Secret Service ‘Aware’ of Apparent ISIS Flag Photo in Front of the White House (abcnews/pictures, Aug 14, 2014)
    http://abcnews.go.com/US/secret-service-aware-apparent-isis-flag-photo-front/story?id=24985241

” The Secret Service said it is “aware” of a photo that appeared to show an image of an ISIS flag in front of the White House.

If authentic, the photo showed a hand holding up an image of a flag for ISIS (also known as ISIL or Islamic State), displayed on a smartphone, on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House fence. That area, closed off to street traffic, is frequented by thousands of tourists every day.

It was tweeted from an apparently pro-ISIS Twitter handle @sunna_rev on Aug. 9.

“We have an intelligence division whose mission is to assess information that we receive every day for dangerousness or potential threat level,” Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told ABC News. “We are aware of the image and will take the necessary and appropriate follow up steps.”

The Secret Service did not respond to an additional question about whether the tweet was believed to be authentic. The FBI has not yet responded to ABC News’ request for comment on the tweet, its suspected origin, or whether it signifies a serious threat to the U.S.

A senior U.S. intelligence official told ABC that use of Twitter is consistent with ISIS practices. The group has shown to be at the forefront of social-media use among terrorist and militant groups, the official said.

Another photo displayed a note handwritten in Arabic. It read, “Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon,” followed by a Koran verse that read, “and Allah is perfecting His Light even though the disbelievers hate (that).”

In the image, the note was dated June 20, 2014. It was unclear where the photo was taken, but two American flags appeared over an arched entryway…”

  2. Islamic State fighters kill dozens of Yazidi villagers

Extremist fighters have killed more than 80 men and detained hundreds of women in a Yazidi village, Yazidis and Kurdish officials said Saturday, offering a reminder that the ancient minority sect is still at risk despite President Obama’s conclusion that the threat had passed for those stranded on Mount Sinjar.

  3. That sounds like the straight goods to me. With each and every Muslim horror there always comes a Muslim protest, not about the horror, but about the fear of the islamophobia that is going to rain down on the poor Muslims as a result of the horror. And what’s more, they always sound defensive rather than concerned. It’s always, “Why are you picking on me? There are terrorists from every religion – what about Timothy McVeigh?, what about the Crusades?, Hitler was a Christian…”. I have rarely seen a Muslim express anything like remorse for the misery that their religion inflicts on so many…

  4. Wow!!! Just wow!!! What a refreshing honesty!!!! This guy just said the words that I had on my heart on Canadian TV! God bless him! I am an Iranian ex-Muslim, ex-pat and I live in Europe at the moment and I say these very words to my friends here and many don’t even believe me!!!! I can say what he said is a 100% true! Word for word!!!

Muslim immigrants ONLY care about defending their culture and the honour of Islam! Basically they are only interested in nursing their pathological inferiority complexes, and that goes for the so-called “moderate” ones as well. That is all! They don’t give a damn if people are being killed by Muslims, if people are being thrown out of their homes, if women are stoned or what ever! To go out of one’s way to try to rectify that is NOT in their agenda at all! All that they care about is to make sure that God forbid no infidel would dare think bad of Islam and Muslims!

That is exactly why the so-called “moderate” Muslims spend ALL of their time trying to convince the Western infidels that Al-Qaeda and ISIS are misunderstanding Islam, but they don’t spend even two seconds trying to convince people in Al-Qaeda and ISIS, or even their own freaking radical children that they are misunderstanding Islam. Even though one would think if they were sincere convincing the terrorist who are doing all the murder and mayhem would be the more urgent task!

Also I loved what he said about the symbiosis between the Leftists and the Muslims. Western anti-Jihadis know very well how Leftists buy the fabricated Muslim narrative of victimhood so readily. But some may not know how much the leftist, Marxist, anti-colonialist narrative of history and society has been responsible for the rise of Muslims’ sense of victimhood and hatred of the West and their sense of self-pity. As a whole it has been very very destructive of our understanding of ourselves and our histories and the root-causes of our own problems and it has given us, the people of the 3rd world in general and Muslims in particular a facile copout from the harder task of facing our own failures and rectifying the problems within our own culture and worldview.

I grew up in Iran with Marxist literature all around me. Even though Iran had never been a colony of any Western nation, nor has it ever been under the mandate of Europeans, never the less we Iranians usually see all of the problems that we have ever had, the poverty, the illiteracy, our utter dependance on oil as our only serious export, etc… all due to the effects of colonialism! Growing up I really thought we really were a colony at some point! I mean we must have been right??!!! Well! When I became a serious history buff in my teen years I was shocked and stunned to know that we never were! If anything the Brits dug out the oil under our feet, built a refinery to purify it and after a few years we kicked them out unceremoniously and took over the refinery and the oil wells ourselves. You would think we would say thank you! But no! We hate the Brits! We think they were “exploiting” us!

Where did we learn that? From our own wit and experience? No, no no! It was all because of Soviet communist agitation! We learned this nonsense from a flood of Marxists books that the Soviets were printing in Persian and sending over the northern border into Iran, selling them dirt cheep so that any peasant boy or worker could buy and read the propaganda!

Even the most major grievance of the Muslims against the evil Christian West “the Crusades” is totally phoney grievance that the Muslims learned from Western history books. Otherwise they long had forgotten those conflicts and barely remembered what exactly had happened. But Western phoney and exaggerated anti-Crusade literature shapes the modern understanding of Muslims of those events and has caused them to feel agitated and much aggrieved for something that until yesterday they didn’t even remember.

Also the self-loathing and the exaggeration of the evil Western man’s misdeeds and vices while downplaying everybody else’s similar and even more egregious vices and misdeeds has helped shape the misunderstanding of the Muslims and blinding them to their own historic evils. This incredible double standard can be illustrated in one conversation that I had with a Canadian guy of British origin a while back. Upon hearing that I was from Iran he proceeded to inform me that a few weeks prior he had been in a London Museum and had seen the famous diamond Kohi Noor. He said that he had heard that this diamond at some point had belonged to the Iranian King. Then he promptly proceeded to apologise on behalf of Britain for having stolen it from us! This made me really laugh and my answer to him somewhat baffled him. I said that he shouldn’t apologise and agonise over this because after all our own king Nader Shah Afshar had stolen the diamond from the Indians Mogul emperor after violently sacking Delhi and after that it was stolen by some Afghan general from us and then it was stolen back by the King of Punjab Ranjid Singh from him and in the very end the British stole it from him! So I guess karma is a bitch and he owes us Iranians no apology after all! I also added that if today an Iranian meets an Indian somewhere it would never even cross his mind to apologise to him for the sacking of Delhi and stealing Kohi noor! Only Westerners grovel before other and apologise for their past actions even though the things that they did was often better and at least no worse than any body else!

Can you believe that this guy had never heard of all of this story? And he considered himself to be such a “learned” man for knowing that the diamond was stolen by the Brits! The fact is that the vast majority of Iranians too think that we were robbed of our precious diamond by the “colonialist” Brits, not knowing that we stole it from Indians ourselves and then they stole it back once again from us and only then the Brits stole them from the Indians. I happened to be a history buff so I knew the whole story. But even if you remind Iranian people that we stole the diamond ourselves most will still feel that somehow the Brits stealing it was morally much worse than us stealing it from the Indians. I swear to you, every single Iranian that I have ever talked to about this issue or similar issues thinks that when the Westerners do it is colonialism and it is evil but when we Muslims/ Iranians do it, it is NOT colonialism; it is OK. It is just, you know, “boys will be boys!” Muslims conquering neighbouring countries and building a huge Islamic empire from India to Spain was just brilliant conquest which just shows how swell and invincible we Muslims are , but the British building an empire were the sun never sets, well, that’s just evil imperialism and greed and exploitation! Where did they get this double standards? Partly from their own Islamic mentality of course. But their mentality has been strongly reinforced by the narrative that the Western self-hating, leftist literature. Sorry for the lengthy comment, but all that this guy in the video said was a pet peeve of mine!!
