  1. Lets see Omar Jamal says the U.S. has failed to do what is necessary to win the hearts and minds of muslims.
    So what has the U.S. done?
    They are out of the constant war in Somali or where ever, most receive welfare of one sort or another and medical services they never could have dreamed of. If they want to go to schools and learn things they would never have had the opportunity to learn where they came form, it is there for them. So what happens, they go to muslim schools that teach sharia, not the U.S. Constitution. So many of them do not want to do what it takes to be successful as an American. Some have been here 20 years and they don’t speak English in spite of outreach programs to learn English and to read and write. If they do not want to live like Americans live then they should immigrate to a country where they will “feel” better about the culture.
    What is it that is missing? The likely truth is that so so many of them want to live as muslims in a muslim country without the freedoms of Western Civilization. They want the U.S. to change, to renounce Western Civilization, to capitulate to their quasi religion/political agenda. There is no middle ground. Far too many Americans & Western Civilizations as a whole think there is a way to co-exist. You can not co-exist with those who mean to kill you and all you represent.

    • DM you have that right the isolation is self isolation, by refusing to learn the language, laws and customs of their New Home they are saying that the US has to change to suit them. All western nations are having the same problem and are struggling on how to cope with immigrants who refuse to assimilate. At the moment it is politically unfeasible to deport them back to their home nations or other Moslem nations (if any would take them.

      I have heard that all major cities that have Islamic ghettos (self imposed ghettos) have no go zones where it is dangerous for any non emergency services personnel can’t go and the emergency personnel require large numbers before it is safe. In the coming years of conflict these sanctuaries will have to be removed before the rest of us are safe.

      First and foremost, there are no “hearts and minds” to win. EVER. The sun will explode a lot sooner before that ever happens. Even just a fractional chance of achieving this “hearts and minds” taurine-fecal-matter goal does not warrant the horrendous loss of life, massive expenditure of treasure, and diversion of precious resources needed to do so.

      Islam will always, always, always HATE the West, if only because we have the temerity to create [gasp!!!] MAN MADE LAWS. These will never be the [quavering voice] “God Given Laws of Allaaaaah! [/quavering voice]. And all devout Muslims will never forgive (nor forget) this constant, intentional, demeaning, and supremely blatant affront to their ewer-so-pwecious sharia-fecking-law.

      That Western populations enjoy superior material comforts, unparalleled technological successes (e.g., successful lunar landings or reliable indoor plumbing), uniform housing codes, high standards of civil engineering, plus infinitely less corrupt societies or governments only serves to rub finely powdered—100% organic, non-iodized, sustainably harvested, fair trade, USDA certified, 99 and 44/100ths pure—sea-fecking-salt into the festering, running-sore-of-an-open-wound which ALWAYS has been (and ALWAYS will be) that ever pestilential and eternally pustulent excrescence called “Islam” only enrages them all the more (exactly as America’s Founding Fathers had planned from the very get-go).

      Finally: Fµ¢? their widdle “hearts and minds”. Füç? their still-in-the-ground-were-it-not-for-us oil. ???? their sand-loving, lamb-eating Bedouin (agar plate) “culture”.
