  1. Alex Jones said of the American school system, “They are creating basket cases.”

What a great observation. First they tell the children that they’re living on land they stole from the people they murdered, then you tell them that the very breath they exhale is a toxic pollutant that is murdering gentle Mother Earth as they stomp around in their self-centered capitalist boots leaving big black carbon footprints in her tear-stained face. Then they tell them to go forth into the world and flop around like fish on the dock because they’re too conflicted to do anything. When you think about it, the only truly altruistic choice the bastards leave the children is to commit suicide. They make the case for suicide! Mother Earth would be happier if we all put guns to our heads and pulled the trigger. No wonder the Millennials seem a bit disjointed… They’re trying to not exhale…

  2. I can’t take the pressure over the US election. If Hillary wins I’m afraid my mind is going to explode. Honestly, I think that all bets are off if Trump loses. I just can’t see the people who understand what’s going on just sitting back and letting the world go to hell just because Hillary won. Another eight years of colluding with the Muslim Brotherhood while pretending to worry about climate change? I can’t bear it. It just can’t be.

I’m going to buy a bottle of vodka and drink it today…I can’t take the pressure…

    • I was going to say, if anyone is planning to get booze or pills, better get in line now. I predict a sell out by 3:00 PM

    • Boy, can I ever relate! I’ve been crying for days now.

I just voted. Five candidates, four unopposed Democrats for whatever office. I voted Trump, then wrote in my own name for the other four.

I’m saving my “I voted” sticker. This may be the last for this YankeeKafir.

      • […] In a sense, being fixated on the 2016 election is already looking in the rearview mirror.  One way or another, we are headed into a future that will be discontinuous with our dysfunctional past.  The conditions of our world today represent the greatest opportunity we have had for hundreds of years to reassess bad mindsets and patterns, and decide against them.

No one elected tomorrow can put back together what has been broken here.  That’s OK.

For Trump supporters, I urge you to understand that not everyone who has reservations about Trump is full of unreasoning hatred toward him.  I will be relieved if he wins tomorrow.  I’ll feel a lot less like it will take a revolution for America to get out of the spot we’re in.

But for the many people I know are out there who still see trouble ahead, I want to say this.  Yes, I see it too.  Don’t despair.  The future is much bigger than what our eyes can see on 8 November 2016.  Don’t worry that you can see clearly that Trump is not a comprehensive remedy for everything that ails us.  That’s OK.  What’s breaking around us is what has to break, if we are to have the opportunity to re-chart America’s course.

It will still break, if Hillary is elected.  It will just break uglier, and with more sorrow and bloodshed.

The future is not small, predestined, and closed.  It’s wide open.  And for those with ears to hear, the God Jehovah is still on the throne, and is still about mercy and grace, as a veritable explosion of possibilities for each human life.  We don’t have to be enslaved to an ethic of vengeful “justice” – one that’s always about an unrequitable past.  We are empowered to be about hope and a future.  We can choose life.  I don’t think I’ve ever before had such a powerful, unsettling sense of what it will mean to trust wholly in G-d.  But I know that we can.

May He bless and keep America.  May freedom, one day, ring loud and true again.

        • From the way she is talking she is seeing the same futures I am seeing and probably in more detail and more choices then I am seeing.

          • She reminds me of my camp counselor. That’s brightest star in my universe.

I get it. Grieving for something that’s irretrievable, that’s sad, of course. I feel like an exile.

But exiles can be the most creative, energetic people you’ll ever meet. Without deep roots, they adapt to changes in the wind. Amongst them natural navigators emerge. Some know true north, at least the general direction.

            • I am going to have to go to bed soon, right now Trump needs 16 votes more and there are several different combinations that will give him the 16 votes he needs.

        • “Don’t worry that you can see clearly that Trump is not a comprehensive remedy for everything that ails us. That’s OK. What’s breaking around us is what has to break, if we are to have the opportunity to re-chart America’s course.”

Thank you so much for posting this, yucki. The American electorate that gave Trump his victory must come to understand that he cannot possibly be the end-all, be-all savior which, undoubtedly, so many have imagined him to be.

J.E. Dyer accurately identifies how the smoking train-wreck of America’s—supposedly, but no longer at all bipartisan—dysfunctional political system merely represents whatever seeds for an opportunity to (painstakingly) reconstruct the shrapnel like an FAA reassembly of some crashed passenger jumbo jet airliner.

That this author feels, “…a lot less like it will take a revolution for America to get out of the spot we’re in”, is a succinct appraisal of just how narrowly the USA may have dodged outright civil war. I sincerely doubt that many who are reading these words had much in the way of uncertainty about how close America was nearing catastrophic domestic conflict.

At the very least, people should regard this barely avoided internecine strife as yet one more indication of how industriously our nation’s political and financial elite have sought to instigate horizontal class warfare in their febrile attempts to avert the vertical class warfare that just as easily could see the lot of these parasitic predators jailed or marched to the wall (as they so richly deserve).

Let’s do our best to give Trump the breathing room and learning opportunities he desperately needs, even as we carefully scrutinize his ongoing track record. As an intensely vulnerable political outsider—for comparison’s sake, witness the absurd obstructionism (the relatively centrist) Arnold Schwarzenegger encountered during his Governorship of California—please take a moment to consider the sort of unshakable inertia and almost insurmountable cronyism (i.e., the “Good-Old-Boy” network) that Trump will face from day one. Should anyone require further evidence of this looming struggle, merely think of the “Never Trump” partisan turncoats (that nearly threw this election) and then extrapolate from there.

Lest we forget, Hillary Clinton epitomized that “Good-Old-Boy” network to the Nth degree and our nation’s close call with being ruled by such a crime family as hers should give prolonged pause to even the most skeptical amongst us.

    “Bait and switch Republicans.”
“Are the rulers encapsulated in the rule-of-law?” History has been “…to put this lid over the power of the rulers.”
“Inflicting guilt on children if they’re White,”
“If we frame the Left as addicts for power… easier to understand what they are doing…”
“…it is solidarity with each other where we will get our freedom.”
And more. The exposure of the Socialist Class Warfare System.

    • “Clinton’s supporters are in disbelief. They have been played like puppets, imagining voting by gender, race or colour was how politics works.”

“You can’t blame Hillary’s supporters for thinking they stood a good chance. Pollsters have demonstrated – once again – why they are an utterly defunct source of information”

    • “wringing out their ovaries in despair”

      (Please pardon my graphic language.)

However much America is long overdue for a woman president (and it most certainly is), the vast majority of Hillary’s drones … er, supporters, continue to labor under the delusion that having a vagina is (somehow) a presidential attribute.

As it has been throughout all human history, leadership by example (the only valid form of leadership that there is, or ever has been), remains the gold standard by which all chief executives will be judged by. Full stop.
