Israeli officials expressed anger Friday at the White House’s decision to disclose that Israel carried out the two attacks on targets in Syria Thursday. The attacks in Latakiya and Damascus are believed to have targeted SA-8 missiles that were about to be transferred to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
An Obama administration official confirmed to CNN that the target of the Israeli strike was “missiles and related equipment the Israelis felt might be transferred to Hezbollah.”
According to Channel 2, Israeli officials said the US leak was “incensing and also puzzling.”

Israeli website NRG says that in the event that current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wins the next parliamentary elections in March 2015, he will face the “difficult dilemma” of whether to strike at Iran’s nuclear facilities in June, one month before the next deadline for an agreement.

My guess is that this is just more scare talk but one of these days the scare talk will be real.
#2 I wish an Israeli strike would destroy a lot of material but the facts are that unless Israel has some deep penetration bombs that I don’t know about they don’t have enough planes for the month long 24/7 bombing raids that would be necessary to get some war heads into the Iranian nuclear plants.
Obama wouldn’t send what was requested.
Israel’s resources are stretched awfully thin already.

Police shot and killed a man they say stabbed an Israeli student in the neck at a Jewish center in Brooklyn and then lunged at officers with a knife, according to the NYPD.
The man, 49, went into the Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters in Crown Heights at about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, allegedly yelled that he would kill Jewish people and then attacked Levi Rosenblat, police and a spokesman for the center say.
The suspect, whose identity hasn’t been released was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 3 a.m., police say. Rosenblat, who was studying when he was stabbed, was also taken to the hospital, and was listed in stable condition later Tuesday morning.
