British Airways computer systems have crashed across the world, sparking chaos at airports with massive queues and delayed flights.

All BA flights from Heathrow and Gatwick before 6pm have been cancelled because of a ‘major IT system failure’ that is causing ‘severe disruption worldwide’.

Hundreds of fliers are stuck in ‘huge’ check-in lines and parts of BA’s website and app are not working – causing people trying to check-in online to miss their flights.

Several passengers reported that the captain and gate staff at Gatwick Airport said the airline could be under a cyber attack.

Furious fliers in the UK, the US, Rome, Belfast and Lisbon among other locations vented that they have been stuck on their plane for more than two hours.

They spoke of ‘disgraceful’ customer service as staff gave out ‘no information’, while others said it was ‘carnage’ at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 and warned travellers to stay away.

The Department of Homeland Security under former President Barack Obama knowingly admitted teenage members of a vicious transnational gang into the U.S. during a flood of illegal immigration, a leading Republican senator said Wednesday.

Sen. Ron Johnson citing internal agency documents from a whistleblower, told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that DHS allowed at least 16 MS-13 members to stay in the U.S. after border agents detained them in 2014. The gang members arrived in the U.S. as a part of a wave of unaccompanied minors from Central American countries, where MS-13 is a dominant criminal organization.

A man who was yelling ‘anti-Muslim’ slurs at two young women on a light-rail train fatally slashed the throats of two men and injured a third person when they tried to intervene, police said.

The suspect was arrested after he ran off the train at the Hollywood transit station in Portland, Oregon. Police have not released his or the victims’ names, theOregonian reported.

The attacker was ‘yelling a gamut of anti-Muslim and anti-everything slurs’ before he turned his focus on the women, one of whom was wearing a hijab, police Sgt. Pete Simpson said.

After the suspect attacked the victims, he reportedly said, ‘This is free America, I can do whatever I want’ one witness toldKOMO news.

One victim was dead at the scene and while another died at a hospital, Simpson said. The third person was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Could a Manchester-style attack happen here in Canada? The answer, sadly, is a resounding “yes.”

Asking why it hasn’t happened yet is perhaps more to the point. That’s because we’ve already got jihadists like Salman Abedi, the 22-year-old behind the horrific concert attack, right here on home turf. Dozens of them. Perhaps over a hundred.

How do we know this? Because the heads of our security agencies say so. They’ve compiled the lists, they have the names and have some sense of where the radicals are at. The only thing they haven’t done is charge them.

Last March, CSIS director Michel Coulombe testified in front of a Senate committee that, at the time, there were 60 Canadians known to have returned home from going abroad to participate in terror activities.

9. Bomb squad descends on Manchester streets as police raid Rusholme address

Greater Manchester Police has confirmed they are conducting a raid in connection with the Manchester Arena terror attack.

A total of 11 people have been arrested and detained after ISIS terrorist Salman Abedi, 22, killed 22 people and maimed many more.

Two people were released without charge and two relatives of the bomber have been detained in Libya.

Abedi’s youngest victim was just eight, while other children have been left without parents who were killed by the bomber in the foyer of the well known Manchester venue.

GMP have said there was no explosion in Rusholme but they are asking surrounding homes to evacuate.

Boscombe Street is being evacuated while a police bomb disposal unit has arrived.
