2. IAF Attacks Gaza Targets Following Rocket Fire

IAF launches airstrikes on several terror targets in Gaza, hours after terrorists fired four rockets at southern Israel.

According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the airstrikes targeted three terrorist centers and two weapons depots in southern Gaza, as well a terrorist center in central Gaza. Direct hits were confirmed and all aircraft returned safely to their bases, the IDF statement said.

  1. Hamas video with captions in Hebrew: Fight against Israeli forces in West Bank

    The Palestinian Authority’s efforts to assist Israel in locating the kidnapped Israeli teens were met with a Gazan counter-response in the form of a video posted on social networks that called to fight against Israeli forces in the West Bank.
     
    The video also positioned settlements as the focal point of the conflict and attempted to leverage the abduction into an all-inclusive battle.

  3. Taliban cut off fingers of 11 Afghan voters

    Taliban militants have cut off the ink-stained fingers of 11 Afghan men as a punishment for disobeying their diktat in the crucial presidential run-off poll that saw a higher than expected turnout of 52%.

    “AFG The insurgents who were defeated today cut off inked fingers of 11 voters in #Herat. The injured ppl transported to the hospital,” Afghanistan’s deputy interior minister Ayoub Salangi tweeted.

    The gruesome incident took place on Saturday in Herat Province after the 11 men, mostly elders, who returned after casting their ballot in the run-off to elect a successor to President Hamid Karzai, who has been in office since 2001.

    The injured men were taken to a hospital, Salangi said.
