The predictable result of ignoring the majority: links post 2 for Nov. 12 – 2014

1. Rome prosecutors probe assault on refugee reception center

(I have been waiting to post on this till some translations are ready but here is some material now on this important issue. It appears Italy as well as Germany is fed up with the calculated destruction of their own cultures and populations by the political classes and Islam)

(ANSA) – Rome, November 12 – Rome prosecutors on Wednesday opened a probe after a violent attack on a migrant reception center in the city’s outlying Torre Sapienza neighborhood late on Tuesday in which two people were injured, including a police officer who was hospitalized with contusions. Some 80 enraged residents set cars and dumpsters on fire and threw stones and flares at police who stood guard throughout the night around the reception center, which houses some 40 underage kids who were rescued at sea by Italy’s Mare Nostrum immigrant search-and-rescue operation.

2. Iran claims it has the US navy in a ‘throttle-hold’ in the Persian Gulf.

(I suppose that could be true in some sense. But as far as I know, one US carrier group is more powerful at projecting force than many if not all 3rd world militaries)

3. Taxi driver ‘abducted drunk schoolteacher and delivered her to uncle and nephew to rape her on park bench’

(Now there is a headline you didn’t used to read ever and is now so common in nature that it barely qualifies as news)

4. Al Nusra front, for all intents and purposes Al-Qaeda/Islamic State, seem to have taken a large amount of territory held up to now by official American ally, the Free Syrian Army.

In this video they are parading their new conquered area.

5. Meaning of the sacks put on US servicemen’s heads in earlier video showing a group of Turkish ultra-nationalists ‘symbolically’ attacking some US servicemen at a Turkish port is explained by this article.

“You declared that you are a member of the US military. Because we define you as murderers, as killers, we want you to get out of our land,” a man can be heard shouting at one of the American sailors, who looks stunned. “We are using our right to protest you,” the protester also shouted, before he and others surrounded the American and tried to put a sack on his head, shouting “Yankee, go home!”

The protest was inspired by the 2003 “hood event,” as it is known by the Turkish public. During a raid by American troops on Turkish Special Forces in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq, 11 Turkish troops were taken hostage and their heads were covered with bags, causing public outrage.

6. White Widow ‘killed by sniper in Ukraine’ World’s most notorious woman terrorist is ‘DEAD’

(The newest candidate for a Schrödinger’s Tard?)

The White Widow has been declared dead, according to reports

Samantha Lewthwaite, 30, was gunned down by a Russian sniper two weeks ago, alleged Regnum news agency in Moscow.

One of Britain’s most wanted people, she was reported last month as fighting for the Islamic State’s terrorists in Syria.

7. Islamic State seems to be deeply involved in creating nuclear power, Pakistan’s next serious political crisis.

8. Apparently, going to England is a right for everyone in the world. Except of course for US radio host, Michael Savage, Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, and everyone else who stands up for British law, culture, history and values. But for everyone else, it is a clear right!

  1. RE ; # 1 The governments in the EU don’t get it. the citizens are mad as hell, and are not going to take it any longer. It’s only going to get worse.

    • Not just the governments in the EU, look at how Obama is ignoring the voters in his push for amnesty and the destruction of the coal industry. I think he wants a civil war that will disrupt the US and allow ISIS and others to win their fights and create a nuclear armed Caliphate.

    • Libya was doing just fine when we decided to go in and topple Muammar Gaddafi and replace him with warring militant Islamic militias, as was Syria for that matter. What’s going on in Libya today was set up on purpose by Barack Hussein Obama, for the purpose of advancing the cause of radical Islam. When are people going to allow themselves to see that Obama is an enemy agent? What’s the matter? Is everybody afraid they’ll be called “crazy” if they allow themselves to see that the Emperor’s new clothes are non-existent and that he is quite simply pulling for the other side? Why do you think he’s losing-on-purpose against ISIS? Why the heck is that?

      • They are afraid they will be called racist as well as crazy, but more are standing up and saying he is working to damage the US and Western Civ, hopefully they are in time to prevent much more damage to civilization.

        • And will remain one for a long time, the damage he is doing will take the rest of this Century to repair if not longer.

        • I doubt it, most of the damage is economic damage that will take time to repair because the repair must be done by individuals starting new companies to provide the services the companies Obama is driving out of business now provide.

  2. Not exactly the latest news…

Afghanistan opium harvest at record high as Nato withdraws (BBC, Nov 12, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-30017898

“Cultivation of opium poppies in Afghanistan has hit new records this year as Nato pulls out combat troops.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) said opium production was up by 17% since last year.

Its Afghan Opium Survey 2014 said the area under poppy cultivation had risen by 7% to cover 224,000 hectares.

UNODC head Yury Fedotov warned there was a serious risk Afghanistan could become a narco-state, following the withdrawal of foreign forces.

Most poppies are still grown in southern Helmand province, where British troops were stationed until October.

The annual survey says the eradication of poppies has decreased by 63%.

Most of the opium poppies are grown in the south and west of Afghanistan, including its most insecure provinces, such as Helmand.

One of the reasons British troops were sent to Helmand was to help cut opium production.

Billions of dollars have been spent trying to eradicate opium poppies in Afghanistan since US-led troops ousted the Taliban in 2001.

In October the US government watchdog for Afghan reconstruction said the US had spent $7.6bn (£4.72bn) over 13 years trying to eradicate the plant.

Despite those efforts the report predicted further increases in cultivation.

The UN valued the Afghan opium crop at nearly $3bn (£1.86bn) in 2013, up 50% from 2012.

Cultivation has been rising yearly since 2010. Afghanistan currently produces more than 80% of the world’s opium.”

  3. Libya bombings: Tobruk and al-Bayda attacked (BBC, Nov 12, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-30018894

“Car bombs have been detonated in two eastern Libyan cities, leaving at least five people dead and many more injured, reports say.

The first attack on a busy road in Tobruk is thought to have killed at least one person, possibly a bomber.

Another four died when a car blew up outside an air base in Al Bayda.

Libya has been in a state of flux since Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown in 2011, with disparate tribes, militias and factions fighting for power.

The Tobruk blast appears to have taken place close to the city’s intelligence headquarters.

Eyewitnesses said at least 21 people were injured. Five cars at the scene were badly damaged….”

  4. …”Schrödinger’s Tard…”

Love it! There are quite a few of them.

And it’s all because they follow an extremely confused belief system – neither here nor there – believing one absurdity one day and then something else the next, always in a state of uncertainty

    • With respect, if you read the Quran you might be surprised by how consistent and well thought out their belief system is. Many of the things that appear confused, are in fact very well-thought-out pieces of psychological warfare. Muhammad Abdullah was a genius of the highest order. Never doubt that…

      • Most (for lack of a better word) great dictators and mass murders were geniuses, unfortunately we no longer live in a time when you were expected to give the devil his due and admit when evil people were or are smart.

        • He knew enough psychology to create a cult that would not only appeal to the rapist and looters of the world but would keep the non rapist and looters in the cult quiet, that took smarts. Granted he was an evil person who was very probably a bully we don’t help our cause when we refuse to fact the facts, in fact refusing to face the facts is what the left and their useful idiots do all the time.

        • It’s besides the point, anyway.

All we need to know is that they’re our enemies. You can’t trust them because they lie. They have disgusting customs and will force them on everybody else, if we let them.

They torture sentient beings for the fun of it.
Jews are their mortal enemies. So are black dogs.

I don’t care what makes them tick. Unless it helps to eradicate them from our midst.

        • Once you have said they are enemies you have said it all, you can dehumanize them all you want but never underestimate them, doing so leads to defeat every time it is done.

        • If you haven’t read the Quran, read it. The whole thing works like this amazing, evil machine. That’s why Islam is still alive and kicking 1400 years later. He thought of absolutely everything when it came to envisioning a total dictatorship. I do believe, with respect, that Muhammad Abdallah was history’s greatest evil genius (and bully).

Think about it. The Third Reich lasted only about twelve years…

So what was she doing in the Ukraine? Is the Ukraine Muslim now? If it is, I hope Russia destroys the Ukraine.

        • When the Russian Empire initially conquered that region they had several reasons for doing so, 1) they wanted more territory to give to loyal soldiers and functionaries. 2) they wanted a warm water port to base a lot of their navy out of. 3) they wanted to stop the Tartars from raiding into the more settled regions of Russia. 4) it gave the Generals a chance to show how good they were. 5) it stopped other European nations from playing politics by inciting unrest in that region.

        • From the Russian view point and with 20-20 hindsight yes they were, although it worried the people of Western Europe at the time. Read Kim by Kipling, pay attention to the part about the Great Game and understand that there is some evidence that Russia helped foment the Sepoy rebellion. The Russian bear has been an enemy of the west for a long time.

        • I read Kim long ago. Time to read it as an adult.

There’s an old expression, intended as a warning, ‘Beware of the Bear who acts like a Man’.

I don’t even know what language it’s translated from – but Russia has made many nations wary.
