first of all, the new Saudi posture on Israel probably needs some analysis. I certainly don’t have a definitive idea of why they are announcing this new radical shift in foreign policy but I can guess as to one reason they may have taken it and its a frightening one for the ruling class in the KSA.
If their risk/benefit equation in terms of Iran as an enemy and the religious Muslim Brotherhood/Al-Qaeda supporting segment of their own population, both of which despise the rulers of the KSA, and the Islamic State variation of the Muslim Brotherhood, which has even has threatened to destroy the black cube in Mecca as idolatrous, must now have a pretty strong likelihood of toppling the rulers in the eyes of the KSA and making it a part of the new Caliphate if they feel Israel would work for their stability should they form an alliance of some kind. That is my best guess after a few minutes of thought. Please post any other thinking on this in comments.

Eeyore I think you are right, the Saudi Royal family is afraid of Iran and ISIS, they also realize that Obama is supporting Iran so they are looking for some other nuclear power to be their protector. 1) I don’t know anyone who is selling explosives under the table anymore.
2) Booby trapping your house is called first degree murder in the states and I think it is in Britain also. Also explosives are hard to work with unless you are trained in their use, most semi-trained people use too much explosives and cause major collateral damage.

If there is one thing in this world that Muhammad wanted more than anything else, it was possession of the city of Mecca. Imagine the authority that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi could assume today if he had possession of Mecca, just like Mohammad in the good old days. Much as the Saudis hate Jews – and they really, really do – they would rather work with them than get beheaded by some crazed Jihadi from Autraliastan.
I think that ISIS is the most wonderful thing that has happened to the world scene for many decades because they are moving too fast, they are too cruel, and they are damaging the reputation of Islamic terrorism as well as waking up some very dangerous Infidels. People of the Middle East know, just as the Egyptian people seem to know, that life under these Sunni extremists would be as unbearable as it would be short because ISIS are quite simply out of their ever loving minds -literally. I reported something to the anti-terrorist hotline and the stupid woman said that I was just reporting a man because he was muslim and had a big beard, Where I live on the coast, illegal immigrants pour in, there are no checks.
