(I have not watched it yet but Admiral Lyons is always exceptionally lucid. Don C. offers this: “More focused with less joking around than the usual United West format. Admiral Lyons gives a history of missed opportunities since the Iranian Revolution (from around 18:00). Andrew Bostom co-hosts and among much else explains the relevance of najis, things or persons considered ritually unclean in Islamic law.))

9. Iran: Ayatollah Tells Air Force: We Enriched Uranium 20%; Commanders: ‘Death to America, ‘Death to England,’ ‘Death to Israel’

( – In a speech delivered last month to commanders and other personnel in the Iranian Air Force, whom he described as “officials who have very sensitive occupations,” Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—Iran’s Supreme Leader and commander in chief—boasted that Iran had enriched uranium to the 20-percent level.

At the same time, the Supreme Leader noted that his government had agreed to shut down its production of 20-percent enriched uranium “for a while” in its effort to reach a deal with United States and other foreign powers that would include lifting the sanctions now imposed on his country.

Thank you M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Don C., LCC., and many more.

Notice the odd scrambling by CNN and other major networks in North America to put out-of-context reports on what Islam is and is not in order to maintain and preserve the victim narrative. Most conspicuous is the idea that for women, islam is just a matter of pieces of cloth on the head and to know what it is to be muslim is to put a piece of cloth on your head and feel that any opposition towards you is due to people’s irrational hatred of that cloth and so they must be awful, racist people to do that. In fact, the outward symbols of serious adherence to islam today is fully and reasonably comparable to wearing a Nazi outfit or a Mao jacket for those who remember how truly evil that man was. The symbols have more meaning than just bits of coloured cloth and to trivialize it that way is to transform a news agency from what its name implies to a rather evil form of self destructive propaganda. Not to mention destructive to all of us.

This scrambling seems to be the result of more and more stories of mosques and islamic institutions being outed as beachheads and forward stations of a takeover of Western civilization. The disparity grows shrill and the cognitive dissonance from it lessened as it gets more difficult to ignore reality in favour of the narrative. Not that many won’t cling to it. For those that can’t be bothered to take the dive into what is actually and truly in the interests of liberalism, the spell of moral superiority is hard to break and you can hear it with those who cling to the ‘religion of peace’ nonsense as well as the notion that opposition to islam is racism. Yet none of those people will ever debate the facts. Just pre-digested rhetorical devices provided by the Frankfurt School.

The time required to explain it to them grows short however.

  1. @ 4 – This should cause a massive amount of anti-Moslem activity, activity that the LSM will call far right rioting.

    • Who’ll be the first feminist celebrity to volunteer to have her own complete set sliced-off in solidarity with Sisters of the Hijab?

I’m only familiar with a few of the Beautiful People because of their support for Palestinian terrorists freedom fighters.

      • DERBY – UK – Market Place: Two arrested as eggs thrown in Derby city centre

TWO youths have been arrested on Saturday afternoon after they threw eggs at people giving speeches in Derby’s Market Place.

A series of events has been taking place there including stalls and sideshows to celebrate International Women’s Day, which is tomorrow.

And there was also an impromptu march down Iron Gate by Britain First, a far-right British nationalist political party.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said that a police van had been sent to the Market Place after members of the public reported trouble had broken out.

He said: “There were a number of events taking place and speeches being given, as well as a march down Iron Gate.

“Two youths in their late teens were seen throwing eggs and then ran off towards Babington Lane, where officers arrested them.”

It is not clear if those arrested were connected with any of the events taking place.

    • Islamist group claims responsibility for Mali restaurant attack

The Mauritanian news website Al-Akhbar has said the armed Islamist group al-Mourabitoun has claimed responsibility for an attack in Mali’s capital that killed five people.

Alakhbar, which is often sent statements by Islamist militants in Mali, said it had received a video it would post later.

Al-Mourabitoun was formed by veteran jihadist Mokhtar Belmokhtar, who is a target of French forces hunting down al-Qaeda-linked militants in the Sahel-Sahara region.

Militants killed five people in a gun attack on a restaurant in Mali’s capital in the early hours of this morning.

The dead included a French citizen and a Belgian security officer with the EU delegation in the country, authorities said.

Mali’s desert north, where French forces wrested control of territory from separatist rebels and al Qaeda-linked fighters, is plagued by frequent political violence.

However, this is the first militant attack for years in Bamako, in the south.

Three Malians were killed in the violence in and around La Terrasse restaurant, which is popular with expatriates, the government said.

The attack began at around 1am and left nine people wounded, said a senior security official, adding that two people had been arrested.

Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders denounced the killings in what he said was a “cowardly attack” on a Mali nightclub.

French President Francois Hollande also condemned the attack the Elysee palace said in a statement.

      • Islamist group claims responsibility for Mali attack that killed 5

PARIS: The Mauritanian news website Al-Akhbar said the armed Islamist group al-Mourabitoun had claimed responsibility for an attack in Mali’s capital Bamako on Saturday that killed five people.

Alakhbar, which is often sent statements by Islamist militants in Mali, said it had received a video it would post later in the day.

Al-Mourabitoun was formed by veteran jihadist Mokhtar Belmokhtar, who is a target of French forces hunting down al-Qaeda-linked militants in the Sahel-Sahara region.

Militants killed five people including a French citizen and a Belgian security officer before escaping in a gun attack on a restaurant in the early hours of Saturday, authorities said.

Citing the video recording, the website said the attack was in reprisal for the killing by French troops in December of Ahmed al Tilemsi, one of the group’s senior commanders.

Al Tilemsi was a founding member of the Movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa (MUJWA), which merged with fighters loyal to Belmokhtar to form al Mourabitoun in 2013.

MUJWA, Belmokhtar’s men and members of al Qaeda’s north African arm, AQIM, formed a loose alliance of fighters that seized northern Mali’s desert regions in 2012. They have repeatedly said they would strike French targets in the region.

The militants were scattered by a French offensive in January 2013, and France has kept more than 3,000 troops in the region. The French army said on Thursday it had killed four armed terrorists in northern Mali on March 2.

  4. IRAQ – TIKRIT – Joint chiefs chairman optimistic about battle for Tikrit led by Iranian and Iraqi forces

ABOARD A U.S. MILITARY AIRCRAFT – The one-two punch of Iranian-back militias and Iraqi government troops is likely to prevail in the unfolding battle for Tikrit, but it would not have been possible if U.S. airstrikes had not tied down Islamic State fighters elsewhere in northern Iraq, the top U.S. general said.

Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was asked by reporters traveling with him from Washington to Iraq whether he believes the Islamic State group will be pushed out of Tikrit.

“Yeah, I do,” he said. “The numbers are overwhelming.”

Dempsey said about 23,000 Iranian-based Shiite militiamen and Iraqi soldiers are involved in the offensive, compared to only “hundreds” of IS fighters.

[…]But in the Tikrit offensive, which began Monday, the U.S. is on the sidelines. It is watching as Iran asserts influence by providing training, weapons and leadership for Iraqi Shiite militias who are leading the charge on Tikrit.

Dempsey said he sees no evidence that the Iranian military is actually doing any of the fighting. They have improved the Iraqi militias’ fighting capabilities, but their role also has raised worries among America’s coalition allies, who include Gulf Arab nations who despise Iran.
