Let’s start with some links on the new Ebola+ test on a care worker who treated the lone African who came to the US.
1. BBC: Ebola: Health care worker tests positive at Texas hospital
A Texan health worker who treated Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan before he died is also infected with the virus, according to a preliminary test.
The unnamed worker, who is in a stable condition in an isolation ward, wore full protective gear while treating Duncan, a Dallas health official said.
2. ITV.COM: Texas health worker contracted Ebola despite wearing ‘full protective gear’
The worker treated a victim of Ebola at a hospital in Texas, during which he was wearing “full protective gear”, officials said.
(Wait for denials on that one soon)
3. BizPakReview: Health worker who treated Liberian Ebola fatality tests positive; 1st infection in US
An unidentified healthcare worker who helped treat the Liberian man who died of Ebola last week in Texas has tested positive for the virus.
In a statement released to the media Sunday, the Texas Department of State Health Services said the worker has been in isolation since reporting a fever on Friday. While the positive results are only preliminary, if they are confirmed, it would mark the first case of the deadly disease actually spread through contact in the United States.
It may be time to ask some pretty obvious questions.
I would base those questions around two scenarios, each of which has its own set of issues.
Scenario 1:
Ebola does indeed spread exactly as we are told by various authorities that it does spread. This could in fact be true. But it begs the following questions:
Is it that the equipment currently in use is not capable of preventing the spread of transmission?
This seems unlikely as we were al assured that it would by pretty much every expert.
So then is it possible that this equipment was not properly put into use?
Seems unlikely as many who died or contracted the disease were also experts in its use. It is possible that third world staff and volunteers who do not really understand microbiology and do not even necessarily believe in Ebola as a disease in the Greek sense of the term, do not bother to use the equipment correctly as they don’t believe it will really make any difference. A sort of ‘Pascal’s Wager’ with virus’s.
Is it possible that rare failures with the equipment or procedures are what results in the rare contracting and subsequent mass reporting of certain individuals who get the disease but even if thats the case it has other implications…
That the disease simply cannot be contained even if we are correct about the method of transmission because of inadequate training of support staff, poor or ineffective equipment or equipment that is so complex and detailed in procedure that someone somewhere will indeed make an error, contract the disease, then have something like 21 days to spread the disease before they figure out they have it. (Granted the infectious stage is not immediate after an individual contracts the disease. The communicable stage will likely be a lot less than 21 days)
Scenario II:
The Ebola virus does not spread as we think it does, or as we are told it does. That we do not know how to contain it or prevent it.
This demands a very different set of questions. Like why have we not stopped all inbound flights from infected and surrounding areas, as well as many other related policy issues.
Thank you UK Pete, Richard, M, Maria J. and all who sent in links. There will be a lot more over the weekend I’m sure. All who find what I am certain are truck sized logical errors in my process please explain them in the comments. I would like to see what I have missed. Also those interested may want to check the comments as readers usually place followup and related links well worth seeing in there.

#2 The denials are arriving, the following link has a CDC man saying that the fact the worker was infected shows protocols were violated. He finds it impossible that we don’t know enough to say the protocols are enough to prevent the spread of Ebola. This despite a fairly large percentage of health workers in Africa contracting the disease.

SORRY…..A REPOSTED COMMENT……..I AM NOTHING IF NOT LAZY AND UNINSPIRED……..MEA CULPA…..MEA CULPA……
On the Ebola thingy, I was watching the news.
There in all her now paunchy splendor (she was a real little hottie a few years ago) stood Canadian federal Minister Rona Ambrose, with steely eyes and pouty lips she assured us all that ALL precautions were being taken to keep Ebola out of Canada……..Minister Ambrose stated;
“We’re asking travelers from high-risk areas like West Africa some very pointed questions and they must fill out a questionnaire”
Wow!!!……I wonder if the Gestapo or the Khmer Rouge ever used the dreaded “questionnaire” to elicit the truth from their guests?……..further, I think the “pointed question” ranks somewhere between bamboo under the fingernails and ravenous ferrets turned loose on testicles slathered with BBQ sauce……….”we haff vays off maykink you talk”…….
Moving on……….
I wither ‘neath the shadow of Minister Ambrose expeditious and certainly effective response to a deadly plague of hemorrhagic fever that has the potential to kill millions of Canadians.
In light of Minister Ambrose vast depth of good judgement I opine the following;
There are times when the sum total of a person’s character, depth of talent and contribution to Humanity can be described as little more than the work of a malodorous muscle, circular in shape, responsible for waste disposal and located in the southern hemisphere of the human body……..however, for brevity’s sake, sometimes an asshole is just an asshole.
The appropriate course of action is a 21 day quarantine, paid for by the quarantined at a cost of about 5000.00 per day. 105,000 dollars may be a steep fee for entrance to Canada but Canada is, after all, one of the greatest clubs in the world….and as racist as it may sound……were not fond of riff-raff bearing hemorrhagic fever.
This and a ban of all general and expedited cargo shipments, including mail, from the entirety of Africa, until this Ebola thingy is under control.
TO MY REPOSTED COMMENT…….
Hello there…..its me again……Don Laird….
As with magic and magicians so too with politics and politicians……..always watch the hands……from the lips fall words of distraction and dissuasion……while in the hands are held the currency of agenda manifestation…..
While you cringe at my waxing the poetic……consider this…
While I do not place much in the conspiracy that the Obama administration is solely responsible for the Ebola plague consider a conversation held in the Oval Office……
Consider that Obama and his administration, included in that, Hillary and her rabid Muslim whore Huma Abedin, know full well that for their crimes of treason, sedition and unbridled treachery, all of which is legend and defines their occupation of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, they stand little or no chance of reelection.
So………..
What better way to “reformat” the mind of the voter than to allow Ebola to be brought into the United States to kill a few hundred thousand Americans and while those souls are bleeding to death from their eye sockets, ears and anuses, be seen to be America’s saving grace.
Why stop with the treason of Eric Holder?
Why stop with the sneering indifference of Janet Napolitano?
Why stop with the delight of domestic enemy Lois Lerner as she, with the full backing of the White House, ravages entire families for their religious and political convictions?
Why stop with overt and unashamed alliances made by the White House with the terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood?
A little death………or a lot of death……Benghazi unplugged no less. …….distraction and dissuasion……the currency of agenda manifestation.
Food for thought, catalyst for action.

ZeroHedge: Public Health Emergency Declared In Connecticut Over Ebola: Civil Rights Suspended Indefinitely
10/10/2014 22:53
Governor Dan Malloy has declared a Public Health Emergency in Connecticut, authorizing the “isolation of any individual reasonably believed to have been exposed to the Ebola virus.” Simply put, as we noted previously, the State of Public Health Emergency allows bureaucrats to detain and force-vaccinate people without due process – despite not one single case being found in CT. If there is a major Ebola pandemic in America, all of the liberties and the freedoms that you currently enjoy would be gone.

USA – Mass – Officials quarantine Braintree medical facility, isolate patient citing Ebola protocol
Harvard Vanguard Medical Center in Braintree is being quarantined and a patient isolated outside the facility with a possible case of Ebola, officials said.
“Ebola protocol is in place,” said Joe Zanca of Braintree Fire Department. “We don’t know if he actually has Ebola.”
William Cash, also a Braintree firefighter, said “no one is leaving.”
The patient recently traveled to West Africa, and is being isolated based on his medical complaints, fire officials said.
Police, fire officials, and emergency medical services responded to the scene, along with a hazmat team, Zanca said.
