1. Pro migrant demo in Greece uses the classic sophistry as an attempt to destroy classical Europe
According to the United Nations, the most evil country in the world today is Israel.
On March 24, 2016, the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) wrapped up its annual meeting in New York by condemning only one country for violating women’s rights anywhere on the planet – Israel, for violating the rights of Palestinian women.
On the same day, the U.N. Human Rights Council concluded its month-long session in Geneva by condemning Israel five times more than any other of the 192 UN member states.
The incident sparked a major manhunt as Portsmouth’s most senior officer, Supt Will Schofield vowed to catch those responsible
(A major manhunt. For what is tantamount to offensive littering. One wonders why there is no major manhunt for the men who raped British children held as slaves by Muslim sex gangs. Or a major manhunt for the preachers that demand a genocide of homosexuals and Jews in the mosques every day)
RABAT – A Moroccan homosexual man was sentenced to two months in prison by a court in the central city of Beni Mellal, in accordance with article 489 of the Moroccan constitution, which criminalizes homosexuality.
A spokesman for the Moroccan Association for Human Rights in Beni Mellal told EFE that the homosexual convict was beaten and was forced to strip naked last March 9.
The human rights activist said that the trial started last March 15, however, the case did not gain attention until the circulation of a video clip showing two young men getting beaten up and forced to go naked into the streets as they received insults from the crowd.
None of the attackers were prosecuted, while one of the men was arrested by the police, and was later sentenced to two months in prison and obliged to pay a fine of 45 euros ($50), while the other managed to escape.
(Good thing he didn’t place a pig’s head near Muslims)
5. VICE News video on how Muslims are raising small children to be killers.
(NOTE: This is a VICE video. They consistently translate Allah as God. This is a deliberate attempt to create a false moral equivalence between Muslims and other religious groups who follow a God with a fundamentally different set of attributes. Commenters will no doubt also expose other classic rhetorical tricks in this video detracting from the facts and applying a vastly different standard to Muslims than they would to any other group doing identical things.)
6. ‘Refugees in Greece show their gratitude for being fed and housed and protected from certain death (which is what allows them to be called refugees) by fighting with local police.
7. A group of refugees tried to dismantle tents which were blocking railway tracks at the Idomeni refugee camp on Tuesday. However, the group encountered resistance from another group of refugees who were protesting on the railway tracks at the Greek/Macedonian border camp.
(So some of them are at least not total a**holes then. Good)
A prominent anti-discrimination organization in the US has demanded that the FBI cancel the launch of a new counter-extremism program.
“The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee demands that the FBI cancel the launch of its controversial ‘Shared Responsibility Committee’ program,” the group said in a statement. “Since learning about the program last fall, ADC has frequently expressed serious concerns about the initiative, which is part of the government’s Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) program.”
The new program works as follows, according to the ADC.
When an individual is suspected of becoming radicalized and that information is sent to the authorities, the FBI will open an investigation.
They then refer the individual to a “Shared Responsibility Committee” which will typically consist of:
- a religious leader
- a mental health worker
- community advocate
(That doesn’t sound expensive or impossible at all)
Thank you M., Richard, Wrath of Khan, Kathy, and lots of people who have sent in materials today.
Unfortunatly I got the Daily Links post up quite late but hopefully more will come in over the day and there are more translations to come of Orban’s March 15th speech. Today will be Danish. Hopefully the Dane’s will spread it around.
There is an echo chamber around the alleged crucifixion of a Catholic Priest by the Islamic State. Nearly all of it is from one source. It is true that the IS killed a number of nuns and who knows what else to them and more horrors. It is not beneath them to crucify a priest. It is entirely likely that they do this as they have crucified many many people even if they call themselves Al Nusra front or Al Qaeda or The Islamic State.
One can suspect though, that if the IS is consistent in how they do horror, there would be video of the event. As we have seen none or even stills or even blurry stills from one, that its reasonable to assume this crucifixion has not taken place for the moment.
Some of the links:
Yesterday I closed and lost a lot more links after deciding not to post on it as, well the sources didn’t seem that good. Or rather, the sources were good but they elected to run with a story based on the importance of it and therefore it shouldn’t be ignored. If true it is important. If not true its equally important not to report it. It might have happened and is well within the bounds of probability.
But at first glance it looks like an echo chamber. All these people seem to be using the same or a linked speculative source. If the IS did it they would be bragging. That’s how they do.
