Explosion and fire at the Vatican

UPDATE:

It looks like this was at an automotive scrapyard that was in line with the Vatican from certain angles.

The Pope of course, would say that the solution is more muslims and less walls for everyone else.

ITV:

A large plume of smoke has been seen near the Vatican in Rome after reports of an explosion nearby.

The Palazzo Viminale fire department released a video showing its firefighters tackling a large blaze in a junkyard close to the city walls.

They said a building nearby was evacuated as a precautionary measure.

    • Italian Sonny and Cher? I remember busking in the street in a small Fireneza street many moons ago and the local in the apartment above kept throwing water on our heads to shut us up. At least I thought it was water…we were still better than these two.

      • Fireneza? Dear spell check, is that not Italian for nose hair instead of a famous city?

  2. Too bad mass media cannot be depended upon to provide even a slight amount of truth about this incident.

  3. Apparently, it was a vehicle storage area in the neighborhood behind the Vatican. It seems very suspicious that this would happen since it never happened before.
Personally, I wish it would have been in Vatican City. A change of Pope is in dire need.

  4. I think a few thousand copies of the poop´s climate book spontaneously burst into flames after Trump announced the U.S. was leaving the Paris Climate accord.
