5. Four stabbed during ‘major incident’ at hospital – 20 people involved in brawl
The incident occurred at Harnosand Hospital in Sweden and involved around 20 people.
Police were called to the hospital’s kitchen at around 4.30pm local time (3.30pm BST).
Two people were treated in hospital. Two other suffered minor injuries.
Police said one of those injured was in a managerial role at the hospital.
A police statement said: “We received a call about 20 people at the Harnosand Hospital’s kitchen.
“At least two people have a knife cut with injuries of unknown severity.”

Well, fecking DUH!!!
Where else were they going to treat the victims? P’rhaps take them down to the local IKEA store for some meatball therapy and lingnonberry dressings?
1 – Should we do this,?NO. Will we do this? YES. Will this lead to genetically engineered humans trying to take over as the natural aristocrats? YES, after all they are going to be humans with all of our attitudes good and bad.
When one nation embarks into any type of scientific research their political rivals and enemies have to follow in that reserch our of self defense. The video is talking about creating designer babies but equally troubling is the research into modifying adult humans. The research into restoring our bodies to youthful bodies is proceeding in fits and spurts but side research into providing the newly young with stronger muscles, faster reflexes, better eye sight and possibly higher IQs is also occurring. If WWIII lasts as long as I think it will genetically engineered babies and reworked adults will happen in all nations as they continue to fight for survival.
If the current research into new space drives both normal space and FTL drives succeeds we may end up engineering new sub species of the human race to allow them to survive on alien planets.
The genie of scientific advancement has been let out of the bottle/lantern and is going to refuse to go back inside. Like it or not we or our descendants are going to live in a world where it is possible. And if it is possible it will be done, in fact more will be done then talked about in the video. A wart was removed from Elvis and is now owned by a club of female Elvis fans, they are planning on cloning Elvis once the technology gets good enough. How many scientists and celebrities will be cloned? How many of those clones will they “improve” to make them more like what the person ordering the clone thinks they should have been?

Seriously, so much subconscious gene selection probably goes on in our daily lives–now we have the technology to make more conscious decisions beyond crop and animal growing…for better or worse. Like Richard says if we can we will.
