NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2016 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand sixteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and fortieth.
(It is good to be reminded from time to time that not all people who are on side about the migration and Islam crisis in Europe are friends. It is also good to be reminded that The Golden Dawn, Greece’s genuinely Nazi party, are remaining true to their National Socialist roots. Just in case anyone was softening on them based on the things they do we agree with. Such as commemorating the rape and destruction of Constantinople at the same time the Turks did, except as the victims of it)
ATHENS — Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos called on the Justice Ministry to take action against a neo-Nazi lawmaker after he made anti-Israel comments in parliament.
Speaking during a debate in parliament on Monday, Christos Pappas, from the Golden Dawn party, called Israel an “eternal enemy of Greece and Orthodoxy.”
Pappas was speaking during a debate on the ratification of Greece’s international agreements with other countries.
“The state of Israel implements genocidal methods and is a regional troublemaker,” he said, according to the Kathemirini newspaper, asking how “a state like Israel could possibly have relations with Greece, which is the cradle of civilization and humanism.”
Russia demands that Turkey withdraw its troops from Iraq, the RIA news agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying on May 31.
“This [keeping troops in Iraq] is an absolutely unacceptable position,” it cited Lavrov as saying.
“In principle, I believe that what the Turks are doing deserves far greater public attention on the part of our Western partners.”
5. Turks say references to Armenian genocide may “damage Turkish-German relations”
(CAUTION: Its a Euronews clip. So at some point original footage has to be found and then compared to their ‘interpretation’ of the event. More news on this issue here)
7. Did the Obama admin destroy evidence in the Sheik Mohamed trial? Rephrased, the Obama admin destroyed evidence in the trial. But what evidence and why?
“First they tell us they will not show us the evidence, but they will show our lawyers. Now, they don’t even show the lawyers. Why don’t they just kill us?” Mohammed, who faces execution, is quoted as saying in the filing.
Mohammed’s attorneys argue that the secret maneuvering left them unable to challenge the destruction of evidence. They contend that the case ought to be scrapped entirely. Their brief quotes a famous 1932 supreme court case, Powell v Alabama, to argue that failing to provide the defense access to evidence “would be little short of judicial murder”.
“Whatever legitimate national security interests might purportedly justify the near-Star Chamber proceedings that have riven this case, there can be no articulable excuse for so clearly misleading Mr. Mohammed’s counsel and preventing them from seeking remedies to prevent the destruction of crucial evidence,” they continued.
(Whatever else this means, it shows that our contention that military issues must not be treated as law and order ones is correct. In other words, I agree with the Sheik in paragraph 1)
Emmanuel was lynched on Sunday, May 29, 2016 by a Muslim crowd and the religious riots spread to other parts of the city. Nigerian soldiers and other security agencies moved in to prevent the riots from spreading and imposed a curfew on the town.
A search on Facebook reveals the only one Methodus Chimaije Emmanuel to be a dormant account, however. Nobody has presented the alleged offending Facebook comment or revealed its contents.
Monday morning, however, renewed violence broke and three more people were killed by the Muslim mob, including a security personnel. Also, a church, one house and a shop were burnt while 25 other shops were looted.
Initial reports on social media say that Nigerian soldiers joined in the rioting and were aiding the Muslim mob in attacking Igbos and Christians. But the army spokesman, Colonel Usman Sani told The Trent that the reports are not true.
This fellow, discussed in this video, is a data point for the collapse of the Enlightenment, whatever else one may feel abou his beliefs.
One would hope that with maturity, his treatment of Christianity would become annealed, especially with growing knowledge of Islam and its history. But that is a secondary point. He must be allowed to say these things.
Its also stunning that governments have not learned from the lessons of Canada, professional Jews and Ernst Zundel who was made famous by persecuting him because he had a stupid and crazy antisemitic message on an answering machine.
That kind of persecution pretty much always results in the Streisand effect.
I know I posted this before, but one has to wonder, if he had also tossed a bag of potatoes along with the pork sausages, why can he not get a grant as a food bank? It is the same kind of morally relativistic thinking that is determining our jurisprudence these days after all.
Here is a story about an odd attack against the new-normal, left wing extremists who would ban meat and all the usual stuff we see these days, which acts on a healthy culture like Coca Cola on a set of old teeth.
I did think wearing necklaces of sausages is a funny use for links in a protest even if it is a waste of food. But it would be nice if these vegan leftists who want a certain lifestyle just started their own community on uninhabited land and lived the way they want. But as their objective is to ruin things for everyone else, one can understand why they do not.
