A man has been arrested after allegedly slitting a woman’s throat in a busy shopping centre car park this morning.
Police rushed to the scene near an Odeon cinema at Dockside outlet centre in Chatham, Kent, following reports of a ‘serious assault’.
The attack is believed to be a domestic incident.
The man is said to have shut his partner in his car before attacking her at around 11am.

Eyewitnesses claim to have seen a man in a white vest ‘covered in blood’ who was handcuffed and bundled into a police car after the heroic efforts of other shoppers.
An eyewitness, Michelle Hextall, told Express.co.uk how the woman – covered in blood – was honking the horn in a desperate bid to get attention.
She said: “The woman was screaming and bibbing the horn to get attention.
Stabbed in the neck is our clue though. Its still very likely a Muslim. It may be sharia related, rather than political/terror is all.
