and staffers. The site is very much an obvious attempt to attack Trump. But it would be foolish not to understand that it’s meant as a key platform for the emerging Dem candidate in 2020.

  50. Clinton: DOJ investigating me would be ‘abuse of power’

    Hillary Clinton on Wednesday warned that if President Trump directs his Justice Department to investigate her role in a 2010 sale of a uranium company, it would be “a disastrous step into politicizing the Justice Department.”

    “This is such an abuse of power,” Clinton said in an interview with Mother Jones, following reports that the Justice Department is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate.

    “I regret if they do it because it will be such a disastrous step to politicizing the justice system,” she said. “If they send a signal that we’re going to be like some dictatorship, like some authoritarian regime, where political opponents are going to be unfairly, fraudulently investigated, that rips at the fabric of the contract we have, that we can trust our justice system.”

    Several Republicans have called for a special counsel to be named to investigate the Obama-era deal, which happened while Clinton was secretary of State. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said this week that the State Department would only consider such a step if it fits “a factual basis that meets the standard of a special counsel.”

    Trump has expressed frustration with his Justice Department and Sessions, pointing to a “lack of investigation” into Clinton.

    The company, Uranium One, at the time the deal was made, controlled land equal to about 20 percent of the U.S.’s uranium capacity.

    Republicans have sought to tie the takeover to $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation by stakeholders in the company.

    Democrats have countered that Clinton wasn’t personally involved in the sale. Nine agencies, including the State Department, approved the deal at the time. It was also investigated by congressional committees in 2015.

    Clinton said she is “not concerned” with whether a special counsel will be appointed or that she will face indictments “because I know that there is no basis to it.”

    “And at the end of the day, nothing will come of it, but it will, you know, cause a lot of terrible consequences that we might live with for a really long time,” she said.
