Is Canada making it easier to attack Christianity?

Canada appears to be getting ready to scrap a blasphemy law. But it is one that specifies ridiculing or defaming Christianity only it appears.

Here is the Wikipedia on it:

Blasphemous libel was originally an offence under the common law of England. Today, it is an offence under the common law of Northern Ireland, it is a statutory offence in Canada and New Zealand, and it has been abolished in England and Wales. It consists of the publication of material which exposes the Christianreligion to scurrility, vilification, ridicule, and contempt, and the material must have the tendency to shock and outrage the feelings of Christians. It is a form of criminal libel.

Now if we combine that with M-103, which actually protects Islam from scurrility, vilification, ridicule, and contempt, are we looking at even a more slippery slope towards Islamic supremacy?

This is not a rhetorical question. If anyone is familiar with this issue, ideally a lawyer, can they please explain how M 103 might become a law after this old one is wiped off the books, and the consequences to freedom of speech after that?

    Absolutely. Furthermore, marginalizing Christianity whilst simultaneously protecting Islam will only send an empowering message to the jihadists. Trudeau is a threat to all Canadians, including its Muslim population, that he continues to selectively embolden such that, one day, they will be the object of righteous and virulent hatred.

      This is the lefts strategy in a nutshell, use the Moslems to destroy the west and then use the hatred of the Moslems that has been created to destroy the Moslems. Personally I think the hatred will peak before the west is destroyed and the resulting explosion will destroy not only the Moslems but most of the leftists.

    Any country that does not apply this principle, is not Christian. Piss Christs are allowed because the creators put hot coals upon their own heads. Stupid is as stupid does. Those who wants to curtail free speech want to control the world.
