I reluctantly posted the clip of the segment when it first came out because pretty much everyone I knew sent me a link to it. Personally I found it painful to watch. In fact I don’t even recall if I ever made it to the end of the clip. I respect Sam Harris and more recently, Bill Mahar to a degree as he seems to be ready to leverage his position as a high earning star of the left leaning celebrity strata to reveal a little truth about Islam.

There has been several articles I have seen on it but none worth posting till this one by Sam Harris himself. Please click over and read it. Ill put the clip below as a reminder of the event.

  1. I haven’t ever bothered watching that clip. Liberals like Sam Harris are clueless. We are 30 years passed the point where we should be polite to those who defend islam. For example: 25% of all meat in the UK is halal, and 21% of young criminals are muslim. There is a clear and present danger. And libeeral leftard idiots have spent 30 years putting the rest of us in danger. Affleck is going to always be surrounded by bodyguards, us normal folk aren’t.

    Leftists are unprincipled liars. And I have yet to meet a single honest muslim who was not a pro-Caliphate supremacist. Those few who were honest, informed, decent people and were muslim have apostasised. They live in fear of their lives, and they are angry at us true liberal democrats for offering them no material support to defend themselves from muslims/family who want them dead (and in some cases have taken out contracts to have them killed).

    Anyone who goes into a debate on the subject of islam should automatically assume that muslims and leftards are going to be dishonest and will use every underhand trick in the book.

    For god’s sake: haven’t the assassinations (or attempts) on Pim Fortuyn, Theo van Gogh, Lars Hedegaard, Lars Vilks, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Salman Rushdie, etc. taught people anything? We are in a post-dialogue world. The Left and muslims will murder the critics of islam. Anyone who attacks the critics of islam in this context is on the side of those killers.

    Enter any debate with the assumption the gloves are off. I’ve been the lone voice in a conference of 100 muslims, and denounced them as Nazis. I had to leave that conference expecting to be beaten or killed. When I’ve attended leftist conferences and exposed their lies, I have been physically attacked.

    Sam Harris was off his game, for some reason he was caught with his pants down and paid a price for that.

    One; in the first instance he should have answered a resounding “yes” when Affleck asked him about his knowledge of “codified Islam”,

    Two; in the second instance he should have been all over Affleck for that crack about “Islamophobia”.

    This was embarrassing and Harris should have known better than to assume Leftist/Liberals would not be gunning for him and Maher the moment the interview started.

    I hope it stings and I hope he smartens up. Academically speaking, Affleck was and is a lightweight, Harris should have eaten this punk for breakfast.

    Even we can watch the Harris/Affleck exchange and learn something; don’t come to a battle of wits unarmed, its embarrassing for everyone.

      Actually, if as per Affleck only “experts” are allowed to comment, Harris should have told Affleck to be silent while the panel discussed something beyond Affleck’s area of expertise, i.e. a non-Hollywood topic.

      People like Sam Harris, etc. are constantly on the defensive. They should be on the attack, all the time. Whenever anyone says “islamophobia” the response should be: “so you don’t care that 1.5 billion people implement the kuffarphobic ideology of islam, where non-muslims are 3rd class citizens; you don’t care that islam offers us the choice of serfdom, slavery or death, whilst we offer muslims equal rights?”

      It is staggering that people like Sam Harris allow the enemy to set the terms of the debate. People should stop referring to “islamism” and only refer to it as “islamic fascism”.

    “Indian and Pakistani troops traded heavy fire over their border in the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, killing at least four civilians and worsening tensions between the long-time rivals, officials on both sides said Wednesday.

    The bullet and mortar exchanges — which Indian officials called the worst violation of a 2003 cease-fire — also wounded 18 civilians on the Indian side and another three on the Pakistani side.

    “We have a very serious situation at hand right now,” said Shantmanu, an Indian administrator in the area who uses one name. He said there was panic among people living close to the border.

    Tens of thousands have fled homes on both sides since the violence erupted Sunday night. In total, nine civilians on the Pakistani side and seven on the Indian have been killed in the last three nights of fighting, officials said.

    “We fail to understand why the Indians are targeting Pakistani civilian populations,” said Maj. Gen. Khan Javed Khan of the Pakistani paramilitary border force. Indian officials have made similar comments, accusing the Pakistanis of focusing on civilian settlements.

    Since Sunday night, the violence has spread to more points along the 200-kilometer (125-mile) border between Pakistan’s Punjab province and the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir. That lower-altitude border, guarded by paramilitary border forces, is lined on both sides by ancient villages and agricultural fields.

    With the skirmishes spreading, Indian authorities moved to government shelters another 5,000 people Tuesday night in the worst-hit Samba sector, said Indian police officer K. Rajendra. Pakistan’s Khan said 12,000 villagers had been evacuated since Monday.

    The Mujahedin-e Khalk, or MEK, cites Iranian government sources it did not identify. It said Wednesday that Iran’s Organization of Defensive Information and Research, or SPND, moved its most sensitive weapons research to a new Tehran location “in recent months.”

    It says Mohsem Fakhrizadeh, whom it described as a Revolutionary Guard brigadier general, leads the SPND.

    Some — but not all — of the MEK’s previous information has been confirmed by Western governments and the U.N. nuclear agency probing Tehran’s atomic activities.

    In announcing sanctions on SPND in August, the U.S. government described it as “primarily responsible for research in the field of nuclear weapons.”

    Iran denies working or seeking such arms.”

    The prospects are small to nil, as the reformers do bot have a leg to stand on, while traditionalists( aka known as the radicals), have all the canonical texts of Islam to back them up.

    One way but is an exchange of populations; Muslims in the West, exchanged for Christians in Muslim countries. A major war on the horizon if the current 50 year war that Bush, Blair, and now Cameron and even Obama are talking off does not succeed in its objective.

      There is no prospect of reform. There has been a manifest problem with islam in the west since 1989, and globally since at least the 1970s. How long must we wait before we see 10,000 reformers at a conference or a demonstration? Hizb ut Tahrir can get 10,000 to a conference in London.

      Reformers like Maajid Nawaz will not denounce or reject the islamic texts which show that Mohammed — the perfect model for islamic morality — beheaded children and raped women and tortured men and sold off women and girls as slaves. The most we get from the likes of him is the idea that it is wrong nowadays for muslims to use violence to achieve their aims, and that maybe a secular society is better than a theocracy.

      Imagine us all talking up a life-long Nazi, who would not denounce Hitler’s use of the gas chambers. When you bear that comparison in mind, it makes it clear how little reform we expect from people like Maajid Nawaz. Ask Nawaz to say that Mohammed was not a good example of a moral individual and he won’t do that. Would you find it acceptable if a contemporary Nazi refused to say Hitler was a bad man?

      And even in Nawaz would denounce Mohammed: Nawaz’s organisation Quilliam has no support among muslims. There are probably 100 muslim organisations in the UK which have more support from muslims than does Quilliam.

      If Quilliam could organise a conference of 10,000 reformist muslims, then maybe there would be hope. Since Quilliam could probably not get 50 reformist muslims in a room, whilst Hizb ut Tahrir can get 10,000 — it shows how doomed western countries are.

  8. The anti-father upbringing of many Americans today with wanton absent fathers and socialist petting, leads to the recognition of any kiddology of a Father-figure to be preferential over real. Because, there is no repentance-pain to face and so we can all ‘learn’ to be ‘better people’.

    Rather than inherent their mantle of manhood from forgiving their father who could not find it within themselves, they select one out of a box of images. And it is increasing from LGBTQM to now add C for curious as evidence of genetic empowerment.

    For the lost, Islam is the Lie for Men, as Communism is the Lie for Women, and Socialism the lie for Identity.
