“BRITAIN could face a fresh influx of up to 20,000 migrants as Italy’s interior ministry warns the country could be forced to close its reception centres.
The ministry has said a budget shortfall of €60million could lead to crowded reception centres closing within a matter of weeks.
If the closures go ahead, the migrants will be let loose and may be compelled to seek refuge in wealthier countries in northern Europe, including Britain.
Italian government ministers warned months ago the number of migrants entering the country was becoming “unmanageable” as more than 132,000 migrants have sought refuge in Italy this year alone.
As Italy warns its reception centres are at breaking point, the interior ministry hastened to add if migrants end up wandering the Italian streets, it “could create problems of public order because of the social tensions that it risks generating”.
The majority of the migrants crossed via the Mediterranean Sea from the North African coast from countries including Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Italy is currently paying between 25 and 45 euros per day to feed and shelter a total of 160,000 migrants.
And the government claims its budget is so overstretched that staff at some of the refugee centres have not received their salaries for more than six months.
Giuseppe Guerini, president of Confcooperative, a federation of NGOs, said: “There have never been such serious delays in payment (to migrant facilities) and beyond the very high risk of no longer being able to provide assistance to asylum seekers, it also poses problems for the staff of these centres.
“For more than six months, members of staff have not received their salaries. We’re at the point of collapse.”
Interior minister Angelino Alfano revealed the Italian treasury would need to release more money in order to prevent the reception centre closures.
The UN warned earlier this month that at least 235,000 refugees were waiting on the coast of Libya to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Italy.”

Hate graffiti spray-painted on wall and in yards
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies found graffiti in Hillsborough County at two different locations.
One wall was hit along Gornto Lake Road in Brandon, with the phrase “kill white people” spray painted. Other tags read “black lives matter” and “BLM.”
A crew painted over the phrases.
“It’s uncalled for, there’s a way to protest, there’s a way not to, this is just, it hurts everybody,” Cat D’Alessandro said.
She saw a deputy along the road working to cover up the hate message, bought her own spray paint cans and helped out.
“I was kind of sad really because why does it have to be like, why does it have to get to this,” she said.

MH17 was shot down by Russian-made missile fired from rebel-held area: prosecutors
NIEUWEGEIN, Netherlands (Reuters) – A Malaysian airliner shot down in eastern Ukraine was hit by a Russian-made Buk missile launched from a village held by rebels fighting Ukrainian government forces, international prosecutors said on Wednesday.
The findings challenge Moscow’s suggestion that Malaysia Airlines flight 17, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in July 2014, was brought down by the Ukrainian military. All 298 people on board, most of them Dutch citizens, were killed.
The prosecutors cannot file charges but victims’ relatives have been seeking details of who shot the plane down in the hope that it might lead eventually to prosecutions over an incident which led to a sharp rise in East-West tensions.
The Buk missile system used to shoot down the plane fired one missile from the village of Pervomaysk and was later returned to Russia, said the prosecutors, from the Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Malaysia and Ukraine.

It is very unlikely, given the number and coincidence of the incidents and clues over the last few weeks, that the events we are seeing are unrelated. But recognizing that the war this time is already underway is one of our biggest problems today.
A total of seven Afghan trainees have gone missing from programs at U.S. military bases in September 2016. Three of them disappeared at the same time, the weekend of the bombing (and bombing attempts) by Ahmad Rahami in New Jersey and New York, and the mass attack by Islamic terrorist Dahir Adan in Minnesota. Those attacks were all mounted on Saturday, 17 September.
According to Bill Gertz at Washington Free Beacon, a military source had this to say about the three Afghans who went missing the weekend of the attacks:
This latter point is a narrow and misleading view. The Afghans going AWOL may have no specific connection to Ahmad Rahami. But concluding that the Afghans and Rahami are not loosely part of a larger, centrally motivated jihadi effort would be an intellectual absurdity. You also believe that the gun recovered at the scene of the shooting was planted there by the cops and that Scott and his wife, Rakeyia, had enjoyed twenty blissful years of marriage before police cut him down in his prime for no better reason than they dislike black people.
But newly unearthed documents suggest there was trouble in paradise. Charlotte NBC affiliate WCNC reports that in October 2015 Scott’s wife filed a restraining order against her husband.
In that order, a copy of which appears below, Rakeyia Scott checked the “yes” box in response to the question of whether there was” any reason that law enforcement officer should consider the defendant a potential threat (i.e., carries concealed weapon.” To the followup query, “If yes, specify the circumstances,” she wrote, “he carries a “9mm black.”

Why I Switched My Endorsement from Clinton to Trump
As most of you know, I had been endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, for my personal safety, because I live in California. It isn’t safe to be a Trump supporter where I live. And it’s bad for business too. But recently I switched my endorsement to Trump, and I owe you an explanation. So here it goes.
1. Things I Don’t Know: There are many things I don’t know. For example, I don’t know the best way to defeat ISIS. Neither do you. I don’t know the best way to negotiate trade policies. Neither do you. I don’t know the best tax policy to lift all boats. Neither do you. My opinion on abortion is that men should follow the lead of women on that topic because doing so produces the most credible laws. So on most political topics, I don’t know enough to make a decision. Neither do you, but you probably think you do.
Given the uncertainty about each candidate – at least in my own mind – I have been saying I am not smart enough to know who would be the best president. That neutrality changed when Clinton proposed raising estate taxes. I understand that issue and I view it as robbery by government.
I’ll say more about that, plus some other issues I do understand, below.
2. Confiscation of Property: Clinton proposed a new top Estate Tax of 65% on people with net worth over $500 million. Her website goes to great length to obscure the actual policy details, including the fact that taxes would increase on lower value estates as well. See the total lack of transparency here, where the text simply refers to going back to 2009 rates. It is clear that the intent of the page is to mislead, not inform.
So don’t fall for the claim that Clinton has plenty of policy details on her website. She does, but it is organized to mislead, not to inform. That’s far worse than having no details.

2 Folsom Fair tourists attacked in apparent hate crime
What was supposed to be a weekend of revelry and excitement for two friends in town for San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair turned ugly Saturday night when five assailants attacked the men with pepper spray for no apparent reason other than they are gay.
The violence was particularly shocking for Neil Frias and Jeff White, both 28, because they were assaulted in a city lauded for its progressive values and broad acceptance of the LGBT community.
“I’m trying to make sense of it,” Frias, who works as a publicist in Manhattan, said Sunday. “I would think what happened last night would happen somewhere else, not here.”
The friends were visiting from New York for the weekend festivities surrounding Sunday’s Folsom Street Fair, a world-famous leather-themed street party in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood packed by fetishists celebrating the city’s kinky subculture.

Louisiana attorney general: Crime is up in ‘sanctuary cities’
Louisiana’s chief legal officer said Tuesday that crime has increased in so-called “sanctuary cities” that pledge not to pursue or prosecute illegal immigrants.
In prepared remarks to the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said sanctuary city policies “allow illegals to commit crimes, then roam free in our communities.”
The remarks came in a hearing on New Orleans, and how the city has become a “sanctuary city” following new policies that went into effect on Feb. 28 that forbid city police from inquiring into an individual’s immigration status. Those policies were written by the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division following a request in 2010 by Mayor Mitch Landrieu for the agency to help reform the city’s police department.
Landry, a former House member, cited recent statistics from Los Angeles, another sanctuary city, to show that crime jumps in these jurisdictions.
“[L]os Angeles saw all crime rise in 2015: violent crime up 19.9 percent, homicides up 10.2 percent, shooting victims up 12.6 percent, rapes up 8.6 percent, robberies up 12.3 percent, and aggravated assault up 27.5 percent,” Landry said.

You may have seen the headlines claiming that “hate crimes” against Muslims have soared to levels not seen since 9/11. According to this controversial study, hate crimes had increased 78%. All the media had to do was fill in the boilerplate language blaming Trump and Islamophobic discourse by conservatives.
These numbers come from the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University San Bernardino. It’s conveniently located around 11 miles from the site of the Muslim massacre in San Bernardino. One of its authors, Kevin Grisham, was the former director of the Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, and his writings reveal a certain degree of sympathy for Islamists.
The Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism’s board includes Hussein Ibish, who had described Hezbollah’s Islamic terrorists as a “liberation force”.

Terror Through Asylum
European nations offer open arms to ticking time bombs.
The police in the German city of Cologne recently arrested Mohammad J., a 16-year-old Syrian asylum seeker. He and his parents arrived in Germany in January 2016 and applied for asylum there – along with more than one million other aslyum seekers, most of whom were from the Middle East and North Africa. In Internet chats Mohammad J. expressed his “unmistakable willingness” to carry out a bombing attack, Klaus-Stephan Becker from Cologne’s Criminal Police claimed.
A chat partner from abroad gave him “clear hints” on how to make a bomb, Becker said. Yet no further preparations had been made by the arrested terror suspect. The Cologne police discovered that the suspect’s cell phone showed that he received instructions from “a person with links to ISIS who is living abroad.” This person succeeded in recruiting the 16-year-old Syrian asylum seeker.
Mohammad J. was not the only Syrian asylum seeker who has been arrested recently. The well-informed German newspaper Bild reported on September 13, 2014, that the German anti-terror unit “GSG9” arrested three Syrian “refugees” in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony (near Hamburg). They were 26-year-old Mohammed A., 18-year-old Ibrahim M. and 17-year-old Mahir al-H. The German federal prosecutor said that these three young Syrians arrived in Germany in November 2015, either with a pre-planned mission or waiting for further instructions.

Raymond Ibrahim on Islam, ISIS, and the West
BREAKING: Injuries Reported In Townville Elementary School Shooting
At least two children have been injured after a shooting at Townville Elementary School in Anderson County, according to scanner traffic. EMS and LifeFlight are responding to the scene along with units from multiple law enforcement agencies.
The coroner said that a man was dead near the school and the death is possibly related to the incident at the school, reporter Mike Ellis from the Independent Mail reported on Twitter. No further details were available on the fatality or its precise location.
The incident was first reported shortly after 2 p.m., according to reports on social media. Witnesses on social media reported seeing dozens of emergency vehicles speeding up Highway 24 toward the school. CNN – Congress overrides Obama’s veto of 9/11 bill
Families of those killed in the terror attacks on 9/11 are now legally allowed to sue Saudi Arabia, after Congress voted Wednesday to override President Barack Obama’s veto of the legislation, the first override of his presidency.
The votes by the House and Senate were overwhelming. Members of both parties broke into applause on the House floor after the vote.
The Senate approved the override on a 97-1 vote, with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid the lone Senator voting to sustain the president’s veto. Hours later, the vote in the House was 348-77, with one Democratic member voting “present.”
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said aboard Air Force One before the House had voted that the Senate’s override is the “single most embarrassing thing the Senate has done since 1983,” referring to the last time the Senate overrode a veto by such a large margin.
The remark immediately infuriated lawmakers and staffers.
“It’s amateur hour at the White House,” one Democratic aide said.
“Asking us to stand between 9/11 families and their day in court is asking a lot,” Democratic Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware said in response.
In the House, New Jersey GOP Rep. Chris Smith urged members to override the President’s veto, showing a poster of a New York Daily News edition after Congress initially approved the bill with a picture of Obama standing with the Saudi King and the headline: “Don’t choose THEM before U.S.”
Smith said, “The President chose the King and he vetoed the bill and we can correct that here today.”
Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, did not vote.
The bipartisan vote was a rebuke of the President who had argued the Justice for State Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) — which for the first time would allow suits in American courts against state sponsors of terrorist attacks inside the US — could open the US government to lawsuits for the actions of military service members and diplomats.
Obama also warned it could damage America’s relationship with Saudi Arabia, a troubled but key Middle East ally, and other allies who might be accused of terrorism.
But the powerful emotional appeal of providing 9/11 families a legal avenue to pursue justice proved too strong and carried the day
“The victims of 9/11 have fought for 15 long years to make sure that those responsible for the senseless murder of thousands of innocent men, women and children, and injuries to thousands others, are held accountable. JASTA becoming law is a tremendous victory toward that effort,” said Terry Strada, National Chair of the 9/11 Families & Survivors United for Justice Against Terrorism. “We rejoice in this triumph and look forward to our day in court and a time when we may finally get more answers regarding who was truly behind the attacks,”
The President spoke by phone to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Reid this week to urge them to sustain his veto. In a follow up letter Tuesday, Obama said he was “firmly committed” to assisting the 9/11 families but that JASTA was the wrong approach.
“Enacting JASTA into law … would neither protect Americans from terrorists attacks nor improve the effectiveness of our response to such attacks. Doing so would instead threaten to erode sovereign principles that protect the United States, including our U.S. Armed Forces and other officials, overseas,” Obama wrote. “That is why I vetoed the bill and why I believe you should vote to sustain the veto.”
But sponsors of the measure said it was more important to give the 9/11 families their day in court than to worry about the possible fallout with Saudi Arabia, which they argued wouldn’t have anything to worry about if it was not connected to the terror plot.
“How can anyone look at the families in the eye and tell them that they shouldn’t have the opportunity to seek justice against a foreign government responsible for the death of their loved one?” asked Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, the chief Republican sponsor of the bill. “At the end of the day, this vote is about doing what’s right for the American people.”
“The bill is near and dear to my heart as a New Yorker because it would allow the victims of the 9/11 to pursue some small measure of justice finally giving them the legal avenue to pursue foreign sponsors of a terrorist act that took the lives of their loved ones,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, the chief Democratic sponsor.
The concerns raised by the White House were echoed by several senior senators who had worked to try to change the legislation before it passed the Senate.
One of those senators, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker, R-Tennessee, said he would watch for possible “blowback” from the law to determine if Congress should rewrite portions of it in the near future. He and other senators wrote a letter to Cornyn and Schumer laying out their concerns.
Despite his misgivings, Corker announced in an emotional speech on the floor he would vote to override the President’s veto in order to give the 9/11 families a chance to seek justice.

The Senate and the House are expected to vote this week on whether to override President Obama’s veto of a bill that would allow families of the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks to sue Saudi Arabia for any role it had in the terrorist operations. The lawmakers should let the veto stand.
The legislation, called the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, would expand an exception to sovereign immunity, the legal principle that protects foreign countries and their diplomats from lawsuits in the American legal system. While the aim — to give the families their day in court — is compassionate, the bill complicates the United States’ relationship with Saudi Arabia and could expose the American government, citizens and corporations to lawsuits abroad. Moreover, legal experts like Stephen Vladeck of the University of Texas School of Law and Jack Goldsmith of Harvard Law School doubt that the legislation would actually achieve its goal.
Co-sponsored by Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York, and Senator John Cornyn, Republican of Texas, the measure is intended to overcome a series of court rulings that have blocked all lawsuits filed by the 9/11 families against the Saudi government. The Senate passed the bill unanimously in May, and the House gave its approval this month.
The legislation would, among other things, amend a 1976 law that grants other countries broad immunity from American lawsuits — unless the country is on the State Department’s list of state sponsors of terrorism (Iran, Sudan and Syria) or is alleged to have committed a terrorist attack that killed Americans on United States soil. The new bill would clarify that foreign governments can be held liable for aiding terrorist groups, even if that conduct occurred overseas.
Advocates say the measure is narrowly drawn, but administration officials argue that it would apply much more broadly and result in retaliatory actions by other nations. The European Union has warned that if the bill becomes law, other countries could adopt similar legislation defining their own exemptions to sovereign immunity. Because no country is more engaged in the world than the United States — with military bases, drone operations, intelligence missions and training programs — the Obama administration fears that Americans could be subject to legal actions abroad.
The legislation is motivated by a belief among the 9/11 families that Saudi Arabia played a role in the attacks, because 15 of the 19 hijackers, who were members of Al Qaeda, were Saudis. But the independent American commission that investigated the attacks found no evidence that the Saudi government or senior Saudi officials financed the terrorists.
Proponents of the legislation cite two assassination cases in which legal claims were allowed against Chile and Taiwan. Administration officials, however, say that those cases alleged the direct involvement of foreign government agents operating in the United States.
The current debate is complicated by the fact that Saudi Arabia is a difficult ally, at odds with the United States over the Iran nuclear deal, a Saudi-led war in Yemen and the war in Syria. It is home of the fundamentalist strand of Islam known as Wahhabism, which has inspired many of the extremists the United States is trying to defeat. But it is also a partner in combating terrorism. The legislation could damage this fraught relationship. Riyadh has already threatened to withdraw billions of dollars in American-based assets to protect them from court action.
The desire to assist the Sept. 11 families is understandable, and the bill is expected to become law. The question is, at what cost?

BREITBART – Saudi Arabia, Gulf States Prepare to Strike Back Following 9/11 Bill Veto Override
Saudi Arabia and its allies have reportedly threatened to retaliate against the United States over a law that allows the families of 9/11 victims to sue the Gulf Arab kingdom in U.S. court for any role it may have played in the 2001 attacks.
White House and top Pentagon officials have warned the contentious bill would place American troops and interests at risk.
The Associated Press (AP) explains:
The kingdom maintains an arsenal of tools to retaliate with, including curtailing official contacts, pulling billions of dollars from the US economy, and persuading its close allies in the Gulf Cooperation Council [GCC] to scale back counterterrorism cooperation, investments and US access to important regional air bases.
Earlier this week, Defense Secretary Ash Carter sent a letter to Congress saying “important counterterrorism efforts abroad” could be harmed.
He indicated that enacting the bill into law “could be devastating to the U.S. military” and warned that it “could lead to the public disclosure of American secrets and even undercut counterterrorism efforts by sowing mistrust among U.S. partners and allies,” reports AP.
Chas Freeman, former U.S. assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs and ambassador to Saudi Arabia during operation Desert Storm, told AP the Saudis could retaliate in ways that place America’s strategic interests at risk, like permissive rules for overflight between Europe and Asia and the Qatari air base from which U.S. military operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria are directed and supported.
“The souring of relations and curtailing of official contacts that this legislation would inevitably produce could also jeopardize Saudi cooperation against anti-American terrorism,” he said, according to AP.
Despite all the warnings, the legislation became law despite President Barack Obama’s veto. Both Senators and Congressmen voted Wednesday in favor of overriding the president’s move. The vote passed the bill as a statute, marking the first time Congress has quashed a veto during Obama’s two terms in office.
The GCC, a six-member coalition of Gulf Arab states that includes Saudi Arabia, expressed concern when the U.S. Congress passed the bill earlier this month. Saudi Arabia, a longstanding ally of the United States, has been described as the GCC’s most powerful member.
In a statement issued September 12, Abdullatif al-Zayani, secretary general of the GCC, said the law “contravenes the foundations and principles of relations between states, notably sovereign immunity,” adding that it “will create a grave precedent.”
“This should be clear to America and to the rest of the world: When one GCC state is targeted unfairly, the others stand around it,” Abdulkhaleq Abdullah, an Emirati Gulf specialist and professor of political science at United Arab Emirates University, told AP after the U.S. senate’s veto override Wednesday.
“All the states will stand by Saudi Arabia in every way possible,” he also said.
Abdullah noted that if the bill is enacted into law, he expects the GCC will take action that is more assertive and independent of the U.S. in places like Yemen, Bahrain and Egypt.
“This is not just a threat. This is a reality,” he declared.
Of the 19 al Qaeda plane hijackers who carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people on U.S. soil, 15 called Saudi Arabia home.
In an op-ed that was first published on the London-based Saudi daily Al-Sharq Al–Awsat, Abdulrahman al-Rashed, the former general manager of the kingdom’s Al Arabiya News Channel, wrote of the bills passage by the U.S. congress:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate acted decisively Wednesday to override President Barack Obama’s veto of Sept. 11 legislation, setting the stage for the contentious bill to become law despite flaws that Obama and top Pentagon officials warn could put U.S. troops and interests at risk.
Five weeks before elections, lawmakers refused to oppose a measure backed by 9/11 families who say they are still seeking justice 15 years after the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. The bill permits them to sue the government of Saudi Arabia for the kingdom’s alleged backing of the 19 hijackers who carried out the plot. Saudi Arabia is staunchly opposed to the measure.
Senators voted 97-1 to override Obama’s veto. The lone “no” vote was Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
A House vote on Obama’s veto was expected later in the day Wednesday. If the House also overrides, the bill becomes law. During his nearly two terms in office, Obama has never had a veto overridden by Congress.

Orlando Terror Attack ‘Triggered’ by Pentagon Drone Strike
FBI withheld phone transcripts revealing Mateen’s motive
The domestic terrorist behind the Orlando nightclub massacre was motivated by a Pentagon drone strike in Iraq a month before the shooting, according to police transcripts made public last week.
Conversations between Omar Mateen and an Orlando police negotiator on June 12 were kept secret by FBI and local police until Friday. The secrecy contributed to misleading media accounts of the terrorist’s motives in the days after the killings.
The transcripts were released by Orlando police Friday after a Florida court hearing held in response to a lawsuit filed by several news organizations.
Mateen killed 49 people during the attack on the Pulse, a gay nightclub, and wounded 53 others. Police eventually stormed the club and killed Mateen in a shootout after talks aimed at convincing him to surrender failed.
During an exchange in the early morning hours of June 12, an Orlando Police Department negotiator identified only as “Andy” asked Mateen, who was speaking by cell phone from inside the club, to tell him what was going on.
“Yo, the air strike that killed Abu Wahid a few weeks ago… that’s what triggered it, okay?” said Mateen, who earlier in the conversation identified himself as a follower the Islamic State terror group.
“They should have not bombed and killed Abu Wahid,” the former security guard declared. “Do your fucking homework and figure out who Abu Wahid is, okay?”
Additionally, Mateen praised one of the bombers of the 2013 Boston Marathon, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and another domestic terrorist whose name was transcribed as unintelligible in the released transcript.
At other points, Mateen told the negotiator that the United States needed to stop all bombing in Iraq and Syria.
Initial reports from several news outlets reporting on the mass shooting variously described Mateen as gay, a “homophobe” and a “wife beater,” despite his having made claims of allegiance to the Islamic State.
The New York Times, for example, stated in an editorial three days after the shooting that the “precise motive [of Mateen] remains unclear.” The editorial then said it was “evident that Mr. Mateen was driven by hatred toward gays and lesbians.” Investigators later dismissed as a false claim that Mateen was driven to the killing spree by gay self-hatred.
The Orlando attack was the deadliest terrorist incident since the September 11, 2001, attacks. The FBI would later reveal it investigated Mateen twice but claimed there was a lack of evidence he was linked to Islamic terrorism.
The Orlando attack came just over a month after the Pentagon announced on May 9 that a U.S.-led coalition air strike killed Abu Wahib, a middle-level Islamic State military leader in charge of Iraq’s Anbar province on May 6.
Wahib was blown up along with three other jihadists in a drone strike on the car they men were riding in. The terror leader had been a high profile figure who appeared in several gruesome execution videos.
A defense official said the raid that killed Wahib employed a missile-firing unmanned aerial vehicle against the terrorist’s car. The fact that a drone was used in the attack also may explain the government’s reluctance to release the transcript.
The secrecy surrounding the transcripts of Mateen’s comments appears based on Obama administration fears that publicizing the jihadist’s statements would fuel further attacks.
The administration has sought to play down domestic ISIS-inspired terror attacks as disconnected from the Islamic ideology. The number of ISIS-linked attacks has increased over the past year.
FBI and Orlando police spokesmen declined to comment when asked why the full transcript was not made public earlier.
Heather Fagan, deputy chief of staff in the Orlando mayor’s office, said the transcripts were withheld by the FBI during the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigation and released last week.
“The Department of Justice and the FBI recently advised the city of the FBI’s determination that the 911 calls no longer need to be protected as their release would not compromise the ongoing investigation into the Pulse nightclub massacre,” she told the Free Beacon.
The FBI and Justice Department released a partial transcript of the calls June 20—eight days after the attack. But those transcripts made no reference to the Iraqi airstrike that killed Wahid, or the Boston Marathon bomber.
Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.), a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said during his first call with the crisis negotiator, Mateen explicitly stated U.S. involvement in Syria and Iraq motivated the attack.
“This fact differs dramatically and widely from the initial media and police reports,” he said. “It is important for us to understand why that was the case. If officials intentionally sought to downplay the threat from radical Islamic terrorism, that would not only be wrong, but would also be a disservice to the American public.”
Counterterrorism experts questioned the FBI’s failure to release the full transcript sooner and suggested it is part of U.S. government efforts to obscure the nature of the domestic terror threat.
Sebastian Gorka, a counterterrorism expert, said the 911 transcript “completely destroys” the White House policy narrative of so-called “lone wolf” terror attacks.
“Omar Mateen isn’t a random individual discontented from a broader conspiracy,” Gorka said, noting the terrorist’s claim of allegiance to the Islamic State ties him to a broader global jihadist movement.
Also, Mateen’s references in the transcript to the Islamic observance of Ramadan and fasting the day of the attack “flies in the face of the administration’s argument that these attacks are wholly disconnected from Islam,” added Gorka, a professor of strategy and irregular warfare at the Institute of World Politics.
“Justifying the attack as a response to our targeting of Abu Wahib, the ISIS head of the Al Anbar Lions, reemphasizes to reality that this is a borderless war in which the individual neutralization of high value targets will not bring us ultimate victory,” Gorka said. “Only the delegitimization of the ideology that men like Mateen adhere to can do that.”
Former Rep. Pete Hoekstra, former chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said the failure to release the Mateen transcript earlier highlights the government’s reluctance to expose the threat.
“It is very disappointing that information like this is consistently withheld,” Hoekstra said. “It’s a pattern that is deeply troubling and calls into question the FBI’s whole strategy of keeping America safer by hiding information.”
Said Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor who handled terrorism cases: “The catalyst for all jihadist terrorism is Islamic supremacist ideology and its agenda to impose sharia.”
“We remain willfully blind to this ideology, so we are increasingly vulnerable to attacks,” McCarthy added. “And by failing to expose and discredit the ideology, we fail both our security and our pro-Western Muslim allies at home and abroad.”
The transcript also reveals that Mateen used deception in his calls to police in an apparent effort to prevent SWAT teams from conducting a raid against his location. Mateen falsely told the negotiator that he had planted car bombs around Orlando and was preparing to outfit four explosive vests on hostages, which he described as similar to the suicide bomb vests worn by Islamic terrorists in the November 2015 mass shootings in Paris.
During the initial conversation, Mateen was asked his name and told the negotiator, “My name is I pledge of allegiance to (unidentifiable name) of the Islamic State.”
The FBI statement said the 911 calls made by Mateen would not be released “out of respect for the victims” of the mass shooting. It stated that Mateen wanted the United States to stop bombing in Iraq and Syria. The FBI said Mateen told police, “I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings” and that he pledged allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.
A joint Justice Department-FBI statement issued June 20 included a partial release of the Mateen calls but did not disclose the details made public on Friday.
“The purpose of releasing the partial transcript of the shooter’s interaction with 911 operators was to provide transparency, while remaining sensitive to the interests of the surviving victims, their families, and the integrity of the ongoing investigation,” the statement said.
“We also did not want to provide the killer or terrorist organizations with a publicity platform for hateful propaganda.”
The statement went on to say that unreleased portions of the transcript that named the terrorist organizations and leaders “have caused an unnecessary distraction from the hard work that the FBI and our law enforcement partners have been doing to investigate this heinous crime.”
“As much of this information had been previously reported, we have re-issued the complete transcript to include these references in order to provide the highest level of transparency possible under the circumstances.”
The statement was referring to the first 911 call made by Mateen. The detailed calls to the police negotiator were withheld from release.
Police in Orlando released a number of 911 calls from victims in and around the club during the attack, but are withholding 230 calls made by victims to 911 emergency dispatchers under a law that allows keeping audio and transcripts secret when the calls involve a person being killed.

Moscow Makes Public Full Text of Russia-US Deal on Syria
Moscow made public the full text of the Russia-US deal on Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday.
The text of the agreement was published on the site of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to the Russia-US deal on Syria, force can be used for self-defense during the ceasefire, while airstrikes use of mortars and rockets, as well as the capture of territory is prohibited.
The main priority in Syria, according to the document, is the demarcation of territory controlled by Daesh and al-Nusra Front terrorist groups and territories controlled by Syrian rebels.
Russia and the US can exit the deal on Syria if it is not implemented, according to the text of the agreement.
“Every side reserves the right to exit the deal if it believes that its provisions are not implemented.”
All Syrians, including members of armed opposition, can leave Aleppo via Castello road, according to the deal.
Neither Syrian army, nor the rebels are allowed to occupy new territory, controlled by the other side. The deal also stipulates areas where the Syrian Air Force will not conduct combat missions.
Commenting on the release of the document, the foreign ministry said that it had proposed to make the document public, however, Washington refused to do so. The move caused “some questions about whether the US is sincere or not.”
“The unwillingness [of the US] to publicly confirm their commitment to separate opposition from al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, and jointly conduct strikes against terrorists and their partners in crime who did not cease hostilities called for special attention.”
Moscow urged Washington to make public the mandate of the joint center on the coordination of airstrikes against terrorists in Syria and the agreement on the monitoring of a road to Aleppo.
“Washington assured us in February — seven months ago — that they will apply maximum effort to extract opposition forces of the Syrian opposition it has control over. However, in practice this did not happen, which allowed jihadists to use ‘moderate’ opposition groups like a shield while continuing their bloody attacks in hope of impunity.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry yet again urged the US to fulfill its promise and separate “moderate” Syrian rebels and al-Nusra Front as “many rebel groups Washington considers “moderate” are fighting together with al-Nusra Front and even merged with it.”
“We repeat that the policy of connivance toward terrorists causes troubles,” the ministry emphasized.
On September 9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry announced a new plan on Syria, which stipulates a ceasefire that came into force on September 12. However, the cessation of hostilities was declared ineffective because of numerous violations of the ceasefire by Syrian rebels.

In a phone call with Sergei Lavrov, Mr Kerry said the US held Russia responsible for the use of incendiary and bunker bombs against the city.
The US state department said it was making preparations to suspend talks.
Aleppo has come under heavy aerial bombardment since the end of a ceasefire a week ago.
In response to Mr Kerry’s phone call, the Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN, Evgeny Zagaynov, said the “trend” of Russia being blamed for the attacks in Syria must stop.
“It’s become a sort of unfortunate tradition that the majority of strikes on civilian facilities in Syria, without checking it … is blamed on Damascus or Russia,” he said.
But Moscow said on Wednesday they would send diplomats to Geneva to talk to the US about normalising the situation in Aleppo.
“On orders of the Russian president, we are ready to continue joint work with our American partners on the Syrian issue,” the defence ministry said in a statement.
Some 250,000 people are trapped in the rebel-held east of the city. They are under siege from Russian-backed Syrian government forces, which have launched a fierce campaign to recapture the area. The bombardment has been among the worst in the history of the five-year conflict.
The US has accused Russia of taking part in strikes on civilian targets and possibly committing war crimes.
The two nations have been locked in talks in an attempt to revive a fragile peace agreement, but the US said last week that Russia had openly lied to the UN about its intentions…”

Yesterday, I visited Maassluis. It is town near Rotterdam, where the indigenous Dutch inhabitants have become the victims of immigrant youths of Moroccan descent.
Cars have been demolished, houses vandalized, people threatened. The Dutch no longer feel free and safe in their own city. When the local radio station interviewed some of the victims and referred to the perpetrators as Moroccans, it received an anonymous letter: “You are racists! Your time will come! I won’t take care of it because I am too old. But our boys are the new soldiers.”
Maassluis. It is just one of the many Dutch towns and neighborhoods terrorized by Moroccan or Turkish youth gangs. Others are Schilderswijk, Oosterwei, Kanaleneiland, Zaandam, Helmond,… Not surprisingly, a poll shows that 43% of the Dutch people want fewer Moroccan immigrants in our country. These people are not racists; they are decent people, patriots who love their country and do not want to lose it.
The great Ronald Reagan once said that “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” These wise words are more true today than ever before. We are the free men and women of the West.
Freedom is our birthright. But if we fail to defend it, we are bound to lose it. And, sadly, that is exactly what is happening today.
2016’s Black Summer of Jihad, with terror attacks all over the free world, teaches us that the enemies of freedom are already among us. The ruling elites all over the Western world have accepted millions of people into our countries without demanding that they assimilate.
Many of these immigrants acquired our nationality. But some do not care for our country at all. They do not love it. They do not respect it. Nor do they respect us and our values.
They carry our passports, but they do not belong to us. They spit on our identity and behave like conquerors.
This is particularly true of many immigrants with an Islamic background. That is not surprising. Islam is a totalitarian ideology aimed at establishing tyrannical power over non-Muslims.
Islam commands its followers to make all nations submit to Islamic Sharia law, if necessary through the use of violence and terror.
Last week, we had an important debate in the Dutch Parliament. We discussed the future of our country. I pointed out that we will have no future if we do not de-islamize the Netherlands. Our time is a time for action.
Islam is an existential threat to our survival as a free nation. It violates all the basic principles and freedoms of our Constitution. It discriminates non-Muslims, who have no rights under Islamic Sharia law.
It discriminates women, who according to the Koran are worth only half a man. There is no freedom of religion under Islam. Apostates deserve the death penalty, the Koran tells Muslims that Jews are pigs and monkeys, and Christians have to submit or die.
There is no freedom of speech in Islam either. Criticism of Allah or Muhammad is punishable by death. There is no right to personal integrity. Islam advocates cruel corporal punishments, such as whipping, amputations, stoning, beheading. There is no right to live in peace and dignity. Islam orders war until the whole world has been submitted to Allah.
Some seem to think that by allowing freedom to the enemies of freedom we prove that we stand for freedom. The opposite is true. By refusing to draw boundaries to our tolerance, we are handing away our freedom. If we continue being naive we will lose everything.
By depriving Islam of the means to destroy freedom, we are not violating freedom; we are preserving it. We should not turn freedom into a snake eating its own tail. Freedom requires a democracy willing to defend itself.
We need a political freedom agenda. It looks like this.
We must end all immigration from Islamic countries. There is more than enough Islam in our countries already. Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, expects 77 million immigrants to enter Europe in the next half century. Most of them are Islamic.
If we do not stop them, we will be facing a catastrophe. We will be colonized and Islamized. We will cease to exist. We can already see how disruptive relatively small groups are. Research by the University of Amsterdam showed that 11% of the Muslims in the Netherlands are prepared to use violence for the sake of Islam. This is more than 100,000 people.
The more Islam we get, the more dangerous and less free our society becomes. Let us keep our countries safe. And lock the door to Islam.
We must also stimulate voluntary remigration of those who are already here. And those who stay must adopt our values; they must assimilate and integrate.
It is not extremist to demand that Muslims, who want to live in our midst, renounce the hateful doctrine and texts of Islam and abide by our laws. If they commit crimes, act against our laws, impose Sharia law, or wage jihad, we must expel them. My party wants to strip all criminals with dual nationalities of their Dutch nationality and expel them to the country of their other nationality.
These measures are part of our de-islamization plans and have been on our party platform for over ten years.
And, finally, in order to remain free, we must honor our freedoms by using them. That is why I will never give up my freedom of speech. Not in parliament nor anywhere else.
I have been dragged to court for asking party members at a meeting whether they want more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. 65% of Dutch Moroccan youths have been suspected of criminal activities. They are six times as often suspects of violent crime as indigenous Dutch, and 22 times as often of hold-ups and street robberies.
They also constitute almost 80% of the Dutch jihadis traveling fighting in Syria for IS. Just last week, a Dutch Moroccan was arrested in Rotterdam for supplying French jihadis with Kalashnikovs and explosives. Nevertheless, according to the public prosecutor, asking Dutch voters whether they want more or less Moroccans in the Netherlands is a criminal offense.
But no matter the outcome of the trial, I will keep speaking. No judge will ever be able to silence me. And no jihadist will succeed either. For twelve years already, I have been on the death list of several Islamic terror organizations, from al-Qaeda to IS and the Taliban. I am under 24/7 protection by the police. I live in a safe house, am driven around in armored cars, have to wear bullet proof vests in public, and have to stand trial in converted bunkers. But I will never shut up.
The more they try to do so, the louder I will speak.
It is time to raise our voices. Let them sound like thunder: Freedom has a price. The price is to always defend it, no matter the consequences. To be brave and let no-one bully us into submission. So, let us do our duty and ensure that Reagan’s warning never becomes a reality: Extinction is not an option! Freedom or Islam. You cannot have it both ways. There is no middle way.

“A Saudi princess has been accused of ordering her guard to “beat up and kill” an interior decorator in Paris.
It all allegedly started when the decorator took photos inside the woman’s apartment block on the chic Avenue Foch in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, reported Le Point newspaper.
The Saudi Princess accused the man of taking the pictures just to sell them to the press, although he said it was just part of the job.
“You have to kill this dog, he doesn’t deserve to live,” the princess allegedly told her bodyguard soon afterwards.
It’s alleged that the bodyguard then struck the decorator in the head before tying his hands.
The guard, who was (legally) armed, then reportedly ordered the Parisian decorator to kneel and kiss the feet of the princess, who is the daughter of the former king Khalid of Saudi Arabia.
The victim told police that the ordeal lasted for four hours before another man intervened, taking a copy of the Parisian man’s ID and then telling him “to never return to the 16th arrondissement of Paris”.
The worker reportedly still tried to charge the Saudis for the decorating job, but was never paid the €20,000 he demanded. He claims that he was never given back his tools either.
The man has reported the matter to police, who said that his bruises were visible at the time of the report.”

In a documentary to be screened on Wednesday evening the prosecutor of Nice makes a chilling disclosure that as many as five serious plots have been thwarted since the atrocious truck attack on the Promenade des Anglais on July 14th.
In a documentary titled “Deradicalized” to be shown on France 3 prosecutor Jean-Michel Prêtre said the plots were planned to target particular sporting events, schools or places of worship across the Côte d’Azur.
“Several cases were handed over to the specialist counter-terrorist judges in Paris,” said Prêtre.
“They involved plots to attack places of worship or certain gatherings, sporting events, stadiums, schools, which are recurrent themes on the communication published on the internet.”
The prosecutor said the cases sent to specialist counter-terrorist magistrates were of individuals apparently ready to act who had “began to articulate quite specific things about a specific target,” the prosecutor said without giving further details.
Earlier in the week the prosecutor had told a court in Nice how some “70 cases related to terrorism or violent radicalization” had been investigated by prosecutors since the attack on the Promenade des Anglais.

“Denmark’s decision to separate married couples in refugee centres if one party is below the age of 18 has been reversed after the government concluded it was in violation of international conventions.
Metroxpress reported on Wednesday that the Danish Immigration Service will now reunite several married couples who have been living separately since February.
“In some of these cases it has been it has been assessed that it would not be compatible with Denmark’s international obligations to maintain the separate living quarters, thus these couple have been offered to be housed together,” DIS wrote in an official response to a parliamentary enquiry.
Specifically, the agency concluded that the separate living quarters would violate the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which guarantees the right to one’s “private and family life”.
Josephine Fock, an MP for The Alternative who raised the issue with DIS, cheered the reversal.
“It is completely outrageous. We are talking about people who have fled to Denmark who are being split from each other. Some of them have children together and investigating individual [asylum] cases takes an unbelievably long time,” Fock told Metroxpress…”

“A man was seriously injured after being hit by a tram during a mass brawl between a group of Chechens and Turks in Vienna’s Favoriten district on Tuesday evening.
Local media reports that the fight erupted after a Chechen man asked a group of around 15 Turkish men to be quiet. The men were socialising at an Internet cafe near to Knöllgasse and Quellenstraße, in the 10th district.
The fight quickly moved outside to the street. At least 20 people were involved in the brawl and one Chechen man was reportedly armed with a knife.
In the course of the fight a Serbian man fell into the path of an oncoming tram, badly injuring both of his legs.

“(ANSAmed) – BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 28 – European Union member states that don’t accept migrant relocations could face infractions, said European Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos on Wednesday.
“We’re here to convince. The majority of member states relocate and some are doing it in a substantial way. If the political will shown in September continues, relocations will improve,” he said.
He said that EU member states are required to accept migrant relocations.
“EU law isn’t optional: what member states decided on together must be applied”.
Avramopoulos praised Germany on relocation for “welcoming 500 people a month”.
“Belgium is also praise-worthy for having committed to 100 a month,” he said.
“It’s a policy that works. States commit themselves”.
September was a record month for migrant relocations from Greece, with more than 1,000 relocated out of a monthly total of 1,202 migrants reported for both of the beneficiary countries, Italy and Greece, according to a report by the European Commission released Wednesday.
Since the time of the EU decisionßin July 2015 to relocate 160,000 migrants by September 2017, a total of 5,651 refugees have been transferred out of the two countries: 4,455 from Greece and 1,196 from Italy.
Countries that have made the most efforts towards Italy are: Finland (260), France (231), Portugal (183), The Netherlands (178) and Switzerland (112).
EU member states including Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, and Slovakia haven’t taken any refugees from Italy.
Other countries have taken less than 30 refugees each: Germany (20), Luxembourg (20), and Belgium (29).
Since the July 2015 agreement, a total of 10,695 people have been resettled from refugee camps, out of the 22,504 initially agreed upon.

The Democrats like to claim that their hacking woes are because of super-sophisticated Russian hackers, but this latest reported hacking attempt punctuates a series of hacks that makes one easily wonder if the common denominator is the Democrats and their issues with cyber security.
The Washington Times reported:
Interim Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile discussed the latest hacking attempt with CNN: “Our struggle with the Russian hackers that we announced in June is ongoing — as we knew it would be — and we are choosing not to provide general updates unless personal data or other sensitive information has been accessed or stolen.”
FBI Director James Comey spoke about potential hacking attempts during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday.

After completing the tender process for a 200-kilometer-long section of the to-be built wall and preparing works for the remaining section, TOK? was expecting to finish the “security wall” in five months, its head, Ergün Turan, said. The wall is expected to block uncontrolled human passage across the border.
“As far as our national security is concerned, the increase of border security with Syria carries huge importance. With the completion of the wall, our border will become more secure,” said Turan, adding that the concrete blocks would cover the entire border with their two-meter-wide and three-meter-high dimensions.
