        • (so here´s the whole thing, I´m not a native speaker, please forgive the mistakes)

UNDER THE CHEESE BELL IN LA-LA-LAND

In the Hollywood classic “Truman Show” the awakening of the protagonist of the same name from his artificially perfect world begins with the fact that one day a floodlight breaks from the fake sky and crashes to his feet. Although Truman seems to have not a care in the world, he is restless until the stage props are smashed down around him and he realizes the painful truth. But in reality, not all people are as brave as Truman.

In 1943, my grandfather, who was not fit for walking, was visited by his friend Karl. He came home from the eastern front on home leave, and had brought disturbing news, which he dared to tell Grandfather only in a whisper. Over there, in the far east, Jews were systematically murdered, massacres and gas, of “ours.” Then my grandfather struck the table, and cried out to Karl a thundering “No!”: “Such wickedness does not exsist, no, I will not hear that.”

Since then almost 74 years have passed. Grandfather has long since been dead, my grandmother as well, who, as a youth, after I had drilled intensively, reported this episode from our family history. The grandparents were not Nazis, but normal citizens, fellow-travelers like millions of others, fellow swimmers in the then mainstream. Their endeavor was to bring themselves and their own family safely through war and dictatorship. Whatever it was, it was better not to know too much about things that would not only affect one’s own conscience, but could also cost one’s head. The fact that Jews were “picked up” was generally known; What happened to them afterwards, one would rather not learn. That was the invisible wall. Everyone knew where the invisible wall was, and that you would be risking their lives if they dare cross it.

THE INVISIBLE WALL CROSSED FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST

In the 1980s, the invisible wall shared hostile camps. For the first time, I was a young student at West Berlin universities. Although I felt “left,” I had close friends in the GDR(East Germany/DDR), which I regularly visited, and was so naive to speak of the political difficulties of such “wall-crossing” friendship. But no one wanted to hear anything about forced exchange, stasi-informers, failed escape attempts or even the despising conditions in East German prisons. Old-68’s lecturers strangled the subject with a disgusting expression, as if I were infected with a contagious disease. Most of the students also dismissed it. “We better get to our own mess before we criticise the situation in other countries.” They talked about what was happening only a few kilometers away from them. At the same time, they didn´t see a contradiction to the fact that they were engaged in Nicaragua and South Africa for similar causes, because the conflicts fit into the familiar right-left scheme: “US imperialism” and apartheid system on the one hand, oppressed masses on the other.

The invisible wall passed the wall between East and West Berlin. Ironic how those who saw themselves as enlightened, critical intellectuals refused to discuss about the conditions in East Germany and in the entire Eastern bloc. They were also silent on Poland, although the working class in the form of the Solidarno?? trade union had risen there against the rulers, as from the Communist textbook. But no, because the Springer press wrote about it, these were all “right” topics and thus taboo. Anyone who addressed them would play “reactionaries” and “eternal strangers” into their hands, which would be interfering with relaxation policies and peaceful coexistence.

Many members of the political and media elites and with them large sections of the West German population had made themselves comfortable behind the invisible wall and were therefore totally surprised by the political change in East Germany which led to the fall of the Wall and German reunification. Their ignorance and the elimination of facts that did not fit into their own worldview prevented them from adapting to political and social upheaval.

The Roles of Good and Evil Clearly Distributed –

Nearly 30 years later, the invisible wall reaches higher/further than ever, projecting itself protectively over those who still connect their simple, dichotomous worldview with a “progressive” claim. Under the closed cheese bell of political correctness the roles of good and evil are clearly distributed. The US president with the light blond hair is the new Hitler. Refugees and migrants are a kind of modern angelic society, which call the old white heterosexual men their historical guilt into consciousness. Islam means peace, and the world’s discriminated and persecuted Muslims are the new Jews. All good people, regardless of their origin, culture or religion, could celebrate permanent multicultural festivals if it weren´t for the Nazis and Pegida Germans who rise like zombies from their musty graves.
The mainstream ripples, propelled by politicians, church leaders, media builders and artists. Since Angela Merkel set the course for uncontrolled mass migration a year and a half ago, unpolitical people are also indifferent to the left – wing extremist “no border nation” ideology: no borders or controls in the La – La country, no man is illegal (Except racists and right-wing populists)! The last philistine feels finally “cosmopolitan”. And the consequences of this ideology for him(the last philistine) – a shifting of the external border controls right down to the next village festival and the final break down of all social cohesion – to which he has no overview/perspective. Even if he disregards keeping boundaries of any kind, the left is watching the boundaries of the invisible wall, making sure it is respected. He doesn´t want to be embarrassed by crossing the line: just say nothing wrong, just do not applaud for the wrong side and always remain beautifully in the main stream!

THEY DO NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF THEIR “TRUMAN SHOW”

Strangely enough, many of those who already shielded their gaze from the wall, because of the unpleasant truths found there that had threatened their world view, are now similarly “disturbed” when faced with criticism of Islam. They know nothing about the persecution of Christians in Islamic countries and do not want to know anything about them. The fact that immigration without clear rules entails serious social upheaval; That Muslim mass migration has many problematic sides; That the Islamic violence could be created in the Koran because of the contempt for the “unbelievers” and the prohibition of apostasy – “No, there is no such wickedness! No, I do not want to hear! “They do not want to be pulled out of their” Truman show “.

This closes the circle of generations. The grandchildren who wanted to do anything different from their grandfathers who believe they are on the safe side, just because they are not on the “right”, prove to be similarly seducted and entangled in their own life lies, like similar followers, as similarly blind and deaf for unpleasant truths. There is, however, a difference: our generation of grandfathers should have had to resist the conditions of a dictatorship that did not hesitate to have people shot because of a political joke. The risk of the generation of grandchildren passing through the invisible wall is much less: it only takes a little civil courage not to bother with the herd, to trust one’s own perception, and to activate one’s own thinking.

          • Thanks for that, I often see the expression new Jews used about Muslims in the West, but the simple fact is that we in Europe are the new Jews… and the Swedes and Germans are first in the queue with the rest of us not far behind…

            • If the Jewish people had all voted for Hitler, then yeah, the Swedes are the new Jews. But actually, the Swedes and the Norwegians are actually the New Nazis as they demanded these policies, and hate the actual Jewish citizens of Sweden and Norway both then and now.

Even Swedish expats here have been reported to say that they want to return to Sweden and teach antisemitism.

I certainly feel for the rational, non communist Swedes and Norwegians that never wanted any of this, but to quote Obama, “Elections have consequences” and I think if Swedes have changed their minds they should fix the problem and be seen to be fixing the problem, at their end before they even ask for help.

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/763905/Migrant-gang-SNATCH-woman-s-baby-Serbia-attack

“A GROUP of migrants have been arrested in Serbia on suspicion of trying to snatch a baby from a woman as she walked down the street.

Ana Blazic told local media she was pushing her newborn son in his pram while out with her two young nephews in Obrenovac, close to the Serbian capital of Belgrade.

She said one man approached her and pushed her over before trying to take the pram with her baby inside.

Ms Blazic said: “I fell on the other migrant, and the two others were standing to the side.

“Somehow, I reached the carriage and started to pull it back.

“Many things crossed my mind in that moment. I thought my baby would fall out of the pram and be hurt and paralysed.

“I thought they would take my baby that I had waited so long for.

“I fought with all my strength not to let them take him away from me.”

She said the migrants were scared off by a man who was passing by and began shouting at them…”

  2. Fast food restaurant forced to overturn niqab ban after angry backlash over veil veto (express, Feb 6, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/763976/Niqab-ban-Prague-fast-food-restaurant-overturned

“A FAST FOOD owner has sparked anger after he banned women wearing niqabs from being served in his eaterie.

The chicken take-away in Prague in the Czech Republic had posted a sign with a woman wearing a face veil with a red circle around it.

But one of the owners of the Pikant Grill, who is said to belong to the Freedom and Direct Democracy party known as the SPD has taken the sign down after a backlash.

Owner Pavel Ne?ásek told a local newspaper he was annoyed at the negative advertising after the story broke in the press.

He told bleskcz: “It bothered me how it all indulged by the media.

“We’ve had the sticker for a year and nobody noticed.

“Over the last week there was media attention and it’s the kind of negative advertising we do do not really need.

“Look, I think it is more important that people to know that there’s simply good chicken, but that there was a sticker plastered on the walls.”

Last week the restaurant’s co-owner Vitezslav Novak, a member of the SDP, a eurosceptic and pro-direct democracy political party in the Czech Republic said he banned the veil for security reasons.

He said: “If somebody comes in with only their eyes on show and nothing else, I would not serve him of her.

“Because I do not know what to expect from that person.

“I am afraid. I worry about myself, about my colleagues and about everyone.

“I just really worry about me and my family.”

But the publicity surrounding the ban inflamed and started a row in the neighbourhood.

One lawyer, named Jiri Vyvadil, said the sticker is “discriminating.”

He said: “If an entrepreneur offers his services, then he is required to offer them to anybody.”

For the past two years the Czech republic has seen a spate of protests and a move towards the far right in the country.

In 2015, police in Prague confirmed 800 people protested, holding up banners saying “send them back!” and “protect the borders” against the Euopean migrant crisis.

While in August last year German chancellor Angela Merkel faced ugly scenes when she visited the country.

Police had to arrest a man who allegedly attempted to “assassinate” Mrs Merkel during a trip to the Czech Republic.

The man attempted to drive into a convoy the Chancellor was traveling in and “run down police”.”

“The Egyptian Dar Al Ifta’s Islamophobia Watch warned on Monday of the negative impact of political Islam, specifically the Muslim brotherhood group, on Muslims in Germany.

Islamophobia Watch said in a statement posted on Facebook that political Islam would “create panic and fear of Muslims in German society,” in light of press reports saying that “political Islam and Muslim Brotherhood affiliates are moving to Germany as one of the safe havens for the group.”

The Muslim Brotherhood was designated a terrorist organisation by the Egyptian government in December 2013 after the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi earlier that year…”

“Islamic radicals from the Muslim Brotherhood are actively trying to gain a “monopoly” over mosques in the eastern German state of Saxony to attract more followers and increase their influence, the local security service chief has warned.

The members of the radical Salafist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, which was established in Egypt in 1928, “have long been active in Saxony, although they were stealthy,” Gordian Meyer-Plath, the president of the regional department of the German domestic security and anti-terrorist service, the BfV, told Germany’s MDR broadcaster.

Meyer-Plath warned, however, that “only now, when a [large] number of Muslims have come to Germany, do they see a chance to expand their network beyond some central structures and become interesting for the new Muslims in Saxony.”

While downplaying the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany as being “beyond Jihad,” meaning that the group is not actively involved in terrorist attacks, the security official pointed to the threat it poses to democratic society…”

    https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2017/02/207505/moroccos-high-religious-committee-says-apostates-should-not-be-killed/

“Morocco’s High Religious Committee has retracted its Islamic ruling stating that apostasy is punishable by death and has decided to permit Muslims to change their religion.

The High Religious Committee in charge of issuing Fatwas (Islamic rulings) released a book in 2012 where it articulated its position on apostasy and argued that a Muslim who changes his or her religion should be punished with death, drawing on a widespread jurisprudence tradition.

Recently, however, the same entity issued a document titled “The Way of the Scholars,” in which it backtracked on its position of killing apostates. Instead, it redefined apostasy not as a religious issue but as a political stand more closely aligned with “high treason.”

The view that the apostate should not be killed in Islam is not a new one and can be found in the teachings of Sufyan al-Thawri in the first century AH. The scholar reviewed historical situations where the prophet Mohammed acted on the ruling, as opposed to the times he did not order the killing of the apostates. He concluded that killings occurred for political purposes and were not decisions based on religion. The apostates could, theoretically, disclose the secrets of the then fragile Islamic nation…”

“Troops from five Sahel countries plan to set up a new counter-terror force in the region, where alarm over the jihadist threat is mounting, leaders said Monday in Mali’s capital.

The announcement came as leaders of the Sahel G5 states – Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger – that describe themselves as “in the frontline against terrorism”, met to discuss the desert zone’s perilous security situation.

The gathering took place barely three weeks after the worst attack in the region for years, the January 18 suicide bombing in the northern Malian city of Gao that left almost 80 people dead.

“To better combat terrorism in G5 countries, we have decided to implement the creation of a G5 force,” President Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger told a press conference.

“Beirut: As many as 13,000 people were hanged in five years at a notorious Syrian government prison near Damascus, Amnesty International said Tuesday, accusing the regime of a “policy of extermination.”

Titled “Human Slaughterhouse: Mass hanging and extermination at Saydnaya prison,” Amnesty’s damning report is based on interviews with 84 witnesses, including guards, detainees, and judges.

It found that at least once a week between 2011 and 2015, groups of up to 50 people were taken out of their prison cells for arbitrary trials, beaten, then hanged “in the middle of the night and in total secrecy.”

“Throughout this process, they remain blindfolded. They do not know when or how they will die until the noose was placed around their necks,” the rights group wrote.

Most of the victims were civilians believed to be opposed to the government of President Bashar Al Assad…”

    • Hearsay Extrapolated – Amnesty Claims Mass Executions In Syria, Provides Zero Proof

A new Amnesty International report claims that the Syrian government hanged between 5,000 and 13,000 prisoners in a military prison in Syria. The evidence for that claim is flimsy, based on hearsay of anonymous people outside of Syria. The numbers themselves are extrapolations that no scientist or court would ever accept. It is tabloid reporting and fiction style writing from its title “Human Slaughterhouse” down to the last paragraph.

But the Amnesty report is still not propagandish enough for the anti-Syrian media. Inevitably only the highest number in the range Amnesty claims is quoted. For some even that is not yet enough. The Associate Press agency, copied by many outlets, headlines: Report: At least 13,000 hanged in Syrian prison since 2011:

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/764033/hungary-new-migrants-camps-asylum-applications-processed-victor-orban-kovacs-eu

“HUNGARY is set to detain all migrants entering the country and process their asylum applications before allowing them to move onto other EU nations, a government spokesman announced.

Migrants who have arrived in Hungary will have to stay in makeshift camps across the nation unless they decide to return home or their application is successful and they can move on, a spokesman for Hungarian prime minister Victor Orban announced last night.

Mr Kovacs, a spokesman for Mr Orban said: “Liberty comes only after security.

“If you are not able to provide security for your own country, how can you guarantee liberties?”

The new policy expected to be rolled out by Hungary could put the sovereign state in direct conflict with the EU’s own migrant policy, which urges nations states to accept a certain amount of refugees.

Mr Kovacs himself blasted the Brussels bloc and claimed it was “lagging behind reality” when it came to tackling the migrant crisis…”

“Hungary will submit proposals to the EU to protect Europe’s borders by automatically detaining any asylum seeker for the whole period of their asylum application, according to the government’s chief spokesman, Zoltán Kovács.

Kovács claimed Donald Trump’s election in the US was contributing to “a change of mood in Europe” that vindicated the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán’s tough position on migration, and said the recent EU summit in Malta marked a turning point in the EU’s attitude to migration in the Mediterranean.

At a briefing in London, he said anyone seeking asylum through Hungary would be kept in “shelters” for the whole period of their application, though they would be free to go back to their own country at any point.

He said: “No migrants – not even those who have already issued their request for asylum – will be able move freely until there is a primary legal decision whether they are entitled for political asylum, refugee status or anything else, so they are not entitled to move freely in the country.”

He predicted applications would take many months to process and each case would need to be examined individually rather than as a group. It is not clear how many asylum applicants would be processed in the camps, or whether the EU will sanction the plan…”

  13. ‘BECOME A SUICIDE BOMBER’ Posters Hit London
The posters are an attempt to compare suicide bombers to the crew of a British naval nuclear submarine.

Posters calling on the public to “become a suicide bomber” have appeared at bus stops across London. The posters purport to be recruitment posters for the Royal Navy, but feature a picture of British naval servicemen in the crosshairs of a sniper rifle.

“The crew of our nuclear submarines are on a suicide mission,” the text reads. “To launch their missiles means death is certain, not just for them, but for the millions of innocent people those bombs will obliterate, and for the rest of us too.”

The posters were made by a political activism group called Special Patrol Group and designed by the British artist Darren Cullen.

“The inspiration for the project came from finding out that the crew of a nuclear submarine would not survive the deployment of Trident,” Cullen told The Telegraph.

“I’d never heard this discussed before. When we think about Trident we don’t tend to imagine the crew out on a suicide mission.

“It struck me as another example of the ethical double standard we have in the West when it comes to which types of violence we condemn.

“EU states must issue entry visas to people at risk of torture or inhuman treatment, the European Court of Justice’s top adviser has said.

The advice concerns the case of a Syrian family denied visas by Belgium, which argues it is not obliged to admit everyone from a war zone.

If the court accepts the finding, critics say it could open up a new path for migrants to reach Europe.

But Belgium’s immigration minister has pointed out the advice is not binding.

Theo Francken said member states and the European Commission were “aware of the great precedent value” such a ruling would set.

In a similar recent case, he vowed not to open the door to “asylum chaos”.

“POPULIST leader Geert Wilders today laid into a senior EU official after she suggested that the bloc will “collapse” unless it maintains high levels of immigration.

The anti-Islam politician said the remarks by Federica Mogherini, Brussels’ effective foreign minister, showed that his country must leave the EU after its elections in March.

In an interview the Italian eurocrat said it was an “illusion” that immigration can be significantly reduced and argued Europe’s ageing population means it would sink without the arrival of young migrants.

Mr Wilders, whose stance on immigration is highly controversial, has been leading the polls in the Netherlands for some time and is expected to lead the largest party in its parliament come April.

“AN IRAQI child was “bitten to death” with a medieval torture device which was covered in poison – just for stepping outside her house – in the ISIS run hell-hole Mosul.

While troops work to free the city from its current rule of terror, civilians inside the city are facing barbaric treatment.

The tiny girl was punished with a clamp with four ends as sharp as knives, like teeth, which can pierce the skin from both sides when pressed down.

The youngster, named Faten, was punished after stepping over the threshold of her home while cleaning.

When she was caught by the Hisbah police or so-called “morality police” her mother was told to choose how she would pay for her crimes, being offered the chance to take the punishment herself.

Believing her child would be bitten by a human, Faten’s mother opted for the girl to endure the cruel punishment.

But, she was horrified when the clamp was bought out and she realised her daughter would be seriously injured.

Members of the female al-Khansa brigade brandished the device and used it on Faten.

German news agency dpa reported Tuesday that the Dresden regional court issued the fine to Akif Pirincci on Feb. 1.

Pirincci was a speaker at a rally staged in the eastern city in October 2015 by a group called the Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West, or PEGIDA. He described asylum-seekers as “invaders” and lamented that the Nazi’s concentration camps had been closed.

Pirincci is best known for his novel “Felidae,” a thriller written from a cat’s perspective. He has gained a following among Germany’s far right because of his vocal criticism of Islam. Pirincci reportedly plans to appeal the fine.”

  30. Dresden’s bitter divide over Aleppo-inspired bus barricade sculpture

Recreating three vertical buses used to stop sniper fire in Syria is ‘an abuse of artistic freedom’ say rightwingers in German city devastated in WWII

To some Dresdeners, the towers of rusty metal are nothing but a distraction from the reconstituted glory of their city centre. To others, they are a thought-provoking reminder that the city was itself a pile of rubble not that long ago.

A new installation in the heart of the east German city, unveiled on Tuesday and entitled Monument, recreates one of the most surreal images to have emerged from the Syrian civil war: three buses propped up vertically in an Aleppo street to build a barricade against sniper fire.

Devised by Syrian-German artist Manaf Halbouni, 32, the sculpture has been installed in front of the famous Frauenkirche church just a week before the 72nd anniversary of the start of the 1945 Allied air raids, which unleashed a firestorm on the city, killing approximately 25,000 people, most of them civilians.

However, the buses are being seen by some in Dresden as a provocation, and a way to block protest marches organised by the anti-Islam Pegida movement, which has used the Neumarkt square as a rallying point.

A statement issued by the local branch of Germany’s rightwing populist party Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) decried Halbouni’s artwork as an “abuse of artistic freedom” deliberately designed to “snub the citizens of Dresden and drive Pegida on to the barricades”, overshadowing the central symbol of Dresden’s post-reunification revival with “scrap metal”.

The official unveiling on Tuesday led to tumultuous scenes in the city centre, with protesters and supporters jostling each other in a large crowd in front of the artwork. Mayor Dirk Hilbert’s speech was largely drowned out by a crowd of people booing, jeering and shouting “Go away!”

Halbouni, denounced by the AfD statement as a “rootless wanderer”, has close ties to Dresden. His Syrian father met his German mother while studying architecture at the city’s university. Together they moved to Damascus in 1979. Halbouni was born there but returned frequently to Germany in his youth. He has childhood memories of the Frauenkirche church when it was still in ruins. Since 2009, he has been based at the city’s school of fine arts.

Responding to the AfD, the artist said, in a roundabout way, his critics were partly correct: “I am rootless, in the sense that the war has taken my childhood away from me, by killing or scattering the friends of my youth all over the globe,” he said. “Since then I have been in transit, because I still feel that people here struggle to take me seriously as a German.”

On the Facebook page of one local rightwing activist network, users criticised the artwork as a deliberate attempt to shame native Germans and belittle their historic suffering. “Since the fall of the wall we are apparently only allowed to be perpetrators, not victims”, one statement read.

This month, Hilbert, a member of Germany’s liberal party, received death threats after criticising attempts to create a “victimhood myth”, saying that “Dresden was anything but an innocent city”.

The mayor’s supporters point out that the city has just secured funds for the completion for a new memorial inside the Busmann Chapel, which will name 19,000 of the known victims of the 1945 raids. The contemporary art gallery behind Monument is also hosting an exhibition that deals with the plight of Germans expelled from Poland after the war.

On Monday afternoon, as two cranes lifted the buses, originally from Bayreuth, into an upright position, Halbouni was joined by two visibly outraged pensioners on their bikes. “This is absolute nonsense, a complete scandal,” said the local man, who declined to give his name but said he had lost both his parents during the bombings. “You just wait and see what will happen here in the coming weeks.”

One of the curators behind the project suggested that the image of the upright buses may help a generation of younger Dresdeners think about the horror and devastation caused by war. But the man on his bike shook his head: “Too complicated. And Dresdeners already know that anyway.”

    • Germany: Aleppo-inspired monument divides opinion in Dresden

A bus barricade memorial designed by Syrian-born artist Manaf Halbouni was unveiled on Dresden’s Neumarkt Square, Tuesday.

Described as a peace memorial, the installation sets three buses together, erected on their sides, next to Frauenkirche church. It is said to draw parallels between the recent Syrian war and the bombing of Dresden in 1945. Halbouni was reportedly inspired to create the public art piece after witnessing residents of Aleppo standing bombed-out buses on their sides as a form of protection from sharpshooters in video footage seen in 2015.

SOT, Marius Michel, local citizen (German): “What comes first to my mind is that, we see that is a very polarising topic. I can capture many negative opinions here as well as positive views, but predominantly negative I would say. The meaning [of the artwork] is quite current even on a historical place like this, it is quite interesting. ”

SOT, Marius Michel, local citizen (German): “In my opinion it is good, it draws attention here to Dresden, Pegida is a bit leveled by this. Someone has criticised that the artist, the half Syrian, gets protection from police and that’s why it is paid by us who live here, but then how much does Pegida cost each Monday with the police squads when we weight them against each other?”

  31. The Evolving Threat Of Jihad In The West
    And how we’re handicapping ourselves.

One of the most important stories related to the September 11 attacks was the one that was deliberately left largely untold. That story is the response of some Muslims in America to the massacre of nearly 3,000 people by Islamic supremacists in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

According to a Washington Post article published on September 18, 2001, in Jersey City, New Jersey, across the river from the destroyed World Trade Center, “Within hours of the two jetliners plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.”

  40. Thanks, Obama: Hillary Found A New Reason For Her Loss To Trump

    [Slightly stale, but still hilarious]

Hillary Clinton’s staff is still furious over her loss, and more than anything, they blame former President Barack Obama. The camps are clashing over the heated blame game. Clinton’s side insists Obama was the biggest reason she lost, according to Clinton staffers that spoke with Axios. They think his lack of support was more harmful than her scandals, Russian interference in the election or FBI Director James Comey’s investigation. Obama didn’t do enough, wasn’t active enough and should have been much less cautious in imposing sanctions on Russia, Clinton’s camp said.

“The White House was like everyone else: They thought she’d win anyway,” a member of Clinton’s campaign told Axios. “If he had done more, it might have lessened a lot of aggrieved feelings, although I don’t think it would have altered the outcome. The Russia thing was like a spy novel, and anything he said or did would have helped get people to believe it was real.”

Obama doesn’t seem to feel the same way about an election that should have been “an easy layup of a win.”

An Obama aide told Axios the White House didn’t come out harshly against Russia because they didn’t want to be seen as politicizing the hacks and using them to grandstand. If they had done so, the aide said, cooperation with Republicans on the state level would have “collapsed.”

He previously made a perceived dig at Clinton in a White House press conference Nov. 14 — six days after her loss to now-President Donald Trump. “I won Iowa not because the demographics dictated that I would win Iowa. It was because I spent 87 days going to every small town and fair and fish fry and VFW Hall, and there were some counties where I might have lost, but maybe I lost by 20 points instead of 50 points,” Obama said. “There’s some counties maybe I won, that people didn’t expect, because people had a chance to see you and listen to you and get a sense of who you stood for and who you were fighting for.”

Clinton lost Iowa to Trump 41.7 percent to 51.1 percent, according to Ballotpedia. Obama won Iowa in both 2008 and 2012.

Finally figured that out, did she? Who’s she going to blame next, her serial-rapist husband?

I wonder when she’ll eventually realize that she’s just a corrupt, detestable hag that no one can stand and that’s why she lost an election that was supposed to be such a lead pipe cinch.

    Haw haw!

“Muslims outnumber Christian pupils in more than 30 church schools nationwide, including one which proudly proclaims to have a “100 per cent Muslim population”.

The Church of England has estimated that around 20 of its schools have more Muslim than Christian background pupils, while according to the Catholic Education Service, about 15 Catholic schools said the same.

St. Thomas in Werneth, Oldham, has no Christian pupils according to its website, although the Rev Nick Andrewes, who chairs the school’s governors says that figure is “a little out of date”. While 98 per cent of pupils attending Staincliffe C of E Junior School in Batley, West Yorkshire, “come from a Muslim background”, according to its most recent religious inspection report in 2015.

The Rev Nigel Genders, the Church of England’s chief education officer, has told The Times that at Bishop Bridgeman C of E Primary School in Bolton, 90 per cent of pupils were Muslim.

He added: “Yet it feels like a Church of England school.”…”
