Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz warned Tuesday that Israel was prepared to completely eviscerate Lebanon in response to any cross-border missile attack by Hezbollah.
Katz (Likud) was responding to a fiery speech by the Shiite group’s head Hassan Nasrallah earlier in the day in which the extremist leader claimed that his organization’s rockets can hit anywhere in Israel and threatened to target the country’s sea ports and main airport in the next conflict.

6. Boko Haram renames Mubi ‘City of Islam’
Nov 5 – Within hours of army orders to retake Mubi, Boko Haram fighters have defied the Nigerian authorities by renaming the shopping centre and second biggest city in Adamawa state Madunital Islam (City of Islam). Mobi North and Mobi South and the Michika and Madagali centres are currently firmly in extremist hands. Local sources reported that the Islamists had set up road blocks and urged local residents not to flee but to remain in the areas under Boko Haram control, safer than the Nigerian territory.
(It should come as no surprise that muslims remove the right of exit from people in areas they conquer. Clearly no one thinks life will be better for anyone under their control)

Fears of jihadi “blowback” from the wars in Syria and Iraq reaching Saudi Arabia have been fanned by a deadly sectarian attack that killed five people on the Shia religious holiday of Ashura.
Saudi authorities on Tuesday announced the arrest of 15 people suspected of involvement in what was labelled a terrorist shooting at a Shia mosque in al-Ahsa in the country’s eastern province, as mainstream Sunni clerical leaders condemned the incident, which analysts have described as ominous.
Al-Arabiya TV described the 10-strong group of attackers as Saudi nationals led by a man who had fought in Iraq and Syria.
Reports from Riyadh said three masked assailants fired machine guns and pistols at random on a crowd leaving a husseiniya (place of worship) in the village of al-Dalwa on the eve of the festival on Monday. Five people were killed and nine injured. Videos purporting to show the aftermath of the attack showed a body lying in a pool of blood outside a building, with people milling around and calling for help.
