Massive police presence to protect a church and some Christians in Egypt

On the one hand, its good that Egyptian officialdom at some level feels its worth protecting a Christian institution, but on the other hand, the fact that its necessary might negate that slight benefit.

The Muslim Brotherhood however has set out a decree that Jewish temples and Churches are not to be attacked. The people inside them may be killed but not near their houses of worship. Presumably because it creates too much hostility for the muslim managers of ‘interfaith’ organizations across the US which are still more useful to them in terms of islamic manifest destiny than churches are an irritant elsewhere. I will be presenting the evidence of this claim within a few days I expect.

H/T M for this.

No Christians were harmed during the making of this movie. for a change.

  1. This sounds like what the Japanese did during WWII, the rape of Nanking was such bad publicity that the Japanese high command issued orders that no Chinese was to be killed in Nanking. They loaded the Chinese into trucks and drove them 20 or more miles outside of town and then killed them.
