The predictions of our demise as a major power depend on continued peace around the world, since the chance of that are slim and none (slim was last seen hitchhiking out of the country) the entire premise must be rethought. It is highly unlikely that many of our creditors will exist as a nation by the time the bonds are due.
Obama can now go into undisguised slash and burn mode as he won’t be held accountable to the electorate again. People vote for short term goodies and ignore the long term view. The treacherous Tony Blair was won three elections because he hosed people with benefits, tax credits etc (while pursuing his open door third world immigration policy). England was thus destroyed and I fear America has accepted the same death sentence.
Deirdre you are right, in fact you may be taking the optimistic position on what will happen. When the collapse comes, and it will come soon, it will take down the entire world. What happens after that isn’t going to be pretty, in fact calling it ugly will be an understatement, and with Obama at the helm I am not sure there is any way civilization can survive.
The NWO allied itself to Islam. Islam is going down in Syria. It is good news if the USA goes down, because it is the main enforcer of the NWO. Think of Serbia.
With the USA out of the way, Europe is free to do its thing.
Anyway, the most tempting target is Saudi-Arabia. With Iran’s knife at its throat, it will come to its senses. Iran however, has its own problems, mainly demographic. If Islam self-destructs, both will go to hell.
Thus, the need to convert to a new religion. Only that can save both countries. One God, three Persons??? One Islam, four Schools!!!

Agree with both your comments. Its a pity, but America is no longer part of the West. In fact, in the past two decade, it has done its best to harm the West. As Americans have yet again voted for Obama, no can say that they did not know that Obama was, and is a Muslim sympathising extreme socialist.
