Mass media continues its “moral inversion” for the most part, while past gains against Islamic rule are lost in Afghanistan: Links 1 on May 6 – 2015

1. Megyn Kelly Attempts to use reason on a post modern opponent of free speech

(The Islamic view of Jesus, who they insultingly renamed as “Isa”, was not crucified, was not the son of God, was not anyone special but one of a long line of Islamic prophets. This is about as offensive as one could get about the Christian avatar. Even atheists do not hijack and transform Christian iconography. By Megyn’s guests reasoning, not one single mosque in the world should be allowed to preach as its so offensive to the Christian god, and an attack on mosques by Christians would be justified)

2.  Koh Samui car bomb: seven people hurt on Thai tourist island

The bomb was packed inside a Mazda pick-up truck and exploded late on Friday in the car park of the Central Festival mall on the island while late-night shoppers were inside the building.

Police said the car had been stolen from Yala, one of Thailand’s three southernmost Muslim-majority provinces where a 10-year insurgency has killed more than 6,300 people.

“It’s a car bomb but we cannot confirm what type of explosive materials they used,” said Lieutenant-General Prawut Thavornsiri, spokesman for the Thai national police.

3. French mayor in hot water over ‘counting’ Muslim kids in schools

Robert Menard, the mayor of Beziers, has caused an uproar revealing his administration had compiled a list of school pupils’ names to see how many were Muslim. France’s laws prohibit authorities from keeping statistics on people’s religion or ethnicity.

Appearing on TV show Mots Croisés on Monday night, Menard claimed that Muslim school children amounted to 64.6 percent of the total, and that the administration had arrived at that figure by counting the names of the children class by class.

“Sorry to say this, but the town hall has, class by class, the names of the children. I know I don’t have the right to do it. Sorry to say it, but the first names tell us their religion. To say otherwise is to deny the evidence,” he said on France 2 television.

4. Bangladesh uses ‘sacred Arabic’ to stop peeing in public

The campaign however has sparked a strong rebuke from influential cleric Fariduddin Masud, who said it tarnished the prestige of the Arabic language.

“Nobody has the right to use the language of the Koran for such a campaign,” the cleric said, according to online newsportal Natunbarta.com.

6. Islamic State on Pamela Geller: “We will send all our Lions to achieve her slaughter”

The media continues to excoriate Pamela Geller for daring to “provoke” the poor jihadis, as if the two Muslim gunmen who showed up at our AFDI/Jihad Watch Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest would have become fiercely patriotic stockbrokers if only we hadn’t shown those cartoons. It is therefore clear that if, God forbid, anything does happen to Pamela Geller, the talking heads will look soulfully into the cameras and say, Of course we are shocked…Of course we condemn….but…wellllll…she had it coming…she should have submitted to Sharia blasphemy restrictions like the rest of us…

7. Breitbart: Pamela Geller Calls Out Cowardly Conservatives, Says She’ll Organize Another Free Speech Event in Near Future **FULL IMAGE GALLERY**

(CAUTION: Breitbart’s page these days unleashes chaos of videos and ads which may spontaneously start even after you hit pause or close the volume. Close page as soon as you finish reading it)

Breitbart News: Many in the mainstream media have alleged that you crossed the line when it comes to free speech, and that you are responsible for inciting the terror attacks against your “Draw Muhammad” event. How do you respond to these criticisms?

Pamela Geller: We incited no one. We didn’t call for violence, justify violence, or approve of violence. The people who were inciting were the ones saying that we should be killed for exhibiting Muhammad cartoons. There is no automatic or unavoidable response to being insulted. No one is forced to kill for being insulted. Those who choose to do so are responsible for their actions. No one else is.

8. Group of fascists disrupt a press conference with Marine Le Pen calling her a fascist etc.

(Interestingly, Ms. Le Pen did not go to their events and disrupt them and call them names. Which would have actually made her a fascist in that she would be sending people to deny them their right of freedom of speech rather than debating them. Just by the way)

9. AFGHANISTAN – Thousands flee homes ahead of expected battle near Afghan city

Afghan security forces and Taliban insurgents backed by foreign jihadists on the outskirts of Kunduz have been in a standoff for nearly a week since the militants launched an offensive on the city late last month.

The Taliban push on Kunduz, about 500 km (310 miles) north of Kabul, is the most serious threat to a provincial capital in years, although government forces insist the city will not fall to the insurgents.

The Afghan army and police are fighting without substantial help from foreign troops, after the NATO military mission ended its combat role at the end of 2014.

  1. 1 I have always thought O’Reilly was more politically correct then brave.

The Moslem she is debating is following the standard line of blaming the victims and declaring victimship of their religion.

  2. 8 The left says that everyone that opposes them is fascist, yet they are the ones using fascist tactics and working to further the fascist goal of world domination.

  3. The illness is identified. Let’s move the the conversation over to how to treat it.
Treatment of paranoia is usually via behavior therapy which is aimed at reducing sensitivity to criticism and improving social skills. It can be difficult to treat a person with paranoia as they may be irritable, emotionally guarded, hostile, and unwilling; therefore, progress is slow. Therapy attempts to break the cycle of suspicion and isolation by using relaxation and anxiety management and by aiding the person to change certain behaviors.
