“A new rape scandal is brewing in Germany after 40-year-old man from Eritrea with official refugee status was arrested as he was sexually assaulting an elderly woman at a cemetery in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The disturbing attack took place in the western German town of Iddenbueren on Sunday.
A local resident alerted the police after he heard a cry for help coming from the cemetery.
The victim, a 79-year-old boarder of a nursing home, was provided first aid before being transferred to a medical facility for treatment. She was released from the hospital on Tuesday.
The pensioner is known to visit the cemetery fairly regularly to mourn her long-dead sister, Bild reported.
The alleged perpetrator, who has been living in Germany since 2013, was charged with rape by the prosecution and placed into custody for the course of the investigation, the prosecutor’s office of Munster and police for the district of Steinfurt, where the town is located, said in a joint statement.
Before being arrested, the suspect was staying at a refugee shelter in the nearby town of Horstel. The assailant did not resist the police as they arrived at the scene early on Sunday morning. He faces up to 15 years behind bars if found guilty…”

The NSPCC said it had received a number of calls from adults concerned about extremism.
Its advisers have now been primed to spot the warning signs if a youngster is at risk.
Chief executive Peter Wanless said: “The fact that a young person might hold extreme or radical views is not a safeguarding issue in itself. But when young people are groomed for extremist purposes and encouraged to commit acts that could hurt themselves or others, then it becomes abuse.
“That’s why we’ve trained our counsellors to cope with this fresh danger to young people.”
The charity said its free, 24-hour service is the first national support for parents who either fear their children are being radicalised, or are worried about the impact of international terrorist atrocities.
Warning signs include the youngster isolating themselves, talking as if from a script, having outbursts of anger, being disrespectful and asking inappropriate questions.
Mr Wanless added: “We have seen a wave of terrorist attacks in recent weeks and months and both parents and children tell us how frightened they are by what is happening.

Julian Assange: ‘A lot more material’ coming on US elections
(CNN)Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Tuesday his whistleblowing website might release “a lot more material” relevant to the US electoral campaign.
Assange was speaking in a CNN interview following the release of nearly 20,000 emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee by suspected Russian hackers.
However, Assange refused to confirm or deny a Russian origin for the mass email leak, saying Wikileaks tries to create ambiguity to protect all its sources.
“Perhaps one day the source or sources will step forward and that might be an interesting moment some people may have egg on their faces. But to exclude certain actors is to make it easier to find out who our sources are,” Assange told CNN.
The Kremlin has rejected allegations its behind the hacking, calling suggestions it ordered the release of the emails to influence US politics the “usual fun and games” of the US election campaigns.

Police last night warned Britain’s Christians to be on alert amid fears they could be targeted by ISIS jihadists.
Security was increased at the country’s 47,000 churches after an 84-year-old priest was beheaded by Muslim fanatics in France.
The killing in Normandy was the first known attack claimed by ISIS inside a church in the West after compiling a hitlist of places of Christian worship.
It comes as ISIS warned that London and Washington DC are next on the list of target cities, with images threatening major world capitals being posted online.

Unfortunately for Gloria Mantas, she became the victim of a flash mob robbery over the weekend.
Mantas was working at her convenience store gas station on Washington Street early Sunday morning when about 25 teenagers suddenly came in at once just after midnight.
They started grabbing drinks, candy, ice cream and anything they could get their hands on. Then, in less than a minute, they all left at once – without paying for anything.

WASHINGTON — Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Amazon head Jeff Bezos and former Obama administration official Cass Sunstein are among the newest names to join Defense Secretary Ash Carter’s new Defense Innovation Advisory Board.
Carter announced those names as part of a list of ten new members for the board, which he created in March to advise the Pentagon on technology innovation issues. The board is headed by Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Alphabet, the Google parent company.

Russia beefs up military on southwestern flank as NATO approaches
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia has strengthened its southwestern flank as NATO builds up its military presence near its borders and next-door Ukraine remains unstable, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday.
Moscow has deployed more air defense systems in the southwest and has also deployed a “self-sufficient” contingent of troops in Crimea, Shoigu told a meeting at the Defence Ministry broadcast on state television.
“Since 2013 … we have formed four divisions, nine brigades and 22 regiments,” he said. “They include two missile brigades armed with Iskander missile complexes, which has allowed to boost fire power to destroy the potential adversary.”

Syria: Wounded are rushed to hospital after bomb blast kills at least 50 people
Wounded people were rushed to a hospital in Qamishli, on Wednesday, after a twin bomb attack struck the predominantly Kurdish city earlier in the day. The attack reportedly killed at least 50 people and wounded scores more.
One blast came from a car bomb, while another was planted on a motorbike.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the explosions targeted a local Kurdish police station and the headquarters of the Kurdish administration for the Hasaka province.
The self-proclaimed Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Guccifer 2.0 releases new DNC docs
Guccifer 2.0, the hacker who breached the Democratic National Committee, has released a cache of purported DNC documents to The Hill in an effort to refocus attention on the hack.
The documents include more than 11,000 names matched with some identifying information, files related to two controversial donors and a research file on Sarah Palin.
“The press [is] gradually forget[ing] about me, [W]ikileaks is playing for time and [I] have some more docs,” he said in electronic chat explaining his rationale.
The documents provide some insight into how the DNC handled high-profile donation scandals. But the choice of documents revealed to The Hill also provides insight into the enigmatic Guccifer 2.0.
The hacker provided a series of spreadsheets related to Norman Hsu, a Democratic donor jailed in 2009 for running a Ponzi scheme and arranging illegal campaign contributions. The DNC responded by assembling files to gauge the exposure from Hsu to its slate of candidates.
Similar files on Paul J. Magliocchetti, a lobbyist closely associated with the late Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), provide a quick reference document outlining Magliocchetti’s donations to Republicans. Magliocchetti pleaded guilty in 2010 to involvement in a pay-for-play campaign finance scheme.
Guccifer 2.0 has claimed to be a Romanian hacker with no strong political leanings. Guccifer 2.0’s choice to release documents from Magliocchetti and Hsu, whose cases are now six and seven years old, shows a detailed knowledge of American politics seemingly at odds with the backstory provided by the hacker.
Experts have questioned whether Guccifer 2.0 is Romanian or even a single person. Tools used in the attack were matched to Russian intelligence agencies and, when tested, Guccifer 2.0 has struggled to speak in Romanian.
A popular theory explaining the attack is that the DNC hack is a Russian attempt to embarrass the DNC and influence the election. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has speculated that the hack was actually a false flag operation performed by the DNC to cast aspersions on his campaign.
Guccifer 2.0 was an unknown quantity until after the DNC announced it had been breached. He has since leaked a variety of documents, including counter-Trump strategies and donor databases.
The Guccifer 2.0 name, the hacker has said, is an homage to Marcel Laz?r Lehel, who called himself Guccifer. Lehel broke into the email accounts of former President George W. Bush’s aides and family, Clinton family confidant Sidney Blumenthal and “Sex in the City” author Candace Bushnell. Lehel, now imprisoned, recently claimed he had also hacked Hillary Clinton’s private email server. FBI Director James Comey later testified before Congress that Lehel later admitted he lied when he said he hacked the former secretary of State’s server.
The files provided by Guccifer 2.0 to The Hill includes a folder with a list of objectionable quotes from Palin and an archive of the former Alaska governor’s Twitter account assembled in 2011 — before Palin decided against running for president.
Other documents contain internal fundraising goals for different donors and bundlers in 2005 and a 10,000-name email database that, based on the prevalence of Hotmail accounts and lack of Gmail references, appears to be from around the same time. Separate files contain as many as 1,500 names pared with contact information from 2005 and 2006 fundraising events.
“Our experts are confident in their assessment that the Russian government hackers were the actors responsible for the breach detected in April, and we believe that the subsequent release and the claims around it may be a part of a disinformation campaign by the Russians,” a senior DNC official said in a written statement.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe urged the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign to get ahead of any potentially damaging emails that WikiLeaks’ founder has vowed to make public.
McAuliffe, a former DNC chairman and a longtime friend and fundraiser for former President Bill Clinton and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, told the audience at a McClatchy’s America breakfast at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday that if he were still running the committee, he and his staff would be examining emails to get ahead of any damaging messages.
“What I would do if I were chair of the party – and I assume they’ve started the process – I hope they’re going through every email they have. . . . Get on top of it. Let’s go back and look at it. And if there are a lot of emails that are inappropriate, start the process of firing people immediately, rebuilding the party.”
However, Clinton campaign Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri told the McClatchy’s America breakfast Wednesday that the former secretary of state’s camp hasn’t asked to see the DNC emails and isn’t likely to do so.
“They are not ours, it’s theirs,” Palmieri said. “It’s another institution’s.”
Palmieri said that “as comfortable as it may be to know” what’s in the other emails it wouldn’t be appropriate to ask the DNC to allow them to go through all of their emails.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has told CNN that a “lot more material” related to the upcoming presidential election be will released following the 20,000-message batch that threw the convention in Philadelphia into disarray.
President Barack Obama has said Russia is the likely culprit in the DNC leak and that the FBI is investigating.
Several of the emails already leaked complained about Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination. One urged that the Jewish independent lawmaker from Vermont be pressed on his faith.
The emails reaffirmed the beliefs of many Sanders backers that former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the committee had rigged the campaign system against Sanders to benefit Clinton.
Rep. Wasserman Schultz, of Florida, resigned the chairmanship shortly before the convention opened Monday.
“You’ve got to run a level playing field,” McAuliffe said. “It’s not fair what they wrote about Sen. Sanders; it’s outrageous. If I had been there and seen somebody on my staff write that against Al Sharpton or (Howard) Dean or John Kerry or all the folks who ran when I was there, I would have fired them on the spot. You just can’t do that; you’re neutral.”
McAuliffe said he’d commiserated with Wasserman Schultz over drinks shortly after she quit, thanking her for her service with the committee.
“I don’t kick people when (they’re) down,” he said. “I felt bad for her. She did the right thing: She should have resigned. She paid the price.”
McAuliffe is paying a price of sorts in Philadelphia over comments he made that Clinton would reverse course on her opposition to the Trans-Pacific Partnership if she were elected president.
Completed by the Obama administration in October, the partnership forges economic ties with 11 Pacific Rim nations including Japan, Australia and Vietnam.
Clinton’s campaign has been pushing back against McAuliffe’s comments. Palmieri said Clinton “opposes it yesterday, she opposes it today” and she’ll oppose it as president.
McAuliffe, at the McClatchy breakfast, acknowledged that he and Clinton disagree on the trade agreement.
“She’s against it. I’m for it,” he said. “She will not change on TPP but the point is can we get a trade deal that Hillary would negotiate where it’s higher wages, income up, worker protections, that would create more jobs and protect national security. Hillary would be for that; that’s my point. She can’t get there, probably, on TPP, that doesn’t mean she’s against all trade deals.”
McAuliffe is the rare politician who will support both Clinton and Trump. He’s a strong backer of the former secretary of state but he’s also a proud pitchman for Trump Wines, made from grapes grown in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I can see where Russia would want to know what is going on in the DNC because it is important for them to know who is going to be the next President so they can decide what changes to make in their actions. What I have trouble seeing is the FSB (or what ever the current name for their foreign intelligence service is) being this clumsy. Whoever did the hank did everything but leave a letter signed by Putin. While this could be a double bluff it seems awful ham handed for the normally professional Russian Intelligence units.

Germany: 15-year-old suspected of planning rampage arrested
German authorities say they’ve arrested a 15-year-old boy whom they suspect of having planned a rampage and also believe was in contact with a teenager who killed nine people in Munich last week.
Prosecutors and police in Ludwigsburg say the boy was arrested Monday night and sent to a psychiatric facility. A witness said he came across an online chat between the suspect and the Munich shooter, who killed himself amid his July 22 attack.
Officials say there’s no suspicion the 15-year-old knew of plans for the Munich attack.
Authorities say the 15-year-old published photos pointing to a possible rampage. They also found bullets, knives, escape plans for his school, chemicals and bomb-making instructions at his home.

15-year-old boy arrested as police FOIL terror attack in Stuttgart
A 15-year-old by has been arrested on suspicion of planning a terror attack near Stuttgart, Germany after police discovered he had been in contact with the Munich shooter.
Police arrested the teenager after finding bullets, knives and explosive materials at his flat.
A high number of small caliber bullets, several knives and daggers were found at the property in the Ludwigsburg district.
He had also published pictures and drawings online that indicated a possible attack, police said.
The 15-year-old was said to be in contact with the Munich shooter and the pair had spoken online.
Investigators also found escape plans of the school he attended and chemicals, materials and instructions for making explosives.
They found out about the boy from a whistleblower who came across a contact of the teenager “whilst doing independent research on the massacre in Munich”.
The boy is being held in an adolescent psychiatry ward.
During his interrogation the youth admitted to have studied “committing an killing spree due to personal and school problems”.
Officers say he has now distanced himself from the plans.

A political discussion at a bar in Cleveland ended with a Vietnam vet being shot in the leg because of his support for Donald Trump.
60-year-old Paul Jones, Jr. was having a conversation with a friend at Winston’s Place near E. 131st Street and Miles Avenue on Monday evening.
A man sitting nearby overheard the chat and immediately became aggressive.
“He butted in the conversation,” Jones told WEWS from his hospital bed. “The conversation wasn’t directed at him or to him.”
The man continued to get more irate, going to his car to retrieve a gun before he returned and shot Jones in the thigh.
The shooter fled the scene and detectives are still searching for him.
“I’m quite sure you have a lot of people having their own opinions. But that doesn’t mean you should hurt somebody because you have your own opinion,” said Jones’ mother Latosca.

The executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on Americans to cease calling terrorists “jihadists.”
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has a history of Islamist extremism including links to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. The U.S. Justice Department labeled CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a Hamas-financing trial and listed CAIR as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.
In addition, CAIR was officially designated a terrorist organization on by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on November 15, 2014.
Following the terrorist atrocity in Nice on Bastille Day (July 14) in which 84 people were killed by a man whom ISIS claimed as one of its soldiers, CAIR’s executive Director Nihad Awad sent out a tweet saying:

The first line is unobjectionable in and of itself. But the hashtag he used, trying to argue that terrorism has nothing to do with an ideology of jihad, is very revealing.
Awad seems to want to separate the ideology of jihad, which is used by many groups to justify violence in their attempt to impose Islamist theocracy, from terrorist acts. This looks like an attempt to whitewash the ideology driving terrorism.

Because of the traditions and the laws that prevent sexual relations outside of the framework of marriage, some Egyptian women have sex secretly and some become pregnant.
The solution can be either an abortion or keeping the child and becoming a mother out of wedlock. However, because abortion is illegal in Egypt, doctors who perform the procedure can face between three and 15 years in prison.
However, for a large sum of money — or worse — a woman can find a doctor who will perform an abortion in secret. It goes without saying that those abortions are oftentimes carried out in primitive and unsanitary conditions.

Armed police officers have launched a raid on a mosque and several homes belonging to a group believed to be radicalising Muslims in Germany.
Apartments belonging to eight board members of the radical German-speaking Islamic group DIK were searched by officers in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony.
It comes as part of a crackdown on the group, which is thought to have been encouraging people to travel to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS.
The group ran sermons, seminars and lectures entitled ‘the hatred of infidels’, according to German media.
The raid on Wednesday night involved up to 400 volunteer staff, as well as a special police task force.
‘The DIK in Hildesheim is a nationwide hot spot of radical Muslims that we have been watching for a long time,’ said Lower Saxony Interior Minister Boris Pistorius.
‘After months of preparation, we have taken an important step to end the association.’

BERLIN — Authorities in northern Germany say police have raided a mosque believed to be a “hot spot” for Islamic extremists in the city of Hildesheim.
The interior ministry of Lower Saxony state said that the apartments of eight leading members of the “German-speaking Islam Circle Hildesheim” organization were also searched Wednesday, news agency dpa reported.
The state’s interior minister, Boris Pistorius, said that “after months of preparation we have taken an important step with the searches conducted today toward a ban on the group.”
Authorities suspect that Muslims were radicalized in the organization and motivated to take part in jihad. Pistorius said there had been calls for “hatred toward infidels” in sermons and seminars.

New Website Lets Whites Give Reparations to Blacks
In one of the most embarrassing examples of leftist regression that we’ve seen in some time, Seattle artist Natasha Marin has started a website so that white people can pay “reparations” to people of color. While many leftists support the idea of slavery reparations through the federal government, Marin proposes that white people should simply give of their personal time and money to wash away all of that guilt they must be feeling for the sins of their ancestors.
Or, to put it the way Marin puts it on her website, white people can use this program to “extricate themselves from the guilt they are mired in.”
She warns, however, that even the most generous donations will “in no way pardon years of systemic abuse,” so if you were hoping to atone for Evil White America by giving a black kid a couple of bucks, that’s apparently not in the cards.

More specifically, Johnson was an Angolan who himself had been an indentured servant in the colony of Virginia before he became a tobacco planter himself. One of the African indentured servants who worked Johnson’s 300 acre plot of land was John Casor.

A GERMAN shopping centre has been evacuated tonight after a teenager with “links to terrorists” was spotted acting suspiciously.

A Syrian who blew himself up outside a German music festival at the weekend was interviewed twice by Bulgarian television while living there in 2013, footage showed on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group in a video found on his phone, entered Bulgaria illegally from Turkey in July 2013 and stayed until mid-2014, the interior ministry in Sofia announced Wednesday.
“Over this period he had not attracted police attention with any anti-social activities,” Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry Chief of Staff Georgy Kostov said in a statement.
Germany had rejected the man’s asylum claim and he was facing imminent deportation back to Bulgaria when he carried out the attack on Sunday in the southern city of Ansbach.
Police said the Syrian man intended to target the open-air festival attended by 2,500 people but was turned away as he did not have a ticket, and detonated his rucksack bomb outside a nearby cafe, injuring 15.
Bulgaria’s public BNT channel interviewed the man twice at a Sofia refugee shelter in September and November 2013, and broadcast the footage again on Wednesday.
It showed a gaunt, long-haired man in a red checked shirt who pulled up the leg of his jeans to show what he said were shrapnel scars on his legs.
He told BNT he had been a maths teacher in Aleppo but lost his family and paid a human trafficker to smuggle him from Turkey to Bulgaria in the hope of ultimately reaching Germany, Austria or a Scandinavian country.
In a second interview he complained that fraudsters had taken his money to find him a place to stay outside the shelter but tricked him and left him on the street, relying on other refugees for food.
BNT journalist Teodora Asenova, who interviewed the Syrian, described him as “rather quiet, reserved, even shy.”
“You could see in his eyes that he was a person who had nothing to lose but he was not aggressive,” Asenova told BNT on Wednesday.
She recalled him saying he “did not approve of violence and did not divide people by their faith or religion” but she also said he was “naive and could have been manipulated.”
After the attack the jihadist-linked Amaq news agency said the attacker “was a soldier of the Islamic State” who had acted “in response to calls to target nations in the coalition fighting” IS.
Bulgarian authorities said they saw no indication that he was radicalised.
The man was granted “humanitarian protection” in December 2013, Bulgaria’s State Refugee Agency chairwoman Petya Parvanova said Wednesday.
Unlike refugee status, humanitarian protection does not give the right to travel freely without a visa and Parvanova did not say how the attacker was able to leave Bulgaria.

“A board reviewing the status of Guantanamo Bay prisoners has decided against releasing a Saudi allegedly chosen to be a hijacker in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack.
Lawyers for Mohammad al-Qahtani last month asked the Periodic Review Board to return him to Saudi Arabia for treatment for severe mental illness.
The board denied that request in a statement released Wednesday. Among the reasons cited was his refusal to answer questions about his alleged role in al-Qaida.
Officials believe al-Qahtani was going to be the 20th hijackers but was denied entry into the U.S. by an immigration inspector at the Orlando, Florida, airport. He was later captured and taken to the U.S. base in Cuba. Charges against him were dropped after a Pentagon legal official concluded he had been tortured.”
