2. The New Yorker: The Blame for the Charlie Hebdo Murders
They are only the latest blows delivered by an ideology that has sought to achieve power through terror for decades. It’s the same ideology that sent Salman Rushdie into hiding for a decade under a death sentence for writing a novel, then killed his Japanese translator and tried to kill his Italian translator and Norwegian publisher. The ideology that murdered three thousand people in the U.S. on September 11, 2001. The one that butchered Theo van Gogh in the streets of Amsterdam, in 2004, for making a film. The one that has brought mass rape and slaughter to the cities and deserts of Syria and Iraq. That massacred a hundred and thirty-two children and thirteen adults in a school in Peshawar last month. That regularly kills so many Nigerians, especially young ones, that hardly anyone pays attention.
3. Nigeria Boko Haram: ‘2,000 feared killed’ after Baga attacked for second time in days
Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram has launched a second attack on the north-eastern town of Baga.
Fighters from the group set fire to huge swathes of the town according to the BBC, who cited a local government official. “It has been burnt down,” Musa Alhaji Buka said.
Bodies littered the streets of the town after the attack amid fears that up to 2,000 people may have been killed, the official told the BBC.
The town was almost completely destroyed, according to reports in local media.

Two Islamist newspapers in Turkey have drawn ire on social media with their headlines that “justified” the deadly attack on a French satirical newspaper.
Hours after gunmen stormed the offices of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris, chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest), Yeni Akit newspaper chose the title, “Attack on the magazine that provoked Muslims.”
Several reader comments also appeared on Yeni Akit’s Facebook page, which hailed the bloodshed as “revenge” for the magazine’s decision to publish cartoons that criticized the Prophet Mohammad.
“I hope they will continue [to kill] infidels,” said one reader on the website, while another reader wrote “Thanks to those who did it.”
The newspaper then changed the headline of the story to “the great provocation in Paris.”
Türkiye, another newspaper close to the Turkish government, chose the headline: “Attack on the magazine that insulted our Prophet.”
After a flood of reactions on Twitter, including ones that accuse it of “justifying a terror attack,” the newspaper changed the headline to “Attack on the magazine that published ugly cartoons of our Prophet.”

“The timing of the attack is interesting. Is it the cost of recognizing Palestine as a state?” the same newspaper asked in the title of another story.
France’s lower house, senators in the upper house of the French parliament, approved a resolution calling on Paris to recognize a Palestinian state last month….”
Maybe it’s time to start believing these extravagant numbers.
France’s Multiculturalist Agenda Makes Jews Pack Their Bags

After all of the Jews have fled , who is next? These inbred mutants will not stop. It’s only a matter of time before the virulent hate is focused on other religious groups.
Next will be the Christians.
Think of the hurt feelings of Muslims first, you nasty, little, racist islamophobes!
Turkish ministers note ‘Islamophobia’ while condemning Paris newspaper attack (hurriyetdailynews, Jan 8, 2015)

“Two Turkish government ministers have condemned the deadly shooting attack on a French satirical newspaper, while also calling on Europe to tackle the rise of Islamophobia.
“Whatever is its reason or target, we are against all kinds of terror,” Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu told journalists on Jan. 7, hours after hooded gunmen stormed the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo in the worst militant attack on French soil in recent decades.
Çavu?o?lu said terrorism is the first of two elements that Europe must fight. The second problem, he said, “is racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia, which is on the rise in many regions of Europe.”
He suggested that terrorism and Islamophobia “affect and trigger each other.”
“People’s freedom of belief should also be respected. It shouldn’t be ridiculed or scorned. Islam is a religion of peace and it is not right to associate it with terrorism,” Çavu?o?lu said.
Earlier in the day, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ömer Çelik condemned the Paris massacre as “an action against all humanity.”
After noting that “it is remarkable that such a professional attack could be conducted in central Paris,” Çelik said “Muslims were also hurt” regarding the cartoons published by Charlie Hebdo that were critical of the Prophet Muhammad.
“But this attack shouldn’t be associated with [the protests]. Muslims condemn this incident. I believe that there is some other motive behind this attack,” he added.”
Pursuing Islamist leanings? That is some news…
Turkey warns its citizens to evacuate Libya ‘immediately’ (hurriyetdailynews, Jan 8, 2015)
http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/turkey-warns-its-citizens-to-evacuate-libya-immediately—–.aspx?PageID=238&NID=76654&NewsCatID=359
“The Turkish Foreign Ministry has warned Turkish citizens in Libya to evacuate the country “immediately” through a statement released late on Jan. 7.
“Because of the conflict and the airstrikes in Libya recently, we are suggesting that our citizens leave the country immediately,” the statement said.
The ministry also said that the Turkish Consulate General in Misrata (+218-51-266-3211) and the ministry’s consular call center (00 90 312- 292 2929) can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week during an emergency.
The Libyan Shield Force, an Islamist rebel militia, has been engaged in fighting with rival militias in Tripoli over control of the Libyan capital’s strategic facilities.
Libya has recently witnessed heavy fighting between a loosely organized national army and militias that have held onto their weapons following a bloody uprising in 2011 that ended the rule of Muammar Gaddafi.
Also on Jan. 7, the Foreign Ministry released a statement saying a threat to shoot down Turkish civilian and military aircraft had been posted on a Facebook page allegedly belonging to the Libyan Air Force.
“This irresponsible statement in contravention of international law is totally unacceptable. We strongly condemn this hostile statement targeting Turkey,” the ministry stated.
Turkey has long had strong links with oil-rich Libya, which has been riven with divisions since the fall of Gaddafi in 2011.
Although many Turks have already heeded previous government warnings and fled the bloodletting sparked by warring factions and an ineffectual central government, others still run restaurants and shops in Libya.
Construction projects worth $19 billion have been mothballed by Turkish firms because of the fighting, according to the Turkey Contractors’ Association.
However, Ankara’s recent role in Libya has stirred ill-feeling in recent months.
The Turkish special representative to Libya became the first envoy publicly to meet with the internationally unrecognized authorities in Tripoli last year, prompting accusations that Ankara is pursuing an Islamist-leaning foreign agenda which has already seen it alienate numerous former allies in the region.”
Russian citizen revealed to be suicide bomber who attacked Istanbul police (hurriyetdailynews, Jan 8, 2015)
http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/russian-citizen-revealed-to-be-suicide-bomber-who-attacked-istanbul-police.aspx?PageID=238&NID=76653&NewsCatID=509
“A female suicide bomber who detonated herself at an Istanbul police station in the touristic area of Sultanahmet has been identified as a Russian citizen named Diana Ramazova.
A policeman, Kenan Kuma?, was killed in the suicide attack by a woman at the Tourism Police Station on Jan. 6.
The investigation was conducted by the police and the National Intelligence Organization (M?T).
It was reported that “foreign phone numbers” were found in the cellphone of the assailant, who spoke Russian with a taxi driver before the attack. The clues reportedly led the police to believe that the woman, who entered Turkey in June 2014 as a tourist, might be Chechen.
After Turkish media reported the identity of the assailant, Kavkazpress, a Russian-language news website, reported that Diana Ramazova was a Russian citizen from the Republic of Daghestan, who was “radicalized by the Wahabi ideology.”
Ramazova was married with children in Istanbul and was pregnant when she was killed by the bomb she carried, Kavkazpress noted, adding that Russian authorities started an investigation in Daghestan following the attack…”
CNN: France tells U.S. Paris suspect trained with al Qaeda in Yemen
Western intelligence officials are scrambling to learn more about possible travel of the two Paris terror attack suspects, brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, with new information suggesting one of the brothers recently spent time in Yemen associating with al Qaeda in that country, U.S. officials briefed on the matter told CNN. Additional information from a French source close to the French security services puts one of the brothers in Syria.
If correct, the travel leads to a mosaic of potential influences that investigators will need to sort through as they seek answers to whether the attack is connected to any specific terror group or whether they were merely influenced to act in the name of a group.
A U.S. official says the United States was given information from the French intelligence agency that Said Kouachi traveled to Yemen as late as 2011 on behalf of the al Qaeda affiliate there. Once in Yemen, the older brother of the two received a variety of weapons training from al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) — the affiliate in Yemen — the official said, including on how to fire weapons. It is also possible Said was trained in bomb making, a common jihadist training in Yemen. Two other U.S. officials confirmed that information about the Yemeni travel was passed to the U.S. from French intelligence agencies.
