Firefighters were called to Trinity Baptist Church on Appleby Line, north of the 407, just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Pictures posted online show that the church was also vandalized. Graffiti spray painted on the side of the 126 year old building spelled out ‘ISIS’ and ‘ISIS will remai[n]’.

(Tempted to say its kids. ISIS isn’t what one might think Muslims would tag the Church with.)

  1. Now that Trudeau has invited all the garbage into Canada and allowed Canadian jihadis to return to Canada, they feel emboldened to spread their hate and to terrorize the country. It’s a repeat of Europe. The more chaos, the more restrictions are put on the people and the more freedoms Canadians lose until the liberal government has total and complete control of every word and movement they make. Good luck Canada. You voted the idiot in. Coudenhove-Kalergi happening right before our eyes.

    • Referring to refugees as garbage is single handedly the most un-Canadian thing you could say, you don’t like “garbage” coming here then see yourself out. Period.

  2. Will it take a politicians family to be murdered by Muslims for them “ALL” to be expelled from the country?

  3. No doubt, if something similar were done to a mosque, it would be all over Canadian media with commentators and Trudeau painting Canadians as racists. Things are really upside-down.

  4. Clearly this was some idiots idea of a good time, Do you really think that actual terrorists would spray paint their name on a burnt church, furthermore what good does it do anyone to condemn refugee’s, the only people that aren’t guests in this great country are First Nations People everyone else is here because their Parents/Grandparents/Great Grandparents came here at some point from you guessed it..a foreign land!! Take your intolerance and shove it, Canada is an inclusive, beautiful country and we don’t have room for intolerance.

    • Personally I think it was kids. But I also know that Muslim groups do take ‘credit’ for some of these acts, as that is the whole point of terrorism. And no, Amerindians are no more native to Canada than someone else born here to parents born here. If you examine real history of the Amerindians, you will find the committed genocide against each other on a tribal basis on a very regular basis.

So get off the high horse about guest. Anyone who is a citizen and believes in the values of Canada is a citizen. Anyone who comes here intending to destroy the nation state of Canada is a problem. That, includes our current PM.
