1. It would appear that the US Marines have come full circle. Initially created by Jefferson to defend against Jihad of the sea, fighting back against islamic slave ships, now the Marines are in Nigeria arresting jihadi slavers. Interesting. Will the US admit this out loud I wonder?

2. Holy crap! Let’s Drink for Stalin!?!? In Ukraine? Is he insane?

3. Massive Police presence in today’s EDL march in Yorkshire. (Amateur video here. RT Below)

4. Lawyer for doctor in Bin Laden case quits over security

(One thing has become obvious. It is much safer and more prosperous to be an enemy of the USA and the West in general than it is to be an ally. How the Obama admin betrayed this man deserves a feature film at the very very least. Sadly, Hollywood is also on the other side)

The lawyer for a doctor accused of helping the US find Osama Bin Laden has told the BBC that he has quit the case after receiving frequent death threats.

Lawyer Samiullah Afridi also cited US pressure on Pakistan for the release of Dr Shakil Afridi as another reason for his decision.

Dr Afridi is accused of using the cover of a door-to-door vaccination campaign to help the US find Bin Laden.

Pakistan was not informed of the 2011 raid which killed the al-Qaeda leader.

Samiullah Afridi told the BBC that his life had been under threat since he took up the case two years ago.

5. Carbon dating from an archaeological dig by the University of Buckingham shows that the parish of Amesbury, which includes Stonehenge, has been continually occupied for every millennia since 8820BC

(I point this out as leftists and muslims both have a habit of rewriting history to justify obliterating the group they wish gone and to advantage the group who actually built the place in question)

6. Plain clothes agents from Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Surveillance storm into a concert hall in Yazd. As the band stands at the edge of the stage, and Vahïd Taj, the singer, finishes singing a patriotic song (Mullahs are forever threatened by all things patriotic), the commander of the plain clothes agents grabs him by the hand and leads him off stage. The band members begin to collect their instruments when the crowd in the concert hall start yelling at the MOIS agents: “Get lost, get lost, get out of here…” and then after a few seconds, the crowd starts to chant “Death to the Dictator, death to the dictator…”

Thank you M, ML, Fjordman, EDL Buck, UL Pete, Wrath of Khan, Shabnam, and all.

  1. Source: Al Qaeda tries, fails to kidnap 2 U.S. Embassy staff in Yemen (CNN, May 10, 2014)
    http://edition.cnn.com/2014/05/10/world/meast/yemen-qaeda-kidnapping-attempt-us-embassy/index.html

“Two al Qaeda gunmen tried to kidnap two U.S. Embassy employees in Yemen last month but were shot and killed by one of the Americans, a Yemeni government official told CNN on Saturday.

The attempted kidnapping was carried out by two armed men with al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) on April 24, and the fatal shooting occurred near a Yemeni barbershop “where many foreigners and diplomats go to get their hair cut,” the Yemeni official said.

The two U.S. Embassy personnel, however, were apparently wayward and shouldn’t have been at the barbershop, the official said.

“These individuals violated security protocol,” the Yemeni official said. “U.S. Embassy personnel are not allowed to leave their secure facilities. The American who shot the kidnappers had a gun permit and was authorized to carry a gun. The two armed kidnappers were AQAP militants. They weren’t unarmed civilians.””

  2. Militants ‘kill 20 Iraqi soldiers’ in attack near Mosul (BBC, May 11, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-27361020

“Militants have killed 20 Iraqi soldiers in an attack on a base near the northern city of Mosul, officials say.

Many of the soldiers had been shot at close range. Some of the dead had their hands tied behind their backs, a medical worker told the AP news agency.

Insurgents in Sunni-dominated parts of northern and western Iraq have been fighting security forces under the command of the Shia-led government.

Violence has peaked again since the sectarian conflict of the last decade…”

  3. RE; # 1 It has been alleged that millions of dollars have been siphoned off of the military budget of Nigeria by corrupt Generals and Staff members. It would not surprise one if some weapons and supplies were forwarded to Boko Haram .

  4. #1 Big Frank it would not be a big surprise if Obama was funding and arming Boko Haram .

#4 Hollywood will make that movie when they figure out how to blame President Bush for Obama’s betrayal.

  5. #3 silly lady – doesn’t she realise she is dressed all wrong? The ‘wrong people’ she is supposedly protecting would give her 80 lashes for her lack of proper attire.
