  1. Computers are cutting into the number of accountants private industry does, these days clerks with computers are entering the data and the computers are doing the number crunching that accountants use to do. Back in the 80s when I was working as a cost accountant we worked out that without computers it would take about 40 accountants and about 150 clerks to do what 4 accountants, 2 accounting clerks, 6 order entry clerks and 3 people in the computer room were doing.

I hate to disagree with Dr. Peterson but you are seeing robots move into the jobs at fast food joints, the unions, other socialists and minimum wage laws have made it cheaper to invest in expensive computers instead of humans. This is also what is pushing the robot revolution in manufacturing and to an extent pushing for driverless vehicles. So far the farm jobs are for the most part still requiring humans but that is changing also.

    • In the first sentence make that private industry uses, not private industry does.

    • I can’t post the link to IQ Rank, by Country.
Maybe “IQ” ~ not PC website?
Try this: space instead of slash, comma instead of period.
