      This guy would be seen as certifiable by his compatriots, a source of devastating shame for his family. The only job he could hold would be to provide services to the expatriate Tardish residents – paki coolies, businessmen, diplomats. The halal racket is universal.

      When Britain betrayed New Zealand upon joining the EU, the Kiwis took a massive hit to their economy and sense of self. Of necessity they reached out and discovered Japan as trading partner and friend. The close relationship began to overcome the enduring hostility from WWII.

      Then kids started taking Japanese as a second language in school, all-Japanese department stores opened in the major cities. Exchange-student programs became extremely popular. My cousins hosted a lovely high-school girl for a year.

      A couple years ago a 15-year-old New Zealander sent in his exchange-student application. He mentioned that he was Muslim and required halal-friendly placement. Not ONE Japanese family could be found. Not one.

  3. Huma Abedin spotted for first time since latest Weiner uproar

    Hillary Clinton ended her final campaign rally with her embattled top aide Huma Abedin, at her side.

    Abedin, the estranged wife of Anthony Weiner, was spotted for the first time in nearly a week boarding Clinton’s “Stronger Together” plane, after a rally in Philadelphia on Monday, Politico reported.

    The estranged wife of Anthony Weiner had been missing from the Democratic presidential nominee’s side since the FBI notified lawmakers more than a week and a half ago that new evidence had been found in their investigation of Clinton’s emails.

    The evidence was a trove of reportedly 650,000 emails that was found on Weiner’s laptop — which was apparently shared by Abedin.

    Weiner, who was exclusively spotted by The Post during an equine therapy session while at a sex addiction rehab center in Tennessee, is himself under investigation for sexting with a 15-year-old girl.

    FBI Director James Comey told Congress on Sunday that the newly found evidence was not sufficient to criminally charge Clinton.

  7. Philippines scaling back, not scrapping, military work with U.S.: minister

    MANILA (Reuters) – President Rodrigo Duterte has decided to retain the Philippines’ security alliance with former colonial power the United States, according to the country’s defence minister, but joint military activities will be scaled back, and less combat-focused.

    Duterte has threatened repeatedly to cut defence pacts and end joint drills involving thousands of soldiers, after lashing out at criticism by the Obama administration for his war on drugs, a centrepiece policy that has killed more than 2,300 people in four months.

    But Defence Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said the security alliance with the United States would not be scrapped, including a 2014 agreement that allows prolonged deployment of American forces in the country.

    “It will remain,” Lorenzana told reporters, referring to the strategic alliance with Washington. “No, it will not be abrogated. But we will reduce the number of activities.”

    However, the navy exercises CARAT, or cooperation afloat readiness and training, and Phiblex, a marine amphibious landing exercise, would be ditched, he said. Both are held annually.

    This is an actual case of saying war is peace, or freedom is slavery.

    Jeff Reynolds has a full write-up at PJ Media. He’s a better sport than I am: he develops the Oregon secretary of state’s case, and then goes on to argue against it.

    But forget that reactive approach. The take-away from this situation needs to be stated categorically up-front. Jeanne Atkins, Democratic secretary of state in Oregon, is misrepresenting what the state GOP is doing, with no gray areas to hide behind and nothing to dispute.

    Here’s what happened. Oregon votes by mail. You have to keep your registration in an active status to receive a ballot. So the state GOP went through the voter rolls, identified Republican voters whose status had fallen to “inactive,” and robocalled them to remind them to update their status, so they could vote.

  9. Court rejects Dems’ poll-monitoring case against GOP

    In a hyper-partisan poll-watching case, a federal judge denied a Democratic Party bid to sanction the Republican National Committee on the eve of Election Day.

    U.S. District Judge John Michael Vazquez ruled in New Jersey that there was no evidence the RNC was working in concert with Donald Trump’s campaign on activities that might constitute voter intimidation.

    Since 1982, the RNC has been prohibited by a consent decree from coordinating poll watchers and other vote-monitoring efforts with its presidential candidates.

    The court decree allows the Democratic Party to coordinate its own poll-watching activities nationally, while requiring the Republicans to request preclearance from the DNC.

    Based on a review of RNC submissions, Vazquez ruled on Saturday that he found no violations by the national party.

    FBI agents say the bureau is alarmed over Director James Comey deciding not to suggest that the Justice Department prosecute Hillary Clinton over her mishandling of classified information.

    According to an interview transcript given to The Daily Caller, provided by an intermediary who spoke to two federal agents with the bureau last Friday, agents are frustrated by Comey’s leadership.

  11. Hungary rejects widely condemned ban of immigrants

    Anti-refugee law could still be introduced as right-wing party announces they could support it in future

    Hungary’s parliament has narrowly rejected Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s plan to ban the resettlement of refugees in the country.

    The decision is a blow to the leader, who has railed against European Union migration schemes and spouted anti-refugee rhetoric.

    Yet the policy could still be adopted as the radical nationalist party Jobbik – which suprisingly voted against the ban – announced they could support the law in future.

    Mr Orban’s proposals were only two seats short of the required two-thirds majority he needed – receiving 131 votes out of the 199-seat parliament.

    After the vote, Jobbik said it would back Mr Orban’s ban on resettling migrants if the government agreed to abolish a residency bond programme for foreigners.

    Jobbik said ahead of the vote that it would not back the amendment to the constitution unless Mr Orban abolished the scheme, which was introduced three years ago.

    Mr Orban had said the amendment was needed to honour an October referendum, in which more than three million Hungarians, an overwhelming majority of those who voted, rejected migrant quotas the EU sought to agree in order to fairly distribute refugees arriving in Europe among member states.

    He said that even though the referendum was not legally binding because of a low turnout, it gave him a strong political mandate to reject quotas stipulating how many migrants Hungary must accept.

    Mr Orban’s determination to keep out migrants has angered his fellow EU leaders and complicated their task as the 28-nation bloc struggles to cope with an influx of about 1.4 million people since the start of 2015, many fleeing conflicts like the war in Syria.

    Last year Hungary was a key entry point into the EU’s border-free Schengen zone until Mr Orban erected a razor wire fence along its southern borders with Croatia to stem the flow.

    Robert Laszlo, a political analyst at think-tank Political Capital, told Reuters: “This vote today is a temporary fiasco (for Orban), similarly to the referendum which was invalid.”

    Mr Laszlo said the failure of the amendment was unlikely to weaken Mr Orban, whose Fidesz party has a strong lead in opinion polls ahead of elections due in 2018.

  12. AFP: French investigators name alleged coordinator of Paris, Brussels attacks

    Paris. French investigators have identified a Syria-based extremist of dual Belgian and Moroccan nationality as a suspected coordinator of attacks in Paris and Brussels, sources close to the case told AFP on Tuesday.

    Oussama Atar, a 32-year-old thought to be a member of the Islamic State group, was already a suspect in the Brussels attacks on March 22 but has now been linked to the November 13, 2015 atrocities in Paris.

    “He’s the only coordinator from Syria to have been identified during the investigations,” one of the sources told AFP.

      Prisoner in need of urgent medical care

      Iraq

      Oussama Atar, a 26-year-old Belgian national, is in need of urgent medical care at al-Rusafa Prison in Iraq. According to information provided to the Belgian embassy by the prison authorities he has a tumour in the kidney and must undergo an urgent operation in the next two weeks. Reports also indicate that he has lost a great amount of weight and is very ill. Amnesty International fears for his health and is calling on the Iraqi authorities to provide urgently needed medical care.

      Oussama Atar has been in prison for the past six years. He was convicted of illegally crossing the border between Syria and Iraq and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He has been held in the prisons of Abu Ghraib, Camp Bucca, Camp Cropper, and he is currently held in al-Rusafa prison in Baghdad. According to his family, his health has deteriorated in the past months. Amnesty International raised concerns about his general state of well-being to the Iraqi authorities in May 2010 , but the organisation had received no answer on his behalf. In light of this latest information, Amnesty International fears for his current state of health.

      Amnesty International has received reports that the prison contacted the Belgian embassy in Jordan (which has responsibility for Belgium’s relations with Iraq) to inform them that Oussama Atar had a tumour in the kidney and that he urgently need to receive treatment in the next two weeks. Amnesty International has also been informed that the Belgian government is reported to have expressed its willingness to provide the necessary treatment for Oussama Atar.

      Amnesty International calls on the Iraqi authorities, in particular those responsible for al-Rusafa Prison, to ensure that Oussama Atar receives full and immediate access to the medical care that he needs in conformity with the UN Standard Minimal Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners. According the UN Standard Minimal Rules, if adequate medical care is not available in the prison hospital, the prisoner must be transferred for treatment to an appropriate institution outside of the prison system, such as a specialised institution or civil hospital (22.2). Amnesty International is also calling on the prison authorities to cover the costs of such treatment as required by the United Nations Body of Principles for the Protection of All Persons under Any Form of Detention or Imprisonment (Principle 24). Amnesty International believes the denial of medical care to Oussama Atar may amount to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.

      Please write to the Iraqi authorities below:

      Explaining that you are a health professional concerned about human rights;

      Expressing concern at reports that Oussama Atar, currently held in al-Rusafa Prison, Iraq, is not receiving adequate medical care;

      Urging the authorities to ensure that Oussama Atar receives full and immediate access to medical care, in accordance with the provisions set out in the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners; if the authorities are unable to urgently provide specialist medical care then they should make arrangements with the Belgian government to guarantee his treatment.

  13. Germany: Five arrested on suspicion of recruiting for IS in Lower Saxony

    German police arrested five men on suspicion of being affiliated to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in the city of Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, on Tuesday.

    The five suspected militants – an Iraqi, a Turk, a German, a Serbian-German dual citizen and a national of Cameroon – are reportedly accused of recruiting fighters for IS. Ahead of the arrests, police searched several apartments in the German states of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.

    • Germany: Police raid building near Islamic centre frequented by IS suspects

      German police raided a residential building opposite the German-Speaking Islamic Circle Hildesheim mosque, which was frequented by five men arrested on suspicion of being affiliated to the self-proclaimed Islamic State in the city of Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, Tuesday.

  16. BREITBART – GERMANY Outrage over Niqab-Clad Islamist on Prominent Political Programme

    The popular Sunday political talk show Anne Will has sparked outrage in Germany after an appearance by a known radical Muslim wearing a full-face niqab veil to debate on the radicalisation of young German Muslims.

    Nora Illi, women’s representative of the Islamic Central Council of Switzerland, showed up in the full face veil, spoke on a panel of guests on the subject of Islamic radicalism among young Muslims, reports Die Welt.

    Illi was forced to defend an essay she had written in 2014 in which she praised Muslims who had gone to fight in Syria. She claimed that Muslims had felt discriminated against and those that went to fight against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had “civil courage”.

    Illi, nicknamed “Niqab Nora”, is a Swiss woman who converted to Islam at the age of 18 and has been an ardent supporter of traditional Islam including in 2014 defending her husband’s Islamic right to have more than one wife.

    Former Islamist Ahmad Mansour was also on the panel and he, along with Christian Democratic Union (CDU) MP Wolfgang Bosbach, expressed that it wasn’t appropriate for a public broadcaster like ARD to have Ms. Illi on as a guest as she trivialised the Islamic State terror group and glorified the war in Syria.

    Mr. Mansour even went as far to say of the appearance of Ms. Illi: “This should not be done on public television. This is open war propaganda.”

    CDU Federal Councillor Sebastian Steineke also spoke out on social media after the broadcast had ended saying: “The fact that you can offer such a platform on TV to radical Islam is something that I find ridiculous.”

    Young Muslims are becoming increasingly more radicalised in Germany and across Europe due largely in part to Islamic State and Salafist propaganda materials being made available on the internet. French academic Gilles Kepel, a political science professor, has said third generation Muslims and new migrants are sympathising more and more with radical Islam.

    Professor Kepel called the new emerging generation of Muslims “Generation Jihad” and warns that if left unchecked could take Europe down the path of a potential civil war.

  17. Fox News -Benghazi guards turned on US diplomats in 2012 attack, sources say

    An obscure private firm hired by the State Department over internal objections to protect U.S. diplomats in Benghazi just months before the American ambassador and three others were killed was staffed with hastily recruited locals with terror ties who helped carry out the attack, multiple sources told Fox News.

    The explosive charge against Wales-based Blue Mountain Group comes from several sources, including an independent security specialist who has implemented training programs at U.S. Consulates around the world, including in Benghazi, where he trained a local militia that preceded Blue Mountain. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Blue Mountain used local newspaper ads to assemble a team of 20 guards, many of whom had terror ties, after securing a $9.2 million annual contract.

    “The guards who were hired were locals who were part of the Ansar al-Sharia and Al Qaeda groups operating in Benghazi,” said the source, whose assignment in Benghazi had ended in November 2011. “Whoever approved contracts at the State Department hired Blue Mountain Group and then allowed Blue Mountain Group to hire local Libyans who were not vetted.”

    Many were members of the Libyan government-financed February 17th Martyrs Brigade, an Islamist militia that had previously guarded Americans before being replaced by Blue Mountain.

    John “Tig” Tiegen, one of the CIA contractors that responded to the Sept. 11, 2012 attack and co-author of “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi,” confirmed to Fox News that the local Libyans who attacked the consulate that night included guards working for Blue Mountain.

    “Many of the local Libyans who attacked the consulate on the night of Sept. 11, 2012, were the actual guards that the State Department under Hillary Clinton hired to protect the Consulate in Benghazi,” Tiegen told Fox News. “The guards were unvetted and were locals with basically no background at all in providing security. Most of them never had held a job in security in the past.

    “Blue Mountain Libya, at the time of being awarded the contract by our State Department, had no employees so they quickly had to find people to work, regardless of their backgrounds,” he said.

    One former guard who witnessed the attack, Weeam Mohamed, confirmed in an email sent to the Citizens Commission on Benghazi and obtained by Fox News, that at least four of the guards hired by Blue Mountain took part in the attack after opening doors to allow their confederates in.

    “In the U.S. Mission, there were four people [who] belonged to the battalion February 17,” Mohamed wrote to the Commission, an independent body formed with Accuracy in Media to investigate the attack and the administration’s handling of it.

    “Always armed. And they are free to move anywhere inside a building mission.

    “And therefore, they had a chance to do an attack on the mission’s headquarters. They have all the details about the place. At the same time they have given the United States a painful blow,” Mohamed wrote.

    Blue Mountain officials did not return multiple requests for comment. The State Department acknowledged in internal emails obtained by FoxNews.com the local recruits fell short of their duty, but discounted the claim any took an active role in the attack that resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Information Officer Sean Smith and CIA contractors and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

    “While the Accountability Review Board report and other reports were critical of our local guards’ performance, we are not aware of any evidence that they participated in the attacks themselves,” said State Department spokesman John Kirby.

    Blue Mountain was hired in February 2012, following an uprising that ended Col. Muammar Gaddafi’s 42-year rule and plunged Libya into violent chaos. Congressional testimony in the wake of the attack on a consular office in Benghazi revealed that Stevens and his staff had made hundreds of requests for security upgrades but had been ignored by officials in Washington.

    “We kept asking for additional support, including a 50-caliber mounted machine gun, but the State Department would not give it to us, because they said it would upset the locals,” the source told Fox News. “Instead, the State Department hired a company that doesn’t have employees, which then hired terrorists.”

    Clare Lopez, a member of Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, said the Clinton State Department bears blame for the security situation.

    “Think about it: Hillary Clinton’s State Department actually hired the very people who, along with their jihadist allies in Benghazi, attacked us and killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and Sean Smith as well as CIA contractors Glen Doherty and Ty Woods,” Lopez said.

    According to government records obtained by the Washington-based Judicial Watch, the State Department was in a “rush” to hire Blue Mountain UK, and its affiliate, Blue Mountain Libya, which together formed The Blue Mountain Group to secure the Benghazi contract.

    “I understand there was a tremendous rush to get the original contract awarded, and the Service level agreement was most likely overlooked in the rush,” wrote State Department contracting officer Jan Visintainer, in a June 6, 2012, email. Emails obtained from [missing word] after the attack showed Visintainer urged Blue Mountain officials not to talk to the media.

    Blue Mountain UK was formed in 2008 by David Nigel Thomas, a former Special Air Service official. Charles Tiefer, a commissioner at the Commission on Wartime Contracting, told Reuters the company was not well known.

    “Blue Mountain was virtually unknown to the circles that studied private security contractors working for the United States, before the events in Benghazi,” Tiefer said.

    Despite the size of the operation, and having no staff or track record with the State Department, Blue Mountain Group landed the $767,767-per-month contract to protect the Benghazi consular office, beginning on Feb. 17, 2012.

    The company solicited applications in local newspapers and on websites, and very little, if any, screening of guards was done, the security specialist told Fox News. The lack of vetting led to several potentially dangerous hires beginning in March of 2012, he said.

    “One of those guards hired by Blue Mountain was the younger brother of the leader of Al Qaeda of Benghazi,” he said.

    In an email obtained by Judicial Watch, Jairo Saravia of the Regional Security office for the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, told his superiors in Washington that Blue Mountain had held and lost security contracts in Tripoli, with the Corinthian Hotel and Palm City complex.

    “The latest information is Blue Mountain is not licensed by the GOL (Government of Libya) to provide security services in Libya,” Saravia wrote. “I would advise not to use their services to provide security for any of our annexes and/or offices due to the sensitivity this issue has with the current GOL.”

    Prior to Blue Mountain, security for Americans in Benghazi had been provided by the February 17th Martyrs Brigade under a direct agreement with the State Department. Despite its Islamist orientation, the militia included dozens of locals who had been carefully cultivated and trained by the U.S., according to the source. The majority of the February 17 Militia guards were fired without warning when Blue Mountain was hired, leading some members to turn against the Americans, he said. The State Department kept on at least three February 17 employees for patrol.

    Eric Nordstrom, the regional security officer in Libya who has vast, first-hand knowledge of some 600 security requests denied to the U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya, testified on May 8, 2013, before the Congressional Committee On Oversight & Government Reform that he was aware that employees with both February 17 Martyrs Brigade and Blue Mountain had ties to Islamist terrorists.

    “I had met with some of my agents and then also with some annex personnel. We discussed that,” Nordstrom told lawmakers.

    Nordstrom testified that the “ferocity and intensity” of the 13-hour, four-phase attack, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, was nothing that they had seen in Libya, or that he had seen in his time in the Diplomatic Security Service, with as many as 60 attackers in the consulate.

    The founder of counter-Islamistation strolling movement PEGIDA, Lutz Bachmann, has been handed a five-year protest ban by the city of Dresden, but the order will do nothing to control the marches which have gathered tens of thousands of supporters.

    The ban on Mr. Bachmann — the founder of the protest movement which has spread to a number of other German cities and European nations — and his co-organiser Sigfried Däbritz, comes after supporters of the Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West (PEGIDA) heckled German chancellor Angela Merkel at a unity day event.

    Army tanks and thousands of police were deployed to eastern city of Dresden for the event, which in an unusual development was attended by Chancellor Merkel and President Joachim Gauck. PEGIDA supporters jibed the pair, demanding they “get out”, and shouted down Gauck when he tried to speak.

    The city council declared the protest had not received prior permission from them, and so have ordered the ringleaders — Bachmann and Däbritz — are banned from organising protests in the area until October 2021.

    The ban has come in the form of a notification that neither of them are now considered proper persons to lead a protest, as they have been found to have violated the city rules.

    Yet the ban is likely to do little — taking to Facebook, Mr. Bachmann revealed today that while he would no longer be able to technically organise marches, he would still be able to march with PEGIDA, be allowed to speak on stage as a guest, and help out with security — basically the limit of his involvement now.

    German newspaper Zeit reports that Bachmann hasn’t been a signatory of protest applications for the city since the end of 2015.

    The PEGIDA founder wrote on Facebook that the ruling wouldn’t change the fact he’d be at the protests — so-called strolls — every Monday night as usual.

    Berlin (AFP) – Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday said Russia could try to influence Germany’s general elections next year through cyber attacks or disinformation campaigns, after Washington accused the Kremlin of similar meddling in the US vote.

    “We are already, even now, having to deal with information out of Russia or with internet attacks that are of Russian origin or with news which sows false information,” Merkel, said at a press conference alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg.

    Dealing with that was already “a daily task”, she told reporters in Berlin.

    “So it may be that this could also play a role during the election campaign.”

    There are two things that are important to know about Kaine. First, he is President Barack Obama’s man. In 2007, as governor of Virginia, Kaine was the first state-wide office holder outside of Illinois to endorse the then first-term senator for president.

    In 2008, Obama reportedly wanted very much to select Kaine as his running mate but opted instead for then senator Joseph Biden due to Kaine’s inexperience in foreign policy.

    Shortly after Clinton selected Kaine as her running mate, multiple reporters speculated that Obama forced Clinton to accept him as her running mate by conditioning his active support for her campaign on Clinton’s selection of Kaine.

    The second thing that it is important to know about Kaine is that he is a J Street senator. According to opensecrets.org, which reports political donations to US political races, J Street’s PAC is the largest donor to Kaine’s campaign committee.

    J Street is a subversive organization. Its goal is to undermine the US alliance with Israel while proclaiming its commitment to Israel. Prof. Alan Dershowitz, who supports Clinton, told The Washington Free Beacon in July that J Street is “the most damaging organization in American history against Israel.”

    While endlessly proclaiming its devotion to Israel, J Street has campaigned against Israel at every turn. It opposed sanctions against Iran. It supported Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran. It condemns Israel and blames it for the absence of peace in the Middle East.

    As Dershowitz noted, “J Street has done more to turn young people against Israel than any organization in the whole of history. It will go down in history as one of the most virulent, anti-Israel organizations in the history of Zionism and Judaism. It has given cover to anti-Israel attitudes on campus and particularly its approach to Israel’s self-defense.”

      If officials in any developed country would dispense aid to their citizens the way the international community dispenses aid to the Palestinians, they would be placed behind bars for blatant discrimination if not racism. This would clearly be the verdict of any court that compared international aid to the 4.2 million Palestinians (World Bank estimate), to Ethiopia, a western ally, and other African states.

      The facts of this discrimination are beyond dispute. In 2013, Ethiopia received 3.2 billion dollars in financial aid. The Palestinians in 2013 received approximately 2 billion dollars in aid, and this was before the last round of hostilities between Israel and Hamas.

      On the surface, these figures in themselves do not seem so prejudicial. The Ethiopians after all receive over 50 percent of the amount of aid the Palestinians receive.

      But two considerations, indispensable in allocating resources in any fair means test, change the picture radically.

      First, Ethiopia’s population is twenty times even the most generous estimate of the combined populations of the West Bank and Gaza: 94 million Ethiopians compared to 4.2 million Palestinians. This means that the average Palestinian receives fifteen times more aid per capita (US$476) than the average Ethiopian (US$35)!

    The radical US Council of Muslim Organizations doubles registered Muslim voters to one million.

    The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) is boasting that its voter registration campaign “One Million Voters” across mosques and schools has doubled the number of registered Muslim voters to over a million.

    The media is cheering this development even though USCMO has a history that makes the KKK look downright sunny. USCMO was in the news last year for its statement denying the Muslim genocide of Armenians and arguing that any recognition of the massacre must also recognize “Muslim suffering.”

    USCMO’s Secretary General Oussama Jammal had engaged in 9/11 Trutherism at a rally backing a Hamas supporter. He was president of the Bridgeview Mosque which raised money for the head of Islamic Jihad. The Chicago Tribune described this as the result of a “hard line” takeover of the mosque.

    The Bridgeview mosque had been interlinked with the Islamic Association for Palestine which had been set up by the Muslim Brotherhood and featured Hamas operatives such as Mousa Abu Marzook. Jammal had received a “Mosque of the Year” award from KindHearts, a terror charity that was shut down for its ties to Hamas.
