Two Montreal teenagers facing terrorism-related charges appeared in court Wednesday to finalize plans for their preliminary hearing.

Sabrine Djaermane, 19, and El Mahdi Jamali, 18, are facing several charges including attempting to leave Canada to commit a terrorist act abroad, possession of an explosive substance, facilitating a terrorist act and committing an act under the direction of or for the profit of a terrorist organization.

Hungarian police have opened fire with tear gas against 1500 rioting migrants who are attempting to break through the country’s border fence. Migrants have been chanting “Allah hu Akbar” while pelting police officers with missiles including “really big rocks”, bottles, and even food, leading to the crack down. The news follows Hungary’s state of emergency declared yesterday.
