2. ISIS’ incredible show of force on Europe’s doorstep: Terrorists in Libya who beheaded 21 Egyptian Christians parade their fleet of brand new ‘police cars’ in front of cheering children

Men, women and children cheer and salute the pick-up trucks as they drive freely through what is believed to be the city of Benghazi.

The carefully produced propaganda video was uploaded by terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia on February 5.

The group declared city an ‘Islamic emirate’ in July 2014 before pledging allegiance to Islamic State just three months later. In November of that year, the UN blacklisted it as a terrorist organisation.

The group was widely blamed for the death of US Ambassador Christopher Stephens in Benghazi in 2012. And only this week, it was linked to the bloody executions of 21 Egyptian Christians on a beach in Libya.

Fears of an equally brutal execution were raised following the news that 35 more Egyptians may have been kidnapped by Jihadists in the country.

3. Report: Obama’s New Anti-ISIS Propaganda Head Tied to Muslim Brotherhood

Rashad Hussain, a Muslim American with close ties to the White House, will replace Alberto Fernandez, the center’s director, according to The Times.

Hussain, who has reportedly participated in events linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, currently serves as Obama’s special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He will take over when Fernandez retires in April.

“Hussain, a devout Muslim, has a history of participating in events connected with the Muslim Brotherhood,” reported Cal Thomas in an article published by Townhall.

Citing Egypt’s Rose El-Youssef magazine, The Investigative Project on Terrorism reported that Hussain “maintained close ties with people and groups that [the magazine] says comprise the Muslim Brotherhood network in America.”

4. An unnamed woman arrested for making a threat to Ottawa police which led to the closure of multiple police stations for several hours today.

“The investigation is ongoing, but an arrest has been made,” Sgt. Christina Wolf said Tuesday evening, noting that the arrest was made in the city’s east end.

Earlier in the afternoon police reported that a threat had been made, which prompted the temporary closure of police stations and collision-reporting centres around the city.

“A call came in at 2 p.m. as a threat against one of our buildings,” police department spokesman Const. Marc Soucy said Tuesday afternoon. “The investigation is ongoing and until such time as it’s complete there is no public access to our buildings.”

After receiving a threat around 2 p.m., Ottawa Police closed all their stations to the public, including their headquarters on Elgin St. in Ottawa, Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

7. ‘Islamic extremism’ off limits at White House terrorism summit

(Really. Total flight from reality. “Neurotics build castles in the sky. Psychotics live in them, psychiatrists collect the rent” and Obama and his team are the architects)

WASHINGTON — The White House will kick off a three-day summit Tuesday on combating violent extremism on social media — but the administration won’t focus on Islamic extremism and won’t even mention the term.

“You can call them what you want; we’re calling them terrorists,” a senior Obama administration official said Monday.

The determination not to mention Islam or Muslims comes as ISIS continues its murderous spree in the name of Islam, most recently beheading 21 Egyptian Christians in Libya.

Thank you Shabnam, Don C., UK Pete, M., Yucki, Richard, and all. Quite a list actually today.

  1. 2/ The most alarming thing about that and similar IS videos is that they all manage to discipline themselves to drive in an orderly line without everyone pulling out to try get past everyone else and be first. Self-control that gives them an edge over normal Arabs.

  2. 6/ They are doing something ‘productive and positive with their lives,’ they are helping reestablish the caliphate so that Islam can dominate the world. Then they will come for you, silly cow.

  3. CANADA – Trudeau calls government reasons for appeal of niqab ruling unjustified

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is taking issue with Stephen Harper’s rationale for the decision to defend a federal ban on the wearing of face coverings at citizenship ceremonies.

Earlier this month, a Federal Court judge ruled that a portion of the law requiring would-be citizens to remove their face coverings while taking the oath of citizenship was unlawful.

Asked about the ruling last week, the prime minister denounced the court decision, saying most Canadians consider it offensive for someone to conceal their identity at the moment they are becoming a citizen.

But those in authority must be careful when treading on minority rights, said Trudeau, who said Harper’s reasons for appealing the ruling aren’t good enough.

“Any time a government or a leader is in a position to choose to limit minority rights of any type, there has to be a very good justification — a clear and compelling reason to do so,” Trudeau said.

“The reason the prime minister gave last week for appealing the court’s decision around the niqab was, to my mind, not at all justifying the prime minister’s decision.”

Zunera Ishaq, a Pakistani national, filed suit against the minister of citizenship and immigration, claiming the government’s policy on veils violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada, a Calgary-based Muslim group, has called on the prime minister to reverse his plans to appeal.

The group says the Federal Court’s decision to allow face coverings during citizenship ceremonies is “not an important issue,” but that Harper is making it one unnecessarily.

It points out the identity of someone wearing a niqab during a citizenship ceremony can be verified by a judge before the oath is sworn.

The niqab is worn by some Muslim women in public areas and in front of men who are not relatives.

  4. Quebec leader Francois Legault says mosques should be investigated

MONTREAL – The leader of Coalition for Quebec’s Future said Tuesday all mosques should be investigated prior to being allowed to open in the province.

Francois Legault, head of the third-most popular party in Quebec’s legislature, said a public body should be created to investigate people who potentially disagree with so-called Quebec values.

Legault said the body would be able to find out if “applicants (for mosques) have consistently denigrated Quebec values.”

He said municipal authorities could use information collected by investigators in order to deny permits to people wanting to open mosques in the province.

Legault’s comments were in reaction to news that a Quebec town north of Montreal bowed to citizen pressure and denied a zoning change that would have allowed people to build a mosque.

Due to the absence of provincial regulation on reasonable religious accommodation, Legault said the mayor of Shawinigan, Que., was simply responding to concerns from citizens and doesn’t deserve to be criticized.

“I am not ready to blame a mayor who was faced with the concerns of his citizens and a lack of regulations,” he said. “He took the decision to say: The answer is no.”

Legault has joined with the Opposition Parti Quebecois in calling on the government to create clear rules governing how elected officials should respond to religious accommodation requests in Quebec.

The PQ wants to adopt a secularism charter while Legault called on the Liberals to change Quebec’s charter of rights and freedoms to include what he said were Quebec values, such as the principle of equality of the sexes as well as respect for peoples’ sexual orientation.

Legault says the public investigative body he is proposing will serve as a “guide for municipalities to accept or refuse the occupation of a site of worship or the creation of one.”

Tuesday in Quebec City, Premier Philippe Couillard warned against Legault’s call to amend the province’s charter.

He said his government will propose rules to govern religious accommodation but won’t violate people’s fundamental freedoms.

  5. John Guandolo: The Political Left’s Marriage to the Islamic Jihad

This is the first of a four (4) part series on the long historical relationship between the political left/Progressives and the global Jihadi Movement over the last century and its current culmination in the attempt to bring down Western civilization in general, and the United States specifically.

In this first edition, we will review the general history of the relationship between the Left and the Islamic Jihad movement, and the disconnect from reality that must take place for the Left to believe the leaders of any totalitarian movement will allow them to survive despite a hundred years of history to the contrary.

  6. We need The Left exactly like we need The Right, voices to bring us over to the center, that’s how democracies could pull themselves back from ruin, the public to listen to the riddicule and lampoons as warnings that things were going amiss.

But across the West that became a Hate Crime and the Useful Idiots could remain in power for longer to really mess things up. The Far Left Marxists, Far Right Islamists and Far Sexed are now unassailable to open criticism unless you want to lose your job and got to prison.

So the non-references to the source of Islam’s boot carries their very valid fear of cross-referencing to seeing the socialist glove hiding Communism’s fist, or to the American Psychiatry definition of sexual-identity as a mental illness. So it is not that they can’t diagnose Islamic terrorism, is that they won’t let it enter the state-educated consciousness lest they be hung out by their own petards as traitors.

    • Marie Haff cites poverty as the cause of unrest in ISIS. Apart from this message being no different to a Kremlin informing their Peoples of Harmony and Unity of their recent liberation of a country, the look of the average white female chattering-head that voted Obama, is startling. She is saying exactly what they would say in their ignorant shared-children existence. The White House does not tell you what they think, but repeats what you think.

America has been occupied, but the productive do not yet comprehend the scale and fallout.

        • Her boss, the other one, Jen Psaki, is a just a few years older and an alumnus of the College of William & Mary, which I have had some peripheral but deeply distasteful involvement with over the years and seems to exist now mainly to produce Psakis. 7. FRANCE – Vandals hit 2 more French cemeteries, overturn crucifixes

PARIS (AP) — Dozens of gravesites have been vandalized in a two small-town graveyards in France, a discovery that came the same day five teens faced preliminary charges in massive destruction at a Jewish cemetery in eastern France.

France’s Interior Ministry said crucifixes were overturned and gravesites disturbed in Tracy-sur-Mer, a tiny town next to the D-Day landing beaches, and in Saint-Beat, in southwest France. Swastikas were found in two other widely separated towns, the ministry said Wednesday.

The discoveries came after 250 Jewish graves were desecrated last weekend in the eastern French town of Sarre-Union.

Five local teens faced preliminary charges in the Sarre-Union vandalism. The prosecutor, Philippe Vannier, said the “anti-Semitic motive” was clear and that they all admitted participation.

There have been no arrests in the other cases.

  8. The white house is not “mentally ill”, Americans who voted for the Obamster are.

A nation can have the finest constitution on earth, but the moment you start pandering to illiterate minorities and allow your government, your schools, your media and institutions of higher learning to be taken over by Marxist revolutionaries, anarchists and Muslim rabble, you will end up in deep shiite.

And that’s where the U.S. is going.

    • You are right, most of the people who voted for Obama the first time did it so they could brag that they voted for the first black to make a serious run for the Presidency. Most of the people who voted for Obama the second time were either dead or fakes, all you have to do is look at the precincts in the Northeastern big cities to see how the election was stolen.
