1. Ebola terror at Gatwick as passenger collapses and dies getting off Sierra Leone flight

Staff tell of fears as jet from Africa is quarantined after the death of passenger who was ‘sweating and vomiting’ before she collapsed

Workers said they were terrified the virus could spread globally through the busy international hub from the West African country which is in the grip of the deadly epidemic.

The woman, said to be 72, became ill on the gangway after she left a Gambia Bird jet with 128 passengers on board. She died in hospital on Saturday.

Ebola has killed 256 people in Sierra Leone. A total of 826 have died in West Africa since the outbreak began in February. Tests were carried out to see if the woman had disease.

The plane was quarantined as ­officials desperately tried to trace everyone who had been in contact with the woman.

(Once again, proof that multiculturalism is as much to blame for this outbreak as anything else. If we had the guts to force science and scientific methods on the situation this would have been stopped and hundreds, and it looks like soon thousands, of people could have been saved)

But he adds the situation is being made even worse in some areas of the country, where possible victims are not seeking or refusing medical help because they believe the virus is down to witchcraft.

He told the Telegraph: “There is a section of population here who simply don’t believe Ebola is real, they think it is witchcraft so they don’t come to the treatment centres.”

4. British tabloid paper asks readership about support for the EDL

(Although this is from Nov 29, I think its highly significant and important enough to post now, as its the first I have heard of this, and likely the first for most people)

Interesting video of testimony to the Leveson enquiry on standards in the British press, by Richard Peppiatt, fromer reporter for the UK tabloid daily, The Daily Star.

In an aside during his examination by counsel, Mr Peppiatt inadvertantly revealed one of the few times public support for the EDL has ever been assessed – it has never once been quantified by any polling agency. His answer is surprising.

    Police arrest two women planning on joining jihad in Iraq and Syria

    The National Police have detained two young girls in the Spanish North African exclave of Melilla – one of whom is a minor – when they were preparing to travel to Morocco to meet with a network of recruiters from Al Qaeda. The pair would have been later taken to Iraq or to Syria to join the jihad.

    One of the youngsters is from Spain’s other exclave in North Africa, Ceuta, and is aged around 14, while the other is over the age of 18.

    Isn’t it amazing how totally unaffected our ruling elites in government and media feel about the actual will of the people? They know damn well that 99% of the British population agrees with the EDL’s positions, but instead of showing some respect for what they know the voters want, they just work harder trying to figure out ways to cover up the truth. These people, in their heart-of-hearts, are simply not democratic. We have been taken over by the “my way or the highway” crowd…

    • The ruling self proclaimed “elite” in all western nations have been showing disdain for the ordinary people for decades, they are just being more open about it now then previously.

    In a video titled “Eid Greetings from the Land of the Khalifa,” released this week and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, several jihadists from the United Kingdom, Morocco, and other areas of Africa attempt to convey what they claim is “indescribable joy” at living in Raqqa, Syria – the “capital” of the Caliphate. The video begins with an image of a child holding an automatic weapon – an image that is repeated several times, with different children, throughout the video, but the montages of children brandishing weapons and shouting “Allahu Akbar” lead to interviews with adults explaining what it is like to live in the Islamic State.
