If Wilders is wrong, explain this conference

At last, Andrew Bolt steps back into the fray

Geert Wilders, the Dutch political leader now on a speaking tour of Australia, has not only had his speeches blockaded by violent demonstrators trying to stop Australians from hearing him.

He has not only been vilified in the media for trying to warn that Islam as an ideology is a menace to Western values and freedoms – from the freedom to speak to even identify as gay.

Depressingly, he has even been shunned by Opposition Leader Tony Abbott and Jewish community leaders. It seems to me that political or community advantage is being put before principle – and fear is preventing a rational discussion of Wilders’ message.

It’s driven Abbott, even Abbott, to misrepresent what Wilders is in fact saying and play blind to the issue he actually raises – which is about the nature of Islam, not its followers:

Mr Abbott said Wilders’ was “substantially” wrong about Islam and the preparedness of Muslims living in Australia to integrate.

  1. Here are a few more by Andrew Bolt:

Swimming so much against the effluent emanating from the dhimmified media, politicians and the herd, you will not be surprised if I tell you that Andrew Bolt is not popular among them. The knives are always out for him, but he is also one of the most widely read (and listened to) Journalist/columnist/writer in Australia. I admire him completely. His origins actually are also Dutch – like Geert Wilders. There must be some special tonic in that dutch water.

  2. As Bill Warner said, we’re acting like beaten dogs or abused wives when it comes to the conversation about the conflict of Islamic ideology with Western values.

Wilders certainly is a true and classic hero of our times, both for his work and also for the self-sacrifice and abuse he shoulders while in reality is deserving of the highest of accolades.

  3. “his speeches blockaded by violent demonstrators”

According to the Left, Geert Wilders has rich backers, and therefore Privilege. People with Privilege do not deserve Free Speech, in their POV. Because the Right isn’t violent, but the Left is, and the System has a vested interest in keeping the appeareance of the Rule of Law, the System more or less protects the peaceful Right against the violent Left. This is seen as System support for Right-wing ideas in general. The Left thrives on the idea of seeing itself as subversive.
