    • Imagine if this firm simply didn’t furnish any halal products. Poof! No Muslim lawsuits. No “halal” stickers. No interminable whinging by Islamic troublemakers. Sooner or later Western food outlets will come to realize that this is the most headache-free strategy.

      • Yes. And that is why the governments wont allow it. They will claim it violates their religious rights not to provide whatever the fuck they want in whatever the fuck manner they insist it be delivered, despite the fact it is discriminatory to everyone else.

        So instead, the strategy will be to discourage people from noticing that the entire food chain is halal and to criminalize talking about it as a bad thing via mechanisms like M103 which of course will become C-103, actual legislation.

        Religious or observant Christians are in fact prohibited from eating food consecrated to other gods. But they would NEVER be listened to if they objected to food which is secretly halal in restaurants or in grocery stores.

        When I go to a new restaurant I ask if the food is halal in a tone that suggests I want it to be, When they say yes, I walk out.

        Im pretty sure that will be a crime soon too.

        The capitalist system within a Marxist state like Canada, will force the entire food chain to be Halal because only the muslims care enough to do anything about it.

      Let’s do the math. If Salman Abedi’s views were so repugnant to chairman Abdullah Muhsin Norris, such that Abedi was thrown out, was there something that prevented those same mosque officials from reporting Abedi to the authorities?

      Let’s face this squarely. It’s a relatively safe bet that Abedi wasn’t agitating for any blasphemous (i.e., peaceful) reformation of Koranic doctrine. Ergo, what’s most likely is that Abedi was expressing unacceptably violent views and the mosque threw him out as part of a routine CYA action.

      Knowing that Abedi espoused views which represented a clear and present danger to the general UK population, why did the these mosque officials keep schtum?

      Once again, we see that “moderate Muslims” merely are the ocean in which Islamic terrorists swim. It’s one specific reason why a 100% purge of all Muslims from the West (and elsewhere) remains among the only reliable ways of curtailing jihadist attacks.

The Evergreen State College biology professor Bret Weinstein was targeted by vitriolic and aggressive student protests against him this week after he refused to leave campus during a so-called “Day of Absence.” It was a day in which white people were told to stay away from campus so students of color could have a safe space to powwow and commiserate.

    That observance was in mid-April, but this week massive protests unfolded against Weinstein after students found out about his conscientious objection to the absence day and his refusal to support their demands for racial reparations.

    Videos of these protests show a bunch of mostly white students yelling at this white professor for not leaving campus on the no-whites day. Wrap your head around that.

    Things have quickly escalated. Yesterday Weinstein was forced to hold class off-campus because police say they cannot protect him, he told a local TV news station.

    “A United Arab Emirates government minister on Sunday warned that an alliance of Gulf Arab states was facing a major crisis and he said there was an urgent need to rebuild trust.

    Anwar Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, made his comments on Twitter less than a week after Saudi Arabia and the UAE signaled frustration at Qatar. Its state media published purported remarks by Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani criticizing Gulf rhetoric against Iran and suggesting strains between the emir and U.S. President Donald Trump.

    Tensions have been rising between Iran and its Gulf Arab neighbors, who accuse Tehran of trying to expand its influence in Arab countries including Syria and Yemen.

    Qatar denied making the critical comments, saying its news agency had been hacked, but Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates allowed their state-backed media to continue running the story, angering Doha.

    “The Gulf Cooperation Council countries are passing through a new sharp crisis that carries within it a great danger,” Gargash said. “Fending off sedition lies in changing behavior, building trust and regaining credibility,” he added, without mentioning Qatar by name.

    Gulf countries have made no official comment on the rift, which emerged after Trump’s first visit to Saudi Arabia and his meetings with Arab and Muslim heads of state since he took office. But a war of words had escalated between Qatari media on one side and Saudi and Emirati media on the other.

    The row appears to emanate from old accusations made in 2014 that Qatar backs Islamists outlawed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE as terrorist organizations.

    Ties between Qatar and some of its GCC allies suffered an eight-month breakdown in 2014 over Qatar’s alleged support for the Muslim Brotherhood, the political ideology of which challenges the principle of dynastic rule.

    The rift ended after what diplomats said at the time was a promise by Qatar to the UAE that the Muslim Brotherhood would not be allowed to operate from the country.

    Gargash said that the road to resolving any crisis “between someone and his brothers was to have true intentions, abide by commitments, change the behavior that had caused damage and turn a new page”.

    “Our position and our stability is in our unity and to have honest intentions,” he added.

    Apart from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, the GCC also groups Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

    Earlier in the day, descendents of the founding father of Saudi Arabia’s Wahhabi brand of Islam published a statement in Saudi media distancing themselves from Qatar’s ruling family.

    In the front-page statement, Saudi Arabia’s Okaz newspaper said that 200 descendants of Ibn Abd al-Wahhab demanded the renaming of a Qatar mosque named after the 18th century cleric even though most Qataris practise Wahhabism.

    “We, therefore, demand that the name of the mosque be changed for it does not carry its true Salafi path,” the statement said, according to the Arabic-language Okaz.

    Qatar’s ruling al-Thani family traces its history to Najd, the central and northern part of Saudi Arabia where Ibn Abd al-Wahhab was from.”

    He said at least six policemen lost their lives after one of their comrades having links with the Taliban militants opened fire on them.

    “At least fifty insurgents including four loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during the joint operations of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) personnel, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said Sunday.

    According to a statement by MoD, at least 21 insurgents were also wounded during the operations.
    The statement further added at least 16 of the insurgents were killed during the operations conducted in the outskirts of Tarinkot city, the provincial capital of Uruzgan province and at least three others were wounded while 2 of their hideouts were destroyed.

    At least 12 insurgents were killed in a separate operation conducted in Kunduz province and 4 of them were wounded and 10 hideouts of them were destroyed, MoD said.

    The Afghan forces also conducted operations in Adraskan district of Herat resulting into the elimination of 7 militants while 6 others were wounded, MoD said, adding that 4 ISIS militants were killed in Nazian and Achin districts of Nangarhar.

    MoD also added that 4 militants were killed in a separate operation conducted in Waghez district of Ghazni, 2 were wounded, and three motorcycles belonging to the militants were destroyed.

    At least 7 militants were killed and 6 others were wounded during an operation in Sangin district of Helmand, MoD added.”

    Another suspected militant was arrested in possession of a large sum of money that was to be sent to terrorists, the statement said.

    “The global network of the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) is made up of more than 500 companies, hundreds of foundations and media outlets, and over 1,000 schools across 170 countries, a report by Turkey’s National Intelligence Agency (M?T) has stated.

    The M?T examines FETÖ’s global network and links in a report sent to the parliamentary panel tasked with probing the failed July 2016 coup attempt, staged by military personnel linked with FETÖ.

    According to the report, FETÖ’s started spreading its activities in the international arena in the early 1990s, opening schools in the Turkic countries of Central Asia after the collapse of the Soviet Republic.

    “FETÖ subsequently became an organization operating in 170 countries from the Balkans to the Caucasus, from Central Asia to Europe, from North America to the Far East, from the Middle East to Africa, using the foundation of religion-money-politics. FETÖ also developed links by creating communication with prominent Christian and Jewish religious figures under the title of ‘Interfaith Dialogue,’ especially after Sept. 11,” read the report.

    Hundreds of companies, media outlets

    The M?T report identified a total of 520 companies, 269 foundations, 147 online and offline media outlets, 58 audio-visual media outlets, 252 non-governmental organizations, 327 associations, 216 hospitals, language and culture centers linked to the group around the world. It also noted that the actual numbers were likely to be higher.

    The number of schools – from pre-school to higher education institutions – that FETÖ was identified as having abroad was 767, but actual number is believed to be around 1,000, the M?T stated.

    At first, the group deployed teachers and instructors from Turkey to these schools, after which it began to recruit graduates from these schools. This lowered the ratio of Turkish teachers in these institutions over the years.

    The schools are not categorized under a single title but have used a number of common names like “Horizon,” “Light,” “Rainbow” and “Harmony.”

    Not real teachers

    The M?T report said the teachers appointed to FETÖ schools abroad have duties and responsibilities in addition to teaching, with many operating as “imams” of the country where they are sent, responsible for overseeing the group’s operations in that country. Teachers were tasked with creating good ties with the authorities, following all political, economic and social developments, and exploring new investment areas for the FETÖ businessmen in the countries where they work, it added.

    Germany, Iraq come after US

    The report cited 63 FETÖ-linked schools in Africa, 222 in Asia, 150 in Europe, 315 in North America, seven in South America and 10 in Oceania. In terms of countries the United States comes first with 312 FETÖ-linked schools, Germany second with 32 schools, and Iraq third with 29 schools (including those in the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government). Kazakhstan has 27 FETÖ schools, Kyrgyzstan has 24, Afghanistan has 23, Pakistan has 22, Nigeria has 18, Bosnia Herzegovina has 15, Albania has 14 and Kenya has 12. All other countries have less than 10 FETÖ-linked schools in their territory.

    The report said these schools targets successful students from both the elite and poor segments of society, while providing scholarships to poor but talented students. Around a quarter of students fall into the latter category, the report states.

    FETÖ’s strategy to expand influence

    In order to avoid disclosing its real purpose and agenda, FETÖ has chosen to adopt an apolitical stance, cultivating good relationships with both local and national governments and other authorities in the countries where their schools operate while emphasizing ethics, tolerance, compromise and dialogue.
    It has also been trying to increase its popularity by registering the children of respected and influential families in its schools in order to expand its political, economic and social influence.

    FETÖ adopts new policy

    The M?T report stated that FETÖ’s “real face has become clear” after the July 2016 coup attempt. It added that FETÖ is now “using all the networks it has cultivated over the years” to criticize the Turkish government and to push countries to take a stance against it.

    “They have been sending e-mails and documents to the members of the European Parliament and U.S congressmen, holding meetings with them in a bid to accuse the current Turkish government,” it read.

    FETÖ universities

    The FETÖ-linked universities, departments and positions cited in the report are as follows: International Burch University in Bosnia; International Black Sea University in Georgia, Nile University in Nigeria; Epoka University in Albania, Beder University in Albania; Vistula University in Poland; Wyzsza Szkola Handlovva in Poland; Ish?k University in IKRG; Süleyman Demirel University in Kazakhstan; Caucasus University in Azerbaijan (which was later transferred to the Baku High Petroleum School operated by Socar); Atatürk Ala-Too University in Kyrgyzstan; Centro de Estudios de Turquia – Universidad del Rosario in Colombia; Centro de Estudios de Turquia – Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Colombia; Üniversiteleri, Lumina South Eatern European University in Romania, Zaman University in Cambodia; Turkmen-Turk University in Turkmenistan (nationalized by the state); Fethullah Gülen Chair For Intercultural Studies at Leuvens University in Brussels; Fethullah Gülen Chair at Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic University in Indonesia; Fethullah Gülen Chair at Australia Catholic University; Intercultural Dialogue Chair at Deakin University in Australia.”

    “THE arrests of the two British-born university students in connection with the Manchester bombing has left their friends in shock and disbelief.

    Brothers Yahyah Werfalli, 22, and Mohammed, 20, were arrested early on Saturday morning in Cheetham Hill, Greater Manchester, and were “screaming loudly and crying” as they were led away from their home, according to a neighbour.

    Although they are believed to have moved in the same friendship circles as the “slow and dopey” suicide bomber Salman Abedi, the Werfallis are said to have grown up in a “very nice family”, the Daily Mail reports.

    Mohammed, a second year chemical engineering student at Huddersfield University who also works part-time for Amazon Prime, was described as “quiet and well-mannered”.

    However, his older brother Yahyah, who studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, was said to be more unruly and causing concern to his father who works abroad.

    A source described the siblings as “very intelligent” and studious, adding: “Mohammed in particular is very smart, he was one of the top students in the grammar school.

    “They’ve had a very disciplined upbringing and were not allowed to mess around or anything.

    “They are religious in a way but not extreme. They probably knew Abedi but I can’t see them being involved in something like this. They come from a very nice family.”

    Another friend of the siblings said: “I was shocked beyond belief to hear they had been arrested. Mohamed has always been quiet and humble but Yahya has gone off the rails somewhat in recent years. I don’t know what happened to him.”

    Yahyah is Facebook friends with Salman Abedi’s 20-year-old younger brother Hashim.

    Hashim Abedi was recently revealed to be a “significant player” in a jihadi cell which targeted the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, according to the Sunday Telegraph.

    The two brothers were schooled at Stratford Grammar, one of many secondary schools and higher education colleges in the Manchester area, where Abedi was said to have been a student.
