Jerusalem Mayor – Armed and Dangerous

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat caused a minor storm yesterday when he was spotted in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, next to Shuafat, armed with what appeared to Israel’s Channel 1 as a mini-assault rifle, which the reporter misidentified as a variation of the Galil. The Arabs have been violently rioting in Beit Hanina and Shuafat.

Channel 1 was very concerned that the mayor was walking around Jerusalem without a proper license for the weapon. It’s still difficult for the average Jerusalem resident (and Israeli) to get a gun license.

In fact, Barkat, who earlier this year caught a terrorist mid-attack in Jerusalem has a proper license for a .40 caliber Glock pistol (personally, I recommend the CZ P-07, but to each their own). He was using it with a RONI carbine conversion kit, which allows quick conversion of a handgun into a carbine rifle (it’s very cool). The conversion kit increases shooter accuracy.

The mayor’s office released a photo of the gun in the RONI, and the mayor’s gun license.

The mayor should know, his gun license expires at the end of the month. It’s renewal time.

    • France is one of the European nations I expect to break up during WWIII, Spain is another.

        • It still amazes me that France is facilitating the emigration of some of the most productive people on the face of the earth while importing illiterate parasites in their place.
I really DO NOT understand it and, France will suffer…
The entirety of Europe will suffer as Jews flee Belgium, Sweden and other European states.

  3. ITALY – PM covers nude statue to spare Sheikh’s blushes

A naked statue in Florence was covered by the Italian premier Matteo Renzi’s team so as not to offend the visiting crown prince of Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose family’s wealth is estimated at €150 billion, arrived in the city on Wednesday morning for a diplomatic visit, during which commercial agreements between the two countries would be finalized, Corriere Fiorentino reported.

Needless to say, the visit had been planned down to the smallest detail by Renzi and his team, with a wind breaker bearing the Fleur de Lis – the iconic lily of Florence – being placed around the American sculptor Jeff Koons’ statue, Gazing Ball.

The statue features a naked man in Greco-Roman style balancing a blue mirrored sphere on his shoulder.

In many Arab cultures, including Abu Dhabi, public nudity is prohibited in any form but it is not known whether the statue was covered due to a specific request by the Sheikh’s team or out of caution by the premier’s staff.

This is not the first time Renzi has chosen to host a diplomatic guest in his native city of Florence over Rome. Renzi met the Abu Dhabi prince in the city’s town hall, Palazzo Vecchio – home to Italy’s most famous nude sculpture, Michelangelo’s David, which remained uncovered throughout.

While he may not quite have the same level of fame as Michelangelo, Koons did break the record for the world’s most expensive piece of art by a living artist in 2013, when his famous Baloon Dog sculpture sold for €52 million.

In the past his work has often featured strong Roman influences. The artist himself was married to Italo-Hungarian porn star Cicciolina from 1991 to 1994.

  5. BREITBART – Report: Saudi Arabia Allegedly Beheads 28 for Hajj Stampede

The Saudi government allegedly beheaded the 28 people found responsible for the deadly stampede during the hajj pilgrimage in September.

Lebanese media outlet Beirut Daily al-Diyar reported a Saudi official announced the beheadings “due to failure to control the pilgrimage.” The King allegedly said these 28 people “did not follow the instructions,” which is “a great disservice to Saudi Arabia.”

“This religious decree will be issued immediately in Mina tomorrow; they will be charged with violating security issues and disobeying orders which claimed the lives of more than 1000 pilgrims and brought disrepute for Saudi authorities,” stated the report.

Some feel Saudi Arabia is only trying to save face by using “criminals who are already imprisoned.” If they are non-criminals, activists believe the men did not receive a proper trial since the report was released only 12 hours after the stampede.

“No one should be punished without enough evidence and court ruling and the right to defend themselves,” declared Muhammad Zakery, the CEO of the FreeMuslim association. “Human life has no value in Saudi Arabia.”

At least 769 people died on September 24. Iranian officials said 464 of their citizens were among the dead. It occurred in Mina, which is near Mecca, when “two large groups of pilgrims converged at right angles on the way to taking part in one of the Hajj’s major rites at the Jamarat pillars.”

Iranian regime President Hassan Rouhani used part of his time at the UN General Assembly to attack Saudi authorities. He claimed the victims “fell victim to the incompetence and mismanagement of those in charge.”

“Public opinion demands that Saudi Arabian officials promptly fulfill their international obligations and grant immediate consular access for the expeditious identification and return of the cherished bodies and remained,” he continued.

Iranian dictator Ali Khamenei also attacked at Saudi Arabia.

“The issue will not be forgotten and the nations will pursue it seriously,” he said. “Instead of accusing this and that, the Saudis should accept responsibility and apologize to the Muslims and victims’ families.”

This is not the first time a deadly stampede transpired during Hajj. A stampede on July 2, 1990, killed 1,426 pilgrims in an “overcrowded pedestrian tunnel leading to holy sites in Mecca.” The majority killed traveled from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan. On January 12, 2006, at least 346 pilgrims died “when pilgrims tripped over luggage that had been dropped amid the crowds of people rushing to carry out the devil-stoning ritual.” That happened only days after 76 pilgrims died “when a hostel in Mecca collapsed in a narrow street.”
