A Christmas market Santa Claus was sacked in Germany after sharing a post from the hipster-right Identitarian movement which called for action against the increasing number of child marriages in the country.
The Bavarian town of Mühldorf has fired the man who has dressed up as Father Christmas for over 30 years because of the social media post he shared on his Facebook page. Peter Mück has been a staple of the annual Christkindlmarkt, or Christmas market, in the town for over a generation, handing out sweets to local children, The Telegraph reports.
A German Santa Claus has been fired after sharing a post calling for an end to child marriages in the country.
Peter Muck worked the Christmas market in the Bavarian town of Muhldorf for more than 30 years. But it all came crashing down when he shared the Facebook post.
Muck said he supports an anti-migration youth movement campaigning against the growing trend of child marriages among Muslim migrants in Germany.
The post featured the slogan: “Child marriage = child abuse” with Muck adding: “The core message of which is correct and justifiable for me.”
Socialist Marianne Zollner was quick to play Scrooge.
“I explained to him that this movement, in my view, does not respect the equality and dignity of all people, or our democratic values, and that this attitude was not compatible with the work of portraying Santa Claus,” she told the U.K. Daily Telegraph.
Now, Zollner is getting slammed online for allegedly protecting pedophiles.
Party representative Martin Sellner said he was baffled that Muck was canned for expressing a sentiment most Germans agree with.
“These are methods like in the Stalinist DDR (East Germany),” he told Breitbart London.
“The multiculturalist elite is in panic mode and flailing around wildly in a rage of censorship. They have learned nothing. With every citizen they hurt, we are getting new sympathizers.”

The city of Amsterdam rejected a request by the Wester Mosque in Amsterdam-West to amplify the Muslim call to prayer from its 42-meter-high (138-foot) minaret.

But when Amsterdam Mayor Eberhard van der Laan visited the mosque last week, congregants requested that the call be projected from loudspeakers. The mayor rejected the request immediately.

There is a direct correlation between the number of immigrants entering the country and the rise in the crime rate, according to a report published Wednesday by the Italian daily, Il Giornale.
In its front page report titled “More Immigrants = More Crime,” the newspaper cited results from a recent study conducted by the Confcommercio group on the statistical connection between crime and immigration.
The report found that in a determined area, if the number of immigrants increases by 1 percent, the crime rate in the same area goes up by 0.4 percent.
Moreover, the study revealed that among Italian citizens there are 4.3 convicted criminals per 1000, while among legal immigrants the rate is nearly double, at 8.5 criminals per 1000. More alarming still, among illegal immigrants the crime rate soars to more than 50 percent (148 criminals out of every 247 persons).
One of the more troubling discoveries of the study was that for the first time, the crime rate in the north of Italy, which has the highest concentration of immigrants and asylum seekers, is surpassing that of the south.

An Islamic cleric, Alfa Ganiyu Umaru, is being detained by the police for allegedly killing his landlord in one-storeyed building in Agbotikuyo bus stop, Ipaja, Lagos State.
This is just as relatives and friends of the 45-year-old victim, Tajudeen Popoola, said they had yet to come to terms with the reality of his death.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Umaru, who hails from Ilorin, Kwara State, and Tajudeen had been at loggerheads for some time over Umaru’s alleged immoral behaviour.
He was said to have criticised the cleric for drinking and performing rituals on the ground that such acts contravened Islamic doctrines. It was said the criticism usually resulted in exchange of words between both.
The matter, however, came to a head when Tajudeen returned from a football viewing centre around 8pm on Sunday and reportedly met Umaru and his friends drinking alcohol in front of the building.
The landlord was said to have rebuked the suspect, leading to an altercation after which they both retired to their respective apartments.

A Muslim imam in Denmark has been charged under the nation’s racism ban after he posted online a sermon calling Jews the “offspring of apes and pigs,” an interpretation of the Quran held by many Muslim scholars.
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khaled Samha was speaking at a mosque run by the Islamic Society of Denmark in Vollsmose, a suburb of Odense, the Middle East Media Research Institute reported Tuesday.
Reports in Danish-language media said Nov. 14 that Samha had been indicted for violating Article 266b of Denmark’s penal code.
Police said he was speaking to a large congregation in the mosque in September 2014, and the speech later was publicized on the Internet.
Prosecutor Maria Fano Fred Loop said the 58-year-old defendant denied the charges.
In the speech, Samha also reportedly said: “Oh Muslims, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”
He was citing the Hadith of Bukhari, a sacred collection of the sayings and teachings of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad.
The penalty could be up to two years behind bars.

As the African males approach the ship, they capsize their own boats, pretending to be in distress at sea because they assume the ship is equipped to pick up refugees. Is it only after they realize the crew atop the fishing boat is physically unable to provide help that the situation escalates and the Africans start screaming for their life as they drown.
The sailor repeatedly shouts “calma” (stay calm) in Italian in the hope that the immigrants heading for Italy prepared with some basic Italian and understand him. The crew were reluctant to help since letting them on board would have been a serious security risk as it would have them outnumbered 10 to 1. There is also the risk of piracy with hijackers posing as refugees as camouflage. They also appear to only have two lifeboats, so throwing one down just so the migrants would sink it would have made no sense for the crew.
The only way to help would be individuals of the crew rappelling down to to the sea line, which would most likely result in their own death as the immigrants would drag them down.
The EU politicians and all the Leftists supporting the human traffickers and mass invasion of African males by sea are directly responsible for every single death by drowning. If the EU were to pursue a “NO WAY” policy that denies citizenship to anybody illegally approaching the country b boat, such as Australia has done, Europe could successfully reduce the total amount of illegal immigrants coming by sea to zero.

Police opened an investigation Monday after eight books — most of them about Islam and the Quran — were reported as defaced with “graffiti and racist language” at Evanston Public Library.
Police were notified at 5:41 p.m. that the books, one of which was by author Glenn Beck, were defaced “with derogatory remarks” at the library at 1703 Orrington Ave., said Evanston Police Cmdr. Joe Dugan.

A statement on the library’s website said the books were marked with “graffiti and racist language and imagery.”
The Glenn Beck book was last checked out in June and the others have not been checked out since 2014 and 2015, Dugan said. An evidence technician was called to the scene to process the books.
“Since the time frame is so big it is going to be hard to investigate and get some leads if we cannot narrow it down,” he said in a statement. “We are currently working on a time frame of occurrence being June until Nov. 21.”

A spate of attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria last weekend left 45 dead and several more injured.
The attacks took place in five villages in the Kauru Local Government Area, in the Middle Belt state of Kaduna – an area mostly populated by Christians, on Sunday 13 November.
Most of the victims were women, children and the elderly, who could not escape the gunfire of the attackers, believed to be Fulani herdsmen. One hundred and twenty houses, including eight house-churches, were burnt down.
A resident of Kitakum (one of the villages), Samuel Adamu, told World Watch Monitor the attackers came at around 7pm local time.
“They laid siege to the village before they started shooting sporadically and throwing explosives at our homes,” he said. “They were armed with guns, knives, machetes and explosives.
“They slaughtered [and] butchered women, children and old people who could not escape.”
Adamu accused the government of failing to stop the persistent attacks that have claimed hundreds of lives in southern Kaduna.

The imam of Galway Mosque has warned that extremist groups from Pakistan “are coming to Ireland” in a bid to recruit young Muslims here to study and fight abroad.
Over the weekend, Islamic State announced that Dublin man Khalid Kelly had taken his own life as a suicide bomber in Iraq.
Kelly – also known as Abu Usama Al-Irlandi – is believed to have died during fighting in the city of Mosul. It has been reported that nobody else was killed in the attack.
Kelly was born and raised in Dublin, and converted to Islam in 2000. He was radicalised during the time he spent in prison in Saudi Arabia, after he was caught brewing alcohol.
He spoke to Pat Kenny about his life and beliefs during a Late Late Show interview in 2003, alongside British preacher Anjem Choudary, who was convicted of supporting Islamic State earlier this year.

Slovakia’s prime minister, Robert Fico, has hit out at journalists questioning him about allegations that public procurement rules had been broken during the country’s EU presidency, describing them as “dirty, anti-Slovak prostitutes”.

LONDON (Thomson Reuters Foundation) – Nearly one in three migrant children tracked by a refugee charity have gone missing since the “Jungle” camp in the northern French town of Calais was dismantled in October, the organization said on Wednesday.
Refugee Youth Service said it could not locate a third of the 179 child migrants it had been tracking since authorities bulldozed the Jungle, home to up to 10,000 people fleeing war or poverty in the Middle East and Africa.
The fate of children staying in the squalid camp where migrants converged in the hope of making it across to Britain, has been a political problem for the British government.
Religious leaders, refugee rights campaign groups and opposition parties have accused Britain of dragging its heels in helping to deal with unaccompanied children.

“The head of Germany’s second largest police union has harshly attacked the country’s justice system, after a court in Wuppertal ruled that so-called “sharia police” are legal.
Rainer Wendt, head of the German Police Union (DpolG), told the Passauer Neue Presse (PNP) on Wednesday that the German judiciary are far too weak in dealing with known criminals.
“These days the full force of the law often means we collect personal details from offenders and the judges let them go free,” said Wendt.
Wendt was referring to two recent incidents which involved the German judiciary.
On Monday a court in the western town of Wuppertal ruled that a group of Islamists did not break the law in forming “sharia police” street patrols and telling people to stop drinking, gambling and listening to music.
The city’s district court ruled that the seven accused members of the group did not breach a ban on political uniforms when they approached people while wearing orange vests bearing the words “Sharia Police”.
The decision came less than a week after police in several German states worked around the clock to carry out raids against the Salafist scene.
“That is an unbelievable and devastating signal,” said Wendt, adding that police ”feel completely failed by the justice system.”
The union boss also claimed that the justice system was at fault in the case of a man who tied the mother of his child to a rope and dragged her behind his car on Sunday.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently in an induced coma in a hospital in Hanover.
Wendt told the PNP that the 38-year-old man was a known offender with a long criminal record to his name, adding that only two days before the crime, the victim had reported him to police.
“A judge will be found who will say that he has a good chance of being rehabilitated,” according to Wendt.”

The Scandinavian country has kept maintained a hard stance on the European migrant crisis and successfully challenged European Union migrant quotas, which enabled them to maintain the regular border checks introduced at the beginning of this year, and designed to limit the flow of irregular migrants.
EU law suggests members of the bloc can only bring in emergency frontier controls for an initial period of two months, which can be extended to a maximum of six months in extreme circumstances.
Speaking on Euronews’ Global Conversation, Ms Solberg said: “It is part of our normal educational system that you are discussing why people are fleeing from countries, what is the convention what is the responsibilities we have, this is all part of the school curriculum in Norway.
“There is also a clear view that if you move and get refuge, you have to live by Norwegian standards, you can’t come and think you live in your home country when it comes to women’s rights, not to be puzzled if you see two men kiss on the street, because there are gay people in our countries and it is normal, it’s part of our system.”
Upon being challenged about religious differences between her country and that of arriving migrants, she rebuked: “I do not think it is a complex issue that if you are going to come to country.
“You have to work to sustain a living, you cannot say no to jobs like working in a restaurant where they will serve pork or alcohol.
“You cannot expect that the Norwegian society will pay you benefits if you are refusing to work for religious reasons.
“There are too lower of migrants women working in Norway, we know that some reasons are they have a lot of children, so that is work in itself.
“But sometimes it is also because they make some demands that make it more difficult for them to get a job and sometimes it is because their husbands don’t like to see them get too involved in Norwegian society, because then they get a taste of freedom of women in our society, so there is also some type of patriarchy in this.”

One shopper reported that the entire Christmas range was on display on Friday, but had disappeared when she visited the next day. The Dortmund resident said when she arrived at Woolworths on Saturday she was greeted by “empty shelves, which had been full the day before”.

Combatting racism and hate crimes has been one of the top priorities for the Swedish red-green coalition government, which describes itself as “overtly feminist.” During its tenure, the Swedish government has spent an extra 156 million SEK ($17mln) on the eradication of racism and hate speech. In the draft budget for 2017, an extra 40 million SEK ($4.5mln) was allocated.

Three Turkish soldiers killed in suspected Syrian government air strike
An air strike “thought to have been carried” out by Syrian government forces killed three Turkish soldiers and wounded 10 others, one of them seriously, early on Nov. 24, the Turkish Armed Forces has announced.
The attack occurred at around 3:30 am in the course of the Operations Euphrates Shield in northern Syria, the army statement said, adding that the wounded soldiers were evacuated rapidly from the area.
It is the first time Turkish soldiers are known to have been killed by Syrian government forces in the offensive which was launched on Aug. 24.
Because there were no Syrian opposition causalities and the air strike hit a provisional Turkish military quarter in the region, the strike is believed to have intentionally targeted the Turkish army, according to initial assessments in Ankara.

Germany: Refugees rally against poor conditions in Berlin migrant camps
Refugees staying at the Lager Camp in Wedding, Berlin organised a protest against the poor conditions and facilities inside the camp, Thursday.
One refugee, Zohrre Jafar, who has been at the camp for just over a year, said “it is super hard to live inside the camp because you have to wait to use any facilities inside like the bathrooms and when you have children like me it is even worse.”

An Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) flag was discovered by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) after a raid escalated into a shootout that left two militants and two FSB officers dead in Nazran, Ingushetia on Thursday.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee said security services surrounded the house after receiving a tip-off. The two men refused to surrender and opened fire on the officers.

Italy: Turin’s ex-Olympic village on lockdown after arson attack targets refugees at site
Police were on site at Turin’s former Olympic village, Thursday, after Torino ultras allegedly attacked the building, currently hosting refugees, with homemade explosives overnight.
Traffic around the area remained blocked on Thursday, with signs of fire damage still visible outside the building. Following the attack, migrants staying inside the former Olympic site reportedly came out on the street in their hundreds, blocking the road.
No one was injured by the explosions, which according to eye witnesses were caused by a homemade letter bomb.

Gilbert Rozon said criticism of the 45-second spot is “100 per cent fair,” and it will be redone over the weekend.
The commercial is for a show that will air next month on four French-language networks and unveils elements of the programming for next year’s celebrations.
It features a number of mainstays from Quebec’s star system, including musicians Beau Dommage playing as they overlook the city, actress and director Denise Filiatrault riding in a taxi and Céline Dion singing on a counter at Schwartz’s deli.
Rozon said the new version of the ad will accurately reflect the show, which he says features a more diverse list of guests.
Asked to explain the original ad, Rozon said it’s a matter of people having to change their mentalities and keep diversity in mind.
“I think things are evolving in the right direction,” he said.
Not my Montreal
Nakuset, co-chair of the Montreal Urban Aboriginal Community Strategy Network, said the video doesn’t reflect the reality of Montreal.
“I think people don’t know there are 26,000 urban Aboriginal Montrealers. We are here, and we are multitalented, doing all different kinds of work … and yet, people don’t recognize us,” she said.
Nakuset is worried the celebrations will skip over Montreal’s long history with the Indigenous community.
“We were not consulted. Our projects were put forward, and they were denied,” she said.
“I brought up the concerns and there has been some change, which is good, but we’re still waiting to see what the end result will be.”
Rozon said the committee is working with members of the city’s black and Indigenous communities to make sure they are included in the celebrations.
‘Our greatest asset’
La Presse columnist Marc Cassivi, who called attention to the lack of diversity in a column, said he didn’t intend to point fingers at anyone specifically.
“It’s media in general that doesn’t portray Montreal as it is, and we have to think about that. We have to stop thinking about how we see ourselves, but how reality is, what Montreal is,” he said.
Rozon said some people see the city’s multiculturalism as a disadvantage, but he doesn’t share that opinion.
“I’ve always said it publicly, the fact that Montreal is Molière meeting Shakespeare is probably our greatest asset, but also the fact that we have this diversity makes a big difference,” he said.
“This is the way we’re going to survive and make a difference in the world. That’s my personal opinion, and I have to obviously deliver the goods.”
