1. David Wood takes us through some MSM deceptions we need to be aware of concerning islam
As the commemorative mass for the 21 Christians beheaded by ISIS in Libya was held on the 40th day after their deaths in the village of Al Our in the Minya region of Upper Egypt this past Friday, a mob identified by witnesses as Muslim Brotherhood protestors attacked the home of one of the martyr’s families, set fire to the car of one of the mourners, and later lobbed molotov cocktails at the site of the church being constructed in their memory. Al Our village was the home of 13 of the Egyptian Coptic martyrs.
In a US television interview, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has said the “Islamic State” (IS) has continued to grow during the last six months, despite US air strikes. The terrorist group has also expanded over land.
In the interview with “60 Minutes,” which aired on CBS news in the United States on Sunday, Assad said the US airstrikes against IS in Syria which began last September sometimes have a local effect.
“But in general, if you want to talk in terms of ISIS, actually ISIS has expanded since the beginning of the strikes,” the president said, using another acronym for IS.
Assad said there were some estimates that Islamic State was attracting 1,000 recruits a month in Syria.
“And Iraq – they are expanding in – in Libya and – many other – al Qaeda affiliate organizations have announced their allegiance to ISIS. So that’s the situation,” Assad added.
4. Hamas as it is today in Gaza:
A Red Cross employee has been killed and another injured in a gun attack by suspected Islamist militants in Mali, the aid organisation says.
Armed men opened fired on an aid vehicle as it travelled from Gao to Niamey in neighbouring Niger to pick up medical supplies.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in a statement that it was “profoundly dismayed” by the killing.
Islamist militant group Mujao told AFP that it had carried out the attack.
The nationality of the ICRC worker who was killed has not yet been released.
“He was driving to collect much-needed medical equipment for a Gao hospital,” said Yasmine Praz Dessimoz, head of operations for North and West Africa.
“His death is not only a tragedy for his family and for the ICRC, it will affect the life and well-being of tens of thousands of people,” she added.
6. BBC report on increased antisemitism in the UK which they managed to do a video and written report on without mentioning islam or muslims once (although there is an en passant reference to generic terrorism) It is as bad as CBC would do in fact.
A secret high-level Metropolitan police report has concluded that Muslim officers are more likely to become corrupt than white officers because of their cultural and family backgrounds.
The document, which has been seen by the Guardian, has caused outrage among ethnic minorities within the force, who have labelled it racist and proof that there is a gulf in understanding between the police force and the wider Muslim community. The document was written as an attempt to investigate why complaints of misconduct and corruption against Asian officers are 10 times higher than against their white colleagues.
VIENNA: A 14-year-old boy, enamoured with the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organisation, has been charged in Austria with forming a terrorist group and downloading bomb-making plans with the intention to commit a terrorist offence, media reported on Monday.
The teenager, referred to as “Merkan G”, is accused by the St Poelten city prosecutor’s office of downloading plans on the internet for the construction of a bomb, which he then planned to detonate at either the Wien Westbahnhof railway station in Vienna, or along the tracks leading to it, Xinhua reported citing the Kronen Zeitung newspaper.
(So what, another 6 years till he is paid to do the US university circuit as a guest lecturer?)
