A former mayor accused of saying “all Muslims are terrorists” during an equality training session has refused to apologise.

Mrs Snowden, 85, was due to face a standards committee hearing into the allegations on Wednesday night but phoned an hour before to say she would not be attending.

West Dorset District councillors ordered her to apologise in writing to equality officer Sue Bickle, who lodged the complaint against her.

  1. She has been accused of saying that all Muslims are terrorists but has denied it. I believe her.
    I’ve been accused of saying the same thing!
    She probably pointed out that Islam was a religion of terrorism, or words to that effect, but the abysmal low-life Leftists have come out with the usual straw man arguments and twisted her words. It’s nice to know that she’s not backing down. Good for her.
    People like her are worth a hundred spineless liberal idiots!

  3. I am a great fan of history. I have lots of books about history. I have no interest at all in Black History as a separate category of learning. I won’t let progressives force their racist attitudes into my hobby and i won’t apologize for it.

    Neither will Councillor Snowden and this is good.

  5. Considering how history is so distorted and biased against the white folk, this woman may have a valid point or at least one worthy of consideration. Only the white folk are being held responsible for the black slave trade. There is never a mention of any other group particularly the Islamic traders who were operating 600 years or so before the white trade began. Moreover, they also traded in white slaves stretching their outlets as far as Cornwall to the West coast of Ireland.

    So if they want to apportion let it fall where it rightfully belongs; with the ruling elite/crown of the day. The ordinary every day folk were certainly not responsible for this. After all in those times their lives were only a little better than that of slaves. [Check out child labor in those times!]

  6. If they want to talk about black history and slavery in particular, it should be fair to also mention that whites were not the only participants in this vile part of human history. Remember that blacks were also quite involved in selling their own people from different tribes. A fact that is not often mentionned in today’s black history lessons. It’s just too easy to blame the white men.

  7. You must remember something. This is in Dorset. Very Very few ethnic minorities live here. This is hunting country and so is not well populated. You can go for miles and miles and not see anyone other than english people. And yet here in Dorset the multiculti crowd are in operation.

  8. She is right about the waste of tax payer’s money. It should be used for local projects that benefit everyone not just the multicultural elite.
