  1. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO MUST REPRESS AN ALMOST UNCONTROLLABLE URGE TO VOMIT WHENEVER HILLARY CLINTON SPEAKS ON CAMERA?!?

With all due respect to this site’s visitors, the question I pose is neither intentionally hyperbolic nor any sort of exaggeration. All the same, hearing this smug, sanctimonious, whoring, vaginal cavity, prattle on with her deeply flawed world-view induces a sort of nausea that makes even a $50.00 steak & lobster restaurant dinner an unquestionable candidate for projectile vomiting.

“A few weeks ago, 200 North Africans and Pakistanis rioted in the middle of the night, demanding to leave Mytilene Island. They were chanting, “Jihad! Jihad!”, smashing the residents’ cars in the center of the island and disrupting the local community.”
This article is a very good summary of what has been going on in Greece recently.

In Bulgaria there were simultaneous protests in the capital and 2 towns several days ago. The migrants that protested not getting luxury conditions and 500 Euros a month ended their strike when they were told that they could go wherever they want once they got humanitarian status. (not mentioned in this article, but it was in the news)

  3. Hillary In Leaked Email: Saudi Arabia And Qatar Are Funding ISIS

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton sent an email to her campaign chairman John Podesta in 2014, who was then-counselor to President Barack Obama, that said Saudi Arabia and Qatar are both giving financial and logistical support to the Islamic State and other extremist Sunni groups, according to a recent Wikileaks release.

Clinton sent the email on August 17, 2014 to Podesta. It was an eight-point plan to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Clinton’s email said that the United States should support Kurdish forces on the ground with U.S. military advisers and avoid the use of a conventional ground operation.

  4. Breaking: DNC Chief Donna Brazile Leaked Sanders Info to Clinton Campaign
WikiLeaks hack reveals DNC’s favoritism as Clinton staff in damage control over Hillary’s support for DOMA

On October 10, Wikileaks released part two of their emails from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta.

Friday, Wikileaks released their first batch of Podesta’s emails, which included excerpts from Clinton’s Wall Street transcripts that reaffirmed why Clinton refused to release them in full. During the second presidential debate, Clinton confirmed their authenticity by attempting to defend one statement she made in the speech about having a public and private stance on political issues. She cited Abraham Lincoln, a defense comparable to her ridiculous invocation of 9/11 when pressed on her ties to Wall Street during a Democratic primary debate.

  5. British lawmaker likens Russia’s behavior in Syria to that of Nazis

LONDON (Reuters) – A senior British lawmaker has accused Russia of targeting civilians in Syria in the same way the Nazis behaved at Guernica during the Spanish civil war of the 1930s.

Andrew Mitchell, a lawmaker in Prime Minister Theresa May’s ruling Conservatives and a former Secretary of State for International Development, said an attack last month on a United Nations relief convoy near the northern Syrian city of Aleppo was a war crime committed by Russian forces.

Some 20 people were killed in the attack on the U.N. and Syrian Arab Red Crescent convoy and the United States blamed two Russian warplanes which it said were in the skies above the area at the time of the incident.

Moscow rejects the accusations saying it only targets militants and accuses the West of being responsible for the crisis in Syria.

“When it comes to incendiary weapons and munitions such as bunker-buster bombs and cluster bombs, the U.N. makes it clear that the systematic use of such indiscriminate weapons in densely populated areas amounts to a war crime,” Mitchell told parliament late on Monday.

“We are witnessing events that match the behavior of the Nazi regime in Guernica in Spain,” he said referring to the destruction of the Spanish town in 1937 by German aircraft from Adolf Hitler’s Luftwaffe. The bombing of the historic city became the subject of a famous painting by artist Pablo Picasso.

  6. War Talk Returns to Russian TV as U.S. Ties Hit Deep Freeze

Russian state television is back on a war footing.

This time, the ramped-up rhetoric follows the collapse of cease-fire efforts in Syria. As the U.S. and Russia accused each other of sinking diplomacy, Moscow increased its military presence in the Mediterranean and Baltic regions, and suspended a nuclear non-proliferation treaty. A prime-time news program warned that the U.S. wants to provoke a conflict.

The sudden escalation puts the relationship back into the deep freeze it was in at the peak of the crisis over Ukraine in 2014, which also sparked a wave of hostility in state media. That anti-U.S. campaign ended as the Kremlin sought an easing of Western punitive measures imposed over the Ukrainian crisis — hopes that now seem to be in tatters.

“Offensive behavior toward Russia has a nuclear dimension,” Russian state TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov said in his “Vesti Nedelyi” program on Sunday. “Moscow would react with nerves of iron to a Plan B,” he said, referring to any possible U.S. military strike in Syria.

The Kremlin’s control over Russian media has in part helped keep President Vladimir Putin’s approval rating above 80 percent during the country’s longest recession in two decades and portrayed military deployments in Crimea and Syria as victories against western encroachment.
    Sanction Threat

The rise in tensions could lead to new sanctions against the Kremlin, which some members of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s party have sought to penalize Moscow over Syria. It risks blowing off course efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, which provoked the worst standoff since the Cold War after Putin annexed Crimea and backed pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine.

Following the collapse of months of diplomacy, Russia is pursuing an air campaign in Syria to bolster its ally, President Bashar al-Assad, against U.S.-backed rebels and establishing permanent bases there. The Obama administration suggested that Russian actions in Syria could amount to war crimes and blamed Russia for cyber attacks aimed at disrupting the U.S. election.

    • Why does 0 continue to have positive approval ratings? Of course Bloomberg, et al. have been covering for him from the start. Now it’s abundantly clear they’ve paid off Clinton, Inc.
      And they’re talking “credibility”?

      • Who says he does have record approval ratings? The people taking those polls are the ones that are really messing up the polls on Trump. The Dems want him to be popular so the pollsters say he is to keep from being called racist.

  7. Russia’s top propagandist says US behaviour could have ‘nuclear’ implications

Dmitry Kiselyov said there has been a ‘radical change’ in relations between Russia and the US

A Russian news presenter, dubbed the “Kremlin’s chief propagandist”, has warned the United States any “impudent behaviour” towards Moscow could have “nuclear” implications.

Dmitry Kiselyov, who was appointed by Vladimir Putin to head the country’s government-owned news agency, made the warning on Monday night’s edition of his flagship current affairs programme Vesti Nedeli (News of the Week).

Relations between the two countries hit a new low on Friday after Washington accused Moscow of war crimes following a sustained bombardment of the besieged Syrian city Aleppo, where at least 250,000 people are still living in the rebel-held east of the city.

  8. China blockades streets around military building as hundreds protest in capital

BEIJING (Reuters) – Police in the Chinese capital on Tuesday blocked off streets near a major military building, as hundreds of people wearing green camouflage uniforms chanted and waved national flags to protest against the loss of their posts.

China last year announced it would cut troop levels by 300,000, targeting the bulk of the reductions by the end of 2017, as it seeks to spend more money on high-tech weapons for its navy and air force.

Tens of thousands of protests take place in China every year, triggered by grievances over corruption, pollution, illegal land grabs and other factors, unnerving the stability-obsessed ruling Communist Party.

On Tuesday, buses stretched down a block of Chang’an Avenue, Beijing’s main thoroughfare, with police blocking the gaps between vehicles to obstruct views of the tightly-packed demonstrators.

The voices of the protesters in front of the military’s Bayi Building rose above the traffic as they chanted songs, while some waved Chinese flags and banners protesting against their treatment after losing their positions in the military.

It says assailants opened fire at a gas station owned by Aktert, killing him instantly. It was unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the attack.

The Turkish citizen, a student at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, faced verbal insults and was attacked in the face over the weekend in a shop in the central Polish town, though the incident was not widely reported until several days later.

A university spokesman, Marcin Czyzniewski, told the TVN24 broadcaster on Tuesday that he feared the university could start losing students if people don’t feel safe there, and that would hurt the entire community.

“Romania’s foreign ministry says armed men have abducted a Romanian engineer in southern Nigeria, in what appears to be the latest hostage-for-ransom incident.

The ministry on Tuesday said the men attacked a group of foreigners Monday evening at a railway construction site in Agbor and snatched the man.

The ministry says Romania’s embassy has asked Nigerian authorities to locate and rescue the man, whose family has been informed. Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu has activated a crisis cell to handle the situation.

Kidnappings of Nigerians and foreigners are common all over the country. In the oil-rich southern Niger Delta, they are carried out by ordinary criminals as well as militants demanding a greater share of oil riches for locals.

Hostages are usually released unharmed after ransom payments.”

  20. BREITBART Exclusive: Hungarian Govt Blasts ‘Ignorant’ Western Coverage of Immigration Referendum

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Hungarian government spokesman Zoltán Kovács has criticised Western Media for their coverage of Hungarian political affairs, accusing them of uncritically reproducing information broadcast by minor opposition movements in the country and exercising an ignorance of Hungary in their coverage.

An overwhelming majority of voters rejected the mandatory migrant redistribution plans of the European Union (EU) in Hungary on Sunday, with 98 per cent voting to reject the bloc’s plan.

The aftermath of the referendum has seen Western media argue over the validity of the vote as it didn’t reach the 50 per cent turnout threshold, and to question the policies of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s government.

Spokesman for the Hungarian government Zoltán Kovács sat down with Breitbart London in his office in Budapest. He didn’t mince words when it came to the Western media.

“It’s always interesting to see how Western media is interested in Hungarian domestic affairs. It’s a kind of a habit for the past six years,” he said. He noted that most of the coverage is sent out to the media by opposition parties who he claimed had little other means to critique the government given the ruling party of Mr. Orbán.

His party Fidesz has an overwhelming majority in the parliament.

According to Kovács the reports in the Western media “shows the lack of knowledge about the country and the kind of ignorance, actually, about how Hungary works and about the Hungarian constitution and the legal system.”

Mr. Kovács stated that the provision for a majority turnout is only there for referendum votes to make the government act if the referendum question is brought up by an opposition party or an individual.

He said the government would have liked to get over 50 per cent, but that the result of 98 per cent for a No vote showed a clear will of the people in support of the government’s policy on mass migration.

The number of votes for No, which many try to relativise in the western media [is] that this is a dictatorship and only those voted, but that’s ‘blah blah’ and stupidity. It’s 3.3 [million] which means is 1.1 million more [votes] than this government got back in 2014.

Keep in mind that back in 2014 migration was not on the agenda and it simply is a reinforcement, actually, a reinforced mandate to step up against that particular issue and step up against the measures [imposed by the EU that] we see.

The result of the referendum will be a new amendment to the constitution of Hungary. This new seventh amendment, according to Kovács, will look at “the confines of sovereignty and European institutions and capacities,” and will likely be enacted on November 8th.

Details are still in the works, Kovács said, but the government spokesman assured the new policies would continue on laws already enacted.

Some, like the Serbians, are worried that a closure of the border in Hungary and total rejection of asylum seekers would create a migrant problem in their own country.

Kovács said: “We’ve just sent 25 policemen to the southern Serbian border to work together. But still, what happens on Serbian soil is the discretion and the sovereignty of the Serbians.”

He also criticized Serbia’s lack of preparedness last year after migrants tried to break through by force.

“An armed mob of a couple of hundred basically tried to break into Hungarian territory; imagine that happening in the U.S. What would be the response? So that was the only time when we had to use force,” he said.

  21. RT -Aggressor squadron? Pics of US jets painted in Russian colors spark Syria false flag conspiracy

Photos showing US jets being painted Russian colors have triggered debates and conspiracy theories online, with many saying Washington plans to conduct false flag attacks in Syria and blame them on Moscow.

The pictures of the US jets were posted by a Canadian journalist last week on his Twitter account.

The U.S is painting their F/A-18’s to match the paint schemes of Russian jets in #Syria. Standard training, but interesting nonetheless. pic.twitter.com/FVN6tMj2Ji
    — Christian Borys (@ItsBorys) October 6, 2016

Although the journalist noted that painting fighter jets in the colors of potential adversaries is standard practice, they caused a stir among conspiracy theorists.

Many of them accused the US of preparing a false flag attack aimed at framing Russia in Syria.

[…]The publication of the images fell on fertile ground. Relations between Russia and the US over the Syria conflict are at an all-time low, with both countries exchanging threats and warnings with each other over their involvement in Syria.

The US and other militaries are known for using aggressor squadrons, which act as opposing forces in military war games. In addition to being painted in an adversary’s colors, they also use enemy tactics to provide realistic simulations of air combat.

  22. U.S. destroyer escapes being hit by missiles off Yemen
    By J.E. Dyer October 10, 2016

There are differing versions of this event, which reportedly occurred on Sunday, 9 October, shortly after 7 PM local time, just north of the Bab El-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea.

The accounts both have two missiles landing in the area of USS Mason (DDG-87), an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis destroyer. Reportedly, Mason deployed countermeasures against the first missile, but did not use them against the second, which was fired within the next hour.

One account indicates that the missiles were definitely launched at USS Mason. It describes the destroyer as being “targeted.” Fox News said in its most recent report on Monday that that assessment was confirmed by a Defense Department official.

The other account – the AP account – says only that missiles were fired and Mason wasn’t hit by them. This second account clearly makes an effort to avoid saying the missiles were fired at the U.S. warship. It quotes a U.S. Navy spokesman as saying it was unclear whether USS Mason was being targeted.

This discrepancy may or may not matter. The ambiguity in interpretation may be partly a result of the type of weapon used – a speculative consideration, but one that points to what should concern us about this incident, especially coming so shortly after the Houthi rebels’ successful attack on UAE-operated HSV-2 Swift. Mason‘s incident was in the same area.

  24. Hillary’s Two Faces
The latest WikiLeak disclosures expose the aspiring Liar-in-Chief in her own words.

One of the online questions posed to Hillary Clinton during the second presidential town hall debate in St. Louis on Sunday evening had to do with remarks she had reportedly made in private to a Wall Street audience, revealed by WikiLeaks, that she has “both a public and a private position” on such issues as Wall Street reform. The questioner wanted to know whether “it is okay for politicians to be two-faced.” Hillary Clinton rationalized her private remark to her audience of Wall Street benefactors as a reference to “Abraham Lincoln after having seen the wonderful Steven Spielberg movie ‘Abraham Lincoln.’”

The only association Hillary Clinton can legitimately claim with the memory of Abraham Lincoln was when the Clintons traded on his name and rented out the Lincoln bedroom to wealthy donors while she and Bill Clinton inhabited the White House.

Donald Trump was ready with the perfect retort: “She got caught in a total lie… She lied. And now she’s blaming the lie on the late, great Abraham Lincoln – Honest Abe. Honest Abe never lied. That’s the big difference between Abraham Lincoln and you. That’s a big difference.”

  25. #RiggedElection: New DNC Chair Also Aided Hillary Clinton Against Sanders

Considering Donna Brazile’s background, this is not an especially surprising revelation. But it is yet another reminder that Hillary Clinton was nominated in a thoroughly rigged process.

The latest release reveals current DNC chair Donna Brazile, when working as as DNC vice chair, forwarded to the Clinton campaign a January 2016 email obtained from the Bernie Sanders campaign, released by Sarah Ford, Sanders’ deputy national press secretary, announcing a Twitter storm from Sanders’ African-American outreach team. “FYI” Brazile wrote to the Clinton staff. “Thank you for the heads up on this Donna,” replied Clinton campaign spokesperson Adrienne Elrod.

The second batch of emails include more evidence of collusion between the mainstream media and Clinton Campaign.

  26. Why Egypt’s Muslims Resent Coptic Christians
They dare do what the Muslims’ Christian forefathers did not.

At a time when Coptic Christians are suffering abuses “every two or three days” in Egypt, a Muslim woman in America has made a video calling for more Muslim hostility against the Christian minority, in this case, in the guise of an economic boycott.

In a video, Ayat Oraby—a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer who has nearly 1.5 million followers on Facebook—recently called the Coptic church a “bunch of gangsters,” a “total mafia” that “rules [Egypt] behind the curtains.” She accuses the Christians of “stockpiling weapons in churches” and “striving to create a Coptic statelet” in order to continue waging “a war against Islam.”

Meanwhile, back in the real world, which consists of 196 nations, Egypt is the 22nd worst nation for Christians to live in; the persecution level that Christians experience is formally categorized as “severe.” For decades Christian churches have faced immense restrictions that mosques, which liter Egypt’s landscape, do not; Coptic women and children are regularly abducted and sometimes forced to convert; entire Christian villages and churches are set aflame on the rumor that a Christian somewhere “blasphemed” against Muhammad on social media.

  27. KABUL – Hostage Situation In Afghanistan Live Updates: Karte Sakhi Mosque Under Siege By Suicide Bombers, US Embassy Says

Update 1:20 p.m. EDT: AFP reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs has said two of the three attackers were killed while one escaped and the death toll has changed, according to Al-Jazzera.

A police official, speaking under the condition of anonymity, also told Reuters that seven people were killed and 22 injured and that they expected the death toll to rise.

Update 1:13 p.m. EDT: A spokesman for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs says the motivation for the attack over the last attacker killed by security forces.

    — Parwiz Shamal (@PShamal) October 11, 2016

Over the weekend, security forces reportedly killed Qari Ajmal, a Pakistani Taliban leader believed to be the mastermind of the 2009 attack on Sri Lanka’s cricket team. Three other terrorists were captured and one other killed during the raid.

Update 1:10 p.m. EDT: The AP is now reporting that the gunmen were wearing military uniforms when they entered the mosque.

Afghan official says at least 3 gunmen wearing military uniforms attacked a Shiite shrine in Kabul, take hostages. https://t.co/LewTQNDNZU

    Original Story

The United States Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, issued a warning Tuesday of a potential hostage situation taking place in the country’s largest mosque, according to a statement. The warning, seen below via ABC News, states that several “heavily armed suicide bombers” entered the Karte Sakhi Mosque and could have fired on worshipers. The alleged bombers may now have taken hostages and Afghan security forces are now on hand.

Afghanistan’s health ministry told Sputnik News that at least 18 people were hurt after the gunmen opened fire in the Shiite temple, which was celebrating the holy day of Ashura.

The injured have reportedly been moved from the mosque and attack site to separate hospitals.

The Associated Press reported that three gunmen entered the mosque and took an unknown number of hostages.

Other reports have said at least eight people have been killed in the attack.

The motivation for the attack or who is responsible is currently unknown, but Afghanistan, with help from U.S. troops on the ground, has been dealing a recent wave of bombings.

Ashura is a holiday commemorating the death of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Husayn ibn Ali, at the Battle of Karbala in 680 BCE.

Afghanistan has experienced a wave of bombings and explosions in the past several months. Early last month, a three different bombings occurred in Kabul killing dozens and wounding almost 100 more, CNN reported. Other first reports said at least 24 were killed and 91 injured.

The Taliban, which is still fighting for control of the country after ruling for decades before the U.S’s war began in 2001, took responsiblity for the attacks in September.

  28. Savagery and Murder: An Epidemic of Black Violence Against Elderly Whites
    Another terrifying racial reality.

For quite some time, Democrats and other leftists have lamented the ample presence of whites in America. Oprah Winfrey, for example, memorably remarked that for “racism” to end, old whites “are going to have to die.”

Given the pervasive phenomenon of black-on-elderly white violence and murder, and the utter silence about it, it’s admittedly tempting to think that perhaps the extinction of elderly whites can’t happen quickly enough for some of those on the left.

Whatever the reason for the suppression of this epidemic, black-on-elderly white violence is very, very real.

Paul Monchnik survived combat in World War II. He returned to the United States to build a life and raise a family in Detroit.

Monchnik did not, however, survive the attack on his person and property that 17 year-old George Steward visited upon him in November of last year.

Steward, a black teen who lived with his grandfather next door to Monchnik, entered the latter’s home, beat him, and lit him on fire.

Last week, Steward was convicted of the grisly murder and issued a 30-60 year prison sentence.

    • Oprah Winfrey, for example, memorably remarked that for “racism” to end, old whites “are going to have to die.”

And now they’re being murdered. This is shocking.

  29. More Forgotten White Victims of Black Violence
What are their loved ones thinking of “white privilege”?

As BLM agitators and their leftist apologists in D.C. and the media engage in and excuse black mob violence over alleged “racism,” I can’t help but to think of the invisible white prey whose lives have been destroyed by black predators. I can’t help but to wonder what may be going on in the heads of whites who have had their loved ones taken from them by black criminals as they are incessantly told that blacks are victims and whites victimizers.

What are Eve Carson’s parents thinking as their President and his wife lecture them about the travails of being black in America?

Eve Carson was a 22 year-old student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was an honors student and the student body president. From the time Eve was in high school, she had always been impassioned about community service, making the world better.

But on March 5, 2008, her dreams would be extinguished as two thugs, Demario James Atwater and Laurence Alvin Lovette, Jr. shot Eve multiple times. Yet it was the shotgun blast to the head that ended Eve’s life. Her killers were captured—but not before they were seen on surveillance trying to use Eve’s ATM card.

What are Jennifer Moore’s parents thinking as Hillary Clinton assures them that all whites are “biased?”

Jennifer was an 18 year-old from New Jersey. In July of 2006, she was kidnapped, raped, and murdered by Draymond Coleman, a 35 year-old man with a lengthy criminal record. Police reported that Coleman beat and strangled his victim before stuffing her body into a duffel bag.

  30. Election 2016: The Threat of Immigration Anarchy Hangs in the Balance
    Opening the doors to terror.

Election Day is rapidly approaching. In considering what is at stake, it is important to understand that, as I recently noted, “The Three Most Important Issues For 2016: Immigration, Immigration, Immigration.”

Most polls skew how the concerns of the majority of Americans are reported by the media. Most Americans are most concerned about the threats posed by terrorists and criminals. All too many Americans fear losing their jobs and are concerned about the opportunities that their children will have in these United States. Generally, when polls and surveys are conducted, participants cannot pick more than one item that they consider to be the most important issue. When those polled need to decide what is their biggest worry, they tend to ignore the fact that failures of the immigration system profoundly undermine national security and have a huge impact on nearly every other issue of great concern.

In the Orwellian world of politics and journalism, cities that violate our immigration laws by shielding illegal aliens from detection are referred to as “sanctuary cities.” I addressed the threat that such jurisdictions create in my article, “Terrorism, Enclaves and Sanctuary Cities: How sanctuary cities facilitate the growth of terror enclaves in America.”

In point of fact, on October 3, 2016 the New York Times ran an article with the breathless title, “Millions at Risk of Deportation as Justices Refuse to Rehear Case.”

The “millions at risk” are aliens who either entered the United States without inspection. In the parlance of immigration enforcement personnel, such aliens are referred to as Entrants Without Inspection (EWI). They were not vetted and their presence in the United States is a violation of our laws that are supposed to prevent the entry of aliens who pose a threat to the safety and/or well-being of Americans.

Such “at risk” aliens also include those who, subsequent to being admitted into the United States, went on to violate the terms of their admission by remaining in the United States beyond their authorized period of admission if they were admitted as non-immigrant (temporary) visitors. Foreign students who fail to attend school or fail to maintain proper grades are subject to removal. Aliens who take jobs for which they lack authority are subject to removal, as are aliens who are admitted under the provisions of temporary work visas and fail to report for those jobs or leave those authorized jobs, but remain in the United States without permission.

  31. Refugees or an Occupation Army?

    by Maria Polizoidou
    October 11, 2016 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9071/greece-refugees-migrants

What does an occupation army do when it is installed in a country? It occupies the land, forcing residents to follow its own way of life. It implements measures against the country’s inhabitants, it propagandizes its beliefs and uses force to have them imposed.

This, sadly, is what has been happening in Greece from the migrants who seem to “forget” that they are hosted in Greece and force the Greeks to feel like guests in their own country.

If someone is a war refugee or his life is in danger in his homeland, it would seem appropriate, when he arrives in the country which offers him asylum, to be grateful to this country, respect its history, its people its values and its laws. The same would hold true for an immigrant who wants to go to a country where he hopes he will find a better future.

In Greece, conversely, illegal immigrants — all of whom the media call “refugees,” apparently trying artificially to legalize them in the moral consciousness of citizens — have been occupying spaces that do not belong to them, using violence, blocking roads, committing crimes against public property, acting aggressively toward residents and the police, and saying that they feel offended when they see symbols that represent Christianity. The guests seem to be trying to take over the house.

A few weeks ago, 200 North Africans and Pakistanis rioted in the middle of the night, demanding to leave Mytilene Island. They were chanting, “Jihad! Jihad!”, smashing the residents’ cars in the center of the island and disrupting the local community. The migrants claimed that someone told them about the death of seven migrants on a ship, so they rose up against the authorities. The police and NGO workers explained that this was misinformation, but the 200 migrants were evidently not interested in hearing that. The migrants were ready to wage jihad because they believed a rumor about an event for which, even had it been true, the Greek state and its inhabitants had no responsibility. The authorities were unsuccessful at calming them down and trying to make them return to their living area.

  32. Why Russia and Iran Are Abetting the Syrian Government

The Syrian government, Russia, and Iran are trying the change the demographic makeup of Syria, aiming to depopulate Syria of Sunni Arabs. All three see themselves in an existential battle against radical Sunnis and are now moving to repopulate formerly Sunni areas of Syria with Shiites – mostly from Iraq.

In Russia, where 98% of the Muslims are Sunni, the Russian government has undertaken a program – with some success – to entice Russian Sunnis to convert to Shiism.

    • As an added benefit the increased number of Iranian settlers makes it easier to claim Iraq as part of Iran.

  33. Turkey’s Dangerous Moves in Iraq

    by Burak Bekdil

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9107/turkey-iraq

In a span of five years Turkey has had serious political and military tensions with several countries in its vicinity: Israel, Syria, Russia, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus and Greece. Most recently, Iraq has also joined the club of hostilities surrounding Turkey.

Despite the Iraqi government’s vehement requests that Turkey withdraw its troops in Iraq, Ankara shrugs it off and says it will maintain its military presence in the neighboring country for “Iraq’s stability.” What a nice neighborly gesture! Behind the Turkish indifference lies sectarian concerns and ambitions.

On October 1, Turkey’s parliament extended the mandate of Turkish troops deployed in Iraqi territory by one more year. The troops are stationed near Bashiqa in northern Iraq — as unwanted guests. That sparked a row with Baghdad and may further complicate the cold sectarian war between the Sunnis in the region, supported by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and their Shiite enemies, supported by Iran and the Shiite-controlled government in Baghdad.

  34. From MERIA, published last month:
Turkey’s changing relations with the Iraqi Kurdish regional government

Since the Iraqi Kurdish rebellion in the early 1960s, Turkish policymakers have perceived Kurdish autonomy in northern Iraq as a major threat to the country’s national security, fearing that the Iraqi Kurdish experience would encourage Turkey’s Kurds to take similar steps towards autonomy and even independence. However, from the mid-2000s onwards, Turkey’s relationship with the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government has improved tremendously. This dramatic change has been driven, first, by the growing Turkish economy’s search for new markets and new energy sources; second, by the government’s flexible approach toward the Kurdish question; and third, by the rise of the Democratic Union Party in Syrian Kurdish politics.

  35. Syria’s Civil War: Stage for greater CHINESE involvement in the Middle East?

Since early 2016, China has increased its mediation efforts to help Syria achieve peace and stability. This study evaluates Chinese mediation efforts in the Syrian conflict by examining its motivations for becoming more involved in the peace process, as well as the implications of China’s longstanding non-interference policy in the Middle East. The Syrian peace process has offered a unique opportunity, and a stage, to predict what kind of role China might play in present and future wars and conflicts in the region. Although Chinese policy has not yet changed fundamentally, Beijing is under increasing pressure to take a more pragmatic and flexible approach in its non-interference policy.

  36. Why Russia and Iran Are Abetting the Syrian Government

The Syrian government, Russia, and Iran (SRI) are trying the change the demographic makeup of Syria. They aim to depopulate Syria of the Arab Sunnis, which, before the Arab Spring was the largest religio-ethnic group in Syria. They mostly inhabited a very fertile strip of land between Aleppo in the north, down to Damascus, and then southward to the Jordanian border. Those Arab Sunnis who did not leave are being forced to move to Idlib and Raqqa, near the Turkish border.

Examining SRI’s military campaign and its policy towards the refugees they have created suggests this SRI strategy. The groups and places which the Russians have been attacking are the traditional strongholds of the Sunni Arab population – as of late Aleppo – the largest city in Syria.

  37. Turkey: ‘Know your place!’ – Erdogan shuts down Iraqi PM over Mosul operation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi that the Turkish military would not take instructions from Bagdad, speaking from Istanbul, Tuesday, as Ankara prepares to take part in plans to retake the city of Mosul.

SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): “In the case of the troubles in Iraq and Syria, Turkey is the most responsible country in finding a solution or in taking the necessary precautions, which is essential for our brotherhood. We don’t have to get permission from anybody else for this and we do not plan to ask for permission.”

SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): “My distinguished brothers, we are soon going to take part in the operations in Iraq and Mosul, in the same mentality as we did in Jarablus. I am saying once again, he is insulting me, you are not my counterpart, you are not on my level, you are not my equivalent, I want you know that well, you are of the same quality as me, your screaming and shouting in Iraq is of no importance to us, we will do whatever is necessary. Who is this? The Prime Minister of Iraq. First you know your place.”

SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): “The military of the Republic of Turkey has not lost its standings so as to take instructions from you.”

  38. ISIS to Enemies: If You Approach We’ll Kill Yazidi Sex Slaves
The Islamic State is holding the women in homes in northern Iraq. With coalition forces just across a river, ISIS sent out this chilling warning

Facing further territorial losses, ISIS says it will kill its Yazidi sex slaves if coalition forces come any closer.

Islamic State is holding the women in a series of homes in al-Hakne, a village on the Tigris river in northern Iraq. Coalition forces have already taken the other side of the river and are threatening the ISIS stronghold.

In recent weeks at least one of the women committed suicide after facing torture and mistreatment, eyewitnesses told Almada newspaper. The 20 year old was raped, made pregnant and miscarried before seizing a gun from a sleeping guard and turning it on herself.

Since ISIS rose to power in this region two years ago it has wantonly taken local women and used them as sex slaves, particularly those from the Yazidi minority. Clarion Project reported numerous times on the mass rapes of women, their sale in sex markets, their distribution as gifts during Ramadan and their suicides and slaughter.

  39. A Tour of Tribal Europe: Doubt and Denial (Part II)
In France, a conversation with Muslim leaders made no mention of the fact that close to 30 percent of French Muslims support sharia law!

    Doubt and Denial

    France

There are roughly 1.4 million Muslims in France, with about 25 percent identifying themselves as ‘French Muslims.’ We met local Muslim leaders who had invited a rabbi to join them.

The overall conversation was that all is good with no mention of the fact that close to 30 percent of French Muslims support sharia law! They bemoaned the fact that the media paints them in a negative light, but when pressed about radicalization in the youth, they confessed there are huge problems both in society and especially in prisons.

After they felt comfortable (although they seemed to be speaking from a set script), they opened up and said that imams are being sent from Turkey, Morocco and Algeria who don’t speak the language and are paid by their own governments. The institutes that train the imams are funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar (thus the thrust of Wahhabi influences on the Muslim populous) and the imams are highly political.

    • Tribal Europe: Politics, Problems and Solutions (Part III)

As France heads into elections next year, the questions will be: What is the future of France? Multicultural or a uniquely French?

On September 25, I travelled with a group hosted by The Middle East Forum on a fact-finding mission to Europe. There were 33 attendees from Australia, UK, Canada and USA (academics, activists and ordinary citizens) and we spent two days each in Paris, Berlin and Stockholm. In each City we had a local guide, met government officials, organizations and civil society. The following report is not an opinion but based on facts. Political Climate

      France

Next year, France heads into elections, and the major election issues will be based on the following question: What is the future of France? Will it have a multicultural identity or a unique French identity?

Nicholas Sarkozy is making a comeback. Some of his measures are considered controversial, e.g., pre-arrests which says that a family members or friends of a terrorist should be put into detention under the control of a judge.

There is an intellectual debate going on in France about Islam and Muslims. Olivier Roy says, “It’s not Islam that’s being radicalized, its radicalization that’s being Islamized.”

Other intellectuals and politicians warm of an impending civil war unless things change drastically.

  41. October in Europe Brings More Radicalism
The first 10 days of October have seen a terror plot in Germany, 2,000 children on a watchlist in France and a former model arrested in the UK.

1 German police arrested a 22-year-old Syrian man in the eastern German city Leipzig on suspicion of terrorism. Jaber Albakr was the target of a massive manhunt launched on Sunday after police found hundreds of grams of explosives at an apartment in Chemnitz.

“The overall picture of the investigation, in particular the amount of the explosive found, suggests that the person was planning to carry out an Islamist-motivated attack,” the prosecutor’s office said Sunday.

Albakr was granted refugee status and allowed to stay in Germany last year, according to spokesman from Saxony’s criminal investigation unit Tom Berhardt.

Albakr is suspected of planning a bomb attack.

2 Attendance at Munich’s iconic beer festival Oktoberfest dropped to the lowest level in 15 years, as fears of sexual assault and terrorism rose. “Oktoberfest 2016 had around 5.6 million visitors, which is some 300,000 fewer than last year,” according to Heat Street.

This summer Germany saw a string of terrorist attacks by Islamist extremists. On New Year’s Eve large gangs of men molested women en-masse at Cologne train station as police struggled to control the crowd.
