I24 News:
Unconfirmed reports that the leader of IS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was among those hit
“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, an al-Qaida-linked group fighting in Iraq and Syria.”AFPA meeting of top Islamic State (IS) officials, possibly including the group’s overall leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was the target of a US-led coalition airstike reported Al-Hadath television channel Saturday.
The US military confirmed that the strike occurred but have yet to confirm or deny if Baghdadi, the group’s overall leader, had been killed.
A number of high ranking IS officials are reported to have been killed or injured.
No problem if he goes. There are many aspiring to take his place.
Al-Baghdadi brought this on himself. I doubt if anyone is too worried about his fate. The trouble is that there are many waiting to take his place.

Kurdistan – Liberated Zumar says it does not want Arabs back
You have to believe Muslims for this to be true. Seem legit? Would be a good way for the Caliph to take a low profile for awhile and let the mystery remain. It would be nice if he were dead but even if he is, there is someone/others very close to him who were already contemplating offing him and gleefully don the headrag of Allah in his place.
After the Mahdi died, his entire army got back on their camels and went home. Who knows…
If shortly after the new Mahdi comes forward he dies the entire jihad will probably fall apart, other then that I doubt that killing a wanna be Caliph will have the same effect.
Pffft…whatever. If he dies, he simply gets replaced with the next man. Big deal, nothing to see here….
Next…
Nice shot!
Martin,
“The Kurds do not want Arabs back”
Would that include Arab Christians or Assyrians?
Saddam moved many Arabs into Kurdish areas to stake a claim to them. Is Zumar one of those area?

IMHO, this is newsworthy. FBI Director Comey, in response to Fox’s Jenine Pirro, says that returning ISIS fighter to USA will be interned pending trial, as opposed being allowed freedom of movement with FBI surveillance.
I think this is different than in EU countries where such individuals upon return are still allowed freedom of movement.
This is good news. Also because is raises the issue of why would you allow known ISIS supporters already in the USA freedom of movement?
