Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the self-proclaimed leader of the Islamic State stretching across Iraq and Syria, has vowed to lead the conquest of Rome as he called on Muslims to immigrate to his new land to fight under its banner around the globe.
Baghdadi, who holds a PhD in Islamic studies, said Muslims were being targetted and killed from China to Indonesia. Speaking as the first Caliph, or commander of the Islamic faithful since the dissolution of the Ottoman empire, he called on Muslims to rally to his pan-Islamic state.
(I can’t help but agree with him in some ways. The main reason governments do not use their staggeringly better militaries against these groups is they are too afraid of their own muslim populations and hell, our governments are full of ‘Grima Wormtongues’ at every level from adviser to secretary of state to the committee that decides which refugee will be admitted to which ones rejected. Lets get em all into a target rich environment. Problem solved at both ends)
2. Norwegian Accused of Royal Threat Turns Up in Jihad Video
A Norwegian citizen previously accused of making threats against the country’s royal family has reportedly shown up in a jihadist video shot in Iraq, police said Tuesday.
Bastian Vasquez, a 25-year-old of Chilean origin, allegedly appears in the video, said to have been produced by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), gloating over the fall of an Iraqi border post.
3. In Jordan, ISIS hits a wall… for now
All eyes were on Jordan last week as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) made a run at the Hashemite Kingdom. There were concerns that ISIS’ momentum, plus sleeper cells and admirers of the terrorist group in eastern Jordan, would help to create a back door for the fighters to slip into the country. That plan by ISIS seemed to have failed for several reasons.
Fears were raised when rare pictures of several dozen alleged ISIS supporters were circulated widely on social media and news outlets, including the Washington Post.

5. Pope Francis says communists are closet Christians who’ve “stolen our flag”

Pope Francis, whose criticisms of unbridled capitalism have prompted some to label him a Marxist, said in an interview published on Sunday that communists had stolen the flag of Christianity.
The 77-year-old pontiff gave an interview to Il Messaggero, Rome’s local newspaper, to mark the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, a Roman holiday.
He was asked about a blog post in the Economist magazine that said he sounded like a Leninist when he criticised capitalism and called for radical economic reform.
6. Iraq crisis: ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi urges Muslims worldwide to fight
The leader of the Al Qaeda offshoot that has taken control of parts of Iraq and Syria has urged Muslims around the world to fight to avenge wrongs committed against their religion.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the head of the Islamic State – previously known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) – issued the call to jihad, or holy war, in an audio message posted online, lasting nearly 20 minutes.
It was his first purported message since the group proclaimed a ‘caliphate’ on the territory it has captured. Baghdadi named a string of countries, from Central African Republic to Myanmar (Burma), where he said violations were being committed against Muslims.
“Your brothers, on every piece of this earth, are waiting for you to rescue them,” he said.
(It is critically important to remember that when a muslim says anything similar to: “Wrongs committed against their religion” he means that non-believers fail to accept their utter dominance in every way)

Well, I am waiting for Anjem Choudary and Abu Izadeen and the rest of our resident welfare dependant cockroaches to head off to the caliphate and join the great unwashed army that is going to attack Rome. I am sure they would rather die for the Caliph on a battlefield than living on benefits here, although there is little sign of them booking a flight yet. A good wheeze might be to send the ‘Caliph’ all the Moslems in our prisons and involved in ‘infiltrating schools’, just as a starter. I

Ropers can argue that they are waging Jihad right here – Rape Jihad, demographic Jihad and Benefit Jihad. All these are far more crucial living behind “enemy” lines, then going off to live in a caliphate.
Muslims speak of “honour”. Now it must be obvious by now to every sentient Muslim, that they are not wanted in the UK. Every poll indicates that. Yet they stay on, moaning and complaining that they are the victims of every outrage that Muslims do on a daily basis. If I was not wanted in any country, I would be out of there pretty damned quick. Islam – the religion of no shame, no honour.

IBT – Buddhist-Muslim Clashes Erupt In Mandalay, Myanmar
A blog post alleging that a Buddhist woman was raped by Muslim men led to clashes between Myanmar’s Buddhist and Muslim communities in Mandalay, the nation’s second-largest city.
Three Buddhists and one Muslim person were reportedly injured and a number of shops owned by Muslims and a mosque were ransacked even as riot police stepped in to prevent further attacks, which began late on Tuesday night and continued into Wednesday morning, BBC reported.
The situation reportedly worsened when the blog post was shared on Facebook by Ashin Wirathu, who has been called the “Burmese Bin Laden,” and is the leader of the notorious 969 group, which has been described as a “Buddhist neo-Nazi movement” for its espousal of a narrow, Buddhist nationalist cause and its opposition to the spread of Islam in Myanmar.

Syria rebels will ‘lay down arms’ if no aid to fight IS
Rebels from northern and eastern Syria on Wednesday threatened to lay down their arms in a week if the country’s exiled opposition does not help them fight the jihadist Islamic State (IS).
“We, the leaders of the brigades and battalions… give the National Coalition, the (opposition) interim government, the (rebel) Supreme Military Council and all the leading bodies of the Syrian revolution a week to send reinforcements and complete aid,” the statement said.
“Should our call not be heard, we will lay down our weapons and pull out our fighters,” it added.
“Our popular revolution (against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad)… is today under threat because of the (Islamic State), especially after it announced a caliphate,” said the statement.
Rebel groups from those areas have frequently complained of being poorly funded even though they are leading the fight against IS, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
The statement comes days after US President Barack Obama called on Congress to approve $500 million to train and equip the moderate Syrian opposition.
It also follows a visit late last week by Secretary of State John Kerry to Saudi Arabia, during which he said: “The moderate Syrian opposition… has the ability to be a very important player in pushing back against (the jihadists’) presence.”
