  1. When a man says he does not know that Truth exists he begins to stink like a postmodernist.

    • Hi Johnnyu,

All I read are accusations of Soros – blamed for ill-intent – whenever he funds organizations that advocate for equality.

Left Wing is what it is. It is the feminine. You don’t destroy it, just moderate it. The Right Wing likewise has a voice.

International Socialism is the fake-female, the Far Left for an envy of possessions; National Socialism is fake-male, the Far Far Left, (man born of woman’s rib) resenting life. Totalitarian hives of femaled workers or ones where drones all fly off to Heaven. Whereas humanity; is where Adam and Eve is the blueprint.

I’ve looked hard at videos and links, for the darkened hand of Soros, for the real conspiracy from sources such as wikileaks, I have yet to find.

For NorseRadish, who wanted him dead; he inspired me look closely at the man and I found him very boring, simplistic, but very very successful at predicting and manipulating the stock market all day.

This is what discussion is all about.

Today I worked with an African muslim immigrant who was abused for being a female by her culture, and forced to have no education. She told me she had never heard of Sunny and Cher – she thought there was only the one version of Islam, (that she had never read).

So, likewise let’s not let others report without evidence to dictate their bias towards George Soros. This boogy man made evil just as muhammad had been made good.

“When a man says he does not know that Truth exists he begins to stink like a postmodernist.”

Karl Popper, George’s lecturer at the London School of Economics, advocated that science relied of falsification, to test their theories to destruction, and to quit when new discoveries emerged. Like when Newtonian Mechanics gave way to Quantum Physics. Truths once thought Universal were not.

“When a man says he does not know that Truth exists…” he is therefore being honest, because only you can love your god, and only you can love your neighbor as yourself. If there was made a law to submit to them from another person or committee, and death if you didn’t; one would be called Islam the other would be called Communism.

“But he answered, “It is written,
‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds
out of the mouth of God.’”

Our conscience is our only guide when all is said and done.

      • PC I appreciate your open mind. Soros is a unique character. He has incredible talents. I do, however, stand on guard against the conmen of high finance, used auto repair, and everything in between. Reflexivity is pretty sexy stuff. I’ve applied the concept to my own art for some years. My problem with Soros is that I suspect he wants the world to think that his genius extends beyond money making. Therein hides the con. I don’t buy it. And I don’t like that he is able to skate beyond moral accountability for wagers laying waste to millions of “dog eating” Romanians, Englishmen, Hungarians or what have you. He is smug and superior–two qualities I cannot stand. I don’t wish him dead–not my kind of karma to wish people dead (well maybe just a couple)–but at the same time i think the world will be better off without him.

Whether you are simply being contrarian, or not, the civilized debate is the best part of Vladtepes!

        • “…the civilized debate is the best part of Vladtepes!”

          It is!

“Whether you are simply being contrarian…”

I was! From the rationale that disease has its place, this demand for a pound of flesh needed examination.

Without any clue about George Soros, NorseRadish inspired me to find out.

Taking Soros at his word, acting as his lawyer. The devil’s advocate.

          His Defence rests.

          • Soros isn’t a nice man, any good he has done was an unexpected side effect of hs attempts to seize more of the worlds wealth. Having said that the attempt to have his wealth seized and turned over to the government under a RICO law suit is not going to succeed and it shouldn’t. The RICO laws are to allow the government to seize the money that is made through criminal actions. Soros doesn’t make money from his left wing activity, he spends money on them. He expects to make a lot of money once the left seizes total control but until he starts making money through illegal action his wealth is safe. Yes we could just seize his wealth but that would sink us further into Third World status and make it harder to return to the rule of law.

          • “Soros isn’t a nice man, any good he has done was an unexpected side effect of hs attempts to seize more of the worlds wealth.”

As a hedge fund manager of an offshore investment fund, typically formed as a private limited partnership, that engages in speculation using credit or borrowed capital, that’s what you do. Making other people’s money work for them.

‘Isn’t a nice man… any good he does is unexpected…’

Where is the maturity in this statement? Where is the evidence to back this up?

When reporters are hostile and attack people, when people’s names are dragged through the mud, we have always found they were good souls.

Michael Jackson and Jimmy Saville were the darlings of the media until eventually the voices of children from the past got through the defences of The Establishment. Then they all changed their tune and placed every sin on them alone.

            The jury is still.out.

  2. ‘Spin your left-wing wet dreams’ Former Trump aide lashes Channel 4 host in heated clash (express, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/848075/donald-trump-news-twitter-sebastian-gorka-charlottesville-channel-4

“FORMER Donald Trump aide Sebastian Gorka lashed a Channel 4 host over violent rallies in the United States mocking his “left-wing wet dreams”.

Former deputy assistant to the President, Mr Gorka, told Krishnan Guru-Murthy in a heated clash that the left had “normalised violence” and many were as bad as the Ku Klux Klan.

His comments come after a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia turned violent earlier this month with aggression from left- and right-wing groups.

Donald Trump afterwards said both sides were to blame for the riots.

Speaking on Channel 4 News, Mr Gorka said: “It’s the left that have normalised violence.

“The KKK are a joke, they don’t have any place in normal political life.”

Mr Guru-Murthy challenged the former aide for failing to condemn ‘Nazis’ in the marches.

He said: “Didn’t you look at those pictures of Nazis and say to the President ‘look Mr President, you’ve got to condemn these people, you can’t say that they’re the same, there aren’t great people among these marches, these are Nazis.”

But Mr Gorka had no time for the presenter’s questioning.

He said: “Just keep spinning your left-wing wet dreams, please.”

Asked if that was the best he had, Mr Gorka added: “No, you’re clearly not listening. There is violence on both sides of these events.

“When people come with baseball bats and urine bombs to these events, under the name of anti-fascism, I mean I’m sorry we don’t do that in a democracy.

“The KKK are just as bad as individuals on the left who come to be violent.”

Mr Trump faced a storm of criticism from Democrats and members of his own Republican Party over his initial response to violence around the rally in the Southern college town of Charlottesville.

He later explicitly condemned neo-Nazi groups.

The trouble erupted after hundreds of white nationalists converged in Charlottesville to protest plans to remove a statue of General Robert E. Lee, commander of the pro-slavery Confederate army in the US Civil War.

Street brawls broke out as the white nationalists were met by crowds of anti-racism demonstrators.”

  3. TERROR WARNING: Britain home to 35,000 Islamist fanatics, says security chief (express, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/848151/terror-warning-ISIS-Britain-UK-islamist-fanatics-terrorism

BRITAIN is home to up to 35,000 fanatical Islamists – with 3,000 of them “worrying” MI5, Europe’s top anti-terrorism official said today.

European Union’s counter-terrorism co-ordinator Gilles de Kerchove singled out the UK as having more radicalised muslims than any other country in Europe.

Mr de Kerchove also warned Islamic State will attempt a cyber-attack on nuclear power stations or air traffic control systems within five years – possibly by paying Russian hackers to break into vital computer systems.

The official, who is in regular contact with security services, as well as terror experts and governments around Europe, said: “The United Kingdom has identified 20,000 to 35,000 radicals.

Of these, 3,000 are worrying for MI5, and of those 500 are under constant and special attention.

“France has 17,000. Spain many less, but more than 5,000 I suppose. In Belgium almost 500 have been to Syria and there are around 2,000 radicals or more.

“I wouldn’t like to put a concrete figure on it, but (in Europe) tens of thousands, more than 50,000.

“We must select those who are really worrying and the most dangerous, and they should be monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

Mr de Kerchove, who has been in his position since 2007, was speaking in an interview with Spain’s El Mundo newspaper.

He warned European countries will suffer further attacks inspired by ISIS – and said greater measures must be taken to prevent them.

Asked about the 12-man cell who murdered 16 and injured more than 100 in attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils on August 17 and 18, he said: “It’s early to draw definitive conclusions, but we know that we need much greater efforts in prevention.

“How do we detect the first signals (of radicalisation), no matter how weak they are? They succeeded in preparing the attacks under the radar.

“We will suffer more attacks. Most, except for Brussels and Paris, were not directed from Raqqa, but they were inspired there. And later Islamic State claims responsibility.

“The propaganda of the organisation no longer requires people to go to the caliphate. They can attack in their places or origin, including on a small scale with home-made weapons.”

Mr de Kerchove said it was vital that European intelligence agencies and police properly analyse the data they collect and share.

For example, police in Catalonia had been warned about Abdelbaki Es Satty, the alleged leader of the Barcelona cell, by counterparts in Belgium, but failed to recognise the danger he represented.

The counter-terrorism official warned that radicals were increasingly using the islamic concept of “taqiyya” – concealing their religious beliefs from those around them – in order to prevent detection.

And he said: “We must work more at protecting so-called easy targets. Bollards and the re-designing of pedestrian streets are necessary. There is a clear effect of imitation in terrorism, and it seems clear that something like Barcelona will happen again.”

Mr de Kerchove said European security services had “dismantled cells, destroyed plans, arrested people. Spain has arrested 51 jihadis so far this year. In 2016, 69, in 2015, 75.”

He added: “This is a generational problem. It will take time, decades, it won’t be resolved in months.”

The official said to date there have been no recorded cases of cyberterrorism, “in the sense of penetrating or intending to penetrate the systems of nuclear power stations, prisons, electrical stations or aerospace”.

But he added: “I would not be surprised if in the next five years it happens. Not that it works but that they try. One should not underestimate the potential of Islamic State.

“At the moment they don’t have the knowledge for this. But in the dark net you can find system vulnerabilities for sale. Or they can buy the services of Russian hackers, because they have money.””

  4. Judge Orders Muslim Convert to Stand: ‘This is Not a Court of Religion’ (breitbart, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/08/31/judge-orders-muslim-convert-stand-non-religious-court/

“A man accused of preaching strict sharia law on London’s Oxford Street has been ordered to stand in court by a judge after saying he only answered to Allah.

Appearing at Southwark Crown Court, Ricardo McFarlane told the usher he would not stand for “any man”, The Times reports.

When Judge Martin Beddoe entered the court and noticed Mr. McFarlane had remained seated in the dock, he told him to get up, adding: “This is not a court of religion.”

Mr. McFarlane, a former associate of convicted Islamic State recruiter Anjem Choudary, was given an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) in 2014 for threatening non-Muslims as part of a self-styled Muslim patrol gang.

The ASBO banned him from approaching members of the public “in order to promote sharia law”, and he was appearing in court after being accused of breaching it by campaigning in central London.

The 30-year-old is alleged to have set up a stall outside the flagship Topshop on Oxford Street, on March 25, 2016, along with 20 other men, to call for strict Islamic laws to be implemented across the UK.

The judge explained: “If Mr. McFarlane isn’t going to treat this court with respect then I might have to deal with him differently than to release him on bail,” before a break in proceedings.

Roy Hedlam, defending, replied: “Because of his religious belief he believes there is only one person who he should bow to.”

Judge Beddoe continued: “That is as may be, but this isn’t a court of religion, this is a secular court and it expects to be treated with respect. That isn’t in breach of any religious principles I’m aware of.”

Mr. McFarlane relented and stood up in the dock while the judge was speaking, prompting him to say: “He’s very kindly standing up for me because I’m about to go.””

    • “Because of his religious belief he believes there is only one person who he should bow to.”

There is no man you should bow down to, Good or Bad. They all make mistakes where the first covers resentment with pride and envy, the second repents and finds the truth that sets them free.

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pakistan-court-convicts-policemen-bhuttos-murder-case-49534913

“A prosecutor says a Pakistani court has sentenced two former police officers to 17 years in prison for failing to provide adequate security to assassinated former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in 2007.

Khawaja Imtiaz says the anti-terrorism court also acquitted five suspected militants of aiding the attacker who assassinated Bhutto in a bomb and gun attack.

Imtiaz said the court declared former President Pervez Musharraf an absconder and ordered his property seized for not appearing in the court. He had been accused of conspiracy in Bhutto’s death.

Musharraf was president when Bhutto was assassinated during an election rally in the city of Rawalpindi. He resigned in 2008 after Bhutto’s party came into power and left Pakistan to avoid arrest. He currently lives in London.”

  8. Russia security agency uncovers IS attack plot, detains 2 (abcnews, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/russia-security-agency-uncovers-attack-plot-detains-49536428

“Russia’s top domestic security said Thursday it has detained two suspects from ex-Soviet Central Asia accused of plotting attacks on civilians in Moscow on behalf of the Islamic State group.

The Federal Security Service, or FSB, said the suspects were preparing to launch the attacks on Friday, the beginning of the school year in Russia.

The agency said one of the suspects was planning to carry out a suicide bombing. It said a powerful homemade explosive device was found at his apartment.

Another man was preparing to attack civilians with an ax and put out a video statement pledging adherence to the IS. The suspect had contacted IS recruiters and received instructions from the group, the FSB said.

Earlier this month, the FSB arrested four suspects accused of planning suicide bombings on Moscow’s transit system and shopping malls.

In May, the FSB arrested another group of suspected IS members who were also accused of plotting terror attacks in the Russian capital.

The arrests follow a suicide bombing in the St. Petersburg’s subway that left 16 dead and wounded more than 50 in April.

President Vladimir Putin said in April that some 9,000 militants, about half of them from Russia and the rest from ex-Soviet Central Asian nations, have joined the Islamic State in Syria.

Putin has said that a key goal for the Russian military campaign in Syria is to destroy the militants there and prevent them from coming back home.”

The injured include the bus driver and six people who worked at Izmir’s maximum security Buca prison.

Izmir governor Erol Ayyildiz said one person was hospitalized but none of the injuries was life threatening, according to the country’s official Anadolu news agency.

  10. Swiss court: Eritrean vets can be expelled if asylum fails (abcnews, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/swiss-court-eritrean-vets-expelled-asylum-fails-49537045

“A Swiss federal court has ruled that Eritrean asylum-seekers who completed military service in the East African country can legally be sent home if their asylum cases are rejected in Switzerland.

The ruling by the federal administrative court in St. Gallen could have sweeping implications for thousands of Eritreans who make up the largest pool of asylum-seekers in Switzerland by nationality.

Many were once required to serve in Eritrea, whose government has faced criticism by human rights advocates over its harsh conscription laws.

In a summary of the Aug. 17 verdict made public Thursday, the court said that because such veterans had completed their service — as opposed to deserters — they “won’t necessarily expect to be summoned again for national service or punished criminally upon return to the country.””

  11. Rogue vehicle gets too close to Trump’s motorcade

An online video has surfaced purportedly showing a vehicle attempting to “ram” President Trump’s motorcade in Missouri, but
officials said the incident was simply a case of malfunctioning brakes.

The two-minute YouTube clip shows the beginning of the presidential motorcade cruising down Kearney Street in Springfield on Wednesday when suddenly a white car appears out of a wooded area and veers off to the side of the road.

“Oh my gosh! Look at that car that just came out of the woods!” the man filming the video can be heard saying.

Another man remarks, “What the hell just happened here?”

The group of men watching the incident can then be seen trying to alert security before a car in the motorcade pulls over and three people inside approach the driver.

“Somebody’s going to jail,” one of the men can be heard saying in the video, which is titled: “Vehicle attempts to ram Presidential Motorcade in Springfield, MO.”

The Springfield Police Department commented on the incident on Twitter, saying: “No intent of harm or disruption to motorcade,” and that the driver simply had a problem with her brakes, according to Ozarks First.

Trump traveled to Missouri on Wednesday to tout his tax reform plan.

Britain’s first openly gay Muslim drag queen Asifa Lahore advocated for veganism on the Muslim religious holiday Eid al-Adha, when she delivered the mayor of London a hamper packed full of vegan delights to his office in City Hall, Thursday.

Lahore called on Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to promote veganism amongst British Muslims outside of City Hall in London. “Eid al-Adha is a holy time of sacrifice and generosity to friends, family, and those in need,” said Lahore. “And none are more in need of our help and kindness than animals, which is why PETA and I encourage everyone, including Mayor Khan, to celebrate Eid with vegan foods and to invite friends and neighbours to share in the festivities.”

  15. ‘Silent majority’ needs to be heard in wake of Quebec car torching, says Imam

The recent torching of a car belonging to the leader of the Quebec City mosque where six worshippers were killed in January suggests a small minority remains committed to dividing Quebec society, says a prominent Imam.

Hassan Guillet caught the world’s attention with his address at the funeral last February for three of the mosque shooting victims — Ibrahima Barry, Mamadou Tanou Barry and Azzeddine Soufiane.

In light of the torching of the car of Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre president Mohamed Labadi, Guillet said the act is a clear reminder that some Quebecers continue to oppose his call that day for acceptance, compassion and love.

“It is a very, very tiny minority that is trying to poison our society, put fire in the society,” he said. “It’s bad for everybody — yes, the direct victims are the Muslims at that mosque, but the real victim is our values as Quebecers, as Canadians, as a human being.”

Accordingly, he said the silent majority of Quebecers, who are “good-intentioned people, honest people,” have to break their silence and speak out.

“The only voices we hear are the xenophobe voices, the Islamophobe voices, the racist voices, so somebody looking at our society from the outside might think that we are all racist and we all reject each other and we all plan to kill each other, and this is not the case,” he said.

“This is why I appeal to every citizen in Quebec to be vocal on social media, in the media, on the phone, in our work, our universities, in our lives to say, ‘No, no, these xenophobes don’t represent us.'”

Politicians, media have key roles to play

Guillet said politicians and the media also have key roles to play in helping Quebec society silence such hatred once and for all.

“Politicians should weigh every word they say,” he said. “When it comes to politicking or fighting about one issue or another, these politicians should be very, very careful because even if they don’t do bad things themselves, certain people might misinterpret certain positions and declarations and take it to the extreme.”

As for the media, Guillet said its members have to remember that “words are important.”

“Words can help build, and they can help destroy,” he said.

He said he’s seen a “positive trend” in media discourse since the mosque shootings, and that’s a welcome development.
“We did not solve all the issues, but I’m seeing what’s going on in the media and it’s a good trend,” he said.

  16. Germany: FM Gabriel criticises anti-globalist economic policies at Berlin conference

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel spoke to an audience in Berlin, on Thursday, on issues of global development and globalisation.

Giving a speech, before a panel discussion, Gabriel acknowledged that globalisation has not been necessarily well received by all US and European citizens. He used the examples of the 2016 election of US President Donald Trump, standing on a platform of protecting American jobs from outsourcing and migration, as well as the UK’s referedum to withdraw from the European Union, “The perception of globalisation has long changed, at least for us in Europe and also in the USA,” Gabriel said, “But we only first really noticed this with Brexit in Europe and the vote for Donald Trump, where the voice of those has become even louder who say things as they are now cannot continue.”

  17. CANADA – The non-exile of Liberal MP Darshan Kang, alleged sexual harasser

In a world sugar-saturated in political correctness, it is difficult to condemn Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for deciding not to boot Liberal MP Darshan Kang from caucus in the wake of sexual-harassment allegations that purportedly involve $100,000 in hush money.

It is difficult for two reasons.

One, the accusations facing Kang, which he denies, are thus far only allegations, not that this has ever bothered Trudeau in the past.

And, two, calls for Kang’s ouster will invariably invoke cries of racism from the progressive crowd because Kang is not white.

But, if he were white, like former Liberal MPs Scott Andrews and Massimo Pacetti (who both denied wrongdoing), would he have got the boot like they did in 2015 when Trudeau was leader of the third party, and they were accused of sexual improprieties involving two NDP MPs?

And, if Trudeau were to show any compassion for anyone, one would have thought it would have been extended to former fisheries minister Hunter Tootoo, who was blocked from returning to caucus last year when he resigned from cabinet to seek treatment for alcoholism, and it was later discovered he had a sexual relationship with a female staffer.

The Trudeau Liberals, after all, are supposed to be more attuned to the intergenerational trauma suffered by our Indigenous brothers and sisters, the undeniable curse of oblivion-seeking alcoholism, and the resultant bad behaviours that often accompany it.

But Tootoo got no compassion whatsoever from the Trudeau overseers, just the proverbial kick in the ass with a frozen mukluk and banishment back to Nunavut.

So why has Calgary MP Darshan Kang, 66, escaped immediate exile from the Liberal caucus?

Is it because the federal Liberals have only four seats in Alberta, and therefore each is too vital to let moral standards apply? Or is it because Kang is a visible minority, and important to holding on to the large and growing Indo-Sikh voting bloc of nearly 500,000?

On Monday, Trudeau said his government has created new processes to deal with misconduct and harassment allegations regarding our country’s parliamentarians, and that Kang’s case is now before the House of Commons’ human resources office for investigation.

“I can assure people that our whip’s office and the human resources of the Parliament of Canada are engaged, as they must be, in this process,” said Trudeau. “And I have no further comment to make at this time on the independent process that is being undergone.”

This, of course, is too little too late for the already pilloried Scott Andrews and Massimo Pacetti, and certainly too late for Hunter Tootoo who got nary a shred of understanding, despite being Indigenous.

But the timing is perfect for Kang.

Kang, meanwhile, has gone to ground, claiming the stress of the allegations he faces has forced him to take a medical leave of absence.

The allegations are certainly not trivial.

As first reported on Aug. 11 in the Hill Times, a political weekly widely circulated on Parliament Hill, the sexual impropriety of which Kang stands accused involves a now 24-year-old woman who worked at Kang’s Calgary office for four years, and for a week on Parliament Hill.

According to the Times, when Kang got wind that the employee was threatening to go to her immediate boss to lay out her allegations of sexual harassment, repeated offers to hush money came to the fore.

It allegedly started with $5,000, and incrementally grew to $100,000.

The bribery allegations take it to a new level, of course.

But due process first — which is a new concept in the former zero-tolerance world of Justin Trudeau when it comes to sexual harassment.

    Perhaps it is colour coded.

Four US F-35B fighter jets joined two US B-1B bombers and four South Korean F-15 fighter jets in the joint military operation

THE US staged its own terrifying show of strength today by dropping huge bombs near the North Korean border – days after Kim Jong-un’s latest missile outrage.

Four US F-35B fighter jets joined two nuclear-ready US B-1B bombers and four South Korean F-15 fighter jets in the joint military operation over the troubled Korean Peninsula.

The rogue state described the drills – which saw target bombing close to its border – as the “rash act” of a desperate nation.

  20. Pyongyang ‘sentences’ four S.Korean journalists to death

    By Afp

Pyongyang has sentenced four South Korean journalists to death for book reviews that insulted the North, state media said Thursday.

The Chosun Ilbo and the Dong-A Ilbo, both of them conservative newspapers, reviewed the new Korean edition of “North Korea Confidential”, a book by two Seoul-based British journalists first published in 2015.

The work details the growing role of the market in daily lives in the North, where South Korean television dramas are circulated on the black market, and fashion items and hairstyles from the South are copied.

Those caught in possession of DVDs or USBs containing South Korean TV dramas can bribe their way out of any trouble, it says.

    • China Criticizes U.S. Push For New Sanctions On N. Korea

China’s foreign ministry is criticizing the U.S. over its push to impose tougher sanctions on North Korea.

Officials in Beijing oppose the practice of unilateral sanctions, and what it calls “long-arm jurisdiction” in agreement of one country’s domestic law.

China also called for earnest, comprehensive, and thorough implementation of the existing U.N. Security Council resolutions.

“We think it is regrettable that some countries selectively overlook the relevant Security Council resolutions’ demand to advance dialogue, and stubbornly emphasize pressure and sanctions, said Hua Chunying, a spokeswomen for the Chinese foreign ministry. “They are always holding back China’s efforts to promote dialogue, and making irresponsible remarks every time there is renewed tension on the peninsula.”

China expressed hope all sides in the ongoing crisis will make rational and wise choices for the sake of peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

The 22-year-old man suspected of shooting five middle-aged white men since last year — including four on south Kansas City walking trails — threatened in 2014 to shoot up a school and “kill all white people,” according to court records.

Fredrick Demond Scott, who was charged Tuesday in two killings and named as a suspect in three more, made those statements in January 2014 at Center Alternative School, as documented in a municipal citation for harassment.

Scott, who is black, has been charged with murder in the deaths of Steven Gibbons, 57, and John Palmer, 54. On Tuesday, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced those charges, also naming Scott as a suspect in the killings of David Lenox, 67; Timothy S. Rice, 57, of Excelsior Springs; and Mike Darby, 61, co-owner of Coach’s Bar & Grill at 103rd Street and Wornall Road.

  22. SPLC Says Army Bases Are Confederate Monuments That Need To Come Down

The Southern Poverty Law Center has declared three of America’s largest Army bases Confederate monuments “with the potential to unleash more turmoil and bloodshed” if activists don’t “take down” the Army bases.

The SPLC included Fort Hood in Texas, Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Fort Benning in Georgia on a list of 1,500 “Confederate monuments” that the SPLC claims could inspire more violence like what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia last month. All three bases are named after Confederate military leaders.

The list makes no mention of renaming namesakes of Confederate monuments; taking the monuments down is presented as the only option. The recent leftist campaign against Confederate namesakes and monuments has included a willingness among some far-left actors to destroy government property to accomplish their goals

  23. US shutters Russia’s San Francisco consulate in retaliation

WASHINGTON (AP) — In an escalating tit-for-tat, the United States forced Russia on Thursday to shutter its consulate in San Francisco and scale back its diplomatic presence in Washington and New York, as relations between the two former Cold War foes continued to unravel.

The Trump administration said the move constituted its response to the Kremlin’s “unwarranted and detrimental” decision to force the U.S. to cut its diplomatic staff in Russia. Under the order, Russia must close its San Francisco consulate by Saturday, along with Russia’s “chancery annex” in Washington and a “consular annex” in New York.

  24. The Militarization of the Hamptons
Why is a heavily armed counterterrorism force patrolling the parties of the rich and famous

A few weeks ago, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival held one of its occasional outdoor concerts at a nearby Long Island winery. It was well attended — 400 concertgoers came to sip wine and listen to the music of Bach and Django Reinhardt — but that wasn’t a surprise: Now in its 34th year, the music festival is one of the mainstays of the Hamptons summer season.

Here’s what was surprising, according to my friend and former New York Times colleague Susan Lehman, who was there: “Driving in,” she emailed me the other day, “it was impossible not to notice two figures with the word POLICE emblazoned in white on their spruce black costumes, and very noticeable automatic weapons in their hands.” She added that while the musicians were on stage, “two armed guards milled around in the open space in the front of the tent where the concert was being held.” Afterward, when someone inquired about the presence of these heavily armed

Imran Awan’s still-active email address is linked to the name of a House staffer who specializes in intelligence and homeland security matters for Indiana Democratic Rep. André Carson. Court documents and emails obtained by TheDCNF show Awan used the address 12*@********se.gov in addition to his standard im********@********se.gov account.

  27. In obvious tactical move, Iran ferries ISIS fighters to heart of Iranian land bridge into Syria
    By J.E. Dyer August 30, 2017

Since 2014, Iran has been taking advantage of the “fight against ISIS” to move Iranian and Iranian-backed forces into Iraq and Syria.

The campaign, spearheaded by Qods force commander Qassem Soleimani, began with Diyala Province in eastern Iraq, and has spread through central Iraq to Tikrit, Fallujah, and Ramadi. The campaign also involved a thrust into northern Iraq through As Sulaymaniyah to Mosul. (See links below.)

In Syria, the Russian- and Iran-backed campaign to retake Syrian territory from anti-regime forces began in earnest about 11 months ago, with a concentrated initiative launched in late September and early October of 2016. Little of the opposition in western Syria, where the campaign started, involved ISIS.

CONFIRMED: Comey Decided He Wasn’t Going to Refer Hillary For Prosecution Long Before FBI Investigation Was Over

According to new transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday afternoon, former FBI Director James Comey made the decision not to refer then Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for prosecution long before ever interviewing key witnesses. Members of the Committee allege Comey made the decision months before FBI agents were finished with the criminal investigation into her mishandling of classified information during her time as Secretary of State.

The transcripts were revealed in a letter sent to current FBI Director Christopher Wray, in which lawmakers are demanding an explanation and more documents surrounding the case.

  30. Trump’s Presidential Grace and Class in Texas
Yet Fake News critics pounce on his every step — as if each one is an impeachable offense.

President Trump’s visit to flooded parts of southern Texas went off without a hitch yet he has been besieged with scathing attacks by rabid left-wingers and their media allies desperate to find fault with him and treat his every action as a crazed assault on the time-honored political norms of the country.

Despite what you may have seen on CNN or heard on NPR, from this writer’s perch, Trump did more or less everything right. The trip, which didn’t take Trump into devastated Houston proper, was ordinary and comforting. In a word it was presidential. The president wasn’t there to rescue babies or house pets from flood zones – he was there to reassure the victims of Hurricane Harvey and let the nation know that the dire situation there was being handled properly, which, apparently, it is. Federal aid is flowing to the region, he said.

The visit to stricken areas was what one political junky called Trump’s first “natural disaster test.” He passed.

  31. Dem Election Official Admits Non-Citizens Vote
    August 31, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

A lot of voter fraud takes place in places where it doesn’t really matter. Ot doesn’t matter nearly as much.

And then there’s Broward County in Florida.

Broward County has certain electoral irregularities. Like the oldest voters on the planet.

Broward County, which has the highest number of Democratic voters in the state, has thousands of people over the age of 100 on its roll, and some as old as 130.

In 2015, in studying Broward County voter data collected by the Election Assistance Commission, the Public Interest Legal Foundation found that at the time of the 2014 midterm elections, 103 percent of citizens of voting age in the county were registered to vote — an impossibility, of course. Four years earlier, in 2010, 106 percent of citizens of voting age in Broward County were registered to vote.

  33. SPLC Warns of ‘Turmoil and Bloodshed’ With New Map Identifying Confederate Monuments, Cities, MIDDLE SCHOOLS

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a far-left outfit that labels mainstream conservative organizations “hate groups” and whose “hate map” inspired a terrorist attack in 2012, has released a map of every Confederate monument in America. But the map does not just include statues: it also lists towns, cities, counties, and even middle schools that bear the names of Confederate generals.

“More than 1,500 Confederate monuments stand in communities like Charlottesville with the potential to unleash more turmoil and bloodshed,” the SPLC posted with the map (emphasis added). “It’s time to take them down” (emphasis original).

The post urges visitors to send a letter to the editor of their local newspaper. “White supremacists incited deadly violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last week in defense of a Confederate monument. We must show the country that [your city’s or county’s name] gives no safe harbor to such hatred. We must remove the monument at [location],” the sample letter read.

  34. Has France Been Bought by a State Sponsor of Islamic Terrorism?

    by Drieu Godefridi
    August 31, 2017 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10911/france-qatar

The state of Qatar has been officially labelled as a “state sponsor of terrorism”, and an active supporter of Islamic terrorist organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and the Islamic State — not by Western governments, but by Saudi Arabia, the cradle of Islamic faith, and the other Islamic regimes of the region.

Knowing the facts of Qatar — 11000km2, one-third the size of Belgium, population 2.5 million — the question may seem far-fetched: How could France, the great France, possibly be bought by a tiny state such as Qatar?

  35. Four out of five Britons demand action as a million illegal immigrants ‘go missing’ (express, Aug 31, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/848612/illegal-immigrants-uk-home-office-government-department-migration-watch

“BRITAIN is probably home to more than one million illegal immigrants who may never be found, experts warned last night.

The number includes those who were smuggled into the UK or entered on false papers, those overstaying their visas and failed asylum seekers who disappear.

Eight in 10 people believe the Government should take stronger measures over illegal migration, according to a British Social Attitudes poll.

Alp Mehmet, of Migration Watch UK, said: “We have long pointed to the likelihood of something in excess of a million illegal immigrants here. We have no reason to change that view.

“Indeed, it is a figure that has been supported by a former head of the UK Border Agency as well as the former head of Home Office enforcement.”

Until 2005 the Government insisted no estimate was possible.

But a year later a Home Office report estimated there were 430,000 in the UK.

In 2009 the London School of Economics suggested it totalled 618,000.

Last year one migrant was caught trying to sneak in every 10 minutes. Official data showed 56,132 attempts.

It relates to the number intercepted by Border Force but no one knows how many made it here undetected.

The Home Office said: “It is harder than ever before for those with no right to be here to remain in the UK. Whether it is working, renting a property, opening a bank account or driving a car, we can now take tougher action on those who flout the law.””

  36. CIA sneak undetectable ‘malicious’ implants onto Windows OS – WikiLeaks (RT, Aug 31, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/401568-cia-hacks-angelfire-wikileaks/

“Windows machines are targeted by the CIA under ‘Angelfire,’ according to the latest release from WikiLeaks’ ‘Vault7’ series. The documents detail an implant that can allow Windows machines to create undetectable libraries.

‘Angelfire’ consists of five components – ‘Solartime,’‘Wolfcreek,’ ‘Keystone,’ ‘BadMFS,’ and the ‘Windows Transitory File system,’ according to a statement from WikiLeaks released on Thursday.

‘Solartime’ modifies the partition boot sector of Windows XP or Windows 7 machines when installed, allowing the ‘Wolfcreek’ implant to load and execute. ‘Wolfcreek’ can then load and execute other ‘Angelfire’ implants.

Previously known as ‘MagicWand,’ ‘Keystone’ loads malicious user applications on the machine which never touch the file system, leaving “very little forensic evidence that the process ever ran” according to WikiLeaks.

‘BadMFS’ is described as a library which stores all drivers and implants that ‘Wolfcreek’ can activate. In some versions it can be detected, but in most it’s encrypted and obfuscated, making it undetectable to string or PE header scanning, used to detect malware.

‘Windows Transitory File system’ is used to install ‘AngelFire,’ according to the release, allowing the addition or removal of files from it.

WikiLeaks says the leaked ‘Vault 7’ documents came from within the CIA, which has in turn refused to confirm their authenticity. Previous releases include details on CIA hacking tools used to weaponize mobile phones, compromize smart TVs and the ability to trojan the Apple OS.”

Tahar Benslimane told a local radio station that a 23-year-old man fired at police officers guarding the headquarters in the city of Tiaret on Thursday as he tried to enter the building and set off his explosive device.

Benslimane said that one of the policemen had time to shoot back and kill the attacker before dying himself from his wounds. Another policeman was killed.

The official said the policeman’s efforts “managed to avoid a carnage” by preventing the suicide bomber from entering the police headquarters.
