Islamic State’s German Magazine Tells Fighters To Kill ‘Apostate’ Imams
The German-language Islamic state magazine Rumiyah has called on supporters and Islamic State fighters in Germany and Austria to murder moderate Imams who they consider “apostates.”
The magazine was released in several languages earlier this week through the various internet channels Islamic State uses to broadcast propaganda to its sympathisers, MEMRI reports. One of the methods used was a “telegram” app, an encrypted messaging service that ISIS often uses and is generally the first place the group takes credit for terror attacks.
The terror group named several prominent members of the Muslim community in both Germany and Austria as potential targets for assassination in an article entitled “Kill the infidel imams in Germany and Austria.”

Brampton, Ontario Mayor Linda Jeffrey is dismissing critics who object to Muslim students having Friday prayer sessions in public schools as purveyors of “misinformation and hateful speech.” Jeffrey was responding to critics in a letter she released Thursday as Toronto-area parents in the Peel District School Board are preparing a full-scale protest on Saturday to demand that public schools not promote one religion over another.
The parents have organized a “Canada First” movement and plan a “Walk to Oppose Religion in Schools” this weekend at Celebration Square near Square One in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto. They are also opposed to the motion introduced by local Liberal Member of Parliament Iqra Khalid that would ban “Islamophobia” and potentially make their protest subject to hate crimes legislation.

‘Second ISIS’ made up of defeated rebels is emerging in Syria – former Al-Nusra prisoner to RT
Rebels from various parts of Syria are flocking to the country’s northwestern corner, giving rise to a “second Islamic State,” a US journalist and former Al-Nusra captive told RT, warning that the West is blind to what’s happening on the ground.
Western media coverage of the Syrian crisis is inadequate and biased, while most things reported about Aleppo are false or unprovable, a US journalist and former Al-Nusra captive told RT, while noting that the rise of a “second Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL]” is being completely overlooked.

Peter Theo Curtis, an American journalist who is known by his pen name Theo Padnos, was asked to share his view on how the war in Syria is seen in the West. Abducted by Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front in 2012 while trying to sneak into rebel-controlled Syrian territory, he gained insight into the various armed factions fighting the government, from the “moderate” Free Syrian Army to hardcore Islamists.
“I think that the Western understanding of what is happening in Syria is inadequate,” Padnos told RT.
“They don’t know what’s happening on the ground, they either don’t understand the language, or they can’t make sense of the videos, or their informants are, perhaps, biased,” he said.
Many in the West hardly understand “who the important forces are, what they want, and where they are,” Padnos said.
Indonesian Buddhists caned under sharia for first time
JANTHO, Indonesia – Indonesia’s only province to impose sharia law caned Buddhists for the first time Friday, after two men accused of cockfighting opted for punishment under the strict regulations.
Alem bin Suhadi, 57, and Amel bin Akim, 60, both ethnic Chinese and members of the Buddhist minority, were whipped in front of dozens of local officials and residents in the city of Jantho, Aceh province.
The two men grimaced as they received nine and seven lashes respectively on their backs, a sentence that was mitigated because they had spent over a month in detention since police nabbed them for cockfighting in Aceh Besar in January. “When they were arrested, two chickens and 400 thousand rupiah of betting money were confiscated by the police,” said prosecutor Rivandi Aziz.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman said in an interview Sunday that the Russian ambassador who met with Trump campaign officials also met with “people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”
“Well, if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he had lots of meetings of that kind,” Dmitry Peskov told CNN “GPS” host Fareed Zakaria. “There are lots of specialists in politology, people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”
Peskov said it is the job of Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak to meet with officials on both sides to talk about “bilateral relations.”
Peskov also defended those meetings, saying they were not an attempt to interfere in the 2016 election.

Tram drivers in Gothenburg on violence: “It has escalated slightly insane”
Published March 12, 2017 at 18:07
By Mattias Albinsson ?
DOMESTIC. Stone throwing, violence, vandalism, threats. It is living in Gothenburg tram drivers. Free Times spoke with one of those short tram for more than ten years and who do not look particularly bright future.

Last weekend was beaten a tram drivers in Gothenburg suburb Angered. Several youths attacked the driver with at least a kick and a blow after he told them not to go on the tram tracks. A woman who intervened to protect the driver was also beaten her.
The event is far from unique. Violence has become commonplace for tram drivers.
– I have both been nedsparkad, threatened, spat upon, green laser, anything is possible, says Eva, one of the tram drivers, for free times.
Eve wants to remain anonymous because it is sensitive to talk about the problems with the media. She explains that many journalists are trying to lay the blame for the violence on the victims and on the Gothenburg tram every time something happens.

Below is a very cogent essay from a contributor at Quora.com. It is in answer to one of that site’s typically biased questions about Trump:
Are Trump supporters beginning to realize they’ve been conned?
By: Chris Schene
The Trump voters are not a monolithic group and, quite honestly, I doubt most leftists have the slightest idea why Trump supporters voted for him. I have no idea why most people voted for Trump, but I can tell you why I did.
The essential difference between a leftist (Obama, HRC) and a liberal (Clinton, Carter) is that a leftist will force you to conform to their beliefs and values while a liberal just has liberal points of views and is more inclined to live and let live.
I was born in New York City and lived up until the age of 27 in that NYC metropolitan area. I was in the US Air Force. I was more liberal when I was younger and was never really exposed to conservative points of view until I joined the military and that military experience pushed me much father to the right politically.
Believe it or not, I was going to abstain from the POTUS vote until Hilary’s “Deplorables” remark. That remark and some of the wiki-leaks information convinced me she was a hopeless leftist bigot who hated conservatives and especially Christian conservatives and under her rule I and my fellow Christian conservatives would lose many of our rights and I suspect that churches and Christians who will not support the new leftist sexual morality would be persecuted by losing tax deduction for donations and even in employment. You may not see my fear as rational or reasonable, but to me and my fellow Christian conservatives it was very real. Whatever happens, we CC (Christian Conservatives) will fare better with Trump.
There is much to dislike about Trump, but I saw him as a better choice than Hilary. I take him seriously but not literally and I realize he is politically inexperienced and perhaps a bit of an amateur: he won’t be perfect but he will move us more in the directions I want to move. I really like the fact that Trump is so anti-PC and doesn’t give a shit what lefties think of him.
Some other reasons that convinced me:
1. I am a constitutional originalist. HRC made it clear she wanted to modify the constitution and make us more like Europe. I have been to Europe and Asia and while nice to visit, I don’t want to be like those countries.
2. I absolutely hate the identity politics and grievance and race baiting industry that HRC, Obama and leftists promote. Trump will push it back, I found HRCs cow-towing to BLM to be a very poor reflection on her character, objectivity and even-handedness. Her “deplorable” remark was an indication that she is quite stupid.
3. Law and order: I am the father of an officer and relative and friend of many others. I am sick and tired of the police persecution and violence toward them. BLM is a terrorist organization and I want them treated as such. I advocate maximum force against BLM threats and violence. It is a falsehood that police single out Blacks.
A.) A felony conviction for anyone threatening police verbally, in writing or in any other way. This means yelling “what do we want dead cops” would land you a felony conviction.
B.) I advocate federal felony riot charges against rioters and shoot to kill orders for those rioters physically attacking or threatening people including those threatening police. If it were up to me, at least a few of the Berkeley rioters would have been killed to protect people. Since the leftists who were rioting have declared war and feel free to engage in literal physical violence toward others, I want to give them the honor of dying in this war they have declared. It would also put the rioters on clear notice that there is a good possibility they will die for their belief that violence is an acceptable response to Milo’s (people’s) exercising of free speech rights.
C.) I advocate federal criminal prosecution of sanctuary state and city officials: They are committing the crime, at a minimum, of harboring fugitives. I also advocate criminal prosecution of and civil suits of corporate officers and managers of companies harboring illegal immigrants.
D.) I would triple the penalty for anyone hiding their identity in a riot.
4. I would expel any illegal guilty of a crime and I would require, at a minimum, four years of honorable military or national service for Dreamers who wish to stay.
5. I advocate the use of federal troops to protect constitutional rights. Eisenhower used federal troops to enforce a civil rights court order. Put all public universities and schools on notice that they will guarantee free speech rights or will be forced to comply. Issue a court order to Berkeley, for example, and if Berkeley and city police refuse to comply, enforce the order with federal troops.
5.1) Just FYI: Milo knows people in the administration and is well respected in conservative circles. It was a big-time strategic mistake on the part of leftists to attack Milo.
6. I would end birthright citizenship and chain immigration. We need doctors, engineers and other high paid workers. We don’t need a bunch of low paid workers driving Americans out of construction, carpentry who benefit employers by driving down American wages.
I am close to retirement and probably within five years will be receiving Social Security and I know that I will fare worse under Trump: I don’t care because I value his other policies more than financial wealth or any easy retirement.
Nope, I have not been conned: Trump is a flawed and imperfect man who is inexperienced in the political arena and I expect mistakes and that he will only be able to keep some of his promises. The direction Trump will move us is what is important to me.
Quora is a leftist echo chamber and this answer will be down-voted and collapsed unless some of you conservatives who agree up vote the answer.
Sounds like sombody woke up. Right sharp-ish!

Now DENMARK blocks Turkish ministers from official visit as tensions continue to escalate (express, Mar 13, 2017)
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/778324/DENMARK-block-Turkish-ministers-visit-tensions-escalate-Netherlands-Erdogan-Rasmussen
“TURKISH relations with EU countries are on the brink of complete meltdown after Denmark’s prime minister joined other Brussels members in blocking Ankara ministers from official visits.
Lars Loekke Rasmussen, the prime minister of Denmark, blocked Turkish prime minister Binali Yilderim in response to Erdogan’s “rhetorical attacks on the Netherlands”.
In a statement Mr Rasmussen said that “under normal circumstances” it would be a pleasure to greet Yilderim in Copenhagen.
But he added: “With the current rhetorical attacks by Turkey against the Netherlands, a new meeting cannot be seen isolated from that.
“I have therefore suggested to my Turkish colleague that our meeting is postponed.”
Denmark’s call for an official visit ban from Turkey comes after Erdogan warned the Netherlands, it will “pay” for banning his country’s ministers…”

‘Support the Netherlands or LEAVE’ Geert Wilders tells Turks to reject ‘CRAZY’ Erdogan (express, Mar 13, 2017)
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/778329/geert-wilders-support-netherlands-leave-turkey-reject-crazy-erdogan
“GEERT Wilders has demanded all of the Netherlands 400,000 ethnic Turks are stripped of their dual citizenship or go back to Turkey amid escalating tensions between the two states.
The leader of the Freedom party called Turks a “fifth column” as diplomatic tensions disintegrated between the two countries after Turkish diplomats were denied entry to the country.
Erdogan’s ministers have been trying to drum up support among western Europe’s 4.6million Turkish expatriates for a referendum which could give the president a raft of new constitutional powers following last year’s failed coup.
Mr Wilders said: “It’s quite clear. Now it proves most of them have double nationality and now it proves who they are loyal to.
“Are they loyal to Holland? Then they should reject the remarks of President Erdogan and they are as equal as anybody else.
“But if today proves in the coming days that they support the crazy and harsh remarks of Mr Erdogan then I invite them all to leave Holland, to go to Turkey and never come back because then their loyalty is not to Holland, but to the Turkish Republic.”
Ahead of the election on March 15, Wilders has campaigned along an anti-EU, anti-Islam platform.
Wilders said: “We have a fifth column in the Netherlands. If your loyalty lies elsewhere then get out. No dual citizenship anymore. And shut the borders.”
A rally in support of Erdogan was organised in the Netherlands this week, but Dutch riot police acted swiftly to stamp out the march as authorities expelled a Turkish minister who was hosting the campaign and was denied a visa into the country…”

U.S. deploys attack drones to South Korea amid tension with North
SEOUL (Reuters) – The United States has started to deploy attack drones to South Korea, a U.S. military spokesman said on Monday, days after it began to deploy an advanced anti-missile system to counter “continued provocative actions” by isolated North Korea.
The drones, Gray Eagle Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) coming to South Korea are part of a broader plan to deploy a company of the attack drones with every division in the U.S. Army, the spokesman said.
“The UAS adds significant intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capability to U.S. Forces Korea and our ROK partners,” United States Forces Korea spokesman Christopher Bush said in a statement.
He did not say exactly when the drones would arrive in South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea (ROK).
North Korea has conducted two nuclear tests and a string of missile tests since the beginning of last year, despite the imposition of new U.N. sanctions.

Exclusive: Japan plans to send largest warship to South China Sea, sources say
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan plans to dispatch its largest warship on a three-month tour through the South China Sea beginning in May, three sources said, in its biggest show of naval force in the region since World War Two.
China claims almost all the disputed waters and its growing military presence has fueled concern in Japan and the West, with the United States holding regular air and naval patrols to ensure freedom of navigation.
The Izumo helicopter carrier, commissioned only two years ago, will make stops in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Sri Lanka before joining the Malabar joint naval exercise with Indian and U.S. naval vessels in the Indian Ocean in July.
It will return to Japan in August, the sources said.
“The aim is to test the capability of the Izumo by sending it out on an extended mission,” said one of the sources who have knowledge of the plan. “It will train with the U.S. Navy in the South China Sea,” he added, asking not to be identified because he is not authorized to talk to the media.

Hillary Clinton’s team met with Russian ambassador, says Kremlin spokesman, as he warns against ‘hysteria’
Hillary Clinton’s team members met with the Russian ambassador during the election as well as Donald Trump’s, the Kremlin spokesman has alleged, as he set out to dismiss the “hysteria” surrounding Mr Trump’s links to Russia.
The house intelligence committee will hold its first session on Russia on March 20, with the heads of the FBI, national security agency and CIA expected to appear, plus previous intelligence chiefs.
But Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for Vladimir Putin, said on Sunday that America was “self-humiliating” in insisting that Russia hacked its election.
And he defended the actions of their ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, whose meeting with Michael Flynn, Mr Trump’s choice of national security adviser, caused Mr Flynn to lose his job. He was fired after just 24 days when it became clear that he had lied about meeting the Russian, and misled the vice president.

About CNN’s game-changing video of the day Michael Brown was shot
By Howard Portnoy March 12, 2017
Suppose that everything you thought about the circumstances leading up to untimely death of Ferguson, Mo., resident Michael Brown turned out to be wrong. Imagine, for example, that the infamous story of the “gentle giant” roughing up a store owner, then walking out with cigarillos he never paid for was part of a vast right-wing conspiracy to besmirch Brown’s character.
That’s what CNN would have you believe. To which end, the least reliable name in cable news released new footage this morning showing that Brown’s behavior in the convenience store was quite civilized. The footage (below) shows Brown standing at the counter of the store and handing the clerk a quantity of marijuana in exchange for the smokes. (OK, yes, that’s a crime, too, but not even CNN can make this galoot look like a boy scout.)
http://libertyunyielding.com/2017/03/12/cnns-game-changing-video-day-michael-brown-shot/
So, is the network justified in its claim that evidence that could have made a difference in the case was suppressed?
Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit has a theory on that question. The new video, he maintains, differs in important respects from the one circulated two and a half years ago. In it, for example, the opening shot of the parking lot appears to have been recorded at night. But Brown’s strong arm robbery and subsequent fatal run-in with law enforcement occurred during daylight hours.
Notice also that in the new footage, Brown appears wearing a backpack. In the original footage and stills from it, he is not:

Richard: This is a real good question, he was working for the Dems doing opposition research until he was fired, then he started doing the same investigation/fiction writing for the FBI.
Republican Senator: Why was FBI Working with “Dossier” Spy?
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is heading up a congressional inquiry to the FBI’s relationship with a former British spy who gained notoriety last year as the author of the infamous “Russian dossier” report published by BuzzFeed.
Ex-MI6 agent Christopher Steele authored the report while working with Republicans, and later Democrats, who wanted to dig up dirt on then-candidate Donald Trump. According to a report from the Washington Post last month, Steele ultimately turned his memos over to the FBI, and they in turn began working with the former spy.
The Post, at the time, said that news of the working arrangement gave the dossier extra credibility.

The bomber detonated near the Weheliye hotel on the busy Maka Almukarramah road, Capt. Mohamed Hussein said. Ambulances rushed to the scene.
The al-Qaida-linked Islamic extremist group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the blast, according to the group’s Andalus radio. The group has often targeted hotels in Mogadishu, including a hotel attack in late January that killed at least 26 people.

“Egypt’s ousted president Hosni Mubarak was ordered to be freed from detention on Monday, according to the prosecutor who signed his release order — ending nearly six years of legal proceedings against the long-ruling autocrat.
The prosecutor, Ibrahim Saleh, told The Associated Press that he ordered Mubarak’s release after he accepted a petition by the former president’s lawyer for his freedom on the basis of time already served.
Mubarak, 88, was acquitted by the country’s top appeals court on March 2 of charges that he ordered the killing of protesters during the 2011 uprising that ended his 29-year rule. That verdict, according to Saleh, cleared the way for the lawyer to request that his client be released since he has already served a three-year sentence for embezzling state funds while in detention in connection to the protesters’ case.
“There is not a single reason to keep him in detention and the police must execute the order,” Saleh said. “He is free to go.”…”

USA: Anti-Trumpers decry ‘fake news’ outside Breitbart HQ in Los Angeles
Anti-Trump protesters rallied outside what is believed to be the headquarters of far-right news outlet Breitbart in Los Angeles, Sunday, to protest against what they perceive to be ‘fakes news’ coming from the media company, dubbing it the “propaganda arm of the Trump administration.”
Protesters held signs reading ‘Lies Trump Lies’, ‘Breitbart lies’ and ‘Breitbart sells fear’, with dozens of pro-Trump counter-protesters rallying across the road, heckling the demonstrators.
US President Donald Trump’s White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has been closely linked to the media outlet and the Trump campaign before taking a central role in Trump’s administration, where he now sits on the US National Security Council.
For four years Bannon worked as executive chairman of Breitbart News, a website he himself once described as “a platform for the alt-right.” The website’s “guide to the alt-right” states that the idea is to advocate “identity politics that prioritises the interests of their own demographic.” Opponents of the alt-right consider it to be a far-right brand of conservatism that promotes white supremacy.
Turkey: ‘First we squeeze you, then we drink you’ – AKP fans deride Dutch in anti-orange demo
Showing their distaste for the Dutch national colour, members of the youth wing of the governing Justice and Development Party (AKP) held a rally in Izmit, Sunday, squeezing oranges and drinking the juice, as an ongoing diplomatic spat between the Netherlands and Turkey spirals.
Participants bore placards branding Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte a ‘fascist’. Several of the protesters wore t-shirts with the word ‘Yes’ emblazoned on their torsos, calling for voters to support the government’s proposals in Turkey’s upcoming referendum on the constitution.
A diplomatic spat between Ankara and The Hague continues as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised on Sunday that the Netherlands “will pay” for barring Turkish ministers from speaking in the country.
Erdogan accuses Merkel of ‘supporting terrorists’
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday accused German Chancellor Angela Merkel of “supporting terrorists”, in a spiralling row with EU states after the blocking of poll rallies by ministers.
“Mrs Merkel, why are you hiding terrorists in your country?… Why are you not doing anything?” Erdogan said in an interview with A-Haber television, accusing Berlin of not responding to 4,500 dossiers sent by Ankara on terror suspects. “Mrs Merkel, you are supporting terrorists,” he added.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan: Turkish president says Germany ‘mercilessly supports terrorism’
Chancellor Angela Merkel called earlier outbursts issued from Ankara ‘completely misguided’
Turkey’s president has accused Germany of “mercilessly supporting terrorism” – the latest in a string of insults traded between Ankara and its Nato allies in northern Europe.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s comments, broadcast live on television, threaten to inflame an already volatile diplomatic crisis that erupted at the weekend when the Netherlands blocked Turkish ministers from speaking at a political rally in Rotterdam.
On Saturday, Mr Erdogan branded the Netherlands “Nazi remnants, fascists” after the Dutch government withdrew permission for his Foreign Minister to land there.
Chancellor Angela Merkel responded that Germany “completely rejects rhetorical and any other comparisons with the National Socialists made by the Turkish president”.
“These comparisons are completely misguided,” she said. “They trivialise the suffering.
“Particularly in the Netherlands that endured so much agony through the National Socialists, it’s just completely unacceptable.
“That’s why the Netherlands can count on my complete support and solidarity on this.”
Mr Erdogan’s latest attack on Germany appears to come in response to Ms Merkel’s rebuttal, and at a time when the increasingly authoritarian leader is seeking support from Turks in a referendum on boosting his powers.
It also comes as Turkey is caught up by its own terrorism problem, with militant attacks and the war in neighbouring Syria.
Mr Erdogan has previously accused European countries, including Germany, of harbouring terrorists, something European countries deny.
The Turkish president also said he planned to take the spat with the Netherlands to the European Court of Human Rights.
The dispute threatens to harm Turkey’s already fragile bid to join the EU.

Turkey: Funeral wreath laid outside Dutch consulate to mark deteriorating relations
Turkey: Protesters burn Dutch – or is it French? – flag after minister deported from Holland
Around a dozen protesters set fire to red, white and blue tricolour at the Republic Square in the Turkish city of Samsun, Sunday, following an escalation of a diplomatic crisis between Turkey and the Netherlands. While the protesters were directing their anger at the Netherlands, the footage appears to show a French flag being burnt by mistake. Both French and Dutch flags are similar, except the colours of the French flag are vertical, while the Dutch is horizontal.
The dispute broke out after Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu’s plane was prevented from landing in Rotterdam, where he was intending to hold a rally garnering support for a ‘Yes’ vote in Turkey’s upcoming constitutional referendum.
Following the decision from Rutte’s government, Turkish Minister for Family and Social Policy Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya was sent in his stead from Germany. She was also blocked from speaking at the rally and was later escorted back to Germany by police.
On Sunday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised that the Netherlands “will pay” for barring Turkish ministers from speaking in the country.
Erdogan has compared the Dutch administration to Nazis for their refusal to host Turkish government representatives, threatening diplomatic and economic measures against the Netherlands.
Quebec weekly removes cartoon depicting premier stoning former colleague
MONTREAL — A Montreal-area weekly newspaper has removed an editorial cartoon from its website depicting Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard stoning a former Muslim colleague.
Couillard says he found the cartoon in poor taste but told reporters today his office didn’t ask for it to be removed when it contacted Le Courrier du Sud’s owners last Friday.
The work shows Couillard dressed in religious garb lobbing stones at Fatima Houda-Pepin to mark International Women’s Day last week.
Houda-Pepin is a former Liberal who was ejected from caucus in 2014 after feuding with Couillard and the party over what she felt was a weak stance on identity issues.
The cartoon was published in print and digital formats last week but was removed from the weekly newspaper’s website today.
Jean-Marc Phaneuf, the longtime cartoonist behind the work, says he sees nothing controversial about the cartoon and is critical of the premier’s interference in the matter.
For his part, Couillard said Monday he believes in freedom of expression but cautioned that exercising good judgment is part and parcel of it.

UN Human Rights Head: Trump Policies Might Breach International Law
No mention of real human rights abuses in his own country of Jordan.
Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, a Jordanian, assumed his functions as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on September 1, 2014. He has recently been obsessed with criticizing the Trump administration for a variety of alleged human rights sins. Considering the sorry human rights record in his home country of Jordan, Zeid Hussein’s obsession smacks of utter hypocrisy. His charges are also baseless.
In a speech that Zeid Al Hussein delivered in Geneva on March 8th, he had this to say about the Trump administration:

The North Korea Syndrome
Recalling a left-wing hero’s reversal of history.

Lloyd Billingsley
When not assassinating relatives such his estranged half-brother Kim Jong-Nam, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un has been launching missiles that fly perilously closer to U.S. allies such as Japan, and few doubt that the ultimate target is the American mainland. In response, as the Washington Times reported, the Trump administration seeks to deploy the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD) in South Korea by the end of 2017.
This move has “angered not only North Korea but also China and Russia, which see the system’s powerful radars as a security threat.” THAAD is purely defensive but its deployment is described as “controversial.” So is the history of conflict in the region, too important to be left to an American KGB collaborator the establishment media still passes off as an independent journalist.
With aid from American Stalinist spies such as Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, Stalin gained the technology to build nuclear weapons. The USSR exploded its first atomic bomb on August 29, 1949 and the blast encouraged Stalin to mount a surge in his expansionist plans. He urged his North Korean ally Kim Il-Sung to attack South Korea, an ally of the United States, and on July 25, 1950, the Communist forces invaded.

Steve King tweet backing Geert Wilders sparks social media backlash
Senior Republican congressman Steve King has sparked a backlash on social media after tweeting his support for the Dutch anti-Islam politician, Geert Wilders.
“Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny,” Mr King wrote on Twitter.
“We can’t restore our civilisation with somebody else’s babies,” he added.
The US Republican representative of Iowa defended his comments on Monday, saying he “meant exactly what he said”.
“It’s a clear message,” he told CNN’s New Day programme.
“We need to get our birth rates up or Europe will be entirely transformed within a half century or a little more. And Geert Wilders knows that and that’s part of his campaign and part of his agenda.”
He would like to see “an America that’s just so homogenous that we look a lot the same, from that perspective”, he continued.
Mr King is a strong advocate of putting a stop to birthright citizenship.
All children born in the US currently get citizenship under the constitution, including the children of families living in America illegally.
Mr King has pushed for radical reform of the interpretation of the 14th amendment of the US constitution so that it no longer gives the children of undocumented migrants the right to a US passport.

““We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies,” he added.”
Now that”s going to leave a mark!
Will someone pleeeeease tell this to the pro-anchor baby crowd?
“He would like to see “an America that’s just so homogeneous that we look a lot the same, from that perspective”, he continued.”
Clearly, he appears to have read Takuan Seiyo’s famous line about diversity and Tabasco sauce:
““Diversity” is like Tabasco – add a ¼ spoonful to your grits, and you have a more lively and interesting dish. Add half a cup of the hot sauce, and you need an ambulance.“

zero hedge -Trump Greenlights Arms Sales To Saudis Frozen Under Obama
The US State Department under Donald Trump announced last week that they will green-light the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia that were previously frozen in the final months of the Obama administration.
The State Department announced the resumption of the sale of arms last week, that will primarily be used by Saudi Arabia to fight their ongoing war in Yemen. The problem is that the announcement did not include any conditions that would require the Saudis to improve the standards used in this war that have already led to a host of war crimes and human rights violations.
This move comes at a time where Trump is stepping up operations by US forces in Yemen, fighting the al Qaeda branch; al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). AQAP however, has not been the primary target of the Saudis who are currently engaged in fighting with the Houthis allied with the segments of the Yemeni army who have rejected the Saudi backed government that was installed before the war.
Saudi Arabia has already been accused of committing war crimes in their attacks on Yemen by the United Nations, in a campaign that has been facilitated by the US since its inception. Obama previously supplied the Saudis with weapons for this military venture but even after his mostly symbolic halt of arms shipments, US planes were still refueling Saudi bombers and US intelligence was providing targets to the Saudi Air Force.
The weapons shipment will primarily consist of technology used to carry out more precision air strikes, but even with that in mind there is cause for concern. The U.K., which has already been providing technology like this, have had concerns that they’ve sold more bombs than there were actual targets for in the small country. So despite the “precision” of these weapons, it’s know the Saudis continue to intentionally target civilian infrastructure.
This is just the latest step in Trump’s growing relationship to the Saudis, despite his promises to flip US foreign policy upside down. Instead the new administration has decided to further prop up the number one terror exporter in an attempt to apply more pressure to Iran, who Trump blames for the hostility in Yemen.
This also goes against the criticism Trump had of Hillary during the presidential campaign for accepting millions of dollars from the oil kingdom via the Clinton Foundation. Trump has also moved to reinstate Hillary Clinton’s disastrous plan for ‘safe zones’ in Syria that he says the gulf states would pay for, which are also likely to become places for extremists backed by the Saudis to seek refuge.
The foreign policy shift that a lot of people were hoping for from Donald Trump is unlikely to come as long as he keeps with traditional allies like the Saudis or Israel. Aiding the nation that is most responsible for terrorism across the Middle East and the globe is unlikely to set the conditions for change anytime in the near future.
* * *
Perhaps the timing of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to Washington is more than just a pitch for investment. Of course, the Saudis would probably have bought these weapons from another arms dealer so Trump’s decision fits with ‘America First’.
Gerald M. Feierstein, a former U.S. ambassador to Yemen, said that allowing Saudi Arabia to purchase the precision weapons would make sense. “My own view is that we should be able to sell these,” said Feierstein, who now directs the Center for Gulf Affairs at the Middle East Institute.
Feierstein and other advocates of the sale argue that precision munitions are preferable to unguided or “dumb” bombs and are less likely to cause civilian casualties when used properly.
“We should provide more help, more support, to get them to stop doing stupid things,” Feierstein said. “We should not cut off all the tools that would enable them to do this the right way.”

Syria: Assad accuses the West of supporting ‘terrorists’ in Syria
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has accused the American-led coalition of assisting “terrorists” with their policies in Syria, during an interview in Damascus on Monday.
In regard to the role of Europe and the USA in Syria, Assad said “the only role is to support the terrorists until the moment. They didn’t support any political process, they only talk about political process, but there’s no real commitment to any political action till that moment.”
“European officials that went in the wrong way since the beginning of the crisis in Syria and led to the destruction of Syria and prevailing of terrorism in the region, that led to terrorist attacks in many European countries and the refugee crisis,” added Assad.

That’s not what these folks said!
Only looks like ice – it’s really ice-cream and frosting!
And I’m curled up on a New Zealand sheepskin rug, with a crazy-quilt of scavenged fur scraps – fox, mink, linx, Persian lamb – that screams, “Eat your heart out, PETA!”
I wish I could see the rug and quilt.
You’re welcome to my playpen! Tiny, but cozy.

France: ‘I respect Islam’ – Le Pen says as election day draws closer
National Front presidential candidate Marine Le Pen blamed the European Union and “radical individualism” for leaving a “void” that had been filled by “religious fundamentalists,” as she spoke at a press conference in Paris entitled ‘Citizenship,’ Monday.
“When it comes to the privileges of citizenship, France has been betrayed,” the far-right candidate said, adding that French governments over the past 50 years “let the EU appropriate large swathes of national sovereignty, one step at a time.”
SOT, Marine Le Pen, National Front presidential candidate (French): “French people are making the law on their territory. When it comes to the privileges of citizenship, France has been betrayed, French citizens have been betrayed by the insistence of governments that succeeded one another for 50 years and let the EU appropriate large swathes of national sovereignty, one step at a time.”
SOT, Marine Le Pen, National Front presidential candidate (French): “I want French people to be proud to be French. I want that, as French people, we see respect in the eyes of people that we meet, as well as thoughtfulness, desire. And I want the French to discover again how it is great, strong and good to be a French citizen. This ambition will disarm the pressure that is exerted by some religious fundamentalists and several ideologies on to the youth, and the youngsters, French people who don’t know who they are any more. They are filling the void left by the EU and radical individualism, they [the fundamentalists] are strong because we are weak, they just seduce because we no longer know how to say how France attracts, how it is desired and how this is a chance to be French and to share this in common.”
SOT, Marine Le Pen, National Front presidential candidate (French): “As I already said I respect all the great religions and all the cultures that hundreds of years have built. It is because I respect Islam that I would not try to interpret what Islam should or could be. This is up for Muslims to do, to the clerics or the authorities that represent them to tell the several interpretations that they give to their faith. But we will tell, great and powerfuly, the fundamentalists in France, that for these people [the fundamentalists] there is no longer France, there is no longer a Republic and there is no longer being a French citizen.”

Jonathan Spyer:
Who will dominate the post-Islamic State landscape in Iraq and Syria?
While the tactical contests are continuing, the general direction of events in both the war against Islamic State and the fight between Assad and the rebels is now clear. Islamic State is on its way to ceasing to exist as an entity controlling significant territory.
[…]
As the direction of events becomes clear, so the possibility emerges of the Iran-led alliance achieving an overall victory in the Syria and Iraq wars. Assad’s own forces are entirely dependent for advances on the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hizbullah, Iraqi Shi’a militia forces and paramilitary formations created by the Iranians. That is, the real power would be Iran-arranged forces on the ground.
Yet advances for the Iranian side are possible only with the support of Russian air power. And Russian goals in Syria do not necessarily dovetail with Tehran’s. Iran wants total victory, the reunification of Syria under Assad’s nominal control, and the emergence of the Iranled Shi’a militias as the key power-holders in Iraq.
Moscow had and has far more limited goals. The Russians in Syria wanted to prevent Assad’s defeat, secure their naval assets on the Mediterranean and make themselves the main broker in the subsequent frozen or semi-frozen conflict.
There is a large gap between these two agendas, and working on and widening it should be foremost in the minds of both Western and Israeli policy-makers.
The Russians need to understand that while their own perceived vital interests in Syria can be accommodated, the far more ambitious Iranian agenda in the area crosses Western and Israeli redlines, and therefore will not be allowed to achieve its goals. Without the Russians, Western and Israeli efforts to contain and turn back the Iranians can proceed apace.
This can be achieved through a combination of diplomatic efforts and facts on the ground. Regarding the former … [Bibi] on his visit to Russia, will presumably be making clear … to Putin that Israel’s security redlines regarding an Iranian and Hezbollah creation of a new conflict line east of Quneitra crossing, and regarding the need to prevent permanent Iranian bases in western Syria, are serious, will be pursued, and can be achieved with no threat to Russian vital interests.
Regarding the latter, as of now the key force in Syria fighting Islamic State is the US-aligned SDF. The latest reports indicate that elements of the US Army 75th Ranger Regiment and of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deploying in eastern Syria to support the fight against Islamic State in this area.
Ownership by the US and its allies of eastern Syria in the post-Islamic State period is the best way to prevent the possibility of the realization of Iran’s aims, while presenting Russia with a fait accompli. The indications are that the US administration is thinking in these terms. If so, Iranian victory emerging from the ruins of Syria and Iraq can be prevented.
The post-Islamic State landscape in Iraq and Syria is emerging. The contest for primacy within it is set to begin.

maybe they're all nutters after allIDF report highlights Palestinians who ‘seek suicide’ through attacks
A new Israeli army report titled “Beyond the Knife: How Domestic Problems Can Lead to Terror,” highlights attacks by Palestinians over the last year and a half that were motivated by a desire to commit suicide, rather than by ideology.
Reasons for some lone-wolf attacks “include but are not limited” to “domestic violence within the household (with family members such as siblings, spouses, fiance, etc.); social criticism for an immoral act such as adultery, lack of respect for the family, matriculation failure and more; and serious psychological issues stemming from depression, despair, and mental illness.”

Israel has no choice. We still do. Throw ’em out, keep ’em out.
Beyond the Knife: How Domestic Problems Can Lead to Terror
Palestinian youth are trying to commit suicide by committing terror attacks, essentially to find an escape out of their psychological, personal, and family struggles.
…
Reviewing each and every one of these cases raises one conclusion—after fights within their family household and without any support from society, these young people remain isolated, angry, and without the appropriate psychological treatment. They feel that their only option to get out of this vicious cycle is to commit a terror attack, with the goal of becoming a martyr. IDF soldiers do not check the reason why Palestinians commit these attacks against Israelis; they only work to stop them from carrying out the attack. If Palestinians paid closer attention to the problems of their relatives, children and the oppressed individuals in their society, and reach out a helping hand—a new healthier generation will grow up and will be able to deal and overcome with the difficulties, instead of trying hurt themselves and innocents through acts of terror.

https://www.elestrechodigital.com/servicios/entra-vigor-limite-acceso-porteadores-ceuta-4-000-al-dia/
