    university/college students are, by tradition, left wing.
    until they graduate and have to earn a wage. they then become capitalist.

    • If only that were more true. It’s been my experience that the left-wing bias of the university tends to stay with its graduates even into old age. That’s what I’ve seen, anyway…

      • Some (those capable of learning to think) change to conservatives others continue to spew out the propaganda they learned.

        • Quite true. But still, some of my most intelligent friends from youth are forever with the left. It’s part of who they are, their social circle, their work environment. They could no more turn into Romney-lovers than they could fly to the moon. They would lose almost everything if they suddenly switched from left to right – literally!

        • The left gained the power they have thanks to the nuclear weapons they hate, if we didn’t have nukes we would have fought the USSR in the mid to late 60s and our troops would have brought home the knowledge of just how evil the left really is. We have the nukes and thus the left can continue spreading their lies.

    • Most of our alleged institutions of ‘higher’ learning are staffed with out of touch professors who kling to the Marxist/leninist thinking, they are in essence Commie factories turning out minions with heads full of socialist/ communist ideals.

    Most people of university age get their news from watching the Jon Stewart show; they consider watching the actual “news” to be something that only old people do – like taking out their teeth at night. Bearing that ugly reality in mind, it is a little easier to grasp that these educated morons actually have no idea who ISIS, or Israel for that matter, even are.

    At least, back in the days of the Soviet Union, the Russian People had some idea that they were being lied to, but they were afraid to say so. These poor students, on the other hand, have no idea what pitiful brainwashed idiots they truly are, as they prance around thinking they’re better than everybody else because they don’t watch Fox News and they, like, really care about the planet.

    • A major part of the problem is that their parents don’t pay attention to the news and what their kids are being taught, they trust the government which is always a path to disaster if you don’t watch the government closely to ensure they aren’t abusing your trust.

    • First, don’t put your kid through the public school system.

      If they’re coming out of public schools, it’s a wonder they can read, spell, and do simple computations. They’ll have such a warped understanding of American history, they may be ruined for life. Vile “health and hygiene” classes you’d pay to avoid.

      Such high school graduates are far too naive, too gullible to be fed to some superannuated hippy professor of ethnic studies.
