4. CDC Director: Ebola Outbreak ‘Is Spiraling Out Of Control’
(The CDC is not prone to hysterical statements as a rule)
ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta/AP) — The director for the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention says that the Ebola outbreak is going to get worse.
Speaking to “CBS This Morning” following his trip to the West African countries dealing with the outbreak, Dr. Tom Frieden explained that they have to act now to try to get Ebola under control.
“It is the world’s first Ebola epidemic and it is spiraling out of control. It’s bad now and it’s going to get worse in the very near future,” Frieden told CBS News. “There is still a window of opportunity to tamp it down, but that window is closing. We really have to act now.”
(Since this began, many experts have explained how this disease can be managed and spread prevented. yet many doctors have now contracted it and many died. This tends to suggest that they were wrong in their assessment of how it spreads)

#1 As I have said before the Marxist want to create a massive neo-feudal society with themselves as the nobles and God Kings.
#3 Everyone who has studied Marxism and dictatorships knew this was coming,, the only surprising thing is that it took so long to happen.
#4 The estimates of how many are going to catch Ebola keep growing but no one really knows, one estimate I have seen says 10,000 by the end of the year.

They aren’t wrong in knowing how it spreads. The third American doctor wasn’t wearing protective gear since he was working in the maternity ward. The two Nigerian doctors were infected by the stupid American business man who selfishly tried to evade quarantine and murdered 17 people as a result. The tragedy is that local governments are unwilling or unable to enforce quarantine and people who have been exposed to the virus are unwilling to go to isolation facilities. I thought fear would have kicked in by now and people would be wising up but apparently not. Firestone Tire company shows how stopping the epidemic should be done:

UK paying experts to build Islamic State war crimes case (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29052475
“A team of international investigators funded by the British government is compiling evidence against Islamic State fighters carrying out atrocities in Iraq and Syria, the BBC has learned.
They have spent months preparing up to 400 prosecution-ready files on the group’s senior leaders and fighters.
Internal IS documents acquired by the team show “command responsibility” for numerous atrocities.
The group has taken over swathes of Iraq and Syria in recent months.
Working in strict secrecy, the team of experts has spent all year actively investigating commanders, emirs and provincial governors for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The atrocities alleged to have been committed by those in their ranks include kidnappings, beheadings, crucifixions, torture and summary executions….”

Al-Qaeda chief Zawahiri launches al-Qaeda in South Asia (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-29056668
“Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has announced in a videoed message the creation of an Indian branch of his militant group to “raise the flag of jihad” across South Asia.
In the 55-minute video posted online, Zawahari pledged renewed loyalty to Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar.
Correspondents say his stated allegiance is an apparent snub to Islamic State (IS) militants.
IS is challenging al-Qaeda to lead worldwide Islamist militancy.
Announcing the formation of “al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent” using a mixture of his native Arabic and Urdu widely spoken in Pakistan, Zawahiri appeared eager to regain some of the limelight, correspondents say.
“[Al-Qaeda] is an entity that was formed to promulgate the call of the reviving imam, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden. May Allah have mercy upon him,” Zawahiri said.
He urged the “umma”, or Muslim nation, to” wage jihad against its enemies, to liberate its land, to restore its sovereignty and to revive its caliphate”.
Zawahiri said “al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent” would be good news for Muslims in Burma, Bangladesh and in the Indian states of Assam, Gujarat, and Jammu and Kashmir, where they would be rescued from injustice and oppression.
Counter-terrorism experts say al-Qaeda’s ageing leadership is vying with IS to recruit followers after the success of militants in the Middle East in attracting young followers worldwide by conquering large amounts of territory across Iraq and Syria…”
Somalia offers al-Shabab members amnesty (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29044368
“Somalia’s government has offered an amnesty to fighters of Islamist group al-Shabab, amid uncertainty over whether its leader survived a US air strike.
The militants would be reintegrated into society if they surrendered over the next 45 days, a statement said.
The offer seems to be an attempt to exploit the vulnerability of al-Shabab following the air strike, analysts say.
Al-Shabab has refused to say whether its leader Ahmed Abdi Godane survived.
The strike took place on Monday as Mr Godane was travelling in a convoy in southern Somalia’s Lower Shabelle region….”
British hostage: PM says UK will not be ‘cowed’ by threats (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-29040550
“The UK “will not waver” in its aim to defeat terrorism, David Cameron has said as he condemned the “barbaric” beheading of a second US hostage.
Islamic State extremists threatened to kill a British hostage in a video of US journalist Steven Sotloff’s death unless US air strikes in Iraq stopped.
Ministers say “every possible option” will be considered to protect the British man. He has family in Scotland but relatives do not want him named.
IS also killed a US hostage last month.
Speaking at Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Cameron told MPs that “this country will never give in to terrorism and our opposition to Isil (IS) will continue at home and abroad”. …”

Nigeria’s Boko Haram ‘seize Banki town near Cameroon’ (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)

The military has not yet commented on the latest town to reportedly fall to the insurgents in recent weeks.

Pakistan army ‘kills 910 militants in Waziristan offensive’ (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-29018063
“Pakistan’s military says it has killed at least 910 suspected militants since launching an offensive in the tribal area of North Waziristan in June.
Some 82 soldiers had died fighting the insurgents there and in raids across the country, the statement said.
The army said the main towns in North Waziristan, which had been a Taliban stronghold, were now under its control.
Media access is blocked in tribal areas near the Afghan border and there is no independent confirmation of the claims.
The army statement was released amid mounting anti-government protests in the capital. The military says it is not taking sides in the crisis.
The long-awaited offensive against the Pakistani Taliban finally began after the collapse of peace talks between the militants and the government. …”
Libyan jet crashes in Tobruk near parliament (BBC, Sept 3, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29044364
“A Libyan military jet has crashed in the eastern city of Tobruk, causing a huge inferno and killing a child and at least two other people, officials say.
The jet hit a block of flats near the new parliamentary building after developing a “technical fault”, a security official said.
The jet was controlled by forces loyal to ex-General Khalifa Haftar who have been battling Islamist militias.
The Islamist-linked Libya Dawn group seized the capital, Tripoli, last week.
Parliament had earlier relocated to Tobruk, more than 1,000km (620 miles) away, because of the deteriorating security situation in Tripoli.
Witnesses said the jet was flying at a low altitude and smoke was billowing out of its engine before it crashed into an apartment block and burst into flames, the AFP news agency reports….”

His comments come after President Barack Obama vowed the US would not be intimidated after IS militants released a video showing the beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff.
Mr Obama said the US would build a coalition to “degrade and destroy” IS.
Another US journalist, James Foley, was similarly killed last month.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mr Biden echoed Mr Obama’s comments, saying the US would not stop until the militants are brought to justice….”
