1. 3 – First the drug epidemic, the History Channel and others are attacking the Just Say No campaign like the libs did whey the commercials were aired. What they don’t tell you is that during the roughly 11 years that they were aired drug usage was reduced by 1/2, This reduction was reversed when the drug using Clintons stopped the commercials.

   The most telling statement in the interview was the statement that the US can’t be trusted, this destruction of trust in the US is the worst damage Obama and to a lesser extent the Clintons did to the US. All sane people in the world know that they can’t trust the US when the Dems are in the White Hous, this is what Russia and China ar counting on, as they make their moves to become the dominate power in portions of the world. President Trump knows this, this is shown in his statements that maybe South Korea and Japan should build nuclear weapons. This is the only way they can remain free from Chinese dominat9ion with the US becoming an untrustworthy allie every 8 years.

     Finally, someone at a high level is willing to tell the ugly truth, instead of the usual beautiful lies. At the very least, this is a goad being prodded into China’s ribs about North Korea. If Japan and South Korea both go nuclear, they will no longer have to rely upon America’s protective umbrella or worry about how Democrats like Clinton and 0bama fold it up whenever they get their hands on the tiller.

     A nuclear-armed South Korea would send Beijing the unmistakable message that they can unilaterally impose harsh retribution should Communist China continue to prop up the NORKs. This also is extremely healthy for the USA because we would not have to be dragged into a nuclear conflict on the Korean peninsula if Psycho Fat Boy Kim causes things to go all pear-shaped.

     Similarly armed, Japan would then have its own lever to counter NORK aggression. Being able to retaliate against Red China for how it has supported Pyongyang (and its nuclear program) for all these years would definitely jab a spanner into Beijing’s gears. There is serious speculation that Japan already has several nuclear devices in an unassembled state (so as not to violate treaty agreements) which could be deployed in a few short weeks. After all, the Japanese have been operating nuclear reactors for decades and the extraction or enrichment processes needed to make use of reactor byproducts are well within Tokyo’s technological abilities.

     Also, with South Korea and Japan becoming nuclear armed, they would pose a unique threat to Communist China in that, using cruise missiles (instead of SRBMs or IRBMs), either country could deploy short-range, flat trajectory tracks that are, not just extremely difficult to intercept, but have very short arrival times. It is a safe bet that neither the Chinese nor the NORKs have overcome the formidable engineering challenges posed by warhead miniaturization that is necessary to reliably integrate nuclear devices with cruise missiles.

     As an example, one technological advance made by America that helped to precipitate the USSR’s bankruptcy collapse, was—not just our device miniaturization capabilities—but using digital electronics to embed terrain mapping into cruise missile guidance systems. These avionics could, not just take navigational bearings off of nearby mountains or even tall buildings, but also take evasive maneuvers and select alternative tracks upon encountering hostile countermeasures. The final nail in this strategic coffin resided in how hardened ICBM silos must be hit within a radius of about 100 meters to ensure cracking (i.e., disabling) them. That precision was beyond the guidance and incoming course correction capabilities of both US and Soviet ICBMs. American (nuclear-tipped) cruise missiles had an accuracy of 10 meters.

     Such a combination of threats (i.e., Japanese and South Korean nuclear arsenals) lends tremendous momentum to Trump’s words. Additionally, it is long overdue for there to emerge some meaningful form of counterbalance or pushback to Communist China’s relentless military buildup. Neither Japan nor South Korea can have any hope of marshaling a tiny fraction of Beijing’s troop strength. This is the last straw that breaks down previous resistance (especially on the part of Japan) with respect to acquiring nuclear (i.e., unconventional) weapons.

     After all, were Communist China able to absorb Taiwan—yet another prominent candidate for membership in East Asia’s budding nuclear club—aside from America’s military umbrella, what sort of adequate deterrent would there be to prevent a similar annexation of Japan? Finally, there is the possibility of South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan all forming a mutual defense pact that would pose a serious level of counter-threat to the Mainland. These are just some of the rich rewards that Red China is deservedly reaping for spending the past few decades enabling North Korea to continuously destabilize the Northeast Asian quadrant as an obstruction to any further spread of Democracy.

     Psycho Fat Boy Kim epitomizes the harsh consequences of Beijing’s short-sighted foreign policies and Command Economy mindset. By nursemaiding this warped and (if it even can be imagined) more totalitarian régime than that of the Politburo’s Mandarins, a threat of unprecedented proportions has arisen from beneath the sheltering wings of yet one more dystopic proletariat paradise. Red China’s current role in this Grand Guignol has its antecedents. Merely examine “The Communist Roots of Palestinian Terror” (by David Meir-Levi – December 2007) for a glimpse of how the most inhumane and brutal ideologies have been shepherded by Moscow and Beijing.

     It’s all there. These Marxist cesspools continue to make a dog’s breakfast of economic success, geopolitical stability, environmental health, and human rights around the world. Larding the free governments of East Asia with independently controlled nuclear arsenals represents one of the few acceptable responses to this perverted tradition of barbarity.

     • It’s called the law of unintended consequences, China intended to use NORK and their nuclear weapons to intimidate and blackmail the entire Orient and South Pacific. Their control manipulation of Kim was suppose to force the rest of the nations to buy them off with tribute. Instead they got a US President who says he is willing for South Korea and japan to join the nuclear club. I pray that China will hold Kim down long enough for one or both to take the hint but fear that they will keep pushing to the point we have to do something this summer.

         Thank you so much for responding. Over 99.99999% of my answer was meant for your appreciation alone. I’m still hoping that Eeyore might consider posting it as part of “Notes from NorseRadish”, but that is unlikely.

         We both know that China has hell to pay for bolstering the NORKs.

         Let’s all hope that time comes (much) sooner than later.

         • We both also know that China isn’t going to do diddly to stop the NORK missile tests or nuke tests, They want the US tied up in Korea and an active guerilla war in the US, this will give them the time to seize territory that controls mineral resources and fortify their positions to the point it will be expensive in men and equipment to remove them from their stolen land.

     • It seems inevitable that Japan will develop nukes or, assemble components they already have in place. I think they recently changed their constitution to allow for a much more robust military/security posture. Considering the demographics of Japan, a larger army or even navy is unlikely as you need young men, something Japan is in short supply of. So, what else is there? Offensive weapons.
       I am not so sure of South Korea. They recently had a change of gov’t and the new PM sounds like a pacifist. This seems to be code for “what can we bribe our lunatic northern neighbors with to get them to tone it down.” Two other factors for the south: if this conflict goes hot Soeul will take a real beating, the largest population center in the country. The other is that the US has guaranteed their safety for so long that the Korean people feel somewhat apathetic about it all. One of my sons lived in South Korea for 4 years and any time discussion turned to NorKo the Koreans gave a shoulder shrug more or less.

       • After the latest NORK missile test the new South Korean leader said that the test destroyed the last chance for Peace, with that attitude he will be much more receptive to the idea theater Nukes if not full blown strategic nukes and medium rand missiles to threaten China and Russia. There is nothing like facing a psychotic killer to wake a person up and force them to live in the real world.

         Granted this is a solution to a problem that will probably generate more problems in the future but the future will have to take care of itself.

   The article mentions the cross case. I recall two cross cases on land that started at as public land. The ADL would not touch either for reasons it stated in print. Those crosses–on the highest points in the city (Mt Soledad and Mt Helix) were always a visual reminder of the history of the conquistadores, the conquerors from Spain; however, they bore no consequnece other than the reminder of settlement, slavery, and history. The crosses post hoc are called war memorials.

   Each family I knew with a Jewish kid at school at some time or other had to make a call to the principal’s office asking that a teacher or teacher’s aide back off from questioning a young student why he had not accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.

   This district has publicly supported schools with a charter to teach Hebrew and a charter to teach Arabic (as well as a magnet school for the usual French and Spanish).

   I wonder if the conversation about bullying is a distraction for a larger conversation that should be taking place around acceptance and respect.
