  1. Minnesota: Terror Recruiting Capital

    Terror Recruiting

Minnesota, home to the largest Somali immigrant population in the U.S., has been an active target for terror recruiters, from Al-Shabaab – the al-Qaeda-affiliate in Somalia – to Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL).

    They have, unfortunately been successful.

Somali terror recruiters first lured 20 men beginning in 2007. The effort continues through the present day, with authorities estimating between 50 and 60 Somalis have tried to leave Minnesota to join terror groups (a dozen have successfully joined ISIS in Syria). Most recently, nine young Somali men were arrested and convicted in Minnesota for trying to join ISIS.

  2. Germany: Anti-sex education protesters march in Wiesbaden

Around 500 “Demo fuer Alle” (Demo for All) protesters marched in Wiesbaden, Sunday, to oppose what they see as “gender ideology and the sexualisation of children” in German schools.

Addressing the crowd, one of the protesters, father-of-five Johannes Ehmarfeld, said that “I am afraid to send my children to school. My children come home and are confused; they come with shocking ideas and thoughts.”

SOT, Johannes Ehmarfeld, protester (German): “I am afraid to send my children to school. My children come home and are confused, they come with shocking ideas and thoughts, and that in an age where they could be engaged with all other things, with so many beautiful, good things, with so many thing to do and see. The sex, excuse me, is too early and wrong at that moment.”

  3. Tales of Radical Islam in Virginia

Virginia has seen many different instances of radical Islam within its borders. Here are some of the most egregious.

    The Dar al-Hijrah Mosque.

The Dar al-Hijrah (DAH) Mosque was co-founded by a Hamas operative by the name of Ismail Elbarasse. He was assistant to senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzook.

In 2002 a Customs and Border Protection document states that DAH is “operating as a front for Hamas operatives in U.S.” A December 2007 document says it “has been linked to numerous individuals linked to terrorism financing” and “has also been associated with encouraging fraudulent marriages.”

Al-Qaeda ideologue Anwar al-Awlaki was imam of DAH from 2001 to 2002. Two of the 9/11 hijackers attended his sermons, as well as Nidal Hassan, who carried out a shooting at Fort Hood in 2009. Awlaki was killed in a U.S. drone strike in 2011 in Yemen.

  4. Radical Islam in Florida

2007: A collection of secularist and reformist Muslims, including Irshad Manji, Tawfik Hamid, Ibn Warraq, Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi and Ayaan Hirsi Ali met in St Petersburg Florida. Their conference, the Secular Islam Summit, called for a separation of sharia and state, an end to apostasy and blasphemy laws, equality for men and women and opening up traditional Islam to modern critical study.

The Muslim Brotherhood linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) met the same weekend to denounce the Secular Islam Summit. They accused the summit of Islamophobia, on the grounds that the Muslims in attendance were not Muslim enough to be regarded as legitimate critics of Islam, despite having come from Muslim backgrounds.

In a publicized rebuttal to the conference, CAIR blamed “the unchallenged growth of Islamophobia” and “the development of a veritable cottage industry of neo-experts pontificating about the cause-effect relationship between Islam and terrorism, despite scholarly research debunking this as myth” for “this pernicious idea of reforming Islam by asking Muslims to abandon their faith.”

The conference, organized by the Center for Inquiry, was hailed as a “landmark” by Bret Stephens of the Wall Street Journal,

  5. Special Counsel Must Prove Integrity by Investigating Leaks from Deep State

If Special Counsel Robert Mueller takes his job seriously, he will make an all-out effort to identify and prosecute the Deep State bureaucrats responsible for criminally leaking information against President Trump. If not, Mueller will prove that he has chosen sides, lining up with those determined to overturn the 2016 presidential election by removing Trump from office, or at least weakening him so that he cannot govern.

These leaks cannot be excused as helpful “whistleblower” revelations. What they revealed was already available to the FBI agents conducting the investigation. The sole purpose of going public through the leaks was to harm President Trump. Only information which could be made to look unfavorable to Trump was leaked. Furthermore, the leakers often provided false information. Even former FBI Director James Comey testified that leakers were not telling the truth when they claimed that the Trump campaign had had extensive contacts with Russians, and when they denied that Comey had assured the President that he was not being investigated. The sensational charge that Comey was fired because he wanted more money for the investigation has also been quietly dropped after FBI and Justice Department officials denied it.

Investigating leaks would be nothing new for a special counsel. During the Bush administration, a special counsel was appointed for the specific purpose of finding out who in the administration had leaked information about a CIA operative. Are leakers only to be sought out if their unmasking is expected to harm a Republican president, but protected when those leakers are undermining a Republican president?

Mueller certainly has a special reason to go after the leakers since they have now begun to provide confidential information about his own investigation. Woodward and Bernstein were threatened with prosecution when they attempted to generate leaks from a grand jury during Watergate. Surely Mueller’s investigation deserves the same level of protection as a grand jury.

  6. What Sharia Prescribes: Same as the Ten Commandments?

    by Nonie Darwish
    June 25, 2017 at 5:00 am

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, of the “Ground Zero mosque”, once again wrote a deeply inaccurate article reprimanding Americans for their supposedly “right-wing caricature” of Islamic law, sharia, which he insists is not a threat to American law. In his recent article “The silly American fear of sharia law”, he denied that sharia is incompatible with US laws and the constitution. Oh, really?

Imam Rauf tries to blame sharia’s amputation and stoning on Biblical Law:

“Sharia is not about amputations and stoning. These extreme punishments carry over from earlier, biblical law” and “Within the history of Islam, they have rarely occurred. What Islamic law does prescribe are the same do’s [sic] and don’ts of the Ten Commandments.”

Imam Rauf’s article is, to say the least, misleading — especially regarding the Ten Commandments. Sharia is not only incompatible with Western legal system but is the direct opposite of Western values; it has violated all ten of the Ten Commandments.

Editors’ note: To those of you who have enquired, the author is a real man living in the Middle East who sent us these pieces because he is unable to share them with anyone where he lives. At first we tried to tidy up the English, but that seemed to knock much of the soul out of his work. So we made the editorial choice to present his work basically as he sent it; what you are seeing is the result of that choice. It is the way he sees the world from his point of view, unobstructed by editors. Perhaps think of it more as a different kind of article, more as folk art but in words. It is not meant to offend anyone or any religion. It always seemed, living among people from different nations, as if wrongnesses in English were often “righter” than rightnesses. The painter Paul Gauguin reportedly said: “If you see a tree as blue, then make it blue.” We apologize to anyone who may not like these postings. “Those who understand, understand.”

A lot of World Banned Terrorist Organization start for work openly in my Country. One of these World Banned Terrorist Organization Head was just elected Member for Parliament. Other day, a Ambulance come by with mark of Famous World Banned Terrorist Organization that say they collecting fund for Muslims in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. There are two persons one are driving the Ambulance and other one announce in a speaker for Donation. • That editor’s note is post-modern junk.
If the translator is insufficiently skilled, find another one. Don’t waste my patience with your worship of the native’s “soul”.
The Bible and Dante come across more than adequately in translation. Don’t be overly precious about some ‘Anonymous’ in Tardland.

Geez, this editor would probably insist I eat with my hand from the common plate of curried goat-guts. “Doesn’t taste the same on a fork!”

      • Brilliant riposte, yucki! I could not have said it better myself (and it’s not often that I say any such thing).

Please send me a message through Eeyore and I will (privately) prove your point in SPADES. You so deserve this sort of confirmation.

        With great respect,

  8. Illegal Somali Immigrant Awarded Compensation for ‘Unlawful Detention’ Brutally Beats Woman (breitbart, Jun 25, 2017)

“Violent Somali immigrant Abdi Yusuf, who is set to receive compensation from the British government for being “unlawfully detained” whilst awaiting deportation, was jailed in June for beating a woman.

Forty-one-year-old Yusuf, who has a history of violent assault, had been detained following a previous jail term because he was considered at high risk of absconding and reoffending.

But a High Court ruled the migrant was eligible for damages for being detained unlawfully at an immigration removal centre pending deportation. The judge said that much of the time spent in custody awaiting deportation was justified – but the final six months were unlawful.

After being released, the Somalian, who has ten convictions for 20 offences and has served prison sentences for actual and grievous bodily harm, brutally beat a woman, reports The Daily Mail.

The compensation ruling came a few weeks before Yusuf was due at Stratford Magistrates in east London to stand trial for the assault. Yusuf failed to attend the hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The trial went on in his absence and the court heard how Yusuf and his co-accused, Cali Bashir, 48, had beaten the woman.

On a 999 recording, a female university student pleaded with the call handler. “Two men are hitting her,” she said, and described how they they had started undressing her and “pushed her against the railings”.

The student added: “She has got blood on her and one of the men is saying he is going to knock her out. They are saying they are going to kill her.”

The judge described the recording as “the most distressing 999 call I have heard in some time”.

In absentia, Yusuf was found guilty of assault. It was by chance that authorities managed to catch him as he was later arrested over a separate offence a few days later.

Yusuf, who had come to the UK legally in 1989, has been fighting to stay in the UK since completing a four-year jail sentence for assault in 2012, the jail term serving as an automatic trigger for removal of legal status and deportation back to Somaliland.

Scotland Yard said Yusuf was sentenced to six months in prison on the 12th of June, his jail term likely to push his deportation to next year.

This is not the first case of a violent criminals in the country illegally receiving compensation for unlawful detention…”

  9. The Ongoing Drama of Palestinian Lies

To his credit, Abbas has been nothing short of consistent. He has never, ever, displayed a willingness to offer any concessions to Israel. He misses no opportunity to reaffirm his demands to all world leaders and government officials, with whom he meets on a regular basis.

Nonetheless, some in the international community still believe that Abbas or any other Palestinian leader will be able to make concessions in return for peace with Israel.

Incredibly, Kushner and Greenblatt seem to believe that they can succeed where all others have failed.

The two inexperienced US envoys are laboring under the illusion that they will persuade Abbas and the PA leadership to drop demands such as the “right of return,” the release of imprisoned terrorists and a cessation of construction in settlements.

Why President Trump’s envoys are creating the dangerously misleading impression that peace is possible under the current PA leadership is nothing short of a mystery.

Trump DHS chief pushes ‘terrorists corrupting Islam’ line (Some excerpts):

Kelly told the House Homeland Security Committee Thursday that the perpetrators of attacks during the Islamic month of Ramadan have “corrupted” Islam, and he suggested Christian and Jewish beliefs are also causing terrorism, Breitbart reported.

Similarly, President Trump’s national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, told his staff in February that Muslims who commit terrorist acts are “perverting their religion,” the New York Times reported, citing people at the meeting.

“This is not a battle between different faiths, different sects, or different civilizations. This is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life, and decent people of all religions who seek to protect it,” the president said.

Am I the only one who’s sensing a pattern here?

Welcome to the world of American politics corrupted by Ivy League Communists who have been infecting young minds for decades.

Trump’s willingness to allow this sort of idiocy to happen on his watch will taint any legacy he hopes to create. Not even a superpower like America can possibly survive this level of willful blindness. With respect to Islam, it is almost as if 0bama never even left office. The same moronic lies and blatant mistruths remain in full effect.

    • These are jerks, military officers who’ve always been political animals. Not every general is an awesome, courageous hero – or tough under fire or a strategic genius.
[Military brass frequent dinner guests at our house. My father’s best friend was a general _THE_ General.]

      They’re not Ivy League.
      You Ivy-League-phobic!

      • You also have two types of soldiers, the warriors and the bureaucrats, during major wars the warriors take over ahd the bureaucrats scream, this is one reason so many Generals talk the small war nation building BS. They are warriors and normally think the warriors are neanderthals who are barely civilized enough to use knifes and forks.
