The hormone is released naturally by humans during social and sexual behaviour, and research has shown it breeds trust and generosity in others.
Oxytocin, known as the love or ‘cuddle hormone’, together with being surrounded by charitable peers was found to boost people’s willingness to donate money to refugees in, even in those with a sceptical attitude toward migrants.

I’ve required treatment off and on since the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013.
There are legitimate medical uses for the drug but there is a lot of potential for governmental abuse, if you haven’t read Clockwork Orange please do so.

So, if Lance Armstrong can have his medals revoked because performance-enhancing drugs were found in his urine samples, can a vote in the Legislature to greatly expand welfare benefits be overturned if traces of oxytocin are found in the food/drink served to the legislators?
And college students are considered rapists if they shared a bottle of wine prior to lovemaking, because they cannot consent to sex while drunk?

If you read Clockwork Orange many of the things that are occurring in Britain right now are predicted in the book.
As I noted when posting this link the other day, they’ll probably just put oxytocin in the water supply. The numerous parallels to soma in “Brave New World” are alarming, to say the least.
Until actual thought-control becomes possible, chemical mind-control will just have to do. Some are even asserting that mobile device technology and Social Media platforms are part of this mind-control agenda; a notion which I am having an increasingly difficult time refuting. One look at how smartphones have “dumbed down” the entire digital generation (i.e., Generation Z) and this idea suddenly doesn’t seem so outlandish.
In reality, Political Correctness is a genuine form of thought-control. Both through self-censorship and by the elimination of plain spoken vocabulary. If one doesn’t have the words to express an idea, that concept withers away and dies.
The profound irony of Alex DeLarge’s fate in the ending of “A Clockwork Orange” presages exactly what is happening to the European people in general. For those who have not read the book or seen the movie, please do so right away. The Propaganda Media is conditioning its consumers in precisely the same manner that DeLarge was behaviorally modified (only without the eyelid forceps).
Just like Generation Z, indigenous Europeans are purposefully being left vulnerable as part of neutralizing some of the last people who remain capable of posing any sort of meaningful resistance.
